The picture fuzzed several times and tilted diagonally both ways as someone adjusted the camera. A voice with an odd combined accent of English and German spoke from behind the recording device as it was moved. “Almost got it, sir, I just need to…there.” The final word was uttered with some degree of satisfaction as the camera finally settled into position and the picture fuzzed once more before clearing. A man stood before the camera in a completely white uniform, with a white balaclava on his face. A grey SHM gas mask of Russian origin hung from line around the man’s neck, and slung over one shoulder was an aged Johnson M1941 semi-automatic rifle. In a white holster on his side was a large knife. Flanked either side of him were two men similarly dressed and holding a pair of AK-47s firmly in their white-gloved hands. Behind the three men was a large white flag with a gold cross adorned upon a red background around the cross.

The man in the centre smiled through the balaclava. “Good evening, people of the world,” he spoke in perfectly accentuated Oxford English. “My name is Christian Bell, and I am sending this message to the nations of the world to announce my position on international politics.”

He paused momentarily, stepping forward towards the camera to reveal a table in the foreground with a map of the world. “The people of the world are numerous and diverse in nature,” he said, leaning on the table. “Many areas of the world are based on multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-economic theories of state.” He moved his hands over the map gently, as if stroking the lines of the borders and nations, caressing the rivers and mountains. “To put it bluntly, multi-impure.” With one hand, he pulled the knife from his holster and stabbed it downwards into the map with force enough to impale the knife in the table. There was a silence that echoed through the room after the thunder of the knife impact

Taking a breath to calm himself from his obvious rage, the man then looked back up to the camera. “My view on this is clear; the book is in agreement with me.” Reaching into his pocket, he produced a small Bible, opened it at a pre-prepared place and began to read. “Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him. Deuteronomy 13:13-19.”

He turned again to another page and smiled. “Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. Exodus 22:19.”

He looked up from the book. “My philosophy is simple; a return to the old ways of the Lord and an end to the impure influences of the world by other forces.”

Christian cleared his throat. “The Soldiers of Christ have come to power in a small nation of the world, and have met a warm welcome by the god-fearing, sensible population of this country. Now that the Soldiers of Christ are installed as the correct and proper government of this nation as the spokespeople of God, we now implore other nations to follow our lead. We have thousands of followers in order to die for Christ and our message, and we will prevail in our mission for total Christian control of the world.”

Christian turned to the flag and put a hand to his heart reverently. “Onward, Christian Soldiers!” The two men near the back of the room raised their AK rifles into the air and fired with supreme zeal.

York leaned back in his chair after hearing the announcement. He had ordered to also be informed when Christian nations or even radical Christian terrorists spoke to the world, simply to see if they were insane like most of them were or if some of them could be of some benefit to the Trinity Empire. These 'Soldiers of Christ' were hypocrites, clearly not true Christians has Jesus said to love thy neighbors and love thy enemies. The ideal of 'An Eye for an Eye' was flawed when Jesus said "An Eye for an Eye, and the World goes Blind". Then again, York saw their potential. Their usefulness. If properly directly could actually benefit the Trinity Empire.

They would spark Christian revolutions in far off countries, or destablize future enemies. Prehaps they could be of some use. With that he grabbed a paper and pen and began to write Jagada's response.

Religion is the opiate of the masses. No more than a celestial teapot orbiting the galactic center. We can't disprove it, so we must believe in it? Absurd. Emperor Constantine saw the video and called an assembly of the parliment in order to decide what should be done. Although The Holy Empire of St Gregorie was not very big. A population of only 5 million it had a strong and very stable economy. The people had many freedoms, and the country itself was in a golden age. They were at the height of social, economic, and spiritual prosperity. The country had a powerful military for its size and an emerging space programme.

The country was also 100% orthodox christian and only orthodox christians were given citizenship. They followed they ways of christ and the messege of the soldiers of christ was very hyporcitical in their opinion. Although the people, the government and the emperor did not agree with their views and wished to stay neutral they decided they would have to offer at least some help to their Christian brothers.
