This is the IC thread.

IC:

The Norse Country was led by General Casoor, a caucasian male who was around about 6'3 tall and was in control of this small country. Within the country, his people were of Nordic stock who were prepared for war to increase their small empire. Casoor, over the last week had broadcasted a message over the radio that basically was in every household claiming that a larger nation of Whittier was demanding changes of government for Norse Country, and the taking of the outer areas of Norse Country territory until a more democratic government was created.

As he sat in his big comfy chair, his secretary-mistress, came in in a nice tight skirt and shirt and explained to him that they had received no response from Whittier. Casoor growled softly before shaking his head softly, and told her to get the Generals.

Norswich, Air Force base:

An order came over the radio to prepare the long-range bombers and early warning radio transports and fighter jets. Which had around about 50-60 planes in total, about 75% of them bombers.

Crews ran to the tarmac and began to prepare for what up coming operation.

Capital, (Iscora, Norse Country):

General Casoor over the radio said to the Norse Country people:

We have been threatened by the nation of Whittier to give up some of our territory. However, this is the system that was agreed upon when our Nordic fathers found this island nation and no one will tell us what to do. The military, especially the airforce has been mobilized and by the end of the week, over 50,000 men and women will be raised.

Thank you very much for the battalion. I think it would be perfect for any defense or offense tactics that we take against these agressors.

The confirmation had been received and already the Sturmpanzer Battalion was preparing to move, Troops lined the Docks loading up into Transports, Their Cruiser escorts sat out in the distance awaiting for the Convoy to start moving.

Reichmarshals stood on the Docks watching as Each trooper moved with perfect precision, each ones timing and drill was exactly the same as the last, each trooper perfect in their movements, not one trooper was out of time...

Emperor Class Heavy Tanks were being loaded into larger transport vessels as well as Leman Russ Battletanks, These would give the Norse Country a distinct advantage over the enemy, While the Emperor was bigger than every Main Battle tank in existence, it was quite capable of absorbing horrific amounts of damage before being taken out of action.

The Leman Russ was similar, only smaller in size, The Leman Russ was a lighter more manoverable tank, but still packed some deadly fire power...

One of the Reichmarshals was going to be sent along with the Battalion to ensure that it wasn't miss used or Corporate Secrets stolen...

Within Several Hours the Battalion was loaded up and ready for transportation, quickly the fleet was ready to set sail, and make its way to the Norse Country....

However, as you seem to have troops engaged in movement towards that area of the globe, I wish to suggest that we create an inter-army force to stop conflict between Whittier and The Norse Country. If this solution appeals to you, then I am prepared to send the 5th Airborne Section and the 3rd Infantry Batallion to assist your troops in this peace-keeping mission. I would also be prepared to place these troops under control of your officers, seeing that your military is far more professional and extensive than that of Vuam and Isma. Vuam and Isma would aso be ready to support logistically to the troops. Of course, I would ask you to create a common commandment center for such a mission.

If you are prepared to support peace in the region, then I am your ally. However, if you are prepared to support unilaterally one nation, then I reserve my position for later judgement of the situation.

The Emperor read the report concerning Whittier. There had as yet been no answer to the accusations from the Norse Country, and now the Kraven Corporation was getting involved. Whittier was a Xeraphian ally, and had been for some time. The Emperor made his decision.

" Captain, please get a message to the people in Whittier. Something to the effect that while we do not know exactly what the details are, we are prepared to aid them in their claims of territory. Oh, and get Gen. Strickland on the line for me. It appears that the area in dispute is in the Pacific where we have few, if any, forces. We'll need to figure out what needs to go there if push comes to shove."

We ourselves are not Getting involved in this War, We are only supplying a Battalion of Capitol Police to support Norse Country, We are allowing them to use the Battalion as they see fit, within a guideline that will be set out by the Reichmarshal present with the Battalion.

While we do not Promote Peace, We are looking to Futher enhance The Supreme State, Perhaps your nation would be interested in Joining the Supreme state... as hopefully does the Norse Country...

I must admit that I ignore unto the existance of the "Supreme state".

If you could care to explain.

Also, referring to the conflict between Whittier and The Norse Country, I simply ask you to :

Refuse all military exactions that are outlawed by the Geneva Conventions.
Use the Capitol Police as a preventive and defensive faction, and not entering more than 100 km into the territory of Wittier as it lied before the act of war.


Other than that, it is normal that you use your forces as you wish.

Also, I ask you to reconsider the choice of leaving such a potentially lethal force under the command of such a 'new' country, and to use your forces as a buffer between the opposing factions, and not as a weapon of destruction.

"Hmm..." Emperor Drake Yurka mused quietly as he flipped through the military data on the conflict between Whittier vs. North Country Conflict. There was something unsettling about the fact that The Kraven Corporation was moving in though, "Karth... What do we know of The Kraven Corporation?"

Karth Grimoire, the Imperial General and part-time bodyguard of the Emperor rose an eyebrow, "We were in Isolation for quite some time, but this Corporation seems to have made quite a name for itself. If they're involved in the conflict we should probably keep an eye on it. Unfortunately most of our Naval Fleet is currently busy..."

"Ah well. So be it, lets keep quiet for now and just watch from the background. I want our satellites keeping an eye on the area." He then smiled, "Oh and give me any information on The Kraven Corporation that you can. I'd like some reading material to pass the time."

The Arguns – Preparation Mode 1
The salt in his mouth, the trees swaying across his sight, his eyes a little drifty, a little teary from his height at the cliff, the wind blowing the salty particles into his eyes. Wiping his face with a ragged cloth that stanched the wind, he held his firm stance as he watched the flurrying ships begin their shipments, the soldiers marching marvellously into the chasm of the endless metal helms. War had come to the Nordic, the people they had so barely viewed off in the distance. It was as if a war was becoming unto thus, the soldiers can sense. He could sense it. The Norse Country would get what would rightly deserve to their aggressive ways.

Broken off from Jenrak a great age ago, the Arguns, the four islands of War, have begun their direct and staunch military program, under the nose of their forefathers in the mainland, to craft a disciplined and powerful fighting force, built and hewn into a blade of fear. A dark blade that would be to ravage the enemy into the ground. “They will see the blood spoilt on their precious soil, to have their small and crippled empire crushed into a fine slate of dust.” The poetic general, the tearing man, talked on atop his cliff, his men walking mindlessly to their imminent war.

“What may come, is not of my ideals, but the ideals of a greater force against the enemy. I will defeat these men, destroy their very lives, and we shall show them that a son of a bloodied father is a great son no less.” The man replied once more, the General nodding, as he turned around, atop the grassy, the twisting, and the rocky waters below. Dropping his staunch smelling rag, the man nodded, and the raunchy yells of militaristic powers engaging. His people were to be left behind, his sons to die, but at least this war would be for something, not nothing. At least, he had hoped.

The first brigades of the tiny fleet were massed together, a rag-tag militia like of steel and iron, rotting and rusting at sea, cursed through the heavy waters as they made their way towards the enemy, trudging delicately through the wading pacific. “We have to keep the element of surprise strong, and the possibility of detection low.” The General replied amongst one of his armoured transports, gliding along the water with such speed and accuracy that it seemed to float.

“How are we to take them out?” His captains asked, rifles long sleek and black at their sides, held firmly with a dangerous passion. “How are we to defeat the enemy when they have such power? Such assistance?” The soldiers asked in more depth, wondering, as they chattered amongst themselves, to which the General quietened them.

“We will strike when they strike.” The General said vaguely, to a confused murmur.

“But if they strike, then they know of our presence. How are we to strike when they strike if we are a secret force?” The captains asked each agreeing mechanically.

“Whittier is the key. When they strike Whittier, they will surely expect none from us. Hence we will send forth ours to fight. We must consult great Kelirius’ laws of battle if we are to win this war.” The General replied. Whatever he said, however, he never actually read the thick, explanatory book on which he labelled the Laws of Battle.

IC:

In the capital of Iscora where 1 million of the 6 million Norse country citizens resided in a truck, a green military truck stopped in the middle of the road. A label on its side said it was a recruting truck, and it had already gotten a total of 300 men and boys to sign up and they were preparing to leave for a secret military base. Some women watched from the sidewalk as two young men signed up to join and hopped into the back of the truck as soldiers in dark green uniforms and AK-47 strapped to their shoulders watched from the front of the truck.

General Casoor smiled softly. He has so much support from a number of nations, so he was preparing his offensive tactics against the Whittier nation as shown by the map on his table.

His Nordic nation would be one of the greatest empires alive once this war was over.

At a small plane field, a bomber and a fighter plane with crew in side were fueled up. They then shot down the run way and lifted off into the air, heading over the open ocean after passing by a mountainous cliff that dropped off into the sea. This area of Norse Country was lightly defended because it would be hard to beat back several hundred soldiers if an invader decided to invade through this way.

Analysis
“Synopsis?” The General ordered, to his fumbling yet well meaning captains, as they conferred to him a thickly and quickly scrawled piece of paper, typed up with many grammatical errors but still effective. “Is this their summarization?” The General asked, to which the captains shook their heads in disapproval.

“No, Lord.” One of them chimed up, a long, blonde haired man, tall and fair, his face clean and pale. “This is not the entire summarization, but the spy planes have yet to be deployed.” He said, referring to the large, speedy, quick winged planes that flew aboard the skies, always watching and recording the information for them. But it was a risky endeavour; if the Nordic saw a single plane, they would lose their motion of surprise.

“How many men do we have in the counters?” The General asked, referring to the large battalion that entered into the lands with them. “How many?” He asked once more, his voice firm and strong.

“As large as we could muster into a professional force.” Another captain, a tall, lanky man with wiry hair and wry eyes. “Around 300,000, as large as our stockpiles of supplies gave us.” The captain said.

At the docks near the capital of Iscora, three naval ships with a crew of 400 each, were ready to ship off to patrol the ocean ways of Norse Country territory. The captain that would lead the convoy of the three ships was Captain Daniel Ildanis who was sitting at a chair smoking a cigarette as several sailors moved by.

The three ships were mid-sized destroyers with

6 30 mm cannons at the front and left and right sides

4 50 cal machine gun implacements

8 8 mm cannon that was at the back and front of the ships

With a jerk of his arm, the three ships were untied from port and began to slowly steam away as several fighter planes flew overhead. Ildanis cracked a small smile before lighting another cigarette and beginning to puff down that one.

OOC: Actually the character of my nation would be that I would be demanding a conversion to socialism, not democracy but we can role with it. Also, I was trying to figure out my military. At the training level I usually maintain, I would have only 87 combat troops. But I can do the 50,000 thing but I would need outside training and equipment etc.

Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov addressed the world from in front the Foriegn Ministry building:

People of Norse Country, people of the world. Our nation has been slandered by the dictator of Norse Country, General Casoor. Though we have urged him to adopt democratic reforms, we have not threatened the use of military force. We believe that this deliberate false information is being used by Casoor to justify a war to divert domestic attention from the failed policies of his own regime. The accusation that we have forces on Norse Country territory, are blatantly false. The fact is that we have our own problems, maintaining security in our own nation in light of our own economic difficulties, to engage in war with a far off nation.
What General Casoor left out of his propaganda was the question of how we would invade his nation even if we wanted to. Our nation no longer has a navy. Nor do we any longer have an airforce, having been forced to sell off our ships and aircraft to help maintain our own national government. Our nation is at the point, that we are unable to maintain proper training levels for our own soldiers.
But there are people in our own government who suspect that General Casoor may be trying to take advantage our current situation to expand at our expense. The old kick them while they're down adage comes to mind.
To the people of Norse Country, we only want peace and prosperity for you people. Something your leader has denied you. We have not threatened your nation nor do we any intention of invading your nation unless we are attacked by your leader.
To the people of the world, do not believe the false propaganda being put out by General Casoore, the dictator of the Norse.


Ivanov chose not to take any questions and abruptly left the lectern and the press began to shout out questions, which he ignored.

We thank you for your support. However, we have no interest in gaining land at the expense of the Norse people. We made a suggestion to their leader that he allow democratic elections and he went berserck, threatening war and claiming we were invading his nation.
Due to the dire economic calamity that has hit our nation recently we were forced to sell off certain assetts so as to keep the national bills paid and recently had to ask our creditors for a reprieve. Our forces have been sharply reduced to 50,000 and we can't even afford to adequately train them. Let alone ship across the ocean to a foreign combat zone.
But we fear that General Casoore has his heart set on war and expansion at our expense. Our sattellite has picked up several Norse war ships leaving port and heading out to sea. We are concerned that Norse Country may be doing the old kick them while they're down routine.
Any support you can provide us would be appreciatted. We could use training for our troops, and some naval and air support if you can provide it.

OOC: Ressurected Danu, what region are you in? I can't get your national budget info on thirdgreek. But your navy is too big either way. Especially if you have only 16 million. You should move to a smaller region and find out your budget on thirdgreek or sunset and even the NS tracker. My own region, San Gabriel Valley only has two nations in it. You should have no problem getting the info from there.

While we appreciate your concerns for the people of Norse Country, we must inform you that we have no forces in Norse Country nor have we ever threatened war upon Norse Country. All we did was make a suggestion that General Casoore allow a democratic election in his nation.
Casoore is a very unstable man who makes irrational decisions like his most recent one demanding the removal of nonexistent forces from his nation, and then threatening us with war. Even if we wanted to, we do not have the ability to launch offensive operations against a distant nation. We have no navy or airforce with which to transport or support our ground forces. What we did have we were forced to sell off to pay off some national debts. We couldn't even afford to maintain our normal level of training. All we have 50,000 troops on our territory and the satellites we have in orbit. We do have 3 battle islands but we can't even afford to take those out of port. Nor do we have enough people to staff them and maintain them. Right now they are gathering rust in our national ports unable so much as to be used in training exercises. Our sattellite technicians are currently going without pay and we fear they may walk off the job and go on strike if we can't find some way to pay them soon.
Our sats have, however, picked Norse ships leaving their homeports which has causes us to be concerned in light of Casoore's recent war gestures and threats, and our own problems.
We do not want war, nor do we intend to invade Norse Country, unless we are attacked. If we are attacked we will do everything in our power to defend ourselves, including an invasion of Norse Country if possible.

I was able to find my financial data on all of those sites. I thought I was being well within realms of reality, what with my nation existing for the time that it has and to have acquired such technology as I have posted previously. Most of it is getting to the point where the nations that use it are looking for more modern repalcements. That as well as my being able to have afforded it over the time that we have existed. If you have issues with it m then I can probably pair down the force, so that it will work with whatever you have in mind. Aga in for a small nation I thought that compared to some small european nations with less of a defense budget then I have, that it was realisitic.What do you suggest?

Two Norse Country fighter planes flying over sector G5, about 100 nautical miles away from shore, spotted what appeared to be several ships that were not Norse Country in origin. The two planes did an overpass of the several ships before deciding to announce it to the HQ.

" ... HQ, we got about 8 to a dozen ships that we can see who appear military in nature. Should we warn them or open fire? ... "

Response:

" ... They are not ours, so fire if you get a clear shot, we are getting several other birds in the sky. If they get too hostile back off. "

The two planes did a turn and prepared to lock onto the lead ship.

“What – “ The General asked, his query barely out before a ringing tone alarmed on his ship.

The captain, sitting atop the pedestal, yelled a loud roaring burst. “Sir! Two enemy fighters, coming inbound on the left.” The captain said, to which he asked, “should we deploy anti aircraft?” The tension was high, the panic large. Should they risk? Should they take the fighters out and risk it?

“Take them out.” The General commanded, as all ships prepared fire, and the blaze of bullets ejected from their hose of steel.

A blaze of bullets came at the two fighter planes. The lead plane, got hit on the wings, and smoke began to appear, but it opened up with machine guns, and fired a missile at one of the ships before raising into the air, smoking from its wings and engine. It would be lucky to make it back.

The second plane, had already fired two missiles and had escaped serious damage, but it sped out of their as the lead one flopped into the ocean only the front pilot getting out before it sank into the ocean.

"Damage analysis." The General commanded to his legions, but they only nodded in respect.

"A critical turret has been hit - we'll need to flank the shores, and we can't bombard the shoreline as quick." The captains reasoned, as the General nodded.

"Alright. Thankfully that missile didn't take out too much, otherwise we would have been unready for this." He reasoned again, the smoke from his cannon rose, seeming to taunt his miscalculation.

"I want the whole infantry force on the beaches and pushing up when the bombardment is finished." The General commanded, as his captains nodded.

In a dazzling display, a small team of aircraft, rising from the ships, began to circl around them, before jolting towards the intended target - the coastline of the Nordic empire.

Several soldiers looked as they saw several specs of what appeared to be aircraft coming straight at them. On this particular stretch of beach there was around about 500 defenders, and two dozen missile launchers, and howitzers, as well as five AA guns. However, six fighter planes screamed overhead as the planes broke off in attack formation to attack the advancing planes.

At sea, Lt Johner, grabbed the body of his dead comrade and swam away from the plane as best he could. Having three children at home, he just wanted to get back to shore if he could without being picked up by the Argun forces.

"Sir, enemy forces engaged against the defenses." The captain told the General, who nodded. "They have artillery and rockets defending their position." The captain added on.

"Send out the flanks. Launch all quick footed infantry immediately to reach the beaches, do not let them fall back, and focus the bombardment fire upon the howitzers." The General told them, as they nodded.

Ships racing forwards, transports rushing through, the ripping vestiges of the cannons fired off long shots after shots, blasting off pummelling rounds against the enemy's artillery, as the speedy transports, looking as if they were gliding across water, sped up to flank the beaches. Thousands upon thousands of troops were attempting to overwhelming the enemy in both firepower, numbers and discipline. After all, they had prepared all their life a fight like, and they would not dissappoint.

Whittier Ministry of Intelligence:

Colonel Order was sipping his coffee reading the latest intell out of Norse Country. He looked over at Colonel Perry:
"Well, looks like General Casoore got his war going."
Perry looked at him with a questioning look.
"Our sats have detected a comotion in the Norse Country sea area. Looks like a missile exchange between some Norse aircraft and Jenrakian vessels."
"Any Whittierites involved?"
"None"
"Ok, keep me posted, I have to run up and let the Intelligence Minister know about this. The Secretary General is going to want to know."


Within an hour of the intell briefing from the Ministry of Intelligence, the Secretary General ordered the nation to full defensive alert.
This meant that more sats were allocated to watch Norse country and Jenrak, and the waters between Norse Country, Jenrak, and Whittier. All anti air batteries in Whittier were placed on full alert and the skeleton crew air and sonar stations were ordered to full alert to scan for anything moving into Whittier air and skies.

If only the Arguns were still part of Jenrak, if only they had still been a part of their forefathers, they would have immediately one this war...

...but it matters not. It was a war, and it would be thus so. They were the Arguns, the faithful to the General, no one else. Why should they follow the Jenrakian government when they could have the power to themselves? It was what coursed through every soldier's mind, every single soldier's thoughts when he rushed from the metal safety of the watery transport and arrived on the dangerous shoreline, the gunfire blazing around them as lead sleeted delicately through the air.

Air battle:

The six planes opened fire with missiles and machine gun fire at the advancing airplanes before dodging and spinning away, flying low and strafting the nearest ship a small transport ship before raising back up into the clouds.

Several of the planes had a bit of damage to them, but nothing too major.

Ground:

Explosions rocked the ground as a howitzer was hit directed by several missiles. Several soldiers fell to the ground either dead or wounded. Another howitzer and a missile launcher were on fire.

However about three dozen artillery shells and other ordanance was rained down onto the transport ships and the soldiers coming from the Argun transports as infantry men took up positions and opened fire with machine guns and 50 cal.

Large Air Base:

The order was given and 30 Norse Country bombers, one after the other took off, packed with fuel and bombs as they prepared to head to the target of Whittier. There was already reports of engagements between Norse Country forces and Argun forces with several fatalities.

However, it would take 2 hras before 2,500 Norse soldiers would arrive at the beach. However, another five planes were being sent.

The movements of the planes seemed erratic, quickly doding closer and closer to the enemy planes before setting off a payload of fire quickly in their path, before dodging away. Of the planes that were launched against them, a fairly unexpected number of planes fell, their shrapnel heap falling onto the enemy's ground forces below.

"How many people are ready?" The General asked from his ship, as the soldiers in the awaiting transports were tired and restless.

"They're all waiting." The captain replied.

"All 300,000?" THe General asked.

"Exactly."

"Then deploy them all. I want all soldiers on that shoreline immediately, and do not, let that shoreline go. I want it crushed to the pulp! Increase the output of the bombardment against the artillery, and have all all enemy planes busy so we can capture enemy artillery and rocket systems." The General commanded, as his captains nodded.

A large commanding force, of the remaining couple hundred thousand, began to work their way towards the shore, many a transport being crushed against the overwhelming artillery fire, but the bombarding ships would take care of that. Corpses were filling the waters, and they had to take that shoreline immediately to begin the actual invasion.

There was now about a dozen Norse Country planes in the air, firing at the Argun planes and transports. So far, there was a few transports sinking, and hundreds if not thousands of bodies could be seen.

Just then, a missile struck one of the Norse Country planes, and it crashed in the water, no chance for the pilots to escape.

Ground:

Several more howitzers had been destroyed, with at least 20 Norse soldiers dead or mortally wounded. However, infantry men began to take pot shots at the arriving Argun soldiers and opened up with 50. cal.

The Convoy was now In Norscan Waters, The Commander Radioed Norscan Command that the Convoy was here, and the Battalion of Capitol Police were ready for Deployment, a Large Black helicopter sporting the symbol of Kraven on the side, Took off from its helicopter pad and headed out to a Norscan Airbase, the Pilots informing the Norscans that a Reichmarshal attached to the Battalion was coming to meet with their Countrys Leader to discuss terms of Contract...

The Emperor looked visibly nauseated as he finished the large stack of files involving The Kraven Corporation. From a man who witnessed extreme amounts of violence and bloodshed regularly from what was done to prisoners within Obelisk, this was no small feat. Looking up from a picture of what appeared to be some horrific science fiction breeding center, with mutilated women hooked up to machines, he eyed Karth Grimoire, who stood coldly, staring at the view from the false window...

"Wow... This is pretty bad..." The Emperor said quietly before shrugging his shoulders and leaning back in the chair. After shutting his eyes for a few seconds, he finally managed to regain his composure, "So I suppose it can be said that their plans in Norse Country can be less than amiable for all parties involved?"

Karth continued staring out the window, "I think it can be assumed that they're not doing this just to defend Norse Country..."

"Bah... Well get a small section of our navy ready just in case. If things get too bad..." The Emperor sighed, scratching his cheek slowly, "We might step in. Perhaps we could salvage something from the nations involved... If not, meh."

"How many ships and submarines should I have readied?" He said with a slightly mischievious smile as he turned to the Emperor.

"Ah I don't know... Forty Combat ships total?" The Emperor smiled back, staring at his motionless guards lining the Imperial office, "Though I doubt we'll need to use them. I'm sure the other nations will make it just blow over eventually..."

Whittier Space Command Center:
Cadet Jenkins stared intently at the blips on the screen. The blimps were being beamed down to the Center from Iroqouis 15, the Intell Sat over the Pacific Ocean. 30 blimps total coming from the direction of Norse Country toward Whittier. Samsuti 3 had already calculated the speed and velocity and size of the blimps, concluding they were manmade aircraft.
Jenkins within 10 minutes had alerted his superiors to the blimps.

The Secretary General held an emergency meeting to discuss a response to coming attack from Norse air forces.
Without aircraft there wasn't much that could be done. They could deploy the Golden Dragons. One of the most advanced and fastest fighter bombers in the world. 30 enemy older tech aircraft would be child's play to one golden dragon aircraft. The problem was they didn't know just how many aircraft the enemy had. The 3 GD's could handle up to 100 enemy fighters and bombers. Including the historic F35's. The old GD pilots were surprised when agents knocked their doors down and took them to the base where the GD's were based. Where they were breifed that they would be engaged in a top secret mission against a foriegn land. (The GD is a hypersonic fighter bomber with advanced detection capabilities. It has no radar evasion features but instead relies on its great speed and maneuverability. It's based off the hypersoar project. From LA to Kabul in 1 hour kind of thing. They're extremely hard to shoot down but they're not invincible. Radars can see them but can't id them. They do have to slow down to drop their bombs on the right targets, otherwise they miss because they are going to fast or they end up bombing themselves. The same goes for firing missiles. When in dog fights they have to slow down to fire the air to air missiles or risk blowing themselves up. When out of ammo, that's when they kick their hyper drives back in. The typical GD can carry 15 GPS guided air to air or air to ground missiles.)
The Battle Islands were ordered to leave Los Angeles Harbor and head to Sonora Naval Station for safe keeping. As they left the harbor, they headed south to Mexico as a top speed of 35 knots with their skeleton crews.

A special decree was issued calling up reservists. And a telegram was sent, by secure satellite, to Xeraph requesting emergency military assistance.

"Alaric, Secretary Brezhnekov is requesting help with the Norseland situation."

The Emperor scanned the message. " Very well, we'll deploy the 6th and 22nd CBG to the area along with the 101st and 43rd AirWings. Captain, inform the Secretary that we will be sending the 13th Recon/Training Brigade to his country. They will be escorted by a squadron of Copperheads, and the HCGSs will proceed to coordinates within Whittier. The 70th MASH Unit will also be arriving."

" Yessir."

Within two hours, 48 Royal Xeraphian warships headed towards Whittier. The Rattlesnakes and Cottonmouths aboard the carriers would provide more than adequate protection for the convoy. The AirWings would deploy in 24 hours, pending landing coordinates from Whittier. The HCGSs with the 13th Recon and their Copperhead escorts were the first priority. They would be there within hours.

Alaric was a bit apprehensive about this situation. It had been a while since Xeraph had had any reason to head to the Pacific, and the Norselanders were an unknown entity. A small nation, but that didn't mean they couldn't fight.

High above the Pacific, OSS-2 scanned the area in question. There was some activity on the water, but not much happening landward. Alaric was sure that that scenario would change quickly in the next 48 hours....

The Ministry of Defense sent its response to the request for coordinates. The message was over the highly secured allied sat communications system.
The Defense Minister kicked his desk angrily. It was always bad when you could see disaster heading your way but have no means to do anything about on your own. It was like, seeing guy swing his fist toward you and being unable to duck or block or counter punch.

OOC: The coordinates can be whatever you want them to be.
I hope I described the weakness of the GD adequately enough for people to be able to understand them. But I won't be using them yet.

Gen. John Strickland, CMDR Xeraphian Forces, glanced at the commscreen. " Forty-eight hours my ass!" , he thought.

"Alaric, hostilities have commenced in the Norseland situation. Jenrak, Yurka, and now the Kravens are a factor."

" Just friggin' great," said the Emperor. " I thought we could wind this one up quickly. OK, John, let's get with it. In addition to what is currently enroute to Whittier, I want the 12th Imperial Marines and the Shadow Legions to reinforce the landings on Norseland. Your thoughts?"

Strickland mused for a second. " We'll need more naval support. Air units are for the moment adequate. The Pythons and Anacondas will have to be supplemented with three-dozen Constrictors. They'l be able to get into Norseland more quickly, drop their loads, and get back to Whittier for re-arming. The Anacondas can hit the secondary targets, and the Pythons can go for the inland cities. Eventually, we're going to have to deploy at least a half-division of Armor. And we definately need to keep an eye on Kraven."

" Yes...Kraven. Damned butchers." Alaric stared out over the grounds of the capitol for a minute. " John, how about this..............."

The planes, fired another round of missiles and machine gun fire at the Argun transport before pulling up and entering deeper into the clouds. There was several fires ranging on the coast which would be howitzers and AA guns that were destroyed. Recently, two more battalions had arrived to the area, bringing the number of 500 soldiers up to 2,500 soldiers. They fired machine guns and 50 cal at the advancing forces when they got a clear shot.

The 30 bombers, split in two as they reached the coastline of Whittier, and spotting a military base, the left wing of fifteen bombers dropped their payload of 50 tonnes and began to fly back to base, explosions rocking the ground, even though it was unknown if the Whittier base had been hit or not.

The right group of fifteen bombers continued onwards deeper into Whittier.

" All units, this is Commander Pliskin. Norse Country bombers have hit Whittier, casualties as yet unknown. Squadrons 4 through 7 break off escort and proceed directly to skies over Whittier. Engage NC units upon contact. Admiral Barone scrambling two more squadrons of Vipers from lead BattleCarrier. Pliskin out."

As the Vipers raced to meet the Rattlesnakes and Cobras, the first of the Python bombers had reached NC airspace. The Python's escort/support veered off to aid the Jenrakian pilots in the dogfight above the land forces making their way up the beaches of Norse Country. It was a madhouse. Tuning in to the communications between aircraft, the Xeraphian pilots could make little sense of who was attacking who. But, they had their orders. In just a few seconds, the Royal Xeraphian Airforce would be engaging the Norse fighters.............

To Pilots of Kraven Corporation:

The Helicopter Touched down at the Air Base, and the Reichmarshal and several Capitol Police exited the craft, The Reichmarshal awaited the Norscan leader...

As for the Convoy, they continued into Norscan Waters, heading for their Main ports, where with time, The Battalion would unload and perform its Operation...

The Reichmarshal however hadn't received word that Tactical Kommand had surrendered to Automagfreek, and continued with his Orders regardless...

General Casoor came out with several soldiers following behind. He smiled, the Kraven Corporation Unit had finally arrived, even though he himself had thought his forces had done perfectly well against the Arguns and their attack against the Whittier military base.

Walking up to the Reichmarshal he stuck out his hand and said;

"I am General Casoor, leader of Norse Country, let us go somewhere and discuss the terms of your unit arrival and action within Norse Country."

The Right-wing bombers, that numbered 15 noticied airplanes on their radar and prepared to have their tail gunner and other gunners prepare for any attack from air defences.

"I am The Reichmarshal for this Battalion.." The Reichmarshal spoke Ignoring the Officers hand, instead giving him a Salute, as he spoke his voice commanded attention and was the height of Authoritory..

The Group began to walk, behind them was the Two Capitol Police soldiers that accompanied the Reichmarshal, His trench coat lifted slighlty as they walked...

"We have a Single Battalion at your disposal, If you can tell us Exactly the Problem....I'm sure we can come to some form of Agreement"

"There will be however, a Document for you to sign, We consider this a Favour... but you will be in debt to us..."

Casoor said;

"Tensions rose with the Nation of Whittier when they asked for more democratic and personal freedom reforms from our nation as well as a part of our island territory. We then began searching our waterways and found this navy, which appears to be the ally of Whittier; Argun navy. A battle is now underway between our 2,500 soldiers and a unknown number of Argun soldiers. We would like assistance there."

Growling at the suggesting of being indebted Casoor remembered the Nordic saying;

"the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Sighing softly he said;

"We will be willing to provide any assistance to the Corporation if it is requirered. But it has to be discussed by the Generals."

"I Can assure you, Your nation will only Find Strength, Prosperity and Freedom with us.." The Reichmarshal spoke, While handing a Document over... It Simply stated that the Corporation would assist the Nordic Country with its Endeavours and would simply be Indebted and that The Corporation could return at any time to Claim that Debt...

"Our Forces are at your Main Port and are Currently being Unloaded, They will be ready to Move out in about Four Hours.... Until then, Please Discuss your battleplan with me...."

General Casoor handed back the document signed.

"As the battle for the beach is continuing, we expect that about 50% of the Argun force is at war with our 2,500 soldiers. We do not believe that our soldiers can win, but if we can weaken the enemy with our attack planes and continued fighting from the beach head, once they get into Norse Country, we have about 60,000 soldiers in all four directions that can reach the beach and upper area within several hours. We will then encircle the enemy, and with bombers and fighter planes, trap them with no escape."

"Well..." The Reichmarshal spoke.. "You already have the Advantage..." He took the document in hand and returned it to his jacket, "The Battalion has 600,000 Fighting Soldiers..."

"But you Don't need to Deploy all the Capitol Police at once... Some can be held in reserve, Or used as Peace Keepers in your cities" The Reichmarshal paused, Turning to look at the Capitol Police who were Impecable in their drill, Each one perfectly timed with the other, These made Highly disiplined Troops look like disorganised Rabbles...

"As we are here to help, We're at your Disposal, General"

Clearing his throat before he continued;

"I would suggest that 100,000 Capital police men remain in the capital of Iscora, here, while 200,000 go meet up with the 60,000 soldiers prepared to attack the Argun forces if they break through the beach-head. They will be at your command, so if you want to send some to the beach, be my quest. Also the rest should be dispersed too the three other cities, Stockholm, Valtier, and Midgard."

The base had been temporarily closed and the only ones there were the perimeter security guards who ran for cover when they saw the bombs dropping. As the aircraft encroached further into Whittier territory, they were being watched from above and silently acquired by waiting and watching anti-air missile stations. Upon target acquisition, 60 Wanzor GPS guided ground launched anti-aircraft missiles were launched into at both groups of fighters.

The fifteen aircraft did not see the missiles coming, but were alerted on radar. Some dodged, but one of the trailing planes was hit by three missiles, its left wing shearing off and its cockpit exploding as a missile hit it killing the pilot and the co-pilot, out of the crew of seven, only two were able to eject. The plane began to sink in the sky slowly crashing into the ground, burning brightly.

Another plane, exploded in its fuselodge, splitting it in two, and four of the seven crew men were able to jump out and open their parachutes, however the other three were either trapped, dead, or had no parachute.

The other bombers continued onwards, a small city up ahead. After the next few minutes, the planes flew over the small city, of about who knows the population and dropped over 100 tonnes of bombs onto the city.

As the Vipers raced to meet the Rattlesnakes and Cobras, the first of the Python bombers had reached NC airspace. The Python's escort/support veered off to aid the Jenrakian pilots in the dogfight above the land forces making their way up the beaches of Norse Country. It was a madhouse. Tuning in to the communications between aircraft, the Xeraphian pilots could make little sense of who was attacking who. But, they had their orders. In just a few seconds, the Royal Xeraphian Airforce would be engaging the Norse fighters.............


As the Vipers and Rattlesnakes dove out of the sun, Gatling Guns blazing, they cut right through the NC bombers who were in the process of dropping their payloads on Whitterian cities. Two of the Rattlesnakes were shot out of the sky by the NC bombers, but two of the bombers exploded in midair as a result of the A/A missiles of the Xeraphian fighters. The XAF pilots continued their attack on the NC bombers, who gave as good as they got. But the NC bombers had no support or escorts. They were on their own, and they eventually had to try and get back to their land bases.........with the XAF in their way......

The Pythons were wreaking havoc on the Norse cities. As the Cobras and Rattlesnakes strafed the airport and surrounding area, the bombers dropped their payloads on the main portions of the cities. Factories, seaports, air facilities, and other economic centers were targeted first. There was much antiaircraft fire coming up from the ground. One or two of the shells found their marks. However, quite a few of the AA guns were located in the civilian sections of the cities. This was unfortunate for the Norse citizens, because the Xeraphian government did not recognize the difference between military and civilian targets. If Xeraph's forces were being fired on, then all retaliation was indicated, regardless of the location.

Repeal UN Resolution 28: Free Education

UN resolution #28 is commendable because it provides the chance for free education to be brought to all students who want to get an education.

However, it should be repealed because it is to broad in its one line statement that all students under 18 should have free education. There should be another resolution created to fine-tune this resolution to ensure that their can be no loop holes or wiggle room for nations to squeeze by.

Why this resolution should be repealed is that:

(1) There are no standards set out by this resolution for individual UN nations.
(1a) For example there are no standards to what kind of education these students need to receive, even if they are inadequate to get an adequate education

(2) Some nations are not able because of their economic situation to pay for Free Education for people below 18. This resolution doesn't make mention to that.

(3) How free an education is the author of this resolution is trying to receive, free primary, secondary or post-secondary education is he trying to get?

The bombers that had dropped their payload on the Whittier city had lost another two bombers and had one disabled. Which raised the total to about 20+ Norse pilots killed or missing from the four planes that had been destroyed. Their tail gunners returned fire against the planes that were attacking them as they moved closer to the shoreline and away from Whittier.

Reports were coming in about the attack on Iscora and other Norse cities. In Iscora, several areas with high concentrations of AA guns were damaged, along with the sea port that was just outside the capital. However, it was mostly civilian areas that had been targetted.

Elsewhere: 77 Norse Country soldiers and 20+ civilians were reported killed, so over 300+ people were reportedly killed.

Seven Norse Country bombers, flew over the beach where Argun forces as well as Norse soldiers were fighting, as they moved over the enemy troops, the Norse bombers droppoed their payload onto the transport ships and soldiers down below. Explosions and fired rocked the ground and waterways as it was a direct hit. However from AA guns and machine guns from the Argun ships, one bomber was disabled, killing the co-pilot, and another crashed killing all seven crewmen on board.

Beach fighting:

The Norse Country forces continued to fire the AA guns and howitzers at the advancing Argun forces, even though they were getting tired and had mounting casualties. After a radio report came in from HQ, the signal was given and the remaining Norse troopers retreated, even though they stuck dynamite to the howitzers and AA guns before they retreated.

In the battle: 419 Norse Country soldiers were killed, 1,000 wounded, and 74 missing and believed captive.

Argun casualities: Unknown, expected high, however several dozen were captured by Norse forces.

The UPR will agree to this cease fire, on the condition that Norse Country agrees to pay $75 billion in reparations to our country.

Rattlesnake and Cobra fighters roared off the carriers with a vengeance. Signals had gone out to the mainland bases to scramble the Pythons and King Cobra fighter-bombers to resume bombing of NC inland cities. Two-hundred-seventy-thousand pounds of ordnance was slated to be dropped in 13 different cities. Xeraphian pilots did not consider the difference between civilian and non-civilian targets. Industrial, manufacturing, governmental, and civilian targets were all targeted. It was the Emperor's opinion that if a nation was foolish enough to engage Xeraph or one of it's allies, then that entire nation was fair game to be attacked. It was unfortunate that hospitals, churches, and schools were in the path of the Xeraphian line of fire, but that was what war was all about......the destruction and subjugation of the enemy. And the destruction of the Norse Country was just beginning.................

The Kraven Battalion was now unloaded and already forces began spreading out, a large Detachment of Leman Russ Battletanks as well as Capitol Police now headed for the North Territory as discussed by The Reichmarshal and The General..

Meanwhile other Forces were spread out across towns and Cities, every road Capitol Police stood watching, Guarding for possible incursions, They marched with perfect time, patrolling the Cities streets, keeping the People safe...

It would be several more Days before the Mechanised Brigade arrived in the North sector to bolster forces, Roughly 200,000 Fighting soldiers had been sent up to assist...

However, Kraven had been defeated, These forces had no Command, apart from their Mobile Command relay and The Reichmarshal... Still no Word had reached him yet that Kraven had Fallen to Automagfreek so still he persivered with the Operation...

While it might seem prudent to have surrendered or retreated, know that we are not expecting a sunrise for us. We are expecting the death of as many of the Nordic, and will spill as much Argun blood to attain that goal.

They had never adhered to the laws of Battle, the code of war back home on the mainland. Rebellious, extenuating, always independent, but now they regret the possible things they could have had when they broke off. Perhaps fighting the Jenrakian way, not the Argun way, would have been more prudent. Anger was told to be a dastardly companion, but now she came towards with open arms. The enemy was underestimated, a factor that they never took at home. Raging in a glorious fury, they had to adopt a different code of warfare – the Warfare of Repentance, the great Kharahktal. “We are deploying all legions into a phalanx formation.” The General replied, his ship shaking as he fired off endless shots of blasting artillery, his smile a deep visceral creeping notion. “We have to deploy all ideas of Kharahkta.” He said, his captains nodding in delight. It was time to get rid of the incompetent.

“Have all hands unwanted to the fray, and get them ready.” The General commanded, turning around to watch his men fight on, bullets from both enemies breaching through against each other, blood spurting and bones crackling with the ever delight of war and death. “I want all idiots and incompetent men in straps now!” He retorted, his men nodding and bowing in his fumes. This certain idea never went as much as he wanted – the enemy had known their presence, they were forced to fight on terrain against the high ground.

Nevertheless, if they could get the high ground, if they could get a hold on the beach, the shores, then they would certainly turn things around, once the lancers are ready. Not many, however, but still, it would be enough. If only the Temsplace were behind their back, the tall iron-clad soldiers of steel and furious metal. His hand banging on his desk, he yelled in anger, as another near shot took out a plane, it’s billowing crash emanating a smoke through his window, his ship’s sight of view slightly dazed.

“Fire all cannons, now!” He yelled aghast. Outside the command ports, the ships had enough. They had been through too much of this tussle to give up. They would not just go in a capture mission, no – they were intent on razing the entire terrain to a fiery ground, if it allowed an easier passage for the troops.

In minutes, the cannons all came to life, all wiring and winding and twisting and turning, clicking and clattering as they flicked aboard, lights dangling and gears chattering in the spray of the ocean waters, full and ready to blast. Fire would simmer from their helms, lead and flames exploding throughout the terrain. A jet of red and white blasts crackled, swiftly jolting through the air as sonic booms rattled into their presence, pounding furiously into the terrain, a rain of fire.

Meanwhile, on the shore, the soldiers pushed up against the Nordic men, the gunfire blazing as the lead bullets were like locusts in a desert storm, transports aflame on their metal adornment, creaking and shrieking aboard as they were bombarded, corpses falling out in pieces and people screaming in pain. Medics were not there, and they only kept pushing forwards, machetes and guns firing violently, a brilliant glimpse of the battlefield illuminated by the flares.
In the air, the planes were fighting fairly well against the enemy, the Jenrakian air force a horrible sight to see, but the Argun air force the pinnacle of elite, dodging and twisting in intricate patterns atop the abode of the cloudy sky, missiles flaring and gunfire like a blanket of water splashing in all directions. One of them, a young pilot in the cockpit of his plane, spun up as he saw the enemy approach, missiles abound, but then turned to the right sharply when a nasty debris flung towards him, like a deathly invitation of his foes.

It was hell, but it was war, and in war, there was honour to be gained. Surrender was not an option.

" Alaric, the Reichmarshal of Kraven has reached some sort of agreement with the Norse. They have a full battalion deploying into the various cities of NC and are expecting armor there shortly."

The Emperor laughed. " The Kraven Corporation. They just got their ass kicked royally by AMF. They may still have numbers, but leadership is disorganized. Perhaps the Duke would like to be part of this little war."

The Duke was Duke Avan Astran of the Dominion of the Grey Legions, one of the partner-nations of the Xeraphian Empire. He was a cousin of the Emperor. As a matter of fact, all of the nations of the Empire were related in one way or another. What was unique about the Grey Legions was that they were the only Imperial nation that was not a part of one of the two Imperial regions. They were in the newly-created region of the Empire of Eternity, Lord Damian Dreadfire's latest effort at spreading his Freek Empire. The Legions could not claim direct alliance with AMF, but perhaps Kraven would be reminded of their defeat a bit more realistically if yet another AMF- related nation attacked them.

" Captain, contact Duke Astran and have him marshall his forces to the conflict in NC. Perhaps Kraven will think twice about interfering in this war."

Nordic forces were retreating but they were falling back to the hiding 60,000-100,000 Nordic soldiers that were several miles away from the beach, surrounded by 200,000 Kraven Capital police forces. With 500+ soldiers dead, the 1,500+ movable soldiers were retreating steadily, while 120 wounded soldiers were left behind.

In the forest, there were a ton of battalions waiting with machine guns, and 50 caliber, as well as shotguns, and RPGs.

The UPR will agree to this cease fire, on the condition that Norse Country agrees to pay $75 billion in reparations to our country.

The 24-hour chance of a cease-fire has expired. We have bombed a city and a military base, and do not believe we will pay you any money at all when you wanted our Northern territory.

As Xeraph bombers were preparing to bomb thirteen Norse Country cities, there was movement in all thirteen cities to remove all children numbering 200,000 out into the countryside, while the 2.6 million citizens were ordered to bomb-shelters.

In the small city Kabura, 345 civilians were killed by errant bombs that smashed into residential neighborhoods and hospitals.

The King Cobras, being faster than the Pythons, were the first to drop their bombs on the cities. Their primary ordnance were the napalm bombs, and the firestorms created completely engulfed the government buildings. The manufacturing centers were a bit luckier, excepting the gas and oil tanks along the outskirts. The fiery mushrooms reached several hundred feet into the evening sky, incinerating the surrounding buildings for six blocks around.

Anti-aircraft guns had found their mark a few times, adding the destroyed bombers to the conflagration.

Then came the Pythons with their 600 pound frag bombs, dubbed the MOABS...the mother of all bombs. Packed with thousands of tiny, razor-sharp bits of steel, they killed the Norse population in appalling numbers. Over 400 of the MOABS were dropped on the cities. Blood ran in the gutters, and pieces of human bodies were scattered all over the place.

When the bombers had exhausted their loads, they banked left and headed back to the carriers and land-bases. About half made it back, as the NC pilots were crack shots, their A/A missiles decimating the Xeraphian aircraft.

But more were on the way, and both Xeraphian and Grey Legion land forces were now moving past the beach areas, headed inland............


ooc: casualties: 24 King Cobras and 39 Pythons shot down. Several dozen more rendered incapacitated, limping back to repair bays.

Norse bombers flew over the beach area which had been taken over by the Argun forces even though both sides had lost heavily. The bombers numbered around about 15 and had a 40 fighter plane escort who chased the Argun planes before ducking into the skies once and a while, before coming back down and attacking the Argun aircraft. The bombers, moved over the Argun territory and dropped about 100,000 pounds of bombs onto the advancing Argun forces.

In the fighting 4 fighter planes and a bomber were shot down brining to 14 pilots killed and one missing.

The bombs that were dropped onto the Norse cities were terrible but not to bad. There was damage to all districts within all thirteen cities. The highest death toll reported was about 1,450 civilians had been killed in the firestorms while another 800 soldiers had been killed, and there were unconfirmed reports that 4 Kraven police officers had been killed.

Even though 3,000+ Norse people had been killed in the violence, there were thousands of Argun dead, as well as hundreds of Xeraph and Whittier dead.

With the offer of a cease-fire from a U.N member, all Norse Country airforce units were put on hold except for in the sector of Argun invaders as the 60,000 to 100,000 Norse soldiers along with 200,000 Kraven police officers waited for Argun soldiers.

General Casoor agreed to the plans if peace talks failed, to send several destroyers and transport ships filled with Kraven and Norse soldiers to the shores of Argun, if the peacetalks failed of course.

As peace talks hadn't been agreed to yet, two bomber squadrons, numbering ten planes each flew into Whittier, and bombed two military instilations, before flying home. However, one plane was shot down and four out of seven crew was killed.

The Capitol Police facing the Argun Soldiers fought with Inhuman brutality, their black armour and black gas masks were the presecuers of death, where ever their red glowing Optics stared, their GPMG's followed, cutting a swath of destruction...

All around explosions rippled from artillery as great plumes of Sand and gravel were kicked up into the air...

The Argun soldiers ravaged against their enemies, the legions pushing and pushing, gunfire blazing in their wit and cold demeanour. There was no point in defeat, only the continued attacks. They had never fought the Kraven, nor had heard of their reputation, but they would fight on. In the battle, their enemies seemed to be as cold-hearted as their Jenrakian mainland brothers, with no qualms of the death of human lives.

"Keep these scum on the back of the waters." The corporal yelled to his men, bullets spraying about, blood dripping off the frothing mouth of his tongue. He had run out of water, so blood of his fallen comrades, flesh from his enmies remains had to do, no matter how contaminated they may seem.

"Keep the line pressing." The General said, watching his transports, rocket fire blazing into the air.

"Get ready to launch all transports."

Deep inside the bunker of Project Omega, the runways had been cleared as Cpt. Stiensen climbed into the cockpit of his Golden Dragon. Cpts Mecorick and Gullitine were climbing into theirs.
They made final checks.
Squad leader Stiensen radiod the tower to request clearance. The huge doors to the underground airstrip complex of Project Omega opened. Siensen went over the briefing in his head. The targets were had been chosen to be the most likely to inflict the heaviest damage to enemy air forces, radar and comm systems while avoiding residential areas. It would 25 minutes for them to reach their first targets.

The voice of tower control came over the system: all aircraft cleared for take off.

Stiensen, thrust the throttle foward and the advanced aircraft lumbered foward gaining speed the further foward he moved the throttle. After a few minutes he lifted up on the yoke and was airborne. He turned and began circling at 2,500 knots and waited for the other two Golden Dragons to get airborne. They were armed with 14 GPS guided warhead and 4 air to air missiles and anti-aircraft chemical laser system. The AACLS was a child of the Omega Project. It concentrated a beam of intense radioactive laser molecules at the target to cause it to either explode from overheating or malfunction and crash from overheating. Once the laser was fired at a target it would take 5 minutes for it to recharge. Hence the need for the air to air missiles. The laser could also be used to blind enemy pilots for less advanced fighters or to blind enemy troops on the ground whereby giving allied troops a huge advantage.

Once all the aircraft were in the air, they turned and headed west in formation. After about 5 minutes of flight, they pulled up on their yokes kicking in their hyperdrives, causing them to momentarily enter outer space and back in a repeating cycle at a speed of Mach 25. Which equated to 19,000 miles an hour on the up move and 15,000 miles an hour on the downward move. The fastest speed took place in the vacuum of space, 25,000 miles an hour. But the average speed of the aircraft on this mission was 19,000 miles an hour.

Within 25 minutes of this, they had entered Norse Country air space and had begun rapid acceleration. To radar on the ground it would appear as if 3 bogeys had just appeared in the middle of Norse airspace from out nowhere.
They then turned and went about firing the GPS guided missile bombs at their designated targets: airfields, radars, artillery, communications towers, dockyards, bunkers, barracks, and even Casoore's personal residential compound. Their mission was to unleash hell on the Norse and they 42 air to ground GPS guided warheads to do so. Each warhead coming in at 25,000 lbs of explosive force.
As soon as each aircraft dropped all its bombs, they checked for aircraft as they proceeded to fire their blinding lasers (BLs) at the enemy troops who were hiding from the advancing Argun and Xeraphian forces on the beaches.
They fired the weapon only for a minute before powering the system down and kicking back in the hyperdrives which would cause them to dissappear from the screens of the remaining radar installations. Their objective accomplished they returned to base to see any of their missiles had caused any damage. If they had targeted the right area, a lot of enemy troops should be blind right about now. They're sight would recover in 30 minutes of course, but hopefully Argun and Xeraphian forces who might be in the area would be able to cover the ground between them and the enemy by that time. If they moved quickly enough.

The Kraven forces, wearing heavy combat armour advanced into the fire, their disregard for their own lives as well as those of the enemy would unsettle even the most hardened defenders, their red glowing eyes seemingly staring directly at their enemies souls...

GPMG's hammered away the distinct sound of an MG42 cut the air like a shrill siren, While The Heavy Leman Russ battle tanks Decended upon the defenders...

Their 170mm HE smooth bores traversed targeting troop formations, while their side sponson assault cannons opened fire, strafing troop lines...

Basilisk Heavy artillery opened fire, their large caliber Earthshaker Cannons drowning out the sounds of battle as huge shells rained down upon the rear lines of the enemy, cutting off their retreat and hitting their supply lines...

The Arguns were made to hit fast, to hit low, and to hit swift - not against heavily armoured soldiers. As cruel and tenacious the soldiers fought on, they could not simply break the Kraven line - their legions were too heavily defended, as the Arguns had prepared for a sneak attack, not a scaled battle. But it was not the end. Raging on, their anger and their glory their only sustenance in the bloodied battlefield, airplane raging in the distance as it swooped like vultures and birds avast crackling shrieks of horror.

"Keep all the machine gun fire on the infantry, and prepare all the rockets." The corporal commanded in his communicator, the blasts of the ships pummeling towards enemy lines, artillery shells twisting its way through the space at their foe. But it was not the end. Raging on, their anger and their glory their only sustenance in the bloodied battlefield, airplane raging in the distance as it swooped like vultures and birds avast crackling shrieks of horror.

The corporal commanded in his communicator, the blasts of the ships pummeling towards enemy lines, artillery shells twisting its way through the space at their foe. The Kraven Forces although suffering minor losses, kept up the attack, each trooper taking care to ensure his target was dead, the battlefield was enhanced by the Optical Mag, as system built into the gas mask that enhances the battefield, giving them zoom, infrared and various other advantages.

While the forces held the attack against the Arguns, other units of the Sturmpanzers and Leman Russ heavy support began to easily outflank the embattled defenders, tighting the noose around them, The Artillery finished with the Supply lines now worked on the Soldiers themselves, the Capitol Police, using the Command Relay gave accurate reports on troop locals, and Artillery was accuratly guided onto enemy troop formations and would no doubt have devestating effects...

However the Capitol Police had an advantage with Thermal optics, so Before the artillery opened up with conventional HE shells, they blanketed the battlfield with smoke, liberaly covering the area, the acrid smoke would make it difficult for the Argun defenders to see the Capitol Police, who, using Thermal Optics would slaughter The Arguns with minimal Oposition...

The base was alive all of sudden when the skeleton crew was joined in the morning by hundreds of government employees.
The work was grueling and they proceeded at a fast pace. Moving cranes over silos, pulling out warheads and replacing them M8 warheads (warheads with live ebola viruses) and M9 warheads (basically chemical weapons warheads with mustard gas). They were making the adjustments to 20 warheads each, 10 would have bioweapons and 10 would have chemical weapons.

Norse Country was about the learn the price of atrocities against Whittier civilians.

Supervisors walked around making sure everything was going right and according to schedule. In 48 hours, the ICBM's would be ready for launch.

And they made sure the media was there to videoize the men placing biochem warheads on the missiles.

The Arguns were not prepared for this, but they kept the flank in a circle, firing outwards at any possible enemy, their sights cut off by the unexpected attack. "Keep your firing precise." The legions said, drawing out their metal shields, "do not slow down the fire."

A message to the General, encrypted from the Whittier, had reached his desk, when he had overthought it. "Alright, pull back all forces, and keep them on the edge of the shoreline." The General replied, to the relief of the captains. Perhaps there was sense in him left, as the ships fired still at the marauding ships. Jraven technology was certainly advanced, but Jenrakian technology would rival. Scannings for the largest of the electronic signatures, they had aimed at the Kraven soldiers, a mass of bungling eletrical waves, in their oh-so-cunning technology.

The Kraven Forces reacted to the Argun fall back, by falling back themselves,

The Artillery now stepped up the Attack, Capitol Police teams loading shells into breaches at a frightening rate, while Leman Russ battle Tanks now positioned themselves back, where their smooth bore cannons could fire at Argun positions with ease...

The Capitol Police began to set up mortars and Heavy machine guns, as Supporting units met to Restock the Troopers with ammunition...

Across the base, 10 ICBM's with conventioanl 75,000 lb warheads lifted into the air before heading east at supersonic speeds high in the atmosphere.
One was headed to the Norse capital city, another to one of the enemy ships. The rest had been targeted at the concentration of Kraven troops who were battling the Arguns. The GPS spy sats tracking the enemy soldiers everymovement and correcting the targeting data of the missiles to compensate for sudden movements of the enemy.

8 heavy warheads were headed straight for the Kraven forces.

While the infantry suffered against the offending enemies, the main shisp had focused the brunt of their firepower upon the supplying Kraven forces. Any unit that looked like supplies, or possibly even the faintest of the manner of settign machinery up, were immediately under Jenrakian fire, cannons roaring in their direction.

Mercy for the Arguns was only so dim, only so slight, but they were not real Jenrakian. They had mercy, if only marginally. Rifles still aimed at their enemies, the Arguns watched carefully, their eyes intent as they still observed, eyes like predators watching, as they slowly encircled around them, trying to view. The General, in his view, was puzzled on the unexpected surrender. What had happened? What had transpired for them to stop fighting? Whatever it was, they were to be treated for their bravery - their bravery to admit surrender. The second part of the flank could be under way, indeed.

The second phase of stopping the Nordic could commence, that is, if it were not for the shining dagger in his back, as a captain slowly drew his blade against the man, his corpse falling in the glimpse of time onto the ground.

The news about Kraven's surrender flashed around the world. Alaric Tan'it, Emperor of Xeraph, immediately sent a message to Gen. Strickland and Jenrak: redouble your efforts against Norse Country. They are without an ally which has rendered the NC cities virtually defenseless.

Strickland ordered the 16th, 77th, and 49th Bomber AirWing into NC. Just under 300 Python and Constrictor bombers each holding 3600 pounds of ordnance were going in as the first wave of destruction. The second wave would be in the form of 2 divisions of Armor: 700 Beowulf, Goliath, and Wolfhound MBTs along with 200 VLS Tanks. The third wave would consist of an additional 300,000 Royal Marines and Shadow Legion Troopers. The plan was simple: roll right over the enemy with overwhelming force. Let the politicians talk. When they came up with a suitable agreement for a cease-fire, a cease-fire would happen. Until then............

Norse forces pushed against the Argun forces, firing machine guns, artillery and tank shells at the Argun forces, nearly 100,000 nearly undamaged forces against Argun forces. If they were able to wipe out this force they would be able to fight the other two.

At that same time 60,000 Norse soldiers were headed straight for the Argun to put some pressure on Argun. Since the Argun forces had advanced against the 200,000 Kraven, several thousand or more dead, the Norse forces would wipe up the Argun forces.

At the same time, civilians were preparing to sacrifice themselves if Whittier and Xeraph didn't stop there attack.

So far in this war, only 4,000 + Norse citizens were dead.

Alaric read the report of Gen. Donofrio at the Peace Conference. So far, Xeraph was the only nation represented, aside from Union Canada. Norse Country, Jenrak/Argun, and Whittier were nowhere to be seen. UC had made the statement that if the fighting didn't stop, then the U.N. would consider Xeraph and friends the aggressors.

"Like I care about the U.N.," he thought.

" Captain, inform our Silo Commanders that this Peace Conference may not happen. If Whittier and Norse Country cannot come to terms soon, then we are going to have to end this little incursion quickly. Have them set ICBM coordinates to key areas of Norse Country. Three conventional frag warheads to every one nuke. Total 36 missiles. That ought to get their attention. Launch on my command only."

Brezhnekov read the casualty report: 1.2 billion dead. The entire capital. Plus the infection had spread quickly to the other cities.
Brezhnekov's family had earlier moved to the Under Ground bunker complex of Project Omega earlier. A lump in his throat.
He and the cabinet were somber. He looked at the Minister of Defense, it was time to end the war. "Do it" he said.


45 minutes later, a lone silo in eastern half of the nation opened its doors. A lone automated warrior of death silently rose from the depths below. The Mothra supersonic stealth ICBM had never been used before. This would be its first test in time of war. It's sleek design carried a 32 kiloton nuclear warhead. The missile itself was guided by several different technologies: GPS, Infrared, Laser targeting, etc. Today it would be guided by GPS. Cities could not be moved. Smoke began to exit the bottom of the missile as it rose slowly into the air.
When exited the atmosphere it turned downward and increased to Mach 14 hurtling forward as it was guided toward the Norse Country capital.
20 minutes, a EMG missile had been launched and exploded over the Norse capital being wiping out all Norse electronic systems, including radar.

"Today is a day of great tragedy. General Casoore committed great tragedy by attacking civilian population areas in our nation. In our retaliation, we only targeted military targets. To bring an end to the war, we fired 8 ICBM's against Kraven mercenaries who were working for General Casoore.
Later this afternoon, our nation was hit by bioweapons from the Kraven corporation wiping out over 1.2 billion human beings. In response to the demands of justice, I authorized the use of one nuclear weapon against the Norse capital. I do not make such decisions lightly. But the nations who contemplate the use of WMD's against Whittier or support those who do, must be taught that there will be a heavy price for doing so.
Though, Norse Country itself did not launch the biological weapons attack, General Casoore hired and supported those who did. Therefore, his nation is accountable for the actions of Kraven Corp forces in this war. This is not what I desired. What I desired was peace. What I got instead, was the deaths of over 1.2 billion innocents.
We shall talk peace only when General Casoore resigns and face war crimes charges. If he survives the strike that is.
Further, while we before did not have any desire whatever for Norse territory, the blood of 1.2 billion, demands, in the name of justice, that Norse Country give up half of its territory to the international community. Including all of their major cities and all military bases. We further demand the total dismantling of the Norse military.
The government of Norse Country has 48 hours to respond or further retaliatory strikes will be launched against their nation.

The dead from the nuclear warhead was at 15,000 people. The cities had been evacuated from the capital and the other cities from the Xeraph bomings. About 70% of the Norse city had been destroyed, but it would be rebuilt.
