The NSAA invasion of Slarchers [ATTN: corporatia] (PMT, slightly open)

OOC: I do have a plot in mind for this thread, which will involve me taking all of slarchers' (who is, incidentally, my puppet) territory at its base, which is on an island near NSAA itself. other than that, do what you like...
IC: from the NSAA command base beneath black mountain city, central NSAA:
"Sir, we're recieving reports that all kraven forces are breaking off their engagements with us, and heading home in surrender."
"ah. good. Begin plan 5."
"aye, sir."
Just off the southern coast of NSAA, a large fleet of transport ships gathered with an escort of NSAA warships. 10 legions of the NSAA army boarded the said ships, and the fleet then sailed south towards the northern coast of the small-ish island that included the main base of the nation slarchers.
Above the fleet flew a large group of NSAA fighters and a single Sentry aircraft to provide air defence for the fleet.
OOC: i'll post some more (including a response from slarchers) tomorrow.
also, there will be no puppet-wanking involved, I intend for these two nations to remain at war, and if slarchers is defeated, i shall cease playing it, and bring in a different puppet.

Slarchers
04-02-2006, 20:06
OOC: step right up raven, just remember, you're in range of my home air bases and naval forces, and facing some of NSAA's best forces, so be prepared to get a bit flattened...
IC: an office in Base 1, slarchers' capital.
"Sir, we have reports of a force of NSAA ships heading our way"
"Damn. why arent they tied up against kraven and raven still?"
"apparently kraven has been defeated, which freed up forces to attack us."
"aw crap. inform the CEO."
"yes sir."
Later, in the CEO's office:
"why wasnt i told that kraven were defeated?"[CEO George Horath]
"i'm sorry sir, i didnt..."[an assistant]
"thats enough. guards, take him away and shoot him"
"no, sir, please, it wont happen again."
"why is this man still here?"
"sorry sir, we're taking him away now..." [guards pull the assistant out of the room]
"right, now somebody find me a replacement for that incompetent fool, and then get all the naval force you can over to intercept that NSAA force."
"sir, we wont have enough force to stop them, we were'nt expecting this, so our navy is all at the other stations."[another aide]
"damn. okay, have the naval forces take me and those command personell they can hold, and sail for base 3. you will stay here and defend this base with your lives."
"yes sir."
all of the forces at base 1 are put on high alert and move into position to block the NSAA assault.

The NSAA naval force moved rapidly towards the Slarchers base, getting there shortly after the evacuation ships left, and began to bombard the slarchers shore defences to defeat any attempt to stop the landing. under the cover of this fire, the NSAA ground troops disembarked into landing boats, and onto helicopter assault craft, which then sped on-shore and began dropping off the troops.
OOC: this is to save time switching accounts, and writing more, and no, I'm not godmodding myself all the way, there will be effective resistance from the slarchers forces soon, just not yet...
IC again: The NSAA forces landed unopposed, as the slarchers forces fell back in dissaray from the bombardment. the slarchers forces re-formed a short distance inland from the NSAA landing position, while many more NSAA forces landed and jets flew overhead to begin attacking the slarchers positions. soon the NSAA forces had set up an enclave around the original landing site, and sent out several small forces of power-armour troops to probe the slarchers defences. More NSAA hardware was being landed all the time, and artillery opened up to add to the shock value of the air strikes.
OOC: any corporatia nations that want to be involved, hop right in, the far side of the island from NSAA is clear for now, and it'll still be safe for airborne reinforcements for a bit...

As the NSAA forces were landing, the small contingent of Slarchers planes took to the air and flew to intercept the NSAA air units. On arrival, the 20 Jaguar aircraft each launch 2 Sidewinder missiles at the NSAA aircraft, and then drop 4 Paveway 3 LGBs onto the advancing power armour.
The troops on the ground form up at the second defensive line a short distance inland from where the NSAA power armour were and prepared for battle.
OOC: The island is surrounded by sandbag walls and machine gun posts in three tiers, knwn as defensive lines. inside the third lies the wall of the base, defended by heavy machine gun bunkers and built to withstand armour-piercing rounds. inside this is the base itself, which is designed to provide good firing positions for defenders. at the center of this is the airbase and command complex, which is again defended by heavy bunkers. The base is currently under-manned and poorly maintained though, due to embezzlement of the maintenance funds by top management.

The NSAA aircraft activate their countermeasures, and break away, also launching a retaliatory swarm of 40 of the newly developed Eagle missiles at the Slarchers aircraft.
The power armour unit is blasted out of existence by the overkill amount of bombs. On seeing this, the main NSAA force becomes angry, and three full legions begin to advance towards the Slarchers lines, as the more artillery is landed, moves into postion, and begins firing in an effort to break the defenders and drive them away from their fixed defences. The Naval forces switch targets and begin bombarding with missiles and shells the inner walls on the side towards the invading force.
The NSAA infantry move forwards from cover to cover until they take up positions just short of range of the lines as other troops are also landed and take up defensive positions around the beachead.
OOC: I'll limit my actions to one post from each side per day acting against each other, and whatever actions fit that towards any others that get involved i.e. raven. The eagle missile has just gone on sale at my storefront, in case anyone wants to buy it once they see it in action.

Raven corps had an investment put into the new company and could not allow it to fall. As the war began to heat up Raven corp decided to unlease the Tick and trite weapons(see genetic weapons in sig). Not very big but very powerful these little creatures can asexually reproduce and can do so by producing 400 each. They would be a force of power as the war began to climb in hostility. A stealth Orca flew over the back part of the Idea. And released 2 ticks and 2 trites. All of which would seek out NSAA forces by the blood samples retreived from the Frenzia Conflict.

OOC: dude, you cant home on a particular nation's population. not unless its fairly isolated, and really not on a nation with the varied population NSAA has. i'm sorry, but I cant accept those unless they also hit slarchers people. oh, and if you hit me with bio-weapons this close to my homeland, i'll retaliate with my own.
IC: The main force of legion Power armour pushes forwards, and storms towards the slarchers lines, hosing them down with copious numbers of API rounds from their mounted RFGRs. The infantry follows shortly behind, moving from cover to cover up from the beach while the bombardment of the walls continues, with fire now added from the artillery. The armoured units begin moving forwards, while the assorted support units move forwards.
The tornados in the air above activate their countermeasures and break formation, cutting off their engnes for a few seconds to cause the sidewinders to pick the decoys as targets. all the missiles home on and destroy the decoys, while the planes re-form (ooc: not godmodding, sidewinders are IR only, that trick works well most of the time, also, they were fired from further away than they're meant to be...) and watch for the result of their counter-fire.

OOC: I can do that. I maybe an " Ally " of them but I also must secure assets if they are to lose this fight.

OOC: okay, thats fair. in that case, tell me when they get near something please. post from slarchers coming up...
Slarchers
10-02-2006, 23:54
OOC: from this nations point of view... :( ah well, they were going to lose this place anyway...
IC: The few slarchers troops still holding at the second line break and run almost to the man. the remainder fire back sporadically, but fail to even get near the power armour before being wiped out. the fixed defences at the third wall, however, are still manned well, and open up with machine gun volleys, and RPG rounds into the advancing NSAA forces.
In the air:
The slarchers aircraft also drop countermeasures and break formation, but the Eagle ATAMs ignore the countermeasures as the aircraft present better targets, and close in, two going after each slarchers aircraft. the pilots push their aircraft to the limits to avoid death, but the missiles close inexorably on the outdated aircraft and break into their component darts, each of which hits a fleeing plane, causing massive damage. 18 of the planes take critical damage and either explode or go into uncontrollable dives. the remaining two limp home to the Slarchers side of the lines, where the pilots eject, in an attempt to stay with the friendly forces.
OOC: also, i just remembered, you dont have any blood from the frenzia thing, as you havent over-run any corpses or hospitals from my forces yet... not that it matters if they're targeting everyone, but hey...

The Ticks made first contact with Slarchers civilian population. The group had grown more since thier landing. The Group that found the civilians now numbers in the thousnads on its own. And with the added feature of being spider like they where a force to fear in any setting.....

OOC: i'm not complaining, but bear in mind that both sides are likely to use bio-weapons.
oh, and having finally gotten round to looking at the pictures (i read up ages ago...) for your "ticks", ARGH, bloody cherubs. ah well.
(from slarchers persona, to save time:you do realise that the drop wouldnt have been in the central city area, because it is completely covered by AAA, and the only civilians are in there.)
OOC:Not to steal people away from your conflict but he could help us in Frenzia?

OOC: i am. dont think frenzia is, but i requested CIN help in t'other thread, so theres an excuse either way.
OOC:The reason we are at war in the first place is because my nation was threatened with biological weapons when we were trying to provide aid to a nation that was having problems with terrorism.

The NSAA power armour units push forwards through the machine gun fire, laying down their own barrages in return to keep the RPG gunners heads down. A few are hit by RPGs nonetheless, and are forced to retreat until their armour can be repaired. The infantry and tanks are still struggling up to the second wall, and remain uninvolved. The aircraft empty their remaining missiles into the defenders' strongpoints and fly back to reload, while carrier-borne air comes up to replace them.

Slarchers
12-02-2006, 16:39
IC:
The missiles streak down onto the walls, blowing open large gaps in them, and sending bodies flying everywhere. The men of this line are better disciplined than those of the latter though, and stand and fight, despite the destruction of most of their heavy weapons. the RPG troopers fall back in good order to prepared positions on the third line, while the remaining infantry use their AK-74s to keep the NSAA infantry back, although the power-armour is immune to their fire, they keep firing until they are over-run and killed. A few snipers move up to this line, and begin shooting for the less-heavily armoured areas on the front of the heads of the NSAA power-armour.
OOC: I know they're getting hammered, but they havent started using their tanks yet, or deployed the one other thing which could keep them alive for a while...
