OOC: I am not a strict canon guy or anything(I use whatever I can think of, then stat it from a related SciFi tech--so ST,SW,B5,40k,GURPS,RIFTS, whatever.
So just please no weapons that defeat all, and no defense that can not be defeat---No wanky beam weapons, No wanky shields--thank you.

Deep inside the massive expanse of a thousand galaxies lays the Aurora Nebula. The name common, as across the known universe there must be a thousand such place.

A massive Nebula caught by two massive opposing stars illuminated by this process trapping waves and rays making it an extremely backscattered Neb, the most horrible place to navigate.

Deep inside the strangely illuminated Aurora Nebula is the orbital path of satellites that orbit both of these stars.

Occasionally planetoids will switch from one star to another, unique in the universe very few solar systems exist with this impeccable balance.

The high Galactic concentration of the Coma Cluster allows one to find the strangest things.

Inside the strange Nebula is a strange people, the Nanic, the Dominion of the Nanic was essentially a large group of pirates, theives and murderers as far as most of the outside world was concerened that knew of them.

Since that reputation was well earned, there were few that did indeed know of them.

An ambassador had been sent by the Nanic to the Galactic Empire under rule of the Chronosia Emperor.

The Nanic themselves were divided into four distinct races seperated by evolution thousands of generations ago, the Nanic were one of the oldest races in this universe, older then even they remember.

The Nanic home was Na'hnn'Ic'aht'rwl there was no translating the word, of the few that had encountered the Nanic some had attempted and most agree it means 'Engineered', though a very formal and Honorific version of the word.
One translator suggested it was closer to 'Divine Engineering' or perhaps 'Nanic Engineered' the name ofhte Nanic home is in an old tongue of the Nanic and they make no effort to assist in its translation.

As the name suggests the Nanic do not reside upon a planet, but rather the Na'hnn'Ic'aht'rwl is a massive twisted hulking mass of metal, or power generators and weapon systems and Ships, hundreds of ships mixxed into it--which can break away at a moments notice and alter the entire configuration of their home.

It is rumored that the entire Na'hnn'Ic'aht'rwl is Hyperspace capable, through the use of the a special ZPE drive system developed by the Nanic a thousand years before the dawn of man.

Where many races who use Zero Point technology still use storage moduals the Nanic have surpassed this, or rather skipped it.

The energy contained is far too potent to be used as weapon but as a propulsion system, it is second to none.

But, time for technicalities later.

With in the Coma Cluster, on the shifting sphere Na'hnn'Ic'aht'rwl the Nanic have made the decision to allow a finite number of delegates from powerful peoples throughout the universe to be allowed access to Na'hnn'Ic'aht'rwl, and the Nanic High Chancellor.

While small in numbers, a fact to be explained in the History of the Nanic, the Nanic have proven to be technologically well equiped and quite ferocious when choosing a victim.

So, modified fighters were jumped all across the known Galaxies to dispatch the message and guide back a representative.

Luckily the Nanic-Usian(One ofthe Four Nanic sub-races, do not require any instruments to navigate in space-again this will be covered in other source material) so navigating the Nebula proves no hardship for them.

OOC:
If you are interested, post my modified weaponless fighter delivering a message and you responding---

[I was going to join, but apparently I can't use my trans-phased wankological torpedo systems. Check your TG's.]

Hmmm, well if they cant be defeated--no. But, since I use transphase systems---and RP a way of (ways) of defeatig them I have no beef with it.

[Trans-hased wankological torpedoes immediately destroy everything in the universe. Even God. Especially God.]

Yeah, no, I would say those would be kind of limiting. No, sorry.

Edge of Yuuzhan Vong Space

It was a routine patrol along the outer rim of Yuuzhan Vong space. There were literally hundreds of other patrols every day. Nothing ever happened. This was how inexperienced officers gained experience in commanding a starship. One such officer was Nuurok I'pan, fresh from the academy.

Standing on the bridge of his Pirya-class Frigate, I'pan gazed at the dovin basal mine he'd come to check on. Nothing seemed amiss. It was healthy, seemingly in fine order. As he turned to order another jump to darkspace, something was torn from FTL by the mine. A tiny fighter, weaponless if the sensors were correct. He stared at the tactical readout for nearly half a second before issuing orders.

"Fighters on alert, all hands battle stations. Open a channel to the fighter." He ordered, several seconds later it was done. "Unidentified fighter, you have intruded upon Yuuzhan Vong space. Identify yourself and your intentions or we will be forced to destroy you. You have two standard minutes."

The 'Starwing' (simply a refitted Deathwing), was piloted by two Usian(Nanic-Usian to be precise) The pilot simply pressed a button and waited.

A broadcast in simple binary code went out, on the same frequency as the warning.

"The High Chancellor of the Nanic Dominion seeks to entice your most honorable culture into exchange of delegates.

As a sign of good faith your delegate will be first escorted to the Nanic home in the Coma Cluster."

The message was non-descript and plain, simplisity was a Nanic trademark.

The fighter sat glistening from light of stars across its hull, as it drew energy back into the ZPE drive, for a return to Higher Space. The small drive would take longer then two minutes so if the message was recievedd poorly it could be quite a short trip.

OOC: Tallaxx, I havnt posted the pictures ofmy sub-races yet, but by your factbook our peoples look similar. Not exactly--but similar.

The message was received easily enough, but at first the crew had no idea what it was. It wasn't until a shaper, well versed in the technological languages of the galaxy, heard it that the message could be translated. Immediately a message was sent to Fleet Command on Yuuzhan'tar requesting orders. A few minutes later a reply was received. I'pan was to hold position and wait for a higher ranking officer to arrive with his vessel. He was to inform the "Nanics" of this and request they hold position.

Speaking into the comm station, I'pan relayed his orders. "Nanic vessel, hold position. A delegate is being sent to this location. Once he arrives, he will follow you to your government. Until that time you may come aboard this vessel and discuss your intentions."

The Starwing agreed to dock with the vessel.

The pilot and second disembarked.

The Deathwing was the largest of the Nanic fighters, the only one large enough to accomodate a 'Hyperdrive' though the term was not quite accurate.

The grown diamondoid armor if the Starwing continued to glimer from the lighting in the Talaaxian bay.

The large crystal forms refracting light back and forth,
the cresent shape of the vessel gave it an odd sens of proportion looking at it from the front it is a long thin line, from above or bleow it massive for a fighter-a design feature obvious for head on combat, or high speed retreat.

The Nanic-Usians were themselves not really delegates, but tothem refusing the invitation would have been rude.
