Official Statement from the Republic of Antanjyl to the World
Greetings world! Recently our government had undergone a change into a Democracy. Over a year after this took place, seemingly noble forces had taken ahold of millions of our police and workers for what they consider training, and have begun to do things such as randomly handing out assault weapons to civilian populations without any idea who they were, and there has been a steady rise in assassinations since their allies have come to power... So we attempted to ask them to leave, as any nation would.
Along with this we asked to see how our police and workers were being trained, but were repeatedly denied and our requests ignored by the vicious Allanean government. When we began sending illegally armed soldiers to work camps for a few months, depending on weapon, the Shogun of Pschycotic Pschycos, along with a terrorist organization, had issued payment for killing our remaining police and workers...
Antanjyl is no longer in a violent regime, however we can not just sit by and let this happen to our people. They promised peace, but instead have brought nothing but untold amounts of violence and barbarity to our civilians, and by giving out weapons to opposing unlicensed parties, it will only lead to a civil war. We told them to stop, but they are more than likely going to attack our very government at any time...
We've obeyed nearly all of their requests to the letter, however were unable to obey a few such as legalizing homeschooling, as it would almost certainly cause the child to know less than other children in a nation like our own. Other than that and legalizing all weapons for any civilian capable of wielding one, we have more or less followed the rest to the letter. Within 72 hours they have threatened to begin bombing and firebombing our government buildings...
In the hopes of reaching out to the international community to garner assistance, I, Democratically Elected Emperor of Antanjyl, have come to you. I can only hope that my doing so will prevent anymore bloodshed to my already bloodied people.
