For many years now, since the great Gweneddi insurrection and the ensuing Civil War that has devistated our fair land, Yr Widdfa's borders have been closed. Finally, after much hearache, enough stability has been regained in our land to re-enter the world stage and open our land to embassies once again. We have a long way to go before permanent stability and peace, but we hope that the violence of the last years will be soon forgotten and the peace can been established. We desire to establish relations with new nations as well as re-establish relations with our old allies. Thank you.

OOC: restarting my old nations, so I gotta come up with what happend
Yr Widdfa was a very large nation until one of her fiefs, Gwenedd, rose up in rebellion following the assassination of Yr Widdfa's Grand Duke Gwalcmai. The War was stopped with aid for the Allied Celtic States, the region in which Yr Widdfa was. However, not long after, the ACS was dissolved and the Gweneddi war resumed. It was devistating. Radical sects in Gwenedd gained control and took the war to levels no one had even imagined. The Capitol of Yr Widdfa, Caer Myrddin, was destroyed in a nuclear strike. Much of the nation was lost to the Gweneddi as the Widdfae people realed from the events. Finally, Sean O'Brian, Grand Duke since the assassination of Gwalcmai, was killed in a car bomb. The Parliament took matters in hand and appointed Sir Caedmon Bedwyr, a soldier who had risen from the ranks to become the Minister of War, Grand Duke.
Given a loose leash, Duke Caedmon quickly reorganized Yr Widdfa's armies and smashed the advancing Gweneddi Legion at the River Dai, near the city of Dai (recently renamed Caer Cadarvel).
After the battle, the Gweneddi forces pulled back to the territory they had gained in the north and dug in. Since then, constanty guerrilla warfare puncuated by outright battles has gone on.

Official Government Statement
Constitutional Matriarchy of Reloria

It is my pleasure to be amongst the first to welcome you to the international scene once again, on behalf of all the women and men of Reloria! We are currently new to the international stage as well, and we are reaching out to establish peaceful, hopefully long-lasting relationships with other nations.

It is with this goal in mind that I humbly request permission to establish a Relorian embassy on your soil, and happily offer the same to your own nation. Ms. Teelose Brassi would be the ambassador, supported by twenty-five civilian staff members and ten RCSF soldiers (each with a standard armament of FN F2000 assault rifles, FN Five-seveN sidearms and a couple of FN P90s between them for emergencies). If successful, she is ready to ship out within the next few days to begin her duties.

Blessings of the Goddess and good luck to you in solving your unfortunate problems. If you have need of medical or food supplies, we can try and arrange some to ease your burden, if only a little.

I look forward to hearing your response!

Bout damn time.

King Kellin Hannon.

Secret:
I greet you with bad news. Linfield is dead. Long dead in fact. He contracted a disease and had his closest and most loyal guards kill him rather than allow Death to take him at his bidding. You know how he was.

Many thanks for your interest in opening diplomatic relations with us. As for your offer of aid, thank you very much, but the situation is currently somewhat stable. Should we require aid though, we shall certainly call on you. You may open your embassy in Caer Diyvi, the new capitol. A map of our nation will be faxed to you with this message.

To Camel Eaters
It is deeply saddening to hear of his passing. He was sometimes too rash in
decision perhaps. Well, the old order passes away and we are left to pick up
as best we can. I had hoped I might retire soon about the time Gwalcmai was
killed.
