A small fleet [consisting of 5 inderpendance, 1 atlantis, and 5 sumarta class starships] drops out of hyperspace withing a star cluster of 500 stars and 100 M-class, 200 k-class, 500 a-class, 500-b class, 440 c-class, and 1,000 i, j, or d class. (I have no intrest in maths o im makeing it simple). The ships then proceeded to contact the centeral government about the discovery who sent several thousand emigrents to establish a colony.

OOC: To be honest I would go with 10 M class planets for only 1000 stars, now if it was 500 for say 100 million stars, more believable.

Maybe five M-Class, and some near M(whatever the hell that is.)

The Terrans had hung around the Waterhelper home system for a little while. Their doing so, and the low technology of the people of Waterhelper, made it a simple thing to intercept the transmission, decode it, and prepare a force to ensure that those who had discovered it would be those who kept it. Several Protoss Carrier Groups, and a pair of HevCruRons, backed by 4 Destroyer Flotillas, was dispatched to the area to defend it against all comers.

The Alterans had been sending out exploratory ships for millenia in their prime, and now that they had returned things would be no different. A single ship, sister to the Aurora was sent to the system, with the materials required to create an advanced colony.

It wshard to miss the appearance of any ships in such a small volume of space, and so near to the powerful Terran and Protoss sensors. They knew where it appeared, and when it appeared. They also knew it definitively WAS NOT from Waterhelper. Intervention was required.

The Terrans simply disappeared, without any flashy pseudo-motion, or massive portals, or anything that was readily detectable without Gravitic Sensors. The Protoss were more than making up for it though. The Arbiters broke open their Warp Gates, and the swirling azure gates sucked in the ships, deposting them in the system they were needed in.

Just then another ship came out of hyperspace and a Independence class ship was sent to investigate. The ship brought its reactor to full and its shield to full. It initiated red alert and brought all weapons to ready status.

Slowy from across the sector, Phoenix Militia ships gathered into a mssive formation. 2 Terraforming colony ships and one ultra battleship which was about as big as the colony ships accompianed by nearly 200 other ships. Not to mention the thousands of fighters and shuttles. Along with the colony ships several dozen bison class frieghters and other smaller cargo ships came into formation and the fleet departed at warp 7 to the new system.


"Send a message to this Waterhelper person, and anyone else in the region: we come in peace to start a new colonly in the area and wish to exchange information on diplomatic, trade and mining matters." said the Field Marhsall.
"And attach a note that we will be prepared to respond to any agressors with force."

The Field Marshall then departed to the bridge of his commandship and awaited news of the colonist's arrival.

The Domatavus gracefully moved into orbit around a suitable world, and several of the ships known to most as 'puddle jumpers' slid out of a bay at the bottom, and moved to land on the planet. 24 Heavy Cruisers, 200 Strike Cruisers, 30 Arbiter, 100 Carriers, and 64 Destroyers unleashed their energy batteries on the enemy, as the vasrious Missile weapons of the Task Force acquired their locks. The carriers scrambled all 80,000 of their tiny Interceptors, and sent them speeding through space towards the enemy.

Premission is granted. Also i have taken the liberty of deviding this find into twentey sectors that each have a equal ammount of recourses in them. (Its artificial so they all have the same system composition as it was made out of the same nebula.... think of the genesis wave just that its stable) Each Nation (or empire/ republic/etc) will get 25 systems, 5 m-class, 10 k-class, 25 a-class, 25 b- class, 22 c- class, and 50 i, j, or D class (wild card but they are about all (gas giants last i checked) planets.

The one of the Explorationary Fleets soon arrived. The fleet consisted of 10 Corrilian Class Missile attack ship called the tyranny Ender*, 50 Corrilian class battle cruisrers called The Endless**, and 90 Corrilian class support ships called "The Capicorns"*** . the fleet was small but well armed as where all Hobbeebian Exploration fleets.

The officer in charge of the Alteran colony was looking over sensor readings, equipment report sand other such items of interest when he saw something. He walked over to one of the other officers, and whispered to him. The officer nodded.

"Good. Open a channel to the Domatavus."

"Comms ready."

"Domatavus, this is the colony. Interesting readings, Admiral. We have located a Stargate on one of the colony worlds recently set up. We have yet to determine the adress, but we are working on it."

"Excellent."

"I wouldn't reccomend sending anyone through. If the readings are right, then there's a physical object blocking reintegration of the matter stream."

"Okay. I'll inform Atlantis and Vis Uban, and we'll see what we'll do."

The Hobbeebian fleet slowly made its way to the sector it was given and began to land pods on the planets to begin to set up Dime-jump gates. Gate that are similar to star gates but much more effeciant(SP).

One by one the pods fell down and locked into the ground below. Soldiers and scientist poured out and began to take readings and scans. As the " geeks" did thier jobs the " Jarheads" did thiers setting up the Dime-jump gates.

But not everything went smooth....

The Terrans had set up mining stations on a dozen worlds now, and more forces would be needed to ensure that no "piracy" occured. 5 more Carrier Groups were brought in, more mobile and maneuverable than the Terran vessels, they were also more TACTICALLY flexible, not being reliant on the Wall of Battle that typified Terran ship to ship actions, sure, they were more vulnerable without the Impeller Wedges, but it was considered worth it in the long run.

Opening ANY Dimensional gate modifies the real space wall! That's what modifying the real space wall is DEFINED as. If you want to use Water references, then the Real Space wall under my FTLi would be a slab of solid ice, meaning you "oil" jus slides off.

Its more like ceasing to exist in this reality type of exiting. Now it can be stopped by Gobular's inhabitor he made it with the sole purpose of stopping Dime-jumps. and since there are vry few dime-users its not widely used.

It's still going to be stopped. If you can't open the gate(which requires the real space modification) then you can't cease to exist in this reality.

I really dont care if you do. I wasn't trying to have an unstoppable travel system. And th way you FTLi works if should stop us...

The first colony was quickly set up and automated mining posts were set up on other worlds. Recources began to flow in to waterhelper and for the first time in decades they were no longer restricted by the ammount of supplies. More effort was put into recearch and new technologies were being developed.

The colony's commander had been impatiently waiting for the response from Vis Uban for hours. When it finally arrived, he grinned. He had the address for the Waterhelper gate.

"The authorities of Vis Uban pulled thier collective fingers out and searched the database. We have an address for the stargate currently in foreign hands in this system. Get dialling, people!"

Soon the familiar sight of the unstable wormhole was seen, quickly stabilising into something safe. The Alterans sent a message through.

The dime-gates where active, all except one. This one was malfunctioning. a very rare thing to happen with Hobbeebian Dime-tech. But after some work the gate was opened and soon colonist began to inhabit the planets. COnstruction crews and other teams began to work on city structures and city systems to make the planet more livable. But the same DIme gate began to malfunction again. This time a group of Colonist where lost somewhere in the 40th Dimension. Soon the gate began to show signs of degeneration of dimenional stability. The gate began to pulse and soon exploded. The explosion cuased the planet to split in two. But the two side stayed close and the atmoshpere was not breached.

as the gate activated the iris closed and the defence team readied their weapons.

I am not agreeing with him because I possess this type of tech, but because I have read extensively over the past 18+ months upon the subject and I have developed a view of the dimensions where your wall would not affect (at least not in my drives). I am not sure how Hobbeebia’s works.

If the method you described worked, it would disrupt the natural flow of energy throughout the dimensional structure, resulting in a nasty effect upon your barrier. Think of a dam breaking under the floodwaters…of a type VI hurricane. The results would not only be catastrophic to your nation, but also to the entire star cluster.

Now about my Dime-gate explosion. The dime gates have a very limited dime-phase ability, which means we have very little energy in use from the dimensioanl areas. So the explosion was "small". Now If my Large spacecraft had a malfunction it would have sucked for everyone...

OOC: The range, depending on the size and number of ships involved, is a minimum of one light minute for a DD, and up to an entire system for a Task Fleet or Carrier Group. The only reason my FTLi is made that way is to force people to stand and fight, it's not designed to be "workable" and it's designed specifically to stop "unstoppable" FTL drives, which I feel are bad RP. No offense Bal, but why have something that can't be beaten?

Vis Uban Gatebuster Site

Technicians scurried around the central obelisk of the gate buster device. Preparations were evidently being made. the city was at a heightened state of alert with the impending war on SeaQuest, but the news from Domatavus had caused even more activity. The threats by Mini Miehm had caused much alarm. One of the technicians, a tall white-haired Alteran, was standing around, talking to one of the military officers assigned to the gate buster site.

"Commander, with all due respect the actual owners of the gate have shown no hostility."

"The people who claim to represent their sovereignty have made direct threats to the Domatavus. Prepare to cloak the site and activate the device at any moment."

Three Alterans clad in the standard white military uniform stepped through the gate. One carried a data pad. Their holsters were visibly empty, but each one carried a small beacon on their left arm.

as they saw the dignaaries had no weapons a order came out "All defence teams stand down" and a trained diplomat came up. "Please this way" *He points to a prefabricated facility*

The lead Alteran bowed to the diplomat, and followed.

"We are most excited to come into contact with one of the races who has found our technology at such an... Early stage of technological development. Fascinating."

The entire Alteran diplomatic team was looking around them, as an archaeologist studies a roman artifact.

"Yes well so far we only have 100 addresses due to radom dialing and finding of adresses. We are hoping the ruins here will provide more." *They enter the building* "Wellcome to Government center three"

The lead Alteran spoke again.

"We were hoping you would say something like that. This datapad contains roughly 500 adresses leading to worlds rich in resources, and worlds with friendly or underdeveloped races inhabiting them. It was rather out of the way, and weakly defended, so an entire Company of ACS was stationed there. The 1st Imperial Tactical Fleet enters the designated area with several colony ships. They quickly set up colonies on the central habatable world.

Everything was business as usual in the quickly crowding system. However what was not business as usual was the sudden appearance of over 50 DoD jumps. Prefecture of Tannelorn ships did not often range this far away from Sol. However it was a little know fact explorator detachments were often seen as far out as the edge of the spiral arm in looking for new homes to solve the massive overcrowding problems faced in the asteroid belt and on mars. Already they had claimed one system with three habitable worlds.

This was an opportunity too good to pass up. 50 of the 500 meter long cruisers of the Prefecture glided in through the tears in reality. They made haste for a distant gas giant. They had detected three habitable worlds. Enough to transfer almost 600 million tannelornians according to prefecture overcrowding protocols. Still this was a pin prick. City asteroids designed to accomodate no more then ten thousand often had to accomodate up to 40 000 citizens. It was becoming a nightmare. Cut off from Divine mars due to the arrogance of the king they had to do whatever it took to ensure their survival..and their liebenstraum.

The long angled vessels moved in to position over the planet...forming up in wide pickets as they launched Morgenreate high maneuver frames to screen them from any potential threats. Each vessel produced almost as much power output as a small sun. It was needed to power the massive expenditures due to the phased armour, and massively powerful energy weapons famed of the Prefecture fleet. Perhaps the best energy weapons in the Sol system.

Anyone watching would notice an intense amount of activity around the massive jovian planet..centered around its moons but not entirely restricted to them. A single broadcast was transmitted to the other denizens of this system.

Do not approach within 6 million kilometers of New Carpentaria, any vessels caught within this exclusion zone without extenuating circumstance will be warned away, boarded or even destroyed depending on the level of resistance. Stay out of our way.

The energy weapons shuddered against the sidewalls as they powerful stressed gravity warped and twisted it into new shapes, but some few bolts blasted through the sidewalls, perfectly directed and more powerful than the rest, gouging chunks of tough armor out of the ships, sending chunks of plating out of the ships hulls into space. Burst Lasers ripped back in return, light turrets tracked the enemy fighters in great numbers, while more Yamato Blasts and heavy Burst Lasers targeted the enemy Hive Ship.

Back on the Terran Colony:

The Stargate Dialed, it had the address of the world claimed by Waterhelper, and the entire ACS company was drawn up in ranks before the gate, ready to pour through and add their weight to the close in defense of the colony.

the last remaining vehicals wer at the gate and they aimed at it when the iris wouldn't close. They got a transmission from TDoMM and they let them through

The Dart's made sweeping runs against the Terran forces; lashing out with energy weapons and culling beams; intent on taking as many as they could. The hunger swelled, it festered and grew...The Queen had given her commands; twofold. They were the first part of it; even as the Hiveship began to move off; maintaining steady fire at it's foes; even as it shuddered and shook with impact.

A group of warriors had appeared; intent on fighting their way to the Gate; as above them, Dart's dove in suicidal runs against their foes; others intent on accessing the gate; on going through it...To find what lay on the other side...

Every ACS Trooper touched by one of the energy weapons was destroyed, but for evey one that died, they unleashed hundreds of thousands of Grav-Gun rounds into the air, reaching out at .3c to tag the Darts flying above, several Troopers were taken under the Culling Beams, but many more fought on, a single Reaper Fire Team broke off from the fight againstthe Darts to cover the Gate. They were low on ammo, but they were heavily armored, and had enough firepowr in each shot to gut most enemies they would face on the ground.

"What do you want? Thing? You are no Ghost or Templar to invade my thoughts. What do you WANT?"

The ACS were tough, the stunners were powerful, but bolt after bolt slammed home against their thick armor to no effect, they were designed to take all the worst that a powerful nuclear device could throw t them, and remain fully active. They fought on, taking loss after loss, but still dealing out as much damage as they could. Hundreds of thousands of DU Teardrops lashed out at their foes, they were dying, but the Wraiths would know that they had met the Terrans.

Around the Gate the fire team was hard pressed, millions of monomolecular flechettes flashed from their guns, enough to shatter any advancing host, and yet the Wraiths came on, flesh shredding under their assault to close again and rise anew to fight... They used their grenades a dozen times, blasting at the enemy with anti-matter and iridium casings, another Trooper managed to bring their only Terrawatt laser in to play for a moment, until he fired it one time too many, overloading the safeties on the lasing cavity, and detonating the system in a trememndous blast that sent the remaining Troopers flying in all directions, all except the pair at the gate, they had backed against the mysterious sunbstance that held against most any assault, and were nearly crushed by the gees they experienced, their weapons were swept away on a wavefront of destruction, but when the smoke cleared, there were still two critically damaged suits bracketing the gate, drawing their palmate blades to hold as best they could against the unending assault...

We are more then willing to be friendly..but not until we have what we need. 5.6 billion people in tannelorn. and right now we have massive overcrowding going on. These three planets and the gas giant can support 700 million Tannelornians, so far with this system and another we discovered and claimed for ourselves, we have about space for 1.4 bil. we still need to offload easily another 1.4 bil to reach the overcrowding goals heh. My country is crowded in to a small section of the Asteroid field right now, and the asteroid field itself has enough mass to make a small planet maybe half the size of mars. See the dilemma haha. The next day:

A single ship Emerged from T-Space. The 200 meter Torpedo Class frigate faded into existence as it left the 7th dimension and solidified in Real Space. The ship’s torpedo tubes were closed and the ship stopped on the edge of the system.

as the order went out the nanites left and went dorment immune to any form of shocking as their powercore is entirely senperated from the rest of the unit. 5 Yamato Blasts seared through space, enough to shatter a pair of ISDs, and cripple a third, while Burst Lasers, Terrawatt range blasts of coherent light, hammered at their shields. Plasma flew through space at such short ranges that there was effectively no time to react, and a second Yamato shot quickly followed the first volley as the ships turned to face the enemty again. They were too numerous for the enemy to possibly win.

40,000- Robot Interceptors chased after the Alteran Drones, unleashing Plasma and swarming, hundreds to each enemy.

A reply was sent to the Balroggan vessels as they approached, as well as a flight path to a small staging point where the Lord of the fleet was orchestrating the operation. As the Balroggan ship neared the Prefecture perimeter it was met by two Sword cruisers. 500 meters long and producing the power output of a small sun the sword was a fearsome sign. The barrels and nodes of its massed ranks of incredibly powerful energy weapons glinted off the far light of the sun.

Most nations couldn't support even 10 ISDs, but there are nations with fleets that are thousands strong. My fleets are SMALL in comparison to some. I'd also like to know why you think Carriers are ruinously expensive to build and maintain. They're relatively cheap when compared to most ships on NS, same goes for BCs and my other ships. ISDs cost billions of dollars. Carriers can be put together, without any workforce, using only raw materials, in a month or so.

If I don't know the requirements for yours, you can't know them for mine. Turnabout is fair play you know. But, if your ships are as large as they sdound, they should have crews in the thousands or tens of thousands. AT LEAST.

ooc ok mini Sorry to say you have ALOT to fear. The nukes are not trying to hurt you..they jam sensors. And its not megaton range, thats the catalyst for a laser that matches the power output of a gamma ray burst from a black hole. Seriously my defense force is 349 in the world all fleet all rp'd since feb 2003. Did i mention my fleet isnt thousands either. I have refined these weapons over 150 years and stolen tech from races over 65 million years old who specialised in laser to refine it further. This is a one hit one kill weapon on people i RP with. Think of it as a gravitic compression weapon. With a different mode of power transmission.

The Protoss ships had ignored the warning shot. They kept moving..ranging to 2 million kilometers. This time when the PBS system moved allowing the shot, they aimed for the protoss vessels. Tannelornian's were excellent shots. Each one bred for his or her purpose, each one modified again and again till they were a perfect living instrument. Massive bolts of energy lanced out from the vessels. A devastating rain of death, precise and powerful enough punch a 50 x 50 meter hole through the best of armour.

Hope fully when a large number of the Protoss vessels vanished in a plume of fire, they would be far more willing to negotiate.

using the adgard transporter, nanobots were layed down as a mine field if they tried to escape into hyperspace they would attach to them in the time that they had to lower their sheilds. With this method any escaping ship would be made into more useful nanobots that would overwhelm them.

You seem to forget that we have beaming technology. We know that you cannot beam through sheilds, and if you lower them then you die from nanobots.

The FTLi dropped, Warp Gates opened, and all just moments too slow to stop the first salvo, but the second would fly through the gates, and be quickly returned back to their fireres, too close for any dodging to occur.

The middle of the battle:

A single Vengeance Destroyer faded into existence as it Emerged from T-Space in the middle of the battlezone.

“Target the nearest moon with the Cutters. Let’s show them what we can do.”

The destroyer targeted one of the forward Cutters on the nearest moon. A purple energy beam shot outwards, aimed just above the horizon of the moonlet. With a sweeping motion, the beam was swung downwards. The purple beam struck the surface of the moonlet and carried out the back. As it swept downwards, it began to cleave the little moon in twain. Rubble flew away from the incision as the beam traveled through the wounded satellite. As it reached the bottom, it broke free of the moonlet and the beam remained unbroken, shining eerily in the dark of space. The two halves of the moonlet slowly drifted, held together by their gravitational pull.

Arcturus Ascendant arrived in the system, it's hyperspace window disguised as a plasma storm by the venting of the conduits and the timely usage of some of the weapons, coupled by the activation of the cloak. It quickly moved to a position that would allow it to quickly launch a puddlejumper to board a Wraith Hiveship.

Arcturus Ascendant Flight Deck

Two squads of Alteran troops, armed to the teeth and armoured like tanks, had gathered by a pair of puddle jumpers. They were obviously discussing thier upcoming mission. Most of them were shifting about nervously, adjusting the settings of their rifles (larger versions of the hand weapons seen in Aurora) to make sure they would stun rather than kill their target.

"Our job today is to capture a single Wraith specimen. It doesn't matter what kind it is, though we've been told that command would prefer one unmasked. You'll be going in cloaked, and going out hot. One puddle jumper will hold position outside the bay doors of the Hiveship, whilst a team plants explosives around the edges. Squad two's jumper will fly in during the chaos and nab us a Wraith. We'll keep it sedated and take it to the brig, at which point the techs have to take responsibility for it. Any questions?"

The troops boarded their jumpers, which immediately cloaked, and flew toward one of the dart bays of the Hiveship.

A single Alteran trooper floated silently through space toward the edge of the dart bay, carrying a deadly package. With infinite care, he attatched a small, box-like object to the hull, and pressed a few buttons. When he turned, he was visibly flustered, in a hurry to return to his ship.

On a masked frequency, the jumper he returned to broadcasted a signal. If it had been intercepted, it would have sounded like a clear, high-pitched note. It had a definate purpose.

The small object attatched to the hull exploded with the force of a supernova contained in a 50 meter radius, showering the area around the explosion with plasma. The second cloaked jumper moved into the dart bay, it's nervous cargo whincing every time they got close to a dart. Eventually, they spotted a large group of wraith.

"We've been rumbled. Crap. Pilot, set us down behind them and lower the ramp. Close of the cockpit. Don't decloak. Get ready boys, we're going to get shot at. A lot."

The jumper landed a hundred meters behind the Wraith, and lowered the ramp. The troops rushed out, opening fired immediately.

The Male hissed, indicating; his entourage opening fire at the advancing Alterans; he roared, watching them come; his rage building, growing; even as more soldiers rushed forth; their weapons firing in a near constant stream of blasts of energy; enough to incapacitate their old enemies. One had rushed forward, eager to fight; before a blast to the leg had torn him down; weakened him; forcing him to his knees; disorientated before the Male's hand had slammed into his chest, lifting him; feeding upon him, this one, these ones...Somehow sweeter than any other feast. He held him aloft; watching the Alterans.

"Wretched cattle; foolish little beasts! You only hasten your own demise by Angering us!" He watched it age; felt life and strength nourish him; before tossing the shrivelled; dry carcass towards them. "You should kneel before our ravenous hordes; you should bow before us, you should-" -COWER!

The team stopped firing momentarily, aghast at their comrade being caught and consumed by an enemy they had an instinctive fear of. The commander of the team frowned, firing a short burst at the male Wraith. He tapped his comm device.

"Jumper one, drone strike. I want a drone to smash into those Wraith, but don't detonate it in the group! We appear to havea commander here!"

The jumper containing the explosives expert flew behind the melee, and breifly deloaked to fire a drone. The explosive core had been removed. This was intended to crush bones and shatter limbs. Once the drone was in the air, the jumper cloaked again, dearing the wrath of the screaming darts.

Dart's assaulted the Puddle-Jumper with random abandon; weapons howling; in the bay, one of the Dart's activated, firing it's culling beam at the advancing Alteran assault; even as the Male advanced, implacable; eletric fire whizzing about him, as he back-handed another Marine into a wall; hand pausing to crush his skull against the dark material of the Wraith vessel; hissing, snarling; the animal almost entirely in control of him...This was how it should be; they should run; they should die...

The Drone whizzed by; assaulting the guards; tearing some apart; he paid little attention until the Alteran blast tore into him, driving him back; he moved again, as though daring them to go on; another blast, driving him down; and then, trying to rise, feeding hand straining against the floor; he was going into spasm...It was growing Dark.

Then nothing.

The second puddlejumper was hit in the rear, blasting off the hatch and sending it spinning into the wall of the dary bart, exploding in a shower of metal and glass. Three men fell to the culling beam, disappearing until they would be consumed. Six were left. As the target was stunned, the commanding officer of the unit knew he had few options.

"Retreat! Drag the bastard into the jumper! Jumper, this is Unit one. Fire a drone, right into the middle of them. Explosive, this time! None of that precision weapon crap now!"

The troops retreated, two of them dragging the Wraith, two more dragging the fallen marine the Wraith beat to death, the others gave covering fire with their rifles, now set to kill.

The glowing squid-like form of a drone appeared, as if from nowhere, and flew, aiming straight for the centre of the Wraith troops...

The drone detonated; sending Wraith flying in all directions; torn, bloodied, hissing and bleeding and dieing...A dart lay in ruins; the entire docking bay seemed aflame.

Deploy them ALL

The Queen's psychic bellow tore through every single mind as countless darts surged forth; the Cruiser's turning their guns against the Alteran vessels. Weapons fire crackling across the void as the audient fury of the Wraith became wholely and totally manifest.

"Order your Lord to engage them; destroy them...Utterly."

Decloaking, the Arcturus Ascendant covered the retreat of the Puddle Jumper, extending its shielding over the small ship, creating a slightly weakened salient. The hyperdrive was ready to go at a moment's notice.

The mighty energies of the Arcturus generator were channleled out by the energy cannons of the battleship. The Rays of destructive energy pierced the space they passed through, leaving a trail of virtual particles that created masses of hard radiation upon hitting shields.

More puddlejumpers were launched, remote controlled from the command deck of the Arcturus, decoys to draw the attention of the Wraith ship.

The Wraith ship shook, but lashed out in retaliation; ignoring the Puddle-Jumper's; focussing on crushing the Ancients. They had had the audacity to assault the Hive; to violate the Hive; and now they would pay! They might not match them in terms of technology; but they had numbers...They had allies; they had brethern now who would fight, or could fight for them; with them...Undo this arrogant race. Did they not see that they were but one fraction of a distant whole?

A lone and baddly dameged Tigerlanain Empirail 3 star destroyer compleates its blind jump after an unknown enemy ambush, barraly escaping with thier lives.

Hypopheralcus looked at the main screen. The flashes and explosions of the bombardment almost hypnotised him, making him powerless to move for a second.

The Arcturus opened a hyperspace window and left the system, leaving the puddle jumpers it deployed motionless, without direction.

An icy planet sitting in the dark void of the newly discovered star cluster. An average size world with very little life and little significant value. Then, a ship of gargantuan size appears out of hyperspace. A Dark black ship with a triangle surface to it, a huge gun protruding the tip of the behemoth. A structure that looks like a flight of stairs climbing toward a tower. This tower the bridge of this ship, the Eclipse Class Super Star Destroyer Black Death, commanded by an experienced and stern Admiral by the name of Aleksander Kra'Dem. The Admiral look out onto the icy planet as the Captain approched him with a datapad for a report.

"Admiral the rest of the fleet should be arriving from hyperspace any second now"

Admiral Kra'dem replied, "Good Captain, send probe droids down onto the surface of that world and report back any finds you have uncovered"

Captain Ulgand, "Yes Admiral", salutes the Admiral and does an about face.

Kra'Dem looked out to the horizon as he sees the expeditionary fleet come out of hyperspace. 16 Imperator III Star Destroyers, 30 Victory II Star Destroyers, 2 Modular Taskforce Cruisers, 5 Strike Class Cruisers, 34 Lancers Frigates, and 2 Carrack Frigates and the Executor Class Super Stardestroyer.

"Sir we found something, an unusual element 30 times more powerful than uranium and we have found sources of titanium, yttebrium, iron, and other carbon substances."

Kra'Dem looked at the datapad interested in the mystery element. What power can it have and what is its applications?, he thought.

"This is interesting, Captain. Establish a base onto the site of the element. I want the research scientist to discover and test the nature of this element. We shall name it element X for now. Now for the continuation of this mission, send out the Carracks to do recon work of this system and alert me of hospitable planets."

Captain Ulgand replied, " Yes Admiral Kra'Dem it shall be done. Oh I almost forgot sir. We have recieved a sort of weak distress signal coming from a sector thats 153 Light years away. But we have no reports of another expeditionary force in this region and it could be a radio wave of a nearby Quasar."

A distress signal, thought the experienced Admiral, hmm how strange. "Redirect a Carrack to this area to investigate this disturbance and I want it to keep a low profile"

Captain Ulgand saluted the admiral and returned to his station giving orders to his subordinates.

Admiral Kra'Dem looks back at the horizon. A strange turn of events a mystery element that could power a shield generator indefinitely and a distress signal from an Imperial Star Destroyer that could be a fake. I better tread carefully.

As you can tell from the title, this is a colonization thread. Waterhelper discovered the Cluster and divided it into 20 territories for nations to colonize. Tannelorn and I are acting together to police the star cluster so it will remain peaceful.

Tannelorn has been around so long and RP'd its fleet so extensively it can call cardboard..i never do but just letting you know what your up against if you really wanna keep fighting in a system where there isnt supposed to be fighting haha. Oh and think oif Loengren as a turreted much more powerful yamato, and ingelstung as simple a much more powerful Yamato. The focused power of a sun with the best Laser lenses available to any race, is not to be trifled with. The beam lasts long enough to blow straight through shields. You have to avoid it, which is easy once we hit the 1 mil km mark, which we are about to after this volley.

First a large wave of the phenomenal Morgenreate fighters closed with their prey, massive bombardments of smaller nuclear missiles aiming to clear the sky of pesky drones. It seemed the Terran ships were the most arrogant in attempting to ignore the enforcement order. No matter. They would not last long if they kept up the battle. It didnt matter though..the Tannelornian captains were itching for a fight. The enemy used many technologies abandoned by Tannelorn, mainly black hole compressor systems, considered far too dangerous to use, and not that much more powerful then refined antimatter drives. They continued to move on in to range for the heavy X ray laser turrets mounted above and below ships, still firing the distracting stream of nuclear weapons. They lined up again and fired, targetting the communist vessels with Loengren fire now, while remaining locked on to the the Terran vessels with their mighty ingelstung. So now to finish the war and make this an actual colonisation thread again >:)

Captain Ulgand turned to the Lieutenant and gave the orders. Ulgand then went back to work on the mystery element.

A huge fireball erupts on the expansive snowy plains of the planet. An explosion big enough to destroy a nation and its height being in orbit charring the atmosphere. Capable of giving a person with 3rd Degree burns 100 miles away from the blast radius even with the planet's subzero temperatures. The test was a complete success as there was a tremendous amount of data gathered from this test. Since the discovery of Element X, as Admiral Kra'Dem called it temporarily, the researchers at the base have been marveling at the elements extreme power amount. The size of Element X explosive device used for this test was the size of a marble and the method of explosion was fission-fusion, similar to the Tsar Bomb during the 1st Cold War Era on Earth. So far the researchers have discovered that the vein contains about 267,918 Megatons and so far they have carefully extracted 1.268 Mts afraid that one mistake or chip will set off a chain reaction as they don't know the true applications of the element yet. Captain Ulgand watched in amazement of the nature of the blast out his viewport in his quarters. He put on his tunic and uniform and rushed towards the bridge. He was in such a hurry that he bumped and knocked down a couple technicians. After a short turbolift ride he finally got to the bridge when his subordinate Lieutenant Talrund gave him the report of the test results. The Half-life of the element, after it has gone through the nuclear reaction, must be quick only a few seconds. The land is completely hospitable."

Ulgand replied,"The power of the element at a good amount the size of a bowling ball could provide enough power for this ship for the next 7 millenia. Broadly speaking if we can safely extract Element X and refine it we could power countless worlds."

Kra'Dem looked in disbelief as he stared into the datapad. A power source thats not only powerful but cheap. The IUCG High Command would be pleased of this discovery and perhaps a colony and even a IUCG Naval Base can be stationed here. The military applications of Element X are also phenominal.

A VERY small task group indeed, especially when dealing with 2 systems... They would deal with one first, and see what happened, if the unknowns were obstinate, or in overwhelming strength, they would maintain their positions, and wait for backup.

OOC: If Dovin Basals were utilised properly, they can not only porevent me from going into hyper with terran ships, they can also break through my shields(shown in the Talaaxian Civil War). If you knew ANYTHING about the modifications I've made, and WHY I've made them, things might make a BIT more sense. Suffice it to say that when I went about making my FT nation, I worked from the premise of using SC Tech, and then I modified and upgunned it to best fight the all too common Star Wars ISD Cookie Cutter Fleets. For example, if you've ever read Honorverse Books, I use the Impeller Wedge as my "shields", making my ships VERY hard to tag.

Meanwhile back on the ship Captain Ulgand was overseeing operations for the time being."Captain Ulgand..." a Lieutenant called out "sir we have an incoming message. It seems it is from Imperial High Command."

Captain Ulgand,"Patch it through."

The Lieutenant replied,"Yes sir."

An Imperial message out here? thought Ulgand. What could they possibly order?

At the advent of this new element we are very interested. The power this element can produce far outweighs importance and the proctection of it by an Expeditionary fleet. We will send 50 Star Destroyers 100 Victory Class Star Destroyers 1000 Lancer Frigates 50 Carrack Cruisers 5 Executor Class Star Destroyers with 3 more Eclipses. The fleet should arrive by the time of this message. This is a good find Aleksander and for this great achievement I am promoting you to Grand Admiral.

Tigerlanian strike teams land on the planets nearest to the fleets position, reporting that all planets are safe and are ready for the research teams.

The resurch teams land on the planet along with the preconstructed bases deployed from obit.

Admiral Kra'Dem read the datapad and was surprised. He had been promoted to Grand Admiral. Grand Admiral had a nice ring to it but this not gave the experienced officer an alter ego.

Grand Admiral Kra'Dem then when he was about to turn his attention towards the delegation the head of security spoke ti him,"Sir may I have a word with you."

Kra'Dem nodded."What is it major?"

"Sir our scanners in the conference room have picked up the Delegate from Waterhelper bugging our computer system. It seems they are using a form of nano probe technology."

Kra'Dem replied,"It seems that these delegates distrust us. Let prove them wrong and earn their trust. Well in any case try to remove the nano probes from our computers."

The Grand Admiral then headed for the conference room and spoke to the delegation."It would seem that there is a general distrust among us. Your nano technology is very impressive so I propose a deal. We will 'give' the information and perhaps a megaton of Element X if you agree to share your nano technology. We could even perhaps consider an alliance of sorts."

"I doubt that you would remove them they are heilded from EMP (by the faraday cage) and can eat your computers well..." he takes out a device and recalls all the nanobots. "Also there are only a few minerals that can be that powerful: one naquadah, and two tiberium. Our home system and they systems in this cluster are abundant with both we jus dont have the ability to harness it to its full potential. However the nanoproes are our only form of defence against larger ships becuase of their ability to eat ships and absorb most energy weapons. Observe."
*he spills the nanobots on the floor. Then he shoots it with his watch. (like in james bond) they stop for a second then move again.*

The tech issued commands to the AI and the area underneath the ships began to glow as the Avatars were assembled. Within a few minutes, fully operative 1 /10th scale versions of the ships were ready to send into battle.

“The Avatars are ready. Control is being transferred.”

“OK, send them into battle.”

“Open a Comm line and relay it through the Avatars once they Emerge.”



Battlefield:

Suddenly a number of small ships materialized as they Emerged into Real Space. The Battlegroup consisted of several Destroyers, Battleships, Carriers and Frigates of every type the Empire used. The 1st Imperial Task Force had arrived.

Far away from the battle site that was rapidly developing, the Zeji Armada had become active, and their Flagship, the Black Dream, was already fully crewed with Zeji Clones, all that was necessary was for Kabala to embark, and they would be here in hours.

By the time any battle began, Kabala and his Black Dream would be well on their way to the new colonies.

The Tigerlanian Oblitherater Star(the only one in existanance) unclouks in the between the fleet and the 3 planets emmiting an EMP feild dissabling anything not emmiting a Tigerlanian ID signell. The Oblitherator has a sheild powerd by Lavarium and Tiberium fusion(try and brake through that without a sample of Lavarium to decode its shield signature) The only Known Lavarium is on thies three planets due to an odd effect on the elements on thies planets coused by the three orbits being so close together along with the abunduncy of Lava in a Zub-zero tempritures( a unieqe planet indeed, that is why tigerlan wants to resurche it).

OOC: He may not be able to, but I, Bal, or Tannelorn CERTAINLY can. With my emphasis on my SW Killing tech, you'll be overrun by a single Terran Task Fleet with ease. 2 shots from a Yamato to an ISD3. 10 shots from a Yamato for an Eclipse or Executor. And each fleet flagship has 60 Yamatos.(can only fire about half at once, but still...)
