Historical recording of the Battle of Dark Edge...

I Arthur Lockheart am here to write down the historic occasion in which the Armies of the Kingdom of Hansia forced the Greenskins from the Forbidden lands to retreat from our noble lands. However the Battle had a hard cost.
The King Azaire Ronaldi I was lost to us along with three thousand Humans and five hundred Elven warriors not to mention six hundred half-Elves and one Thousand Undead warriors.
THE RECORDING FOR THE ROYAL ARCHIVES
The Dark Edge Mountains was crawling with the Orcs, Goblins, and Ogres.
The Kingdom of Hansia had prepared its Royal Grand Army to deal with the impending invasion.
The Greenskin tribes had crossed from the Forbidden Lands and into the Dark Edge Mountains.
The Elven Rangers of Elyshan were ready on their positions on the cliff tops with long bows at ready. The Orcs were being hit with several volleys of arrows from the mountaintops down towards there advancing forces.
The Hansian Forces on there side of the Mountains were assembling.
The Sight was quite impressive there were Morkinburg Royal Guardsmen in their traditional Platemail armor armed with large interlapping shields and short swords between the edges. There were also Morkinburg crossbowmen and Hansian War banners flying high along with warbanners from the many Duchies of the Kingdom:
There was also Calasarionian Clan warriors in there traditional fur skin armor and leather armor. Their assorted weapons were a mixture of Battle-Axes and swords with shields and short bows.
There were Saraconian Knights along with several regiments of there men at arms.
There were Half-Elven Oceanwaldian Spear men and Pike men along side with Genovian Human Swordsmen and Axemen were also marching into battle.
There were also Tileavanian Undead War hosts were preparing to attack as well in their multitudes of Zombies Skeletons and Graveguard. The Templars of Blood were also riding along side of the Undead Warriors ready to destroy the Greenskins in the name of the Great Destroyer..
The Duchy of Nerorian sent their Horde of War Riders. Their Spears were ready to pierce into the flesh of the Orcs. The Khans were giving orders to hit the Orcs first with their famous horse archers.
The Elves of Elyshan had also sent in their rangers and their Mighty Legions wage a heated battle the Hated orcs and there allies to save Hansia from becoming over run and destroyed.
The High King Azaire Ronaldi I waited with his mighty mount Sororan the Silver Dragon. The King was surrounded by the Order of the Sliver Templars. These Mighty Knights rode upon the backs of sliver Dragons. There were 50 of them all together ready to attack.
The Orcs and Goblins had finally reached the summit of the mountains after hundreds of them were killed thanks to arrow wounds and Elven created avalanches.
The Orcs and Goblins charge down the mountains towards the fleeing Elven Rangers and the assembled Grand Royal Army.
The Magus's of the Guild unleash there spells hundreds of Lightning Bolts and Fireballs head towards the Orcs and arrows go flying...
The Tens of Thousands of Soldiers and warriors charge at the Orcs and Goblins. The Goblins were the first to hit into the Mass of Humans Elves and Undead and the blood started to flow. The Orcs and Ogres finally get into the fray and sword and club clashed. Spears smashed into each other and lances struck Orcish steel....
The Order of the Sliver Templars begins to fly above the Battlefield and begin to swoop down upon the Greenskins unleashing their mounts deadly freezing breaths. The sight was terrible there breaths would freeze large chunks of Orcs and Goblins in there tracks..
The Goblin Archers try to take down the Sliver Dragons while the bitter battle waged on.
The Warlord of this Orchish invasion was Grumash Black Tooth his warriors had started this invasion and the Warlord in anger charged towards the clashing Orcs and Humans.
The King seeing the warlord attempted to challenge Grumash in single battle.
The Dragon Sororan roared as she was forced to head towards the hated Orc.
Her Mighty Claws were extended and ready as she ripped apart the Warlords bodyguards.
The King slashed with his Enchanted Sword the Ronaldi Blade. This blade turned black with the blood of Orcs and Goblins as he slashed at them attempting to get towards Grumash.
The Orcs saw there chance and tried to overwhelm the Dragon and her master but the Other riders came to there King's aide however the Goblins managed to hit King Azaire with a lucky arrow through the chest.
The King's Warriors managed to Kill Grumash and the Orcs fled across the Mountains. Hansia's warriors killed many of them as they retreated but the lost of our King was a troubling blow for he had no heirs or a Queen. Thus the Dukes and Duchess of the Kingdom were notified of the Situation and told to meet at Morkinburg to find a solution to this troubling situation...
