History of Skitsojd
Exact records were lost many years ago to war and famine. All we know is that the land was inhabited by 4 Clans or Warriors. Each fighting for dominance. As the clans grew, so did their holdings. Almost all of the land that Skitsojd now Occupies was once a clan holding. Also Each clan name is also the name of the 4 Provinces in the Country. No Clan could gain dominance over the others. But still they fought.
Around the year 1400 A.D. Settlers arrived from other nations. Many of them were refugees seeking refuge. As the immigrants kept arriving so did many influential people. These people tried to get the Clans to stop fighting. Succeeding many times.
Around 1550, the Clans signed a document called "The Charter of the Clans of Skitsojd". Skitsojd was the name for the land from the Immigrants. This formed many of the basic ideas for a united goverment.
On March 23rd, 1601 Skitsojd officialy became a united nation. But there were still many dangers. Rouge Clans still ran amock in the land and they weren't keen on the United Skitsojd. Many a war was a fought against them. It was only in 1743 that they were finally gone.
History has been lost in the years from their to 1802 when Skitsojd officialy became Isolationist. It wasn't until 2005 that it was lifted. During that time there was much Strife and hands of power changed yearly. In 2005 Skitsojd finally and officially became open to the world.
