Infiltration of Tiffiny Point (FT Closed Att. Star Zero)

The infiltration team arrived in the cloaked shuttle. In the distance a large battle raged between the target’s allies and a simple diversion of raiders somehow arranged by their client. The small craft slipped aboard the station and used the mag-lock units to attach itself to the high ceiling of the hanger in a corner out of the way. It’s entrance helped by the silenced engines and the confusion below.

“Mag-lock established. Connect with the station’s internal systems so we can get the computer online.”

On the top of the shuttle, a small hatch opened and an agent with a cutter emerged. He quickly sliced a hole in the ceiling, exposing a crawlspace. He set the piece of ceiling aside, attaching a mag-lock to it so the piece would not fall off the invisible shuttle onto the floor below.

The operative crawled into the space and attached a device to one of the conduits he carefully chose after examining them with an instrument. The operative returned to the ship.

“Commander, I attached the relay. The computer should be able to establish a link.”

“Computer, link up with the station and locate target.”

The computer, specially designed and equipped with an AI programmed for high security infiltrations, connected through the device. It ran several infiltration protocols that would render it undetectable to and defenses that might be set up to defend the network. The AI carefully rerouted around obvious and less obvious alarms. It was seeking the location of The Target.

The program accessed the maintenance subroutines and compiled a service map of the complex listing several access spaces used for maintenance and repair. It carefully mapped an access route using these often forgotten passages and air ducts. The AI was careful to steer clear of any possible encounter by routing the path away from commonly accessed areas or ones that were currently in use. It would be best for everyone if nobody knew they were here until hours after they left.

Once the computer was finished, it uploaded the data to the operatives HUDs so they could access them whenever they needed. Moments later four shadows slipped from the invisible craft into the access tunnels.

OOC: ATTN: Allies, do not try to interfere with this. If you notice something, you can call Tiffany Point about it and you'll get a response, but as far as you know nothing is amiss.

SECRET IC:

The access tunnels were cold, dark, cramped. The operatives would barely have room to move. What was worse, is they had a long ways to travel.

Security Cameras would record thier movement though the tunnels, but because the systems were disabled, nothing would alert the security teams aboard Tiffany Point.

The Target was 750 meters inside the complex.

An Agent would be waiting for them. Highly trained. Highly skilled. Very Deadly.

They knew they were coming.

The Empire of Shimmeh sends in their secret commando... Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris is also complimented by 50 elite stealth troopers.

Sadly to say, the infiltration at Tiffiny Point was a massacre.

The elite stealth troopers used infrared cameras and slayed each one of your cloaked commandos while Chuck Norris ate their hearts.

The infiltration team carefully worked their way through the maze of access corridors, vents, and conduits. They were following the map created from the data their computer downloaded from the station. The HUD display marked their progress and their destination. At one point they were within 30 meters of the “target” but it would take them through a busy intersection so they had to take a 270 meter sidetrack. The computer knew what it was doing because there was only once the team had to stop and wait for a mechanic to complete some emergency repairs.

The person never knew there were four intruders perched 10 meters above his head hidden by their chameleon suits. They carefully waited with him in their crosshairs for 15 minutes while he finished. He replaced the access panel and walked away never knowing how short his life might have been.

The team advanced until they found the final access panel to exit. Using a sensor, the team leader scanned the room ahead. Finding the results he expected, he signaled the three others and opened the small panel and exited.

In the room was their contact, along with the target. Four nearly invisible figures approached their contact, their chameleon suits causing weird distortions as they moved. The leader spoke to their contact, his voice distorted by a modulator.

“Are you ready to make the trade?”

And there he was.

The Agent, dark and fearful.

"Yes, I have two items for you.

The Agent opened a large box that contained a bodybag. It was a smallish one, enough to fit small child. It was filled with something.

The second one was a small jewlery box. Filled with an item most usefull to thier cause.

"A gift from a gratefull people"

The team leader signals to his men. Two of them walk over to the box and the body bag. They attach a small device to each and then the third uses another device he took from his belt. The box and the body bag begin to dematerialize. After the third operative was satisfied they were stored within the hand unit, he nodded to the leader.

The leader turned back to their contact, his modulated voice barely above a whisper.

“You have done well. You should get your reward within the next few days, depending how the situation pans out.”

The infiltration team exit through the access hatch, their chameleon suits making them invisible in the gloom of the passageway. They begin the long crawl back to their shuttle.

As the team turns to leave the Agent informs him.

"You should be aware, that as soon as you disconnect from our station, you will trigger a full scale red alert and will be persued. You will get away, but we can't make it too easy one you now can we?"

About 20 minutes later the team slid out of the access hole cut into the ceiling of the landing bay. The four members deactivated their chameleon suits and began to stow gear. The one with the containment device placed it into its resting spot in one of the consoles.

Without a word, the entire team went into action. One of them went to the hatch and took a Chemseal, using it to patch the hole they made. It would last for a bit but the vacuum of the landing bay would eventually cause it to rupture. They would be long gone before that happened. Once done, he sealed the top hatch.

The pilot slowly activated the engines and watched the traffic, both incoming and outgoing. He saw the wave of badly shot up fighters return from their first mission only to be sent right back out.

“Go for it, follow them out.”

The pilot disengaged the maglocks and slowly drifted out of the launch bay, barely centimeters from the ceiling. When the shuttle passed through the defensive screen, a wild shot also struck the shield from the outside. The surge in energy caused the shuttle to be outlined.

“Damn!”

The pilot gunned the engines and the shuttle shot away like a bullet. Alarms went off and the base scrambled. Several fighters were diverted to apprehend the intruder. They fired everything they could, trying to capture the intruders for interrogation. The covert team calmly went about their business. One of them was operating the gunnery commands. The weapons aboard the shuttle were not anything more useful than to clear away debris. Several shots hit the fighters but they did minimal damage. At least the guns made them pause, buying time.

After achieving the proper distance, the crew switch the controls to automatic and then the leader one by one used the same instrument on them that earlier was used on the target. Lastly he set it for automatic also, issued some commands, and then activated the device. He was quickly dematerialized and contained within the buffers, along with them all. The autopilot sent the stored energy patterns through a subspace conduit.

After the team was beamed off, the autopilot triggered a small explosion in one of the engines, causing the ship to slow down. It maneuvered into one of the fighter’s blasts and triggered another explosion. All the naquida carefully mounted through the shuttle was triggered into one huge explosion. The bright fireball could be seen almost anywhere in the system. It was completely destroyed and debris was rendered nonexistent. The residue of naquida was the only thing detectable.
