Steven Koolridge entered the Parliament Chambers w/Thunderous applause. He was an extreemly well liked minister, even though he had tendencies to get into trouble diplomatically. With almost Two Terms in Office, this would be his last, untill June. The opposite parties sat adjacent to each other, but his loving wife was in the front row.

“Thank you. Thank you. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to say the State of the Union, is strong. Our economy is flourishing, our political and moral values are solid, our crime rates, are at an all time low. It has been trying times for our Republic. As Terrorism breaks out, as human rights are violated, and we have always taken a step, to change. Others run away, we stay.
Very recently, the ways, beliefs, and the rights of our people have been threatened. They, they Kanami, b/c we are the shining example of Successful Socialism and Democracy. These anti-Socialist States, which threaten, peace, stability, sovereignty, in the world, all answer to totalitarian states, who don’t believe in democracy. They don’t believe in fundamental human rights. They believe in power, a monopolized government ran by greed, and power and wealth. They don’t believe in helping anyone but themselves. They build sweat shops in remote corners of the world, and force people to work day and night. They believe we are the enemies, they believe we answer to communists, or we stop all business. That is not our goal. We don’t wish to wage war, but we will do what needs to be done, to protect, and defend our liberties, and our way of life. We will do what it takes to fight evil. Yasashii Himuara wanted this proud nation to help the world, and spread our message. She was a pacifist but if needed, she would take up a fight. Kanami won’t turn its back on the world. We won’t turn our back on this. We will preserve our way of life, and you, the greedy anti-socialists, will not stop us.

Our National Education needs some more work. Since the time I was elected into office, Education was very big on the agenda. It still needs to be big. I purpose an Education Initiative, to improve schools, w/more funding, and provide more programs for things such as Arts, Sciences, Agriculture, Medicine, and Math. This initiative will also help those who struggle, to get the help they need why they needed. Rich or Poor, you will be entitled to a tutor. Recently we’ve abolished High School Exit Exams, and focused more on helping achieving and preparing for graduation and the work place. And it seems to be working. Graduation is up 40% from last year, and is still climbing. Sex-Education is sharply reducing the cases of HIV/AIDS, and other incurable STD’s in the country. Now it’s time to spread it to the world. I intend to create an international branch of Education, aimed at teaching specific schools, specific subjects, in specific regions. Not only to reduce AIDS and HIV in the world, but also to improve the standard of living. Reduce Poverty rates amongst families, and infant mortality. Sex-Ed has also contributed to the reduction of unwanted teenage pregnancy. That and outlawing abortions all together, we can expect it to decline further. There are concerns about the “what if factor,” “what if the mothers life is in danger?” etc. So now we need to better our medical schools, for Nurses and OB/GYNs, for Labor and Delivery, so that we can reduce the danger rates for mothers, and they don’t have to be forced to have an abortion.

Cloning and Stem Cell Research are marvelous things. We can cure disease that we’re incurable 10, 20, 100 years ago. Research even lead to a cure of the once fatal Shinjiku Syndrome, which took the life of our founding mother. However too many are now using this for greedy purposes. Selling this research on the black market, to make super soldiers, to conceive slaves, to traffic, for unethical research. We need to ban and outlaw all unethical practices of Human Cloning and Genetics Research, to reduce black market use.

We need cleaner and more efficient ways to produce energy. We’ve made great progress so far, but we still have work to do. Promoting alternative and cleaner energy sources by the use of solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear energy to reduce Pollution and Global Warming, I give a grant of 60%

With the Economy, we are working to increase trade, and reduce taxes. We need to also slightly increase the private sector, but only under the control and watch full eyes of the Government. We will continue to make our economy grow, and prosper further. Also by increasing trade with foreign nations, and balancing out the deficit will help.

So in conclusion, Kanami is strong; Kanami will prosper, and continue. We will increase our living standards and help the world to. We will not surrender to fear, and we will not waver from our course. God Bless Kanami."
