A nation united (embassies being accepted)

West Corinthia
07-02-2006, 04:27
I am honored to tell you,
After years of war, brutality, and isolation, West Corinthia is officially opening it's borders to foreign diplomats. We have been seperated from the world for far too long. Of course, we are not completely without allies. We have diplomatic ties with several nations, but as far as we know we don't have any military allies. Our people are finally ready to accept foreigners as guests, and not invaders. We have united our land, and expanded our borders beyond what we ever thought possible.
Now, we require more diplomatic ties. We need trade established, free market, and military alliances. Consulates and embassies will be provided to those seeking friendship with our growing nation. We will provide you with an embassy in our capital, along with consulates in up to 5 major cities of your choice. An embassy will require more security than a consulate, but we assure you our own police are more than capable of protecting your interests. Even so, we know you will want at least a minimum security detail, even if just for show.
Nations willing to establish diplomacy shall recieve an embassy in the capital city, Kydonia.
Your choices for major cities in which to place consulates are (max. 5, listed by population):
-Thessalonika
-Tbilisi
-Volgograd
-Rostov
-Vasiligrad
-Lakonia
-Ithaca
The region we call "Corinthia" is the combined lands of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijin. In recent wars we have united this land once again, but under our own banner. We have also expanded northward into former lands of Russia around Chechnya. These assets go as far north as Kazakhstan and the Ukraine. Thus, we effectively control much of the Caspian Sea and smaller parts of the Black Sea. We hope you will find us desirable allies. Our major exports include (but are not limited to) Weapons, Munitions, weapons-grade uranium, and Crude oil.

To The Beltway, we are glad to note you have rescinded your recommendation to avoid our country. We shall do our best to keep our borders secure.

OOC: Also note I'm taking a little liberty. The war isn't really over in East Corinthia but this takes place after.;)

While we do not support the building of embassies, they are problematic. We will gladly send a trade, scientifiic, and cultural exchange delegate. They will be arriving in a small unarmed mini-sub 40 tons with a wide variety of amenities aboard. We would prefer that many of our negotiations occur on the mini-sub to insure privacy of talks. I am considered a trade delegate. I work for the Cruon Commercial House, RFS-- Registered Family Syndicate. We look forward to doing business with you.

As a first gesture of friendship we would like to start by offering a trade agreement, we wish to sell alternative fuel automobiles-- we have hybrid electric vehicles, natural gas, electric, ethanol and a wide variety of other types in your country as well as large amounts of fish from our extensive fish farms. We also have a very extensive shipping industry including both above water ships and cargo submarines which we will be able to sell you in the variety of 40, 80, and 120 ton varieties. To further enhance trade we would also like to establish a shipping lane between your country and Liberty Arcology.

We are also interested in acquiring deuterium, this would come from heavy water a byproduct of nuclear reactors. If you are working with uranium you should have plenty of it. Our scientists are currently working on bubble fusion, or tabletop fusion. http://www.spacedaily.com/news/energy-tech-04o.html

We would like to establish an embassy, within your restrictions, in Thessalonika.
Our capital is actually Kydonia, so most countries would have an embassy there and a consulate in Thessalonika, however if you wish to we will grant you space for a small embassy in Thessalonika. It is almost the size of Kydonia, and was the former capital of East Corinthia.

We find this acceptable.
