Recovering Lost Assets: The Invasion of Zenti

OOC:Zenti and I discussed this on MSN.

The Agent, also known as Khan Whyatica to the masses, was quite angry. The nation of Zenti had been engulfed in civil war for months, and one of the warring factions had been assaulting Whyatican shipping for months. An estimated $35 billion in damage had been caused, not only by the thievery of the cargo, but by the destruction of half a dozen supertankers.

The Sultan barely thought twice; War with Zenti.

He ordered the activation of the First Infantry Battalion, and as a show of force, six hundred ships, fresh off the production line, ready for their trial by fire.

Fort Nassei, Whyatica

Khan Whyatica stood on a large platform above the unmoving First Infantry Battalion. They all looked at exactly the same spot, they all looked vaguely similar, and none of them disobeyed an order when given.

"Zenti has wronged us, men..We will repay these debts in spades...Go, my soldiers, and destroy the enemy!" Whyatica yelled to the soldiers.

The unemotional soldiers marched into massive troop carrying boats, which would link up with the fleets outside of the Persian Gulf. It was a 5 day trip to Zenti, and they expected to meet some enemy pirates on the way there...

They left at 0700 hours, six hundred combat ships, two hundred logistics ships, and one hundred troop ships, carrying Death to the Zentians..

I'll go into depth on the leaders should it ever become eventful.

As the massive ships from Whyatic slowly moved south, into the way of the warring two portions of Zenti, a small pirate fleet would be right in their path. Comprised of aging four frigates, two missile boats, and three submarines, it was not at all very frightening, especially when they took it upon themselves to fire while retreating. It didn't take long for the small fleet of ships to be completely, but as they did so they quickly opened fire, their turrets firing straight into the massive fleet as the submarines launched torpedos, while a single sub quickly began to retreat.

Out of the fight the single fleeing stealth submarine quickly dived and made its way quickly Southward, quickly surfacing as it's small antennae quickly relayed the information to the city of Aldabra, which was the first of the Eastern Front's territories on the war path...

Eastern Zenti; Aldabra Island 0500 HOURS

The island was seemingly small, heavily forested with exquisite jungles, the only actual city other than the small villages being, ironically, Aldabra City. It was home to three hundred thousand people, most of which lived at sea on house boats and the like. The lone military installation was as of yet free from the massive war taking place on the African coast, and the European looking gentlemen sitting in the radio control room, with the door open to the beach, were unprofessionally laid back in their white uniforms. They were smoking cigarettes and playing checkers, the board covering the controls...

"So Jean-Paul, king me! So like I was saying, this is a pretty nice spot. I might consider moving up here once the base is completed, what about you?" He said calmly, putting out his cigarette.

"Well... I don't know, it has a nice feel to it, but nothing beats the hustle and bustle of the capital, am I right?" He laughed a bit as he quickly moved a piece across the board, jumping over three of his friend's checker pieces, "Ah... Victory is sweet Samone."

"Heh..." Jean-Paul was about to protest when the radio went off with an urgent message, "Crap, looks like its back to work!" He quickly took the checker board off of the controls and quickly ran fingers across the controls as the message began to come through clearly.

"I-INVASION F-FLEET! NORTH OF ALDABRA! INFORM THE GENERALS! BZZZzzzt..."

"W-what?! Attacking here?! Gah! Samone, you work on getting that sent to Madagascar! I'll inform the rest of the brass!"

"Gotcha... Damn... There goes my winning streak..."

Bridge, WSS Na'ib

"Grand Admiral, we have detected a small fleet running a pirate flag. Orders?" the Sensory officer stated evenly.

The Grand Admiral never got a chance to give his orders before the weaponry officer yelled, "Grand Admiral, incoming shells!"

The massive Whyatican fleet unloaded Surface-To-Air Missiles at the incoming m issiles, and downed them all, as the six hundred ship strong fleet could take a hell of a lot more than one salvo.

The torpedos, however, were another matter. PD torpedo launchers fired off, taking down most of the incoming torpedos, but not all. One lucky torpedo found it's mark on the front of a Morsky-Orol cruiser, and blew the entire front end out of it. The ship began to list as sailors jumped out..

About half a dozen shells came flying in from the frigates, and most of them impacted harmlessly with the armor of the Zealous-class Super-Dreadnaught.

Angered by the loss of a ship, the Grand Admiral said, "Target them with as many missiles as you can throw..Use the satellites to lock on..Fire!"

A salvo of 400 missiles lept from the fleet, aimed towards the pitiful Zentii fleet. ASW helicopters were immediately launched, scouting for the submarines that so destroyed one of their own.

Moving much faster than the aging submarines, they found them, and launched missiles towards them..

The Grand Admiral said, "Let's see if we can end the war before it's begun..Use the Numonican launch codes, fire three ICBMs at this city." He pointed at a city on the southwesternmost border of Zenti.

"Use the Bioweapon.."

"Are you sure, Grand Admiral?" The young weaponry officer said.

"Do not question orders, Ensign.." the Grand Admiral said.

The fleet sailed ahead, leaving the destroyed Morsky-Orol behind..They would be hitting the island of Aldabra first, and advancing to Madagascar from there...

Numonica

Three massive ICBM missiles leapt from the missile silos of Numonica, flying through the atmosphere at a major Zentii city..There wouldn't be any hope for the poor civilian population of that city, as the Bioweapon was uncurable except for Kraven and his Slaves..

OOC: I would prefer no interference. However most nations have some form of biological weapon Whyatica, so let that be known in advance. ;) Not to mention three ICBMs being fired from that far away are pretty easy to prevent, since we're talking WELL over a 1,000 mile distance, plus thats taking into consideration that the ICBMs are being fired from your nation and not where I thought Numonica was, which was in the Arctic. Not to mention the fact they're massive. ICBMs are basically the easiest airborne targets to hit down. The fact that you're not launching them from the ship, as is usually done, will only make it easier to target and hit them. X_X

IC:

"Sir! We have ICBMs targetting us from far away!" A young man in a white uniform shouted as he rushed into the control room, an aging bearded man standing before a control console, "They should be here within minutes! There are three of them!"

"Hmm... Just three? Well intercept them! Have we received word from Headquarters?!"

"No sir! They said they'll send reinforcements in three days!"

"Damn! Well launch our interceptors and move the civilians into the jungle!" The aging man shouted angrily as he smacked a hand down on the console and turned towards the flag, "Brave new paradigm... Bah!"

Aldabra Northern Beach

As the ICBMs came forward minutes later, almost three hundred interceptors fired when it came near their range, but far enough to have no interference from the invader's fleet. Now that they knew of the enemy's plans for Aldabra they could be sure that they wouldn't allow it just sitting down! The city was quickly, for the most part, evacuated as soldiers and civilians rushed into the southern jungle, towards a hidden port in the south.

"Grand Admiral, all ICBMs shot down. Orders?"

"Begin missile bombardment of the Aldraba coast. Use two duds for every one good missile, we want to run their interceptors out of ammo."

"Aye, sir."

Thousands upon thousands of missiles leapt from the fleet, 4,400 in total, but two duds for every one missile loaded with explosives. They would run the ABM missiles in Aldabra out of ammo long before all 4,400 missiles were destroyed..

The fleet continued to steam ahead, aiming to get in range of Aldabra and then shell it to submission..There had been no serious resistance as of yet, but the Grand Admiral kept on alert...

Aldraba City

The small city fired off all of its missiles at the missiles coming down, taking out at most, one thousand. The rest hit in a massive volley causing the entire coast to erupt in flames, as scorched civilians rushed out of their homes and offices screaming, dying seconds later as another bomb hit them, or from being entirely consumed by the flames. Thousands died by the minute, but even more managed to escape to the southern secret port...

"Grand Admiral, we have recieved a transmission from the Zentii. They're asking us to stand down and withdraw or else they will respond."

"Send them a message..."

A message was broadcasted to the islands of Aldabra and Madagascar, saying,
You should have thought of our retaliation before raiding our shipping. We will not withdraw.

The fleet was finally in range of the Aldabran beach, and several UAVs were launched to increase the accuracy of the ships. The sea of metallic grey ships opened fire all at once, saturating Aldabra with shells ranging from five inches to twenty-five inches, the biggest naval shells used in the Whyatican navy.

People are afraid of fire..

"Grand Admiral..Intelligence report states that the Zentii are fleeing Aldabra through a hidden port in the southern area."

"Get the fleet moving, we'll hunt them down and destroy them.."

After the mighty wave of shells shot through the sky at Aldabra, hopefully burning it to the ground, the fleet began to move once more, this time to cut off the civilian refugees coming from the small island..

Aldabra Island; Southern Port

The citizens quickly evacuated on the availiable vehicles, the rich using motor boats and the like, while the poor and islanders began grabbing anything from canoes to hopping aboard a large emptied cargo ship. By the time the largest portion of the population began setting off, the Whyatic fleet came into view in the distance. The speakers around the island almost immediately erupted with shouting.

"The enemy have arrived! All ships quickly head south at once! There should be a large contingent of the royal navy there to assist us!"

The citizens didn't need to be told twice as they quickly began to move southward, all in range of the immense naval fleet at both sides of the island. A few of the more courageous citizens manned an old WWII frigate and actually began firing at the nearest ships, while a few citizens at the beach quickly began running back into the burning jungles to the north...

Official Secret Communique to all Zenti Naval Forces

There is a massive enemy fleet to the north! I want all availiable ships going north! We will meet them at the military base at the Commoro Islands! Leave a minimal amount of forces to keep Eastern Zenti from attempting anything! If we don't stop them now they'll be able to move right in and take the capital!

The weapons officer, a bead of sweat on his brow, said,

"Grand Admiral, Enemy fleet massing at the Commoro Islands range."

"Thank you, Weaponry..Fire a salvo of shells at the retreating civilian ships, and redirect one of the UAVs over the enemy fleet..Order it to increase height and go radar-transparent." Grand Admiral Ali-Khan Samoud stated.

"Aye, sir. Initial Spysat reports are in..Three hundred ships, nothing bigger than a battleship. All the ships are outdated by our standards, sir. Their carriers and aircraft in particular look especially old." the weapons officer said, reading off his console.

"Change course to an interception heading, bring all air crews active and preparing their planes for launch. Stop the fleet at one hundred nautical miles, and begin missile salvos once we are at skirmishing range."

The fleet turned around, and began to move at full speed to the probably unprepared Zenti fleet. Outnumbered two to one, the pitiful Zenti resistance effort would be stamped beneath the boot of Whyatica..

The civilian ships were more or less enveloped in the massive missile array, brushed away as if they were nothing. The few rich who had made it earlier had survived for the most part in their speedboats, but the majority of even they were taken out. Bodies floated in the red tinted water, as flaming debris slowly crashed against the barren shoreline.

Comoro Island Naval/Air Base

The ships were quietly amassed, the thirty or so missile ships ready to fire on a moment's notice, as the air base's F-15s were more or less fueled along with their B-20 bombers. At the forefront, an enormous line of battleships and frigates waited, with a smaller number of aircraft carriers and cruises behind that. There were also a scattered amount of destroyers randomly spaced out, and underwater were almost three dozen submarines. They were not told exactly how many enemy naval units were being sent, but were assured more help would be on the way. It was a lie, but it would keep them fighting, which was all the Eastern Military wanted while they souped up Madagascar's defenses and ICBMs...

General Howard sat back at the military base control room, a cigarette in his mouth as the rugged looking man stared at photos from space of the immense fleet. It was he who lied about the reinforcements, but upon seeing the photos for the first time, he was glad he had. Any sane soldiers in the Eastern Military would probably have run off upon seeing the impregnable wall of ships. Though he was sure his men would give it their all.

"Grand Admiral, all civilian targets destroyed. No survivors detected."

"Excellent..Now, target the battleships and carriers, missiles and shells...Railguns on the battleships. All railguns are to be loaded with Penetrators, and the second salvo with HE. Submarines to form a perimeter and begin searching for enemy subs. Second full salvo on as many escorts as you can hit with missiles. All aircraft are to be launched...Gain air superiority, and then we'll have free reign over the enemy. Execute.." the seasoned Grand Admiral Ali-Khan Samoud rattled off, as if he was reading off a grocery list.

"Aye, sir." was heard across the bridge as the men relayed their orders..

Missiles, shells, aircraft, railgun shells, a maelstorm of destruction leapt from the mighty Whyatican fleet.. The outdated Zenti fleet stood no chance whatsoever to survive the heavy blows. Hundreds of air superiority fighters launched from the various carriers of the fleet, and the Battlecarriers launched bombers and strike fighters in the air as they fired their 20" coilguns..

Comoro Island Naval/Air Base

"Sir! They're launched an immense attack at us!" An officer shouted as all the lights quickly turned red, "What are we going to do?!"

"Heh heh... Its like cat and mouse. Well survivors move forward!" General Howard shouted over the intercoms, which came aboard all ships at once, "Don't let the enemy survive! We may be outnumbered, but god is on our side!"

The massive fleet slowly moved forward, as hundreds of aircraft began taking out just as the first of the massive missiles slammed into a frigate, causing it to explode on impact. This was followed by another and another continuously, as the entire harbor and base began erupting in flames, as all of the ships from Zenti began to fire once they were in range, and the aircraft attempted to dodge as many missiles as they could as the bombers steadily rose in altitude. The submarines too moved, their torpedos readied. As one the immense fleet moved forward, the crew members tense and frightened of the wall of death in front of them...

Thankfully, they would indeed receive a small amount of help from the military leaders in Madagascar. The 600 military ICBMs, for the first time during this long civil war, would finally be launched. While armed with only conventional weapons, they were carrying warheads capable of doing a large amount of damage to the enemy fleet if they attempted to hit while they were engaging the Zenti forces.

And so, as soon as Whyatica fired upon the base, Madagascar fired on their fleet, launching 600 ICBMs in a single second, along with the missiles and other weaponry being fired from the steadily dwindling Comora fleet.

The fight against the Zenti navy had gone far better than expected; Over seventy percent Zenti losses in the first salvos, and the massive broadsides from the Whyatican fleet continued to pound the Zenti navy. Aircraft dogfighted in mid-air, with an antiquated Zenti F-15 landing occasional hits on Whyatican Axim fighters, sending them to the bottom of the sea.

"Green 3, report." a wing commander said over his radio.

"Green Leader, I'm being pursued by a bogey, I can't shake him.." Green 3 said.

"Roger, Moving to intercept." Green Leader responded.

The Axim fighter of Green Leader sliced through the skies at high speeds, but the elite pilot in the Zenti F-15 scored several blows with his missiles, and Green 3's fighter careened to the ocean..

"Mayday, mayday, I'm going down.." Green 3 yelled over his radio.

He aimed his fighter at a remaining Zenti battleship as he sailed down the skies...

Green Leader, in a fit of vengeance, targetted the fighter who killed his comrade and unleashed missiles galore...

In the water, the fight continued. Missiles continued to leap from missile destroyers, shells out of massive cannons, and all was going well for the Whyatican fleet.

Until, that is, the Madagascar support came in the form of six hundred ICBM missiles. The SAM systems of the fleet locked onto the incoming missiles, sending rockets through the sky..When three quarters of the missiles were destroyed, the CIWS systems locked on, but they only destroyed about ten percent. Still missiles flew in, and they impacted ships of nearly all kinds..

Twenty escort destroyers took hits and exploded in massive fireballs..An Elusive-class battleship took a hit from one ICBM, and began to list..A second missile impacted, destroying the magazine, destroying the ship instantly. Cruisers took near-misses and began to list, and an Argentine-class Galleon took a hit and found herself unable to use her main guns.

And they still pushed on...

Along the path of the massive Whyatican fleet, the naval fleets was almost entirely sinking or completely covered in flame. The ocean was a wide mix of chunks of ships, bodies, and burning oil, and the base itself was no better, a collapsed ruin of what it once was. In the air, the remaining dozen or so pilots continued to fight on valiantly, as one after another they were all destroyed, as the squad leader quickly evaded a cluster of missiles before being torn apart from fire emanating from the ships below.

Comoro, along with most of East Zenti's naval fleet, had fallen...

Madagascar's Imperial Palace

"Sir... We've lost the fleet and our ICBM only managed to take out a small portion of their entire fleet. What should we do?" An advisor asked, almost in a daze as his aged body walked over to the throne in the center of the massive room, full of pillars and exquisite paintings, "We still haven't managed to make inroads into Western Zenti eithers..."

The Emperor sat on his throne quietly as this sunk in, for a high general to be toppled by a single naval fleet from some backwater arab nation... It was just unheard of! He slowly grit his teeth and smiled a bit as he turned his back to a painting of himself, holding an assault rifle.

"Well have Madagascar's defenses heightened. Are our ICBMs reloaded? It should take them some time to get in range hmm?"

"Yes sir, they're prepared."

"Well then, launch them directly into the fleet! I want our missile defense systems all put online, and I want to keep firing ICBMs at them untill they run out of munitions to defend themselves. Is that clear?!"

"Aye sir. I shall inform the generals..." The old man said with a salute, slowly leaving the room, a limp in his step as he passed the armed guards on both sides of him...

Madagascar ICBM Grid

Just as soon as the battle was finished, a second volley of 600 ICBMs was fired, as most of the ships would not be expecting such an attack within a mere hour. Hopefully they lost more than enough missiles to shoot them down, but if not, Madagascar easily promised to send more by the end of the day. Along with this, numerous anti-air vehicles were moved around the city to defend it, and all settlements were on high alert and urged to report any more attacks.

As the Zenti fleet burned and sank into the ocean, a parting salvo of shells were fired at the flaming Commoro Islands. The fleet immediately began to move at their maximum speed to Madagascar..

Bridge, WSS Na'ib

"Grand Admiral, another ICBM launch has been detected." a weaponry officer said.

"I'm getting tired of these...Send commands to the space weaponry, drop some godrods on those damn silos. And while you're at it, send a command to the Fort Nassei ICBMs and order the ones filled with conventional weaponry to fire. Set their impact zones 1km apart in the Madagascar jungle. Burn the jungle down..."

"Aye, sir."

Earth Orbit

Two dozen heavy Whyatican weaponry satellites floated over the island of Madagascar. They were waiting for target locks on the huge amounts of Zenti missile silos. A burst of information was sent up to the satellites, and they realigned themselves over their target.

They each fired a massive tungsten rod at their target, before aligning themselves at the next target and firing. Every missile silo used in the assault on the Whyatican fleet was targetted, and it was unlikely any would survive..

Fort Nassei, Whyatica
"Major, new orders have arrived from the Zenti taskforce. They're requesting a bombardment of 300 conventional ICBMs on the Zenti island of Madagascar." a private stated, at attention.

The major looked at the private funnily and said,
"What are you waiting for then? Get the missilemen started on it!"

"Aye, sir." the private saluted and walked off.

Mere minutes later, three hundred Whyatican ICBMs leapt from their silos, and their re-entry zones were spaced one kilometer apart per warhead. With each ICBM loaded with two MIRVs, this meant six hundred kilometers of Madagascar desert would go under the chopping block..

Zenti Naval Task Force
"Grand Admiral, ICBMs incoming.."

The automatic defenses of the fleet, fine tuned with the experiences of the previous attack, outperformed themselves. 87% of the missiles downed with ABM/SAM, and 8% destroyed with CIWS, meant a 95% success rate. However, that still meant 30 missiles impacted the fleet.

An already damaged Argentine had it's day worsened by a second impact, further destroying it's main armaments, and several watertight bulkheads were immediately closed off.

Numerous escort destroyers and cruisers took hits and sank to the bottom of the sea.

The fleet continued to speed within shooting range of Madagascar..

Dozens of Missile Silos were destroyed by the ensuing Artillery, which had attempted to actually destroy so many ICBMs before they began to reach their targets. As the twentieth silo was targetted and destroyed, they stopped firing and remained on standby, hidden by the jungle... For awhile at least.

Madagascar Capital Palace

"Sir! Our Sensors are picking up a massive salvo of ICBMs aiming at Madagascar!" An Officer shouted across the room to a large man in a white military uniform.

"Gahhh! Intercept as many as you can... Fire all of our third wave of ICBMs at the fleet, satellites can't restock with weapons too easily..." He said quietly, looking over at the map...

Madagascar

Immediately after the ICBMs were in range, hundreds of defenses began to fire at them, taking out a moderate amount of the ICBMs despite the quality of the things firing. As this happened, the remaining over 500 ICBMs all launched what was possibly their final salvo at the enemy fleet. In actuality they were trying to exhaust the enemy's ortillery as well.

In the end though, many of the enemy ICBMs managed to hit, almost half of them smacking into the jungles, the explosions sending uprooted trees and piles of dirt and rock skyward in all directions, along with destroying another huge amount of ICBMs, nearly a hundred. As the explosions ripped the island, another small force was being sent to the military base to prepare to defend the island against them. Plans were also underway to completely withdraw from the West, as there was currently no threat coming from them.

Unbeknownst to the Zenti, weapons satellites carried more than one round of their form of death. When the last few Zenti missile silos were firing, heavy tungsten rods were shot from space down towards them..

The brand-new Whyatican SDI system was brought online due to the ICBM launch of Zenti. They had only been in space for a few days, and they were promptly wasted on the Zenti missiles. Dozens of bomb-pumped x-ray lasers shot down through the atmosphere, detonating dozens upon dozens of missiles on impact. However, every x-ray laser had to be replaced now, which would not be cheap for Whyatica..

Four hundred twenty four missiles, remained, and they shot through the sky at the Whyatican fleet..

Whyatican Battlefleet
422 ICBM missiles flew towards the tiring Whyatican fleet. They still had plenty of ABM defense, but the missile operators were getting tired. Surface-to-air missiles locked onto the third and hopefully final wave of ICBMs, and fired.

Grand Admiral Ali-Khan Samoud broadcast an order out;
"Use small-yield tactic nukes to destroy ICBMs while they are still hundreds of miles away."

This order was obeyed to the letter, as three < 100kt nuclear missiles were loaded into missile launchers, and shot at high velocities to the incoming ICBMs.

Upon detonation, all but fifteen ICBMs were destroyed. They continued to rocket to the newly confident Whyatican fleet, and CIWS systems opened up, spraying a wall of lead at the sparsely remaining missiles.

On the bridge of the WSS Na'ib, the weaponry officer was proud to report, "All incoming missiles destroyed."

"Excellent, weaponry..Comm, order launching of ten high-altitude stealth bombers. Get them loaded with napalm. I'm unsure of the Zenti air defense, so high-altitude it is until we do. Their orders are to drop the napalm on the Zenti jungles, and if they get an opportunity, on their military base."

"Aye, sir."

Qu'Ran Class Carrier
Ten Whyatican "Firebird-H" stealth bombers, H standing for High-Altitude, rocketed off the runway of the Qu'Ran class supercarrier it was stationed on. They began to increase altitude up to 125,000 feet, and began to cruise at Mach 3.

They found their objective, and slowed down to Mach 1.1 so they wouldn't overshoot as badly. The bombers dropped thousands of tons of napalm and other explosives on the jungle, hoping to reveal any more hidden missile silos or military dumps.

Two bombers, however, didn't release their explosives with the rest. Instead, they flew to the military base on the northeast corner of Zenti, dropping twenty thousand pounds of bombs each..

The bombers immediately turned around and hit their supercruise, hoping to get back to home base before being detected by enemy fighters..

Some missiles attempted to intercept the planes, however they were too high to have any effect against the planes, and only managed to smack into the bombs being dropped mid-air, causing a few dozen to explode in the air. The remaining payload of well over fifteen thousand pounds of bombs slammed into the base, erupting in fireballs as they hit aircraft, stationed ships, and a large refueling truck. As soon as the explosive payload stopped, three thousand soldiers stationed at the base were dead, along with a battleship which was being refitted, and three frigates.

Madagascar

The napalm did their job efficiently, burning hundreds of troops and guerilla combatants, along with destroying a large portion of the ABM defenses, and revealing nearly one half of the remaining 258 Silos, which would still need to be reloaded before they could fire another salvo of ICBMs, leaving a three-day window open where Madagascar would be essentially defenseless.

"Grand Admiral, all bombers have landed on the carriers." the comm officer read off his console.

The Captain of the WSS Na'ib asked, "Are you sure? We're at war with them as well..."

"Yes, I am, Captain...Besides, the time will come when we will take Western Zenti as well.." the Grand Admiral said harshly.

"Also, while we're on the subject...Send a communication to the East Zenti government...Call for their immediate unconditional surrender. If they do not comply, we will begin burning cities and military bases."

"Aye, sir."

The communications were sent out, and the fleet reached 50 nautical miles off of the Zenti Madagascar coast. They targetted the burning military base, and opened fire with one full salvo of shells.

The call for the immediate surrender of East Zenti was rebroadcast, and all guns in the fleet were reloaded anxiously..

The coastal bombardment decimated the remaining soldiers, many of which were currently running out of the base into the jungle in search of cover. A further thousand soldiers were killed as the bombardment from the naval fleet took place, while many more escaped into the dense, slightly defoliated jungles beyond.

Meanwhile, more and more of the silos were being targetted and taken out by the Ortillery. While this was going on however, plans were already underway in the capital to have the remaining ones refire to take out the stationary naval fleet at the shore. However, most of them were more than receptive when the terms of surrender were finally brought forth...

"Emperor! Are you insane?" The aged advisor shouted, looking across the room at their leader, who was sitting back in his throne stroking his large white beard, "They're already at our shores! Our naval fleet was exhausted long ago by the civil war!"

"No, I think you're insane if you think some filthy rabble from the Middle East are going to overthrow me! Guards, Arrest the Advisor!" He shouted as his face reddened, grinning as two of the nearest guards grabbed for the man.

Suddenly, as if on cue, the doors sprung open and a large group of armed men came in, led by one of the Emperor's generals.

"Ah, General Horace... What is it?" The Emperor said with a smile, contently sitting back, "How nice of you to show up, it seems I'll be needing a new advisor." His smile widened as the old man was slowly dragged over to the door, "Try to find a more loyal man for the job this-"

"That isn't necessary gentlemen..." General Horace said with a smirk, pulling out a large ornate longsword. The two guards immediately released him and looked back at the Emperor before moving back to the room's walls, "Emperor... I've had enough of watching you make mistake after mistake, and slowly driving this nation into the ground..." He slowly began to walk forward, his heavy black boots echoeing throughout the throne room.

"W-what do you think you're doing? You swore an oath to me, remember Horace? The people will never follow you!" The Emperor slowly stood up and reached for a small pistol he kept on a holster behind him, pointing it right at the general's chest, "I think you're the one insane!"

The entire hall was completely empty of movement or emotion other than the two men. Nobody in the room was willing to move as the General slowly opened his mouth to speak, his pale blue eyes concentrating on his former Leader's. The Emperor, in response, sweat dripping down his forehead, slowly cocked the gun back, ready to fire.

"Perhaps I am... But the people have long ago lost trust in you..." The General slowly took another step forward, now only eight feet away, "I swore my life to an Emperor, not some egotistical coward... If you're going to pull that trigger you had better do it now, Jean-Paul..."

It seemed as if nearly a minute passed as both men stood there, all eyes on them. Then, as fast as lighting the General leapt forward, and the Emperor's gun fired with a sharp flash, a splash of blood spilling followed by an anguished scream.

The General slowly moved his sword further up the Emperor's chest, causing the pained screams to finally end before he moved aside, patting a red blotch on his shoulder...

"He always was a crappy shot... Send the message to Whyatica that we've dethroned our leader and are ready to unconditionally surrender to them..."

"Aye sir!"

West Zenti Capital; Purgforamen

The Western Capital was predominated by large piles of scrap metal and trash, which was being burnt to give power to the large amount of slums in the refugee compounds under their jurisdiction. Every day they had to watch out for attacks from the East, however ever since Whyatica arrived all those days ago they had more or less been able to garner some amount of peace.

In the center of this immense city laid the Old Imperial Palace of the nation which once stood there, left over as a relic. All records of the nation were completely written off from history when they moved in, so they simply called it the old country. It was large and white, though blackened at portions from bomb fire and smog, however it still managed to hold a certain amount of presence.

"Sir! That Whyatica Fleet has offered to bring about a Peace Treaty against the East..." A young man said quietly, puffing a plume of smoke from his mouth, a cigar dangling in his hand, "Seems kinda fishy, but they've got no beef with us."

The President sat back in his chair thoughtfully, nursing a bottle of gin in one hand, while an assault rifle was slung along his back. He was covered in a tan, along with burns, slashes, and one of his eyes were a sickly white... This was the revolutionary leader, Azul Gerad...

"Ahhh... Well I don't see what choice we have? For now we might as well ride with it, eh?" He said with a deep African Accent, as he leaned forward and grabbed a cigar from his general's front pocket, lighting it, "Send a few squads out to liberate the coast now. The East will probably surrender any day now, so we might as well rake up some territory. Oh and do we have it?"

"Yeah, Enough to make sure they don't get too frisky." The General said with a smile, licking his lips, revealing the fact that he was missing almost all of his teeth, "Should be no problems there."

"Alright then. I'll send the message."

WSS Na'ib

"Grand Admiral..Message incoming from Madagascar. The Zenti have surrendered."

A cheer was heard across the bridge as that meant the first half of their conflict was over. There was still Western Zenti to deal with, but the Grand Admiral did not think force would be a good idea for this area..

"Comm, send a message to West Zenti and ask if they would like a meeting on the Na'ib. Tell them we have an offer for them that would change their nation forever.."

A telegram was sent off to Purgforamen saying;
Your enemies of Eastern Zenti have unconditionally surrendered. We wish to hold a meeting on our command ship to discuss the future of Eastern Zenti, and other diplomatic matters. Please respond.

Grand Admiral Ali-Khan Samoud, Democratic Sultanate of Whyatica

"Weaponry, order all infantry to prepare for landing. We will be entering the Capital of Eastern Zenti and removing all pro-emperor groups. Equip the H-K groups for urban combat. One armored division will be prepared for landing. The landing beach shall be here," The Grand Admiral pointed at the former military base on the Northwest corner,
"Fortifications and supply depots will be constructed here. After extermination of dissenters, we will begin reconstruction of all damaged infrastructure.."

The orders were carried out.

The Whyatican Capitol Police, albeit disguised in jungle camoflauge, still had the characteristic red eyes of the old Capitol Police..They loaded, fifty at a time, into massive VTOL troop carriers. They launched, and flew to the razed military base..

They landed, and began clearing rubble and all the other crap that was tossed up during the short bombardment, and made flat areas for helicopter landings..

Thousands of Capitol Police disgorged from VTOL carriers, immediately looking for pockets of resistance that would be remaining in the base..

A Policeman kicked over a piece of rubble to find a dying Zenti soldier..

He stared at the glowing red eyes of the inhuman Whyatican soldier, and said, "The Emperor will always protect us from you.."

The Capitol Police, unwavering, unreacting, emotionless, aimed his GPMG at the dying Zenti soldier and sent a quick spray of hot lead at him..

"Excellent." The President muttered as he walked across the room and looked out the window, to a group of children playing soldiers. It was quite a beautiful sight to behold, even now that the war was finally over, "They've more or less taken Eastern Zenti... I'll go to the Ship and talk over any deals. Abdul, take care of the fort while I'm gone, okay man?"

The General nodded as he lifted the gin bottle from the president's table and chugged it before seating himself behind the massive desk. He then smiled, reaching for a pair of glasses and sticking them over his eyes. President Azul Gerad looked back and nodded, satisfied that he was leaving such a strong leader behind, just in case the Whyaticans planned to kill him off just to bring about some chaos...

Before leaving however, he sent a single message to the fleet, to assure them that he would be there in time.

This is President Azul Gerad, of the West Zenti Revolutionaries... I will meet with your ship soon, and plan to be there within two days. I hope for relatively beneficial and peaceful talks between our two people.

West Zenti President,
Azul Gerad

Madagascar

The Capitol Police would meet little resistance, other than a few Pro-Emperor rebels. These men were more or less nation-less now, but still managed to bring some fire to bear upon the enormous amount of soldiers moving through the jungle. It was hard for fifty thousand soldiers to move at once through a jungle, especially without being spotted, though the outter fringes of the group usually managed to sneak up on these rebel groups before they could get many shots off.

The Zenti plane gracefully landed on the flight deck of the Na'ib, and a pair of Whyatican Marines in full dress uniform opened the door to the Zenti plane and escorted President Azul Gerad out.

"We have orders to escort you to our conference room, President Gerad. Our Grand Admiral is waiting in there."

They brought the President down the decks of the massive Super-Dreadnaught and into a conference room, which was lavishly decorated along with the bullet-grey walls and bulkheads.

The Grand Admiral watched President Azul Gerad walk into the room, and thought, There's a man who's been through some fighting..
He was impressed by the number of battle scars on this man. He thought that he would be a fierce leader of his people and would not be easy to break.

In his mind he changed tactics..

"Welcome, President Azul Gerad of West Zenti. Soldiers," The marines snapped to attention, "you are dismissed." They saluted the Grand Admiral and left the room.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Grand Admiral Ali-Khan Samoud, of the Democratic Sultanate of Whyatica. Would you like some coffee or anything to drink?"

He sized up the man sitting before him..

"Hmm..." Azul Gerad hummed to himself, sitting back in the chair with an amount of comfort which gave away the fact that he had no fear due to his surroundings. His eyes slowly roamed around the room before he turned to the man in front of him, "Coffee... Black, if you don't mind."

His voice was as cold as steel as he rubbed his shoulder, remembering that his assault rifle was removed, leaving only a two handguns and some knives still on him if he needed it. Though if this was the Admiral, killing the man with his own two hands would suffice, even if it meant his own life. These were usually the types of things he planned out almost exactly after meeting someone, and the icy look from his eye made his violent past seem to ooze out.

"Admiral, I'll tell you now that I don't tolerate being lied to." Azul said with a smile as he eyed the man, "So lets not resort to any bullshit when we're talking, shall we? Just the facts, as they say..."

"Neither do I, President, so rest assured there will be none of that at this meeting. On to business..East Zenti formally surrendered to us about two days ago, a fact of which I'm sure you're aware. We have an offer for you we believe that is irresistable," The Grand Admiral said, noting the lack of fear in the President. Hell, the President was relaxed.

"We're offering your nation an opportunity for growth. We're offering you the chance to become a Protectorate of the Democratic Sultanate. You'll still govern yourself, you'll still determine your own foreign policy, but we'll come in and repair your nation. We'll give your people jobs, we'll unite East and West Zenti. We'll make sure every Zenti man, woman, and child is fed, clothed, housed, and heated. If anyone attacks your nation, we will bear down on them with the sword of Whyatica." The Grand Admiral said, emphasizing certain words to give them more bearing.

"I have authorization from the Sultan himself to offer your nation whatever you request out of us. If you have any questions, ask them now.."

Azul sat back and pulled out a cigar, lighting it as he thought about all the good things this man promised to his people, along with seemingly those who were loyal to East Zenti. He was no naive child, and knew full well that no nation would just help another unless it somehow helped them, whether financially, militaristically, or perhaps through spreading their own ideals. As far as the President knew, this would bring none of those to the Sultan. He sat for a minute in thought, puffing the cigar thoughtfully.

"Hmm... I must say Admiral, I am disappointed in you..." He said quietly, leaning forward a bit with a devilish smile across his face, "I was not born yesterday, and I know very well that there is something behind what you're saying... What do you really want? If you're doing all of this, you must want something in return, to compensate for the ships and troops lost when you originally took the East... But what?"

He rose an eyebrow, seemingly amused at this General, biting down slightly on the cigar, savoring it. Not only the savor of the tobbaco, but the savor of knowing that he wasn't playing into this man's hand. Sure he could be killed, but he would be sure to take them down with him if it happened. Less than a second and a knife could be flicked across the room from his belt, and lodged into this "so-called" Admiral's neck...

"Hmm..." He muttered again, still smiling.

"I never expected you to accept immediately, just on the initial spiel as it were."

"As far as the Sultan is concerned, East Zenti started the war. As such, we're going to be pillaging the land of it's natural resources, to make up for the cost of the ships and soldiers who died in combat. If you accept and become our Protectorate, we will be establishing factories and other such things in Zenti. Some of the goods produced will go to the mainland Whyatica, while the rest remain in Zenti where they were produced. The Sultan wants to raise our production capacity, truthfully. The only thing we would want out of your nation is a portion of it's production going back to the Whyatican mainland."

Grand Admiral Ali-Khan Samoud noted the pair of knives at the waist of the Zenti President, and unconsciously touched his neck, making sure his Capitol Police-issue armor was raised high enough to protect him from a thrown knife..

"Eh... Well I suppose I'll sign anything relating to that. Theres no reason why not... yet." His voice whispered as he stood up and raised a single hand forward, puffing a cloud of smoke off to the side, "I do not care what you do with Madagascar, but are glad to hear that you only wish for such a minor tribute to you... A bit like buying protection from the local mob, as it were?"

Azul winked knowingly at the Admiral, as he took the man's hand and shook it, using the left hand, as it was not so densely covered in scar tissue. He then stretched out his arms and rolled his shoulders, looking around the room. He'd never been in a Super Dreadnought, though he'd heard of them on the radio...

"So this is a Super Dreadnought I take it? Looks nice... Well, I suppose this is all taken care of."

"Yes," The Grand Admiral said with immense pride,
"This is my ship, the Zealous-class Superdreadnaught Na'ib. She's a real beauty..Produced by Kriegzimmer a few years back, it's fought in four wars and survived with barely a scratch on her paint.."

"Yes, this is all taken care of. If it's alright with you, build crews will arrive sometime this week to begin construction..We're going to rebuild the destroyed areas first, and then work our way inward. All this is paid for by the Democratic Sultanate, of course.. My fleet will remain in Madagascar, and I'm going to station a garrison there to remove any...Pro-Emperor...rebels."

"Well, this is all. The marines will escort you back to your plane.."

Two Marines entered the door, saluted to the Grand Admiral and President, and waited for the President to join them..

OOC: And Zenti sold it's soul to the Devil Jr., and all was good with the world. Thankfully Azul probably has no idea what the Kriegzimmer is. ;)
