----Yurka City II, Embassy district-----

Wai Jung sat at his station inside of the secure ASIA inteligence room of the Ato-Saran Embassy. His job was to analyse incoming infomation from the local intelligence network as well as keeping an eye on the only person inferior to him in this station's hierarchy.
That person sat beside him now hooked up via cables trailing from a metallic bracelet and earings to a long stream of infomation that she was grading and sorting. This was pretty much all she did apart from occasionally encrypting messages to near unbreakablity.
Her proper name was Yanpei-M0967 SAU, Wai though this was stupid, she looked human (Albeit with green hair) and at least when not addressing Mr Gaosama or any of the other senior embassy staff, she talked like a normal human as well, so she might as well be given a proper name.
During his first week at the embassy Wai had asked Mr Gaosama about this and had been met with a stoney stare. Still unpeturbed by this Wai took to calling her Pei which was in his opnion much better than just "Android" as Mr Gaosama called her.

Wai continued to shift through the ifomation that the tiny ASIA inteliigence network in Yurka had been able to gather. It was mostly boring stuff, the latest news on governmental power plays, police reports on hunting down dissedents and random useless gossip, all was ranked and sorted by Pei at terrifying speed for Wai to quickly skim over and report in the unlikely event that there was anything concerning Ato-Saran intrests mentioned in them.

Reaching for his mug of coffee and finding it empty Wai got up and went for the door.
"Hey Pei, I'm gonna go take a break. You should too, have a rest and recharge." Pei turned in her seat and looked at Wai with her slightly glassed grey eyes that if you looked closely enough at had numbers and letter running across at high speed.
"Thank you Mr Jung, but Mr Gaosama said he wanted this batch done by the time he got back." Wai opened his mouth and was about to say that she would be able to get it finished in less than two hours, but reminded himself that it was useless. He shrugged and slid his keycard through the lock, which emmitted a little beep.
"Suit yourself." He opened the door and was gone. The door closed and the lock beeped again.

Pei meanwhile turned back in her seat and stared at the console in front of her, while letter and numbers sped before her eyes.

Yurka City II; Secondary Wall

Yurka City was an enormous, flourishing city, with an almost complete and utter lack of any crime despite the population. This total nonexistance of crime was partly due to the large government and police body in the city. Yet under the city, within the sewers and Lower Walls*, any police force was rather lax, and almost none delved to the deepest sections, where there was no electrical lighting. It was here where gangs, technophiles, and other rejects of society attempted to live unhindered by the government. They were more or less left alone, since sending police throughout the entire underground portions of Yurka would be more than they could safely use without possibly causing increases in crime elsewhere.

Here, within the secondary wall was a faction of technophiles attempting to bring freedom to Yurka in the way of complete and other Anarchy. However while they weren't trying this insane dream, they were investigating highly encrypted government databases. Along with this they also checked out databases of the embassies, which were much easier to crack into. This was one of those times...

"Hey Marx, ever hear of Ato-Sara?" A man with long green hair said with a laugh as he scratched his unshaven cheek, "How about we crack this one next? Think we could give it to that investor guy to make a few creds?"

The room was dark and not very well lit other than the immense amounts of computers and various machines, casting dim glows over the large number of teenagers and a few older men and women. They were the proud, the few, they were "Tainted Zebra". It sounded better in Yurkan, but the multi-colored cybernetic enhanced kids were on the cutting edge of Yurkas illegal technology market, thanks to Corporate CEOs who needed access to Yurka's illegal databases to better augment their products...

"Hmm maybe. I bet Draco would like it. Hey Leena! Get the AI ready!" He shouted across the room to a young girl sitting back on a carseat drinking eckie cola.

"Whaaa? Oh right! No problemo!" She said in a daze as she rushed over across the room, tripping over some wires, "Oof..."

"Damn... Be more careful!"

The girl finally made it across the room, climbing over numerous dead and opened computer monitors and other parts as she went leapt in front of a smaller computer. While it seemed to be alot of work to release an AI, it was easier to contain it on its own computer rather than using their other ones. Plus, if it remained anywhere too long, it tended to fry the motherboards.

"Use Sirius!" A dark haired man yelled back from the hallway, leaning against the entrance in a daze.

"Gotcha!" She shouted back in a peppy voice, making an 'ok' sign with her fingers as she began messing around with a keyboard.

Within ten minutes the AI was adjusted and sent out to break into Ato-Sara's embassy and find out everything it could about it. Usually Sirius didn't cause much direct damage unless left in a stationary target for too long, but that was only to cover it's own tracks.

*Beneath Yurka City II are a series of "walls" more like floors with spaces to travel through them. Beneath these are Yurka City's heavily guarded nuclear reactors, along with bunkers in case war breaks out.

---Ato-Saran Embassy mainframe---

*Pei finished with the last of the reports, carefully and efficiently filing it for Mr Jung to look over when he got back from his break. The colour of the mainframe around her shifted soothingly between a string of different shades of purple and green.

Pei liked Mr Jung; he was kind and thoughtful and treated her like an equal. Though she also 'liked' Mr Guosama, this was because her programming told her so, but her liking for Mr Jung came from somewhere else, deeper down than mere programming. Thoughts like these were confusing to Pei, it was as if two different sides were clashing in her mind, one was alien the other natural. The problem was that she could not tell which was which. Dismissing this train of thought, she changed her perception of the mainframe to a white infinite expanse.

With the mental equivalent of a sigh Pei prepared to go into sleep mode until she was needed again. However out of the corner of her vision she caught sight of something strange, it looked like one of the reports she had spent the last eight hours processing, but then again it was... different... it was in some way imperceptibly... wrong. The mainframe around her darkened as she focused on the oddity.
Making sure the anti-virus software in both herself and the mainframe was dialled up high, she reached out and activated it.

*The following is what Pei sees in her mind, she is in reality sitting at a console staring blankly into space.

As soon as the Sirius file was activated, the entire surroundings instantly began to distort, as Sirius suddenly multiplied exponentially thousands of times, each file copying itself as they literally began to scourge not only the system, but Pei herself. The anti-virus would be able to delete most of the files, but with every one deleted an exact replica was formed using the surrounding system, as Sirius, upon filling itself with information, quickly backtracked its way out. This was repeated untill essentially all of the availiable data was stolen, including that within Pei, including her memories. Barring some type of way to shut her from the outside and isolating the Sirius Source Virus there would be essentially no escape.

Once the final bit of data was taken, the Sirius files would quickly take the shape of molten ram skulls, each shifting in color irregularly as those who had stayed too long began to warp everything behind them, stopping anything from tracing them. The Virus Sirius would not stop untill the entire Embassy either went offline or had it's data completely uploaded onto the matrix of Tainted Zebra. The AI responsible also left a single message repeatedly over anything availiable, as if a calling card:

I am Sirius, nothing is outside of my grasp... I am Sirius, nothing is outside of my grasp... I am Sirius, nothing is outside of my grasp...

---Hangar level-B, Embassy district---

Aya Nanashi finished directing her maintained crew in fuelling the helicopters that were sitting inside the enclosed hangar bay. Wiping a patch off grease off her overalls, she strode over to the comm. station mounted next to the door. Dialling in the number she waited until the connection was established and the face of the young secretary showed up on the screen.

"Hiya, Li! The Choppers are fuelled and ready to go. Could you be a dear and contact the Yurkan Air traffic control to request the flight... Oh, and could you locate those lazy assed pilots and get them up here ASAP." The secretary smiled.

"Of course Miss Nanashi, have a nice day." Aya chuckled.

"Thanks Li, you too." The connection closed and Li put out a PA message for the Helicopter pilots before turning to her workstation and firing off a message to the Yurkan Air authority.

--------------------

To: Yurkan Air Authority

The Ato-Saran Embassy requests that they be given permission to perform a routine maintenance flight with the two Ka-80 helicopters. The flight route would be two circles round the embassy district for full maintenance evaluation.

-Ato-Saran Embassy.

-------ASIA Mainframe--------

Pei leapt in surprise as the deadly AI virus swarmed into the mainframe around her. She tried to fight back, destroying whole swathes of the invading files, but it was no use. Before she was overwhelmed she managed to break what few connections the ASIA mainframe had with the main embassy one.
Turning to face the onslaught of Sirius she committed every last bit of processing power into fighting the invader.
The battle was titanic, the mainframe flashed like lightning around her as she battled the horde, but finally and inevitably the invader slipped under her defences and struck right at her.
She had tried and failed, fighting to the end Pei slid flailing into blackness. Robbed of conscious commands her internal Core automatically severed the link with the ASIA mainframe.

Wai slid his card through the lock, which dutifully beeped, and stepped through the door. Walking to his station he noticed Pei was inactive, slumped in her chair. He chuckled to himself; she must have decided to have a rest after all.
Setting his coffee down on the console her booted up his station to continue work and was met with a blank screen. Confused he turned in his seat to face Pei.
"Hey Pei, what's wrong with the system?" When his questions failed to rouse her from sleep mode he rose from his seat and crossed the room to her. Lifting her chin he saw her eyes were black, this was strange, her sleep mode had never been anything like this. Reaching for her arm he inspected the small readout on her bracelet, it was blank.
Wai's mind raced, this could only mean one thing. She was shutdown, but how? Rotating the bracelet around he wrist he pried a small cover off and pressed a button before replacing the cover.
A very faint humming could be heard and the display on the bracelet lit up. Taking a step back Wai stood as Pei's eyes flashed to their usual grey. He breathed a sigh of relief and was about to ask her what happened when her eyes turned blood red, Wai almost jumped back in astonishment.
Pei stood and looked at her surroundings, cables trailing from her bracelet and earrings. Finally she turned to Wai and with a puzzled look spoke.

"I am sorry." Wai's confusion and fear mixed and produced an unnerved terror, he began to run for the door, but Pei darted like lightning to him and knocked him out cold with a single blow. Taking his card she went to the door and unlocked it with a beep.

Meanwhile Wai's activated console flashed with a slowly fading message.

'I am Sirius, nothing is outside of my grasp...'

Message from Yurkan Air Authority to Ato-Saran Embassy

The terms are acceptable, you may begin your flight whenever you're ready. You have the next twenty-four hours to get this started and over with. Good luck.

Yurka City II; Secondary Wall

The green haired man stared up at Leena and her computer, noticing a strange expression on her face, "Hey, is Sirius alright? Did it manage to get anything?"

"Uhh... There seems to be something wrong, most of Sirius managed to get some data, but it seems to be just random copies of some useless memory... I think they must have managed to cut it off." The young girl said with a small pour, leaning back in the chair by the computer, "Sirius managed to remain undetected for the most part though..."

"Did it tell you that?" Marx, a red haired man from before finally chimmed in as he walked inside, passing the dazed man by the entrance, "...Well?"

"Inconclusive, I think Sirius used too much of his energy all at once with the constant copying, hes worn out. He also encountered something strange there, like hacking into some type of being, like a person."

"Worn out? Hes an AI!" The Green haired man said with a smirk as he shook his head and sighed, "Sometimes I wonder about you and that thing... So think he just hacked into another AI program on their network? It IS possible right?"

"Maybe, but for now we should probably lay low. Sirius will try to get the data more coherent, but most of it was just stolen from whatever it was that was causing so much trouble. I'll stay late to keep an eye on things."

"Alright Leena, just don't let him loose on the main line though... Though if someone does show up from the outside..."

"Release him out there, can't leave behind any evidence..."

"Right, well Marx promised me he'd take me to see the whole KavaKura thing at Bleak, so we'll leave everything in control of Domitus. Adios." The Green haired man said with another half-assed smile as he and the red haired Marx slowly walked out, leaving the girl alone in the room, with the exception of a few sleeping or unconscious members of Tainted Zebra.

---Embassy district, Ato-Saran Embassy---

Pei stumbled down the corridor she was confused and disorientated. She could recognize or remember anything. Brief flashes of corrupted memory tore across her mind as she tried to remember, nothing worked. Seeing an office door ajar she burst into the empty room.
On the desk sat a workstation idly humming, turning on the screen she accessed the mainframe, she tried to go further but prompt after prompt asked for a password. Gathering all her might she forced her way into the system and grabbed a floor plan.
No sooner had she retreated from the mainframe a screeching alarm sounded and a voice over the PA directing a security team. Her mind flailing wildly she scanned the floor plan and saw where she needed to go.
Racing out of the office she followed the map towards the location marked 'Elevators'.
A sign on the wall ahead pointed in the right direction and she followed it, sprinting now as the alarms continued. Rounding the corner she ran straight into someone.

Stepping back the Jade Guardsman saw a young woman with green hair staring at him in fright, he was a bout apologise when his smart helmet brought up a picture with priority alert to capture. The same young woman stared back at him from the picture. Reaching for his weapon he had no chance as Pei lifted him up and threw him into a wall, cracking the smooth beige panels as slumped to the ground.
Taking not a moment to lose Pei ran down the last length of corridor to the elevators.
Nearly falling against the wall she desperately pressed the call button. The numbers at the top counted down inexorably until the reached 60 and the doors opened. However a heavily armed security team rounded the corner. The captain stepped forward and called for her to surrender, on the verge of panic she threw herself inside the elevator, but before the doors could close a hail of lead sped her way and she was hurled to the floor, a bullet in her shoulder.

---Hangar level-B, Embassy district---

Aya Nanashi finished checking the tail rotor of the Helicopter and retrieved her wrench from it's inner workings, before closing the inspection hatch and signalling to the rest of her maintenance team to clear the flight area of heavy equipment.
Aya made a circling motion with her hand to the pilots in the helicopters, and ducking as the blades began to spin, she hurried towards the maintenance bay. To her left the hangar access doors burst open and a green haired young woman ran through clutching her shoulder. Pausing for a moment the girl saw the helicopters and then ran straight for them, a tech that was slow to get out of her way was thrown aside clean off his feet.
Aya spun round and watched the girl and then saw the rotor blades dipping as the helicopters began to get up to speed. She shouted out a warning, but watched in amazement as the girl with inhuman reflexes ducked under them and jumped onto the helicopter cockpit.
Aya watched in slow motion as the girl opened the cockpit and literally threw the two pilots out of their seats. Acting on instinct Aya ran forward, rolled under the blades pulverizing the air above her and managed to jump and grab the landing gear as the helicopter lifted of the floor and towards the opening in the far wall.
As if in a surreal dream she watched an entire security team pile through the access doors, guns raised at the helicopter. The girl at the controls seemed not care and turned the helicopter so it faced the opening. Aya hanging for her life managed with all her strength to reach up and pull open the troop compartment sliding door and haul herself in.
The helicopter now in position accelerated out of the hanger and into the pen sky above the city, looking out of the open door Aya found herself at a loss what to do know, there was no way to get at the cockpit from her current position and even then, the girl at the controls had shown superhuman abilities.
Meanwhile the pilots of the second helicopter recovered from the shock of what they had just seen and jammed the throttles forward to pursue the escaping helicopter.

----Helicopter over Yurka City II-----

Pei guided the helicopter over the embassy district and towards the jungle over skyscrapers that made up the city, awed by it, she did not notice the other helicopter until it was too late and shells were already coming her way. One clipped the tail boom and others impacted heavily on the armour. Inside Aya, wide eyed at the hail of fire coming her way, slammed the armoured troop door shut.
Scolding herself for being distracted Pei wheeled the helicopter around and returned fire, raking shots along the enemy's side. The other pilots with experience on their side executed a risky roll to get on her blind side and let off a long burst which chopped her tail off. The helicopter went into a spin and Pei, panicking held down the trigger, depleting the magazine of rounds for the cannon. Most of the shots missed, but three large rounds slammed into the engine casing and sent the enemy plummeting to the ground.
Pei fighting franticly with the controls managed to direct the dying helicopter towards a downtown area before losing all control.

In the troop compartment Aya Nanishi realised with horror that the chopper was spinning to a crash before the G forces made her black out.

OOC: Sorry about the wait, a massive chunk of Coursework came up.

Yurka City II; Downtown Block C-19

Almost all eyes were pointed skyward as the helicopters did battle in the sky above, small empty bullet casings smacking down onto the ground below. The few eyes which weren't looking upwards were invariably driving or on the phone contacting their relatives. Such a thing as what was currently going on had never happened before in the last decade! However, even with all of the excitement, a few jaded citizens still stood out, in this case sitting together at a manmade park reading a newspaper.

"Hmm... Says here the Matriarch of Reloria is a vampire..." A thin, black haired man quietly said flipping through a newspaper while he adjusted the collar on his business uniform, "That Jack Sombra is one good reporter."

"I'll say. By the way did I tell you-"

Their conversation was quickly cut off as they turned up just in time to see a large helicopter falling towards them, rushing out of the way before it landed with an explosion, causing a rain of burnt metal everywhere as the people began to extinctively flee from the explosion, waiting for the Yurkan Guard or a Corporate Fire Department to come in and take care of the mess.

"The other one is going down too!" A woman shouted, pointing up as the second helicopter began to slowly spiral downward, firing off into the side of an office building. Thankfully most of the bullets were unable to crack the glass, "It looks like its headed for C-46!"

Everyone watched in horror as the second helicopter began to land, as sirens in the distance calmed everyone down. The Yurkan Guard was finally arriving by the sound of it, as every group had a distinctive siren of their own.

Downtown Block C-46; Al's Chop and Go

Block C-46 was much like the rest of the Downtown District, with its significantly shorter skyscrapers and less immediately flashy appeal, it was more or less predominated by residence and storefronts. One of these storefronts was 'Al's Chop and Go', a cybernetic and Plastic Surgery Parlor built into an alley. As the helicopter slowly came to a smack against the pavement, mere meters away, he and his patrons quietly breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that it missed anyone.

"What the hell? Is that one of our helicopters?!" A spikey haired teenager shouted, pointing a cybernetic, clawed hang towards the wreck, which was slowly leaking fuel.

"Shut it Brant! Go get your legs done with Saria! Aliz, Zerin, and Karil! Come with me and get any survivors out! I don't want too much heat on the place!" An old bald man said from behind a desk, wearing sunglasses and a bright red vest, "C'mon!"

"Alright Al..." Zerin said with a smirk, his long brown hair seemingly having a metallic sheen to it, not to mention a small metallic plate behind his neck. He almost immediately started to laugh, "Probably going to question us anywho..."

Before Al could give a smart-ass retort back to the cyborg, Aliz shot in, "Honestly, I think that surgery they did on you must have messed up when they were hooking it up to your brain." He smiled with a cheesy sort of smile, his dyed white hair brushing in front of his sickeningly pale, thin face as he opened the door for Karil, a short black haired woman with a chain behind her neck connecting her two earrings.

Almost as soon as the four came out onto the street Zerin flexed his artificial muscles and prepared to push the helicopter away from the storefront, however stopped after moving it a few inches. As soon as they stopped, Aliz and Karin rushed to the other side to look for survivors, thankful that the sirens hadn't sounded yet...

Official Message from Yurkan Foreign Ministry to Ato-Sara

What exactly happened at your embassy? We were expecting moderate trials, not a full-blown aerial battle over the city. The damage to our city was extensive, and as of yet we were thankfully unable to find any casualties, though many in the office buildings are wounded, and some we have not been able to properly investigate yet. Our military is in the process of taking in the downed aircraft immediately, however we expect a full report from your Embassy immediately.

---Downtown Block C-46; Helicopter wreckage---

Pei looked around the interior of the ruined cockpit, smoke pouring from the engines obscured the view and even with her advanced optics she could only see silhouettes moving about outside. She could suddenly feel the wreckage being moved, realising that the helicopter fuel could detonate at any time she brought up her left hand to pull away the cracked canopy, servos and locomotors in her damaged shoulder squealed in protest, but she kept pressing and the latches gave way.
Throwing off the canopy she climbed out and nearly tripped, stumbling out of the smoke engulfing the aircraft. She ran straight into a young man with long brown hair.

Aya Nanashi awoke from unconsciousness with a start, smoke was pouring into the troop compartment from all sides. Coughing violently she flailed around trying to find a way out as the acrid smoke stung her brown eyes.
Her hand came into contact with something hard, pulling herself closer to it, she made out from the block printed lettering that it was the weapons locker. Trying not to breath in the noxious fumes she opened it and took out a P10 PDW and clip.
She fumbled with weapon as she tried to load it in the zero visibility of the compartment. After achieving this difficult task she made blindly for the door, when a huge jolt as the helicopter was moved, knocked her off her feet and hit her head against a jump seat. The gun went clattering out of her hand and onto the deck.
Putting her hand to her aching forehead she felt blood mixing with sticky sweat and her short black hair.

---Ato-Saran Embassy----

Xun Guosama stood before the Ambassadors desk and weathered they raging anger flowing from the man himself.

"What the hell happened Guosama? I’ve got the central security division breathing down my neck, the Yurkans are hounding me for an explanation and I'm expecting a call from the prime minister any minute now! When he calls he is going to want answers, and I don't have them right now!"

The ambassador took a moment to breath and Guosama pounced on this to explain.

"I'm sorry sir, but I don't know what exactly happened. I can only give you an outline."

The ambassador gave him a stony glare and motioned for him to continue.

"From what we can gather, earlier today the android Yanpei-M0967 SAU assigned to intelligence duties went rouge and tried to escape the embassy after extensively damaging the ASIA mainframe and injuring multiple embassy staff on the way out.
The droid then managed to steal one of our helicopters and escape, the other helicopter pursued and engaged them but where shot down, as was the android."

The ambassador's glare did not relent, he sighed.

"Damn you Guosama! I know everything you just told me!
Is there absolutely anything else I need to know about that I haven't been told three times over?"

Guosama nervously adjusted the collar of his suit and looked at a small blue notepad.

"Err.. well, a Miss Aya Nanashi, a senior maintenance engineer, reportedly boarded the android's escaping helicopter as it took off. The maintenance crew have been questioned but they do not know her intentions.

"So you are saying that Miss Nanashi here could either have been trying to stop the rouge or could have been in league with it?"

Guosama coughed nervously.

"Well that could be a possibility, Miss Nanashi as the senior maintenance engineer for the helicopters had requested that they be given a test run, without this the android would not have been able to escape at..."

On the verge of losing patience the ambassador cut Guosama off.

"Well then, get out of my sight and don't return until you have found out everything you can about this Aya Nanashi and get me her full file!"

"At once sir, but may I say that the android in question had almost unlimited access to the ASIA network and as such could not possibly be allowed to fall into foreign hands."

The ambassador's face turned red.

"I know that dammit! Get out!"

Xun Guosama only too happy to be out of this situation retreated with great speed. When he was gone, ambassador Sun Tai Ho sank back into his chair, closing his eyes and letting out a long sigh.
Chomping a high quality cigar between his teeth he set to work drafting a reply to the Yurkans.

Zerin was nearly pushed back as Pei rushed into him, but managed to maintain his footing as he quickly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her away from the wreckage, his hard, obviously non-organic arm keeping her from getting away from him. Something felt strange about her though, but the man couldn't really figure what it was.

"Hey Aliz! We've got a survivor over here!" He said with almost a laugh as he stared at her green hair for a second, before eventually lowering his eyes to her own, "Are you alright? That was a pretty bad crash..."

Aliz quickly gave him an 'ok' sign before leaping into the noxious smoke to quickly check for another. The man had an almost completely white hue to his skin, and as his thin arms quickly brisked against the floor of the cockpit, they eventually found a fallen gun, which he immediately placed in his back pocket. Just when he was about to give up, as the leaking gas and smoke were beginning to take over, his hands finally rested on some hair, which was wet with either gasoline or blood.

"Found you..." He whispered, coughing a bit as his emaciated frame reached down and lifted the woman into his arms. Then, with an inhuman amount of speed, he backtracked his path and leapt through over the door, nearly tripping on Nanashi as his feet hit the ground.

Then, as if on cue, the distant sirens began to sound off...

Pei was frightened when she ran into the man, but looking into his eyes as he bent down, she oddly felt safe. It was the first time she had felt safe since she had suddenly woken up with no memory. She relaxed and opened her mouth to answer his questions when the sirens began to blare. She immediately tensed as flashes of memory struck her.

The alarms in the corridor screeched and she ran she ran as fast as she could. Then the men with guns came and they shot at her, and then there was.... was... PAIN!

Pei wildly looked around and saw all the people coming out of their houses and staring at her and the wreckage. She had to get away now!
Gathering all her strength she struggled to get free and throw the man, that had a moment ago made her feel safe, off.

Aya wearily opened an eye and saw the world above her moving, a dry feeling in the back of her throat made her cough with a hacking sound. Suddenly she was aware she was being carried, looking up she saw her rescuer's young pale face and then against all her strength the world slipped back into darkness.

Zerin's eyes widened as the grip around the girl was broken and he was quickly tossed away as if he were nothing, landing on his mechanical arm with a sharp clang. Rolling over to his side, he quickly leapt upwards and watched as she began to run away, just as the sirens began to heighten.

"Damn... Looks like she has something to hide." He said with a frown as he got to his feet, wondering for a moment why she was so strong, not to mention hard, "Hmm... Is that other girl alright?! Aliz?!"

"Yeah!" He shouted back, still coughing from the smoke as he watched the woman's eyes open momentarily, which was a good sign at least, "Hang in there..."

Within minutes the first of the government vehicles arrived, as hundreds of people looked downward from their windows and doorways at the scene below. Any fires were put out within seconds as they began to question everyone involved, nearly missing Aliz as he attempted to bring Nanashi into the shop.

"Hey you! Is that one of the survivors?" A black suited guard shouted as he walked over.

"Uhh... Yeah I was just going to clean her up a bit first. Shes bleeding pretty bad." Aliz lied, looking around.

"Don't worry, we'll take care of her..."

Pei ran down the street as she heard the sirens getting closer seing no other route, she barreled down a small dark alleyway. Dodging debris that was in her way. Her arm brushed against a dumpster off to one side and the locomotors seized. Losing her balance she tripped and landed on the hard floor. She pulled herself upright and slumped against the wall.
On her wrist the little display flashed the battery low icon and Pei, power exhausted from her ordeal, went into standby mode. She was not truly 'asleep', for she could sense what was going on around her, but with her power core nearly depleted she was helpless.

Aya Nanashi's eyes fluttered open again as she heard the wailing sirens around her, and in the background what heard like a conversation was going on... that seemed like it was about her! Trying to crane her neck to see, her splitting headache however had other idea and she slumped back down, once more consumed by darkness.

"Yes... Don't worry shes quite alright. Shes only suffered a small bump to her head." A doctor said with a smile as he waved the soldiers out of the room, staring back at Aya Nanashi, "I'm surprised you survived. You're pretty lucky for a foreigner."

The man looked over at the woman, strapped to the hospital bed to keep her from escaping. She was still unconscious after an entire day, but her brain activity was more or less normal. She'd pull through, at least untill Ato-Sara came for her. He wasn't sure on the specifics, but something she did must have gotten her into quite a bit of trouble.

"Ahh... The foolishness of youth." He said with a laugh, despite the fact he himself was probably only in his mid twenties.

---------Downtown Block C-52---------

"Have you found her yet?" A hooded man whispered as he slowly came up from the sewer, staring at two other figures who were seemingly expecting him, "My sources indicate that she wasn't at the scene of the crime..."

"Don't worry about it Draco. We'll find her before the Imperial Guard does. I've sent Elana and Alith out ahead to locate her. Are you sure though? An android?" A brash female voice asked from under one of the hoods, looking around cautiously, "Do they even have those?"

"The government has been looking into them, along with the big Corporations... Man! This is better than any diplomatic data... If you can get her, we can finally leave the sewers and strike out on our own." The other robed figure shouted in, excitedly as 'Draco' stared at him, causing him to immediately silence, "Err... I mean... Can we even trust Sirius?"

"We can trust him. Don't forget where we got that guy, alright? Now hes been going out a bit on his own, but the Corporations and Government keep deleting his plants. She should still be in the C-Block though. I'll keep some guys below ground. Now hurry up and look for her..."

"Alright boss." The two said together as they began to walk off, Draco once again climbing back down into the sewers.

----Yanpei Technologies HQ, Tian' an, Ato-Sara----

Huang Tao surveyed the power base of his corporate empire from the excellent vantage point that his office gave him of the compound and the sprawling metropolis of Tian' an. Relaxing back in his chair and sipping a glass of finest whisky he sighed contentedly.
The intercom on the desk beeped and the secretary on the other end informed him that the Prime Minister was on line 2.
Huang scowled at the interruption, but thanked the secretary and switched to line 2.

"Good morning Madame Prime Minister, for what do I have the pleasure of your call?"

The stern voice of Prime Minister Lin Yen replied through the speakers.

"For your information Mr Tao there is no pleasure in this call for either of us. I have not got much time so I will make this to the point."

Huang's face fell and he realised that this was going to ruin his day. The Prime minister continued.

"Earlier yesterday one of your 'droids went rogue and caused havoc within our embassy in Yurka. It escaped and is still missing.
The Yurkans aren’t happy because it caused large amounts of damage on its way out and I'm not happy because this is the second time Tao! You said that was one chance in a million!"

Huang gulped and reached for the whisky glass and drained it, while the irate Prime Minister continued.

"Now this is what is going to happen, I am going to put down this phone and then you a0er going to call your man and send him to Yurka where he will be briefed."

He did not like where this was going, and quickly interjected.

"That’s not fair! It's not my 'droid, it belongs to the government. Why should I have to deal with it?"

"It's your damn machine if I say it's your machine Tao! And no you don't need to deal with it, but I'm sure Mr Xi would be delighted to get his hands on one of those machines."

Huangs mind reeled in horror at that thought and he subconsciously looked towards the massive, ominous looking ION Industries complex in the distance. ION Industries was his main rival and the director Kane Xi was one of the most ruthless businessmen around.

"There is no need to do that! But I will need compensation for his services, he is very useful."

Huang could almost hear her fume on the other end.

"You are lucky I don't shut you down Tao! Mr Akai's plane leaves in two hours, he will be there."

Huang only too happy to end the ordeal submitted.

"Yes ma'am."

The intercom beeped and the connection was broken.
Huang Tao slumped back in his chair and reached for the whisky, it was empty. Groaning he pushed a button on his desk and a moment later a young woman with grey eyes and long green hair entered carrying a tray with another bottle of whisky. She set it down on the desk and began to pour him a glass. Huang looked at her and smiled weakly.

"Thank you Neia."

She smiled back and then frowned at his worried expression.

"Is there anything wrong Mr. Tao, are you feeling well?"

Taking the offered glass he downed it in one.

"No, no I am fine, one of your sisters has just caused a bit of trouble that’s all."

Neia looked confused as if she did not know what to say. Huang forced a smile again and said.

"It will be okay. Now go and recharge I have some business to attend to."

The robot girl went out of the room again and Huang called the secretary over the intercom.

"Get me.. get me Mr Akai...."

------Tian' an Guang Ki district------

Akai sat at the cafe table reading a newspaper when his cell phone rang. Answering it the shaky voice of Huang Tao came over the line.
Akai listened attentively to the man's words before ending the call and walking a block before hailing a taxi. Back on his table a cup of coffee steamed silently.

Pei looked at the dark alley through her grey eyes; she had been there for almost a day now and had steadily conserved enough power to move for a short time. Activating her locomotors she climbed up from her sitting position and began to walk back the way she had come.
Her left arm hung limply and unresponsive at her side, her simple blue dress was frayed and tattered and soot and grime blackened her long green hair.
It was evening and the sun was sinking slowly. She rounded a corner in the shadow of a large apartment building and looked upon the spot where the helicopter had crashed. The wreckage had been cleared away and all that remained was a dark scorch mark.
The street looked different now, last time there had been smoke, sirens and lots of people crowding round. Now it was mostly empty.

Her power display began to blink. She needed to find a power outlet and fast. Looking around franticly, she saw a shop with a bright neon sign proclaiming it to be 'Al's chop and go' and began to walk towards it. She got halfway before the power finally gave out and she collapsed.

----Tian' an International Airport----

Akai stalked across the wet tarmac towards the executive jet, oblivious to the rain pelting down from the heavens. The jet was fairly normal, a small twin engined design it was comfortable and fit for any high flying business man to travel in and apart form it's registration number it was unmarked. Not that Akai cared about any of this. He was just paid to notice things.
At the top of the boarding ramp a grizzled pilot in a windcheater stood in the door way smoking a cigarette. Seeing Akai he stubbed it out on the rail and dropped into a puddle.

"Welcome aboard sir, we'll be setting off now."

Akai just nodded and pushed past the pilot into the passenger compartment, his suit still soaked by the rain.
The pilot pulled up the ramp and closed the door before sitting down into his chair and starting the engine.
Looking back at Akai in the passengers compartment he silently chuckled to himself, gloomy bastard."

On the table in front of Akai a brown paper envelope caught his eye, opening it a small digital memory stick fell out.
Taking out a music player he plugged the memory stick into it and put in his earphones.
A dull monotone voice began to speak.

"You have been contracted by ASIA on special assignment in Yurka. Your employer should already have filled you out in the basics of the situation.

Your job is to retrieve a possibly malfunctioning Yanpei M-series android, the unit in question is Yanpei-M0967 SAU and as such can change it's superficial appearance at will as well as perform higher tactical thinking if the mode is engaged, although at last sighting the unit was observed to be in default mode. Also worthy of note is that it is a later 0900+ unit and so the defect involving saltwater corrosion has been rectified.

The unit is to be taken preferably in one piece back to ASIA but if necessity dictates, total destruction is acceptable as well.

I must also remind you that Yurka is a foreign power and as such you must be mindful of all the requests the Yurkans give you, however if this conflicts severely with your primary objective they maybe then and only then disregarded...."

The voice continued to drone on about operational regulations, while the plane continued its voyage through the clouds.

"Shit man... Are you sure this is alright?" A familiar male voice from before muttered as dozens of wires were stuck into an incision made in Pei's back to give her more power, "What if the Empire finds out?!"

"Shut it!" Al muttered in the darkness surrounding Pei, as it began to brighten around the old bald man, "Now... Can't give her too much power at once, wouldn't want to short circuit anything or bring too much attention to us."

"Yeah Alix, like you give a damn. We all know what you do on the weekends." Zerin said with a smile as he looked down at the girl from before, who nearly broke his arm when she escaped, "Hey... I think she might be coming to. Think shes dangerous?"

"Not likely. Besides, if she tries anything just cut the power Zerin..."

"Gotcha..."

(It's okay, sorry for being pushy.
Anyway, Pei is a model built for use in the intelligence business for various purposes. She can change her superficial appearance such as hair, eye and skin colour at will within half an hour. Her mechanical body and titanium alloy chassis lends her incredible strength and endurance at the price of having a short battery life if she uses them for extended periods. She can also hook directly into computers and information terminals via cables that attach to her bracelet and earrings, which she also uses to charge her batteries through [She isn't going to be to happy when she finds out they have cut a hole in her back]
Also worthy of note is that she has her model ID number slightly indented into the skin of her right shoulder blade, this cannot be removed by her.)

------Al's Chop and Go------

Pei could feel power running through her, slowly recharging her depleted batteries it felt good, but was also strange. The she remembered, the street, running out of power, unconsciousness. Someone had found her!
A diagnostic display appeared in her mind's eye, lines of code running around her. The logic core was operational and she was fully conscious with minimal data corruption, however sensor input and motor controls where inactive.
Feeling the power coursing through her relays, she activated her connections to the outside world.

She opened her eyes and saw a wall lined with components on shelves, around her she could hear voices talking about her. Her left arm was still unresponsive and locked up. Moving her right arm she held her hand in front of her face and tested the movement of her fingers, sluggish at first they soon were working normally.

Aya Nanashi woke up in a darkened room that smelt of antiseptic, around her medical hummed quietly. She tensed as she remembered the crash and the smoke, but then took in her surroundings and realised that she was in a hospital and relaxed, she was safe.

Her head ached and she tried to bring her hand up to her forehead. She couldn't move it, trying again she realized that they had strapped her down to the table.
Aya began to panic frantically wrestling with the restraints that held her down.

------Al's Chop and Go------

"Alright... All signs look normal." Al muttered to himself as he stood up and stretched out his arms, it had been a rough few hours, but it was all worth it. The diagnostics he gathered would also give some rudimentary help to his own business, "You can start giving her more power, she doesn't look that dangerous."

"Alright Al." A female voice said calmly from behind Pei as a slowly increasing amount of power was pumped into her, "YanPei Technologies huh?"

"Yep." Al responded coldly, "Its some business in Ato-Sara. So I'm pretty sure this is the girl everyone's looking for. Have the others come back with anything on her yet?"

"Nope. We still haven't gotten ahold of Karil yet. Shes probably been held up by the military. They've been questioning everyone that walks by lately..."

"Heh heh heh... Won't catch us down here though."

Al smiled faintly as he looked around the old looking room, with mechanical limbs on shelves, some of which with weapons in plain view. Among these were other mysterious parts, including a jar full of cybernetic eyes, something that looked like a blue tinted spine, and large battery looking devices. The floor was cement, and in the back there was a small staircase leading upwards. The room was underground, dug out during the buildings construction to help Al get parts for his more nefarious business associates.

---Communication to Ato-Sara---

During this time of crisis we will allow this operative to enter the nation without a microchip, and will go so far as to give him six of our imperial soldiers to assist him with the search. As for the woman, you may question her at any time. Our partnership in the matter of capturing this individual is of the utmost importance.

------Yurkan Corporate Hospital 2-940------

As soon as Aya began to writhe around, a small blue light began to flash at the doorway and two armed guards walked in, followed by the young doctor, who smiled almost as soon as he noticed that Aya was awake. It appeared the questioning would go just as it was menat to, with no further hindrances. This was turning into quite the political problem, at least by Yurkan terms, but hopefully when the questioning was finished they would be able to track down that loose foreigner.

"Guards. You may unrestrain her. Don't worry Aya Nanashi, you were injured. We were just making sure you didn't further injure yourself after the incident." The doctor said with a calm smile as the two armed men walked over to the sides of her bed and undid the straps, "Some men from Ato-Sara will be here shortly to question you about it. Can I get you anything while you wait? A drink perhaps?"

------Yurka City II; Secondary Wall; Sirius Chamber------
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/Kutulmak/Galerianzlab1.jpg

The room was different from before, since they opted to move Sirius to a different location for his protection, and to give him some more space to move around. If they didn't stick and move like this, eventually the military above would find and detain them all, along with all of their priceless equipment.

In fact, this immense chamber was the place where almsot all of the criminal underworld in Yurka met. It was amazing that as of yet it hadn't been found out, but unbecknownst to all, the room itself could easily be risen or lowered to another shelf. It was once used by Obelisk to create their AI programs, and is in fact the birthplace of Sirius, their leader.

"Leena, has he found anything yet?" Draco said coldly as he leaned on a railing overlooking the large chasm below, "Every second counts with the military looking for her, hes scrambling any signals right? Oh and-"

"Shhh!" The young girl motioned with her finger as she prattled onto the keyboards in front of her, "Hes taking care of it, don't worry. But you can't expect too much with Cerberus and all the Guard AIs out there."

There was a sudden jolt in the room the first of the screens began to turn on, as Sirius' human appearance (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/Kutulmak/GalerianzCaine71.jpg), or at least what passed as that, began to speak. There was also a sort of cybernetic body in the cylinder, but it was incapable of movement, at least for now.

"Greetings..." The mechanical, young male's voice said quietly.

"Sirius. Have you located her whereabouts?" The man known as Draco, in a way Sirius' human counterpart, said calmly, despite the fact that Sirius' face was on every screen in the room, "Or should we just give up now?"

"Ha...haha..." The voice said with a bit of static, which meant Sirius was currently working around Yurka in quite a few different locations. That slight pause was all it took for the beings he considered his servants to understand that something was wrong, "Block C-46. Al's Chop and Go I believe... You should be quick about it, I fear Ato-Sara is sending forth some assistance in tracking the android. Though I was unable to identify any tracking equipment on her, it may have been connected seperately."

"Good job Sirius!" Leena shouted up at the massive array of screens, doing a little cheer, "Draco, now all you need to do it send your men to go in and snatch her before the military find out!"

"Who the hell? Leena watch who you're to like that. In case you haven't forgotten after Sirius I'm the one in charge. I'll send Ares and the others, no problem."

"Excellent. Now about my body..." The array of screens said in unisen as a slight flash came across it.

"Not yeat. Yurka's android technology can't contain you yet. We'll check out this YanPei model when we get her. Perhaps after we sell her over to Zion they can set us up a deal?"

"I suppose... Well go and send Ares little Draco. I'll keep an eye on them though, to make sure that they don't do anything stupid like last time."

Leena giggled, "They thought its not their fault Sirius, they thought she was a man. It was an honest mistake."

Draco shivered upon the recollection and quickly walked out. Interrogating that transvestite was one of the most unpleasant experiences any of them had experienced in their young lives.

Confidant that it could support her weight she twisted her arm and pushed herself into a sitting position on the table and looked around the room, swinging her legs over the side of the table. She saw Zerin and with a start recognized him as the one from the wreck.

Aya nodded and felt her wrists after the guards had unstrapped them. She pulled herself up in to a sitting position on the bed. Still blurry and confused she realised her mouth felt dry and cracked.

"A drink. Please."
