The Great Journey is almost upon us. The Covenant welcomes all who wish to follow the Forerunner along the path of enlightemment. Do not be blinded by the heresy that surrounds you. Amongst our ranks, the Gods shall grant you peace, prosperity and power. Amongst our ranks, you shall be protected from the evil, despair and war-eternal that envelops our universe.

However, the Gods connot prevent war, which often closley follows the peace that our alliance so willingly creates. Having said this, those joining shall receive full miltary, economic and technological aid from the Covenant. They shall have the power to shape many galaxies to their liking. Not only through shear power, but through their consistent benevolence.

The ideal of true enlightenment shall stand the test of time. Our holy Covenant shall forever be shrouded in the divine light of the Gods, whereas others shall fall and fade into the darkness. Join us brothers; serve the Gods and be eternally rewarded in Their realm. A glorious new era has dawned. May the Prophets be blessed, and may the Gods smile upon you always.

The Covenant is based on a religious order, but religion of any kind is not required or imposed.

We have a few questions about this allience.
1: Are there any requirements to follow any of the religious codes implied in the external contact message?
2: What, if any, are the requirements of a member, provisional member and dispersed member?
3: What, if any, are the benefits of membership, provisional membership and dispersed membership?

You have answered two of our questions, thought the answer to one was somewhat lacking, but you failed to answer the question of: What, if any, are the requirements for each group of member?
Also, we would like clarification of what benefits, in military and economic terms this would bring.

Requirements of all memberships:
Follow laws and constitution found on off-sight boards
Represent the Covenant well (don't disrespect the institution by your actions)
Share military and civil technology freely with members (exceptions for classified tech or that which may cost exuberant amounts of money)
You may be called upon to defend or contribute militarily to the covenant or its members
Post attendance on the boards
Open your boarders to free travel and trade for the Covenant and its members (exceptions for areas you deem strategic or off limits to civilians of your own society)

Benefits of [active] membership:
Military aid in a defensive war (voluntary aid in aggressive acts)
The title 'covenant member'
Free travel within covenant space (provisions above)
Technological exchange
Humanitarian aid
Our gratitude
Non-aggression with other member nations

Ic:
The purpose of joining our Covenant is to forever serve within the divine graces of the Gods; to ensure eternal salvation following the completion of the Great Journey.

Non-religiously, the reason for joining this alliance is to be a part of something more, as with every alliance. If you have not noticed, the galaxy is changing. We strive to be the new order in a universe that has become encrusted with chaos. Join us, and you along with our Covenant shall grow and prosper.

This whole "dispersed member" deal seems to be causing some confusion. How about I change it.

OOC: No, I like the dispersed member thing--I RP my race being very but loosing much of its tech and pop because their system was destroyed they now live in ...ships...kind of.....anyway Since my people are bitter about the loss of their world--the concept of recognition of a usefullness for those dispersed is the whole point I had them respond.

ooc: * I say begin because Kazecis do hold people lesser for their choices. If you do a stupid or evil thing, they view you as lesser. It takes a lot for them to deem a race beyond redemption.

You, Nanic, I shall not consider. You have committed no evil act as far as I know. You are welcome to voice your joining this alliance anytime. It is you that must do all of the considering. Would you be ready to assist your Covenant brethren in a defensive war at a moments notice? Are you ready to put your heart into this alliance, do what it asks of you, ask what you will of it? These are the things that you must consider. Have haste, for you would make wonderful addition to our Covenant.

How did I become a Provisional member....?

In our previous recruitment thread you simply stated that you would consider joining this alliance. You never actually stated that you had joined. Thus, you became a provisional member. We are still awaiting the clarification of whether or not you have joined.

ooc: I belive that not only should we concider Nanc, but that we have and that we have made such fact public by making him provisional. Just for clarification, because "you, Nanc, I shall not concider..." seems like rejection.

Ah, but when you look at the context clues you see that I said I would not consider Nanic because he does not need to be considered. He is already a member in my eyes. He just need to make his decision.
