The Grand Duke Ottokar is pleased to announce that the Royal Vartakian Small Arms Works is up and running, turning out a number of affordable, cutting edge infantry weapons. These include:
Jasper-BD32 7.62 mm Assault Rifle: 36 inch barrell at 1:7 rifling, with a 20 or 30 round magazine. Capable of taking down human targets are ranges up to 1000 yards (accurate to 650 yards), the 7.62mm BD32 packs a much greater punch than most modern rifles. Best for the discerning buyer anticipating small scale-infantry wars (especially counter-insurgencies). The rifle can also disable the engine block of most small cars. Layout is similar to FN FAL, barrel can be changed out to serve as squad machine gun. Standard price: $1750, with potential discounts for orders over 10,000 units.
Renda-Norton Squad Support Weapon: A launcher-type weapon capable of firing a range of munitions, available from the RVSAM, by the use of various muzzle breaks and an ingenious over-under barrel arrangement for rockets and grenades. Weighing 13 pounds fully loaded, it can fire the 40mm fragmentation, concussion, and anti-vehicle grenades, as well as 60 or 70mm anti-vehicle rockets and 70mm anti-personnel air-dispersing-fragementation rounds. Standard price: $6000 per unit
Mk17-30 Atra Squad Machine Gun: Utilizing the light, 5.56mm rifle round, the Atra is workhorse machine gun. It is capable of laying out 600 rounds per minute without overheating (1800 cyclic rate). Its high rate of fire means that ammunition is needed in plenty, but for those nations planning on defending from fixed positions, or fighting massed infantry, no weapon could be better. A heavy version is available, with a 300 rpm rate of fire (800 cyclic), this weapon is better suited to the squad-based army. Complementing the Jasper-BD32 in a squad, both of these weapons can deliver devastating suppressive and targeted fire, as well as provide sustained fire for advancing troops.
Unit Price: Light: $3000
Heavy: $3500
