On the cover of Today’s Technopolis Times, a broadsheet noted for it’s political commentaries and business news, there is a large image, Lady Cardinal Gilda in a Capitol Police Uniform clasping on both hands the sinister helmet, her feet rest on several graves, the tombstone simply engraved with, “The Mournful war dead of Iathern, may these brave Yallakians, Novans and Xirnimites rest in peace,” in the background are several Xirnimite Flags with the Double Headed eagle clasping a hammer in each talon.


The Kraven Future of Xirnium; Fact or Fiction?

Following the Apparent Dismissal of the Novacom Delegation at the Torontian Constitutional conference several key facts have come to light, foremost upon them however is that Minister Izalian was in fact not in Torontia, but had had to delay her trip due to an emergency situation, however though eye witnesses report that a woman strikingly like Minister Izalian was present at the Conference. This reporter after further investigation discovered that the supposed Minister Izalian and her delegation were indeed nothing more than very well disguised imposters; indeed their swift exit leaving Ambassador Valcus Torrodel and General Otto Kitas to find their own way back somewhat verifies this.

This Journalist is saddened to report that damning evidence of Lady Cardinal Gilda’s conduct during the Kraven-Xirnium war was far from patriotic, images have recently come to light of the Cardinal and a Reichsmarshall apparently involved in intense negotiation. Is such a woman truly fit to be elected as party leader in the Xirnimite Causus? Especially after her conduct in Torontia of blatant judicial interference after her own judiciary had informed Novan personnel that they did not need relevant Legal codes and were instead to follow Standard Procedure, further analysis of the situation points to the Lady Cardinal hoping to garner more votes in the Xirnimite Causus by hoping for a strong isolationist platform, one that evidently has no room for trusted allies.

Subsequent withdrawal of all Technical assistance and the subsequent chaos it caused to the reconstruction efforts in the Xirnium homeland will have no doubt done much to humble the Lady Cardinal, however though there is yet further evidence of foul play when one investigates more closely into the Cardinal, it is possible that Xirnium while shying away from the God Emperor seeks to build an empire in name, An official Snubbing was given to an Amestrian delegation in favour of a meeting with a leader of one of the Saharistan War Co-ilition, despite the subsequent leader not having a long standing appointment unlike the Amestrians.

‘And here I was thinking that crazy conspiracy theories had gone out of fashion,’ laughed an unconcerned Foreign Minister on her way to work today. ‘The suggestion that I enlisted the help of the very same State that attempted to wage a genocidal war of annihilation against my nation (and which I, along with other Parliamentary members of the High Ecclesiarchy, was eventually successful in gathering an international coalition against to defeat) is, quite frankly, beyond absurd.

The rest of the baseless allegations are so asinine that I neither care to repeat nor refute them at this time. Suffice it to say that they are hilariously false. I’m sure the Foreign Ministry will publish a full refutation of the claims later on in the day, as for me I have more important issues to concern myself with. Excuse me.’

The response of the High Ecclesiarchy to the baseless tabloid rumours was a typical one, the creation of a Parliamentary Committee to investigate and report back on the ludicrous claims. It took the committe barely two hours to examine the evidence and report their findings.

In the opinion of this committee, this is a fairly confusing and convoluted claim to say the least, devoid of anything but idle speculation. Why and how would the Novan Government or any other organisation have sent impostors to the Constitutional Convention in Seattle? Assuming such impostors existed how did they get past the significant Xirniumite security in place around the conference?

What evidence exists that the delegates to the conference were not who the Novan Government claimed they were, but impostors? Assuming that the Novan delegates were impostors, where were the genuine Novan delegates and why did they not come to the conference as they had said they would?

As can be seen, there exist serious holes in this baseless assertion. The claim seems so fantastical as to be absurd, and without any evidence to support it, is therefore dismissed.

This baseless allegation is nothing less then libel. Aside from the lack of even a shred of evidence to support it, an obvious issue with its credibility, there is also the logical difficulty of believing that one of the Cabinet members of Holy Xirnium would side with a nation that wished to invade and commit genocide against the Xirniumite people.

It is also impossible to believe that a politician who has staunchly committed herself to the feminist cause of bettering the rights of women worldwide would ally herself with a movement that has as its goal the industrial-scale execution of women for use in its own breeding schemes. Finally there is the fact that Lady Gilda tirelessly worked in the mid and late stages of the Kraven-Xirnium War to gather a vast international coalition against the Corporation, which ultimately resulted in the successful defeat of the invaders.

This claim is as insulting as it is stupid, and will no longer be dignified with any further attention by this Committee.

It has been found by this committee to be completely untrue that the former Novan peacekeeping forces in Torontia were ever directed to follow any other law but the Xirniumite Law. All relevant statutes may be found online from the High Ecclesiarchy’s government website.

Furthermore, Novan delegates at the conference continued to ignore Lady Gilda’s demands not to attempt to abduct the Amestrian delegation even after she had clarified the legal situation to them.


Overal Conclusion:

The formation of this Committee was a frightful waste of the High Ecclesiarchy's valuable time and resources. We condemn the XPDP*** for wasting taxpayers' money for the purpose of investigating the foolishly ludicrous Novan tabloid allegations. Were we to do this for ever crazy conspiracy theory that cropped up, the High Ecclesiarchy would forever be dealing with cases of alleged UFO abductions and Yeti sightings. Thankfully, we do not.

The Committee recommends most strenuously that the High Ecclesiarchy ignore any further baseless allegations by the Novan media from now on.

While Lady Gilda has denied these allegations she has not covered her tracks nearly as well as she had thought, he own political faction, with it’s own extensive paramilitary branch in the Xirnimite army have yielded further evidence after further investigation, the below image is of key members of Gilda’s Military faction in the Xirnimite Admiralty meeting with Kraven Corporation Reichsmarshalls, we urge the Xirnimite Populace to make it clear to their government that she cannot continue her duplicity forever, first an extensive diplomatic farce in Torontia, before that her supposed International coalition against The Kraven Corporation, which instead of destroying it, instead strengthened the Corporation and instead resulted in the near obliteration of their Ally Kahanistan.

Also of Interesting note in Kahanistan is a large amount of Capitol Police Bodies or prisoners, there were no evacuations in Kahanistan or in Xirnium yet the death tools and the number of bodies do not correlate, when we asked a Kahanistanian Military Officer and a highly respectable Amestrian Politician they both agreed that “there is a secret project to conduct experiments on the Capitol Police captured in battle,” they then went onto say that “We knew that Xirnium had captured some Kraven soldiers during the invasion... We were aware that they were studying them, most likely conducting experiments..." they then went onto say, “It’s common knowledge that Cardinal Gilda is against it something about incompatibility with her long term goals, there have been numerous attempts on the scientists lives, security really isn’t what it should be there, we think their quietly going to kill them all off, it’s really quite worrying,”

Also of startling note is that there indeed have been several reports of large amounts of dismembered limbs and assorted body parts being found simply dumped in supposedly secret locations, this had been earlier attributed to Automagfreek wrongdoing but now we must call this into question, what is the Cardinal’s true plan? We can only assume it has something to do with the presence of a Xirnimite Admiral at the Infamous Camp 18 seen below being quite friendly with the camp’s infamous butcher, Reichsmarshal Helghan.

The rampant Problems in Torontia since the Xirnimites have taken occupation have also cast a pall on Cardinal Gilda, with key incriminating records having been recently wiped out by a mysterious Computer Virus; we must ask ourselves it this all a coincidence? And what of these damning images of Xirnimite officials meeting with their supposed hated enemy. This reporter concludes that Lady Cardinal Gilda’s Ultimate objective is to form a military alliance with The Kraven Corporation and carve out an empire, Battle maps recovered from Kravonika illustrate a Kraven battle plan for Kahanistan, of specific mention in Naval strategy are the use of allied H-44 Battleships, Xirnium is the only nation to possess such ships, and the mention of allied divisions lead by Inquisitors.

Also of horrifying note is the mysterious disappearance of large amounts of Xirnimite Fiscal Assets into unknown and highly classified projects, upon closer inspection of official waste disposal and processing sites trace elements of chemicals and pathogens typical of a biological weapons program were discovered before investigators were promptly swept away by officials under order from Cardinal Gilda, that in addition to many of the documents pertaining to the missing funds were signed by Cardinal Gilda herself, evidently this is a project of such importance that she herself must sign the documents, or risk drawing excessive attention to what will surely be her last resort should she ever be dethroned from the throne of God-Empress, which she will surely claim having orchestrated Quizikos IV downfall and herself having made the Throne impossible for anyone but the Legislature which she is a part of to ascend, evidently she is aware of some loophole which would lead to her ascension.

The subsequent denials of the Lady Cardinal serve only to further solidify the fact that something is amiss, the evidence is undeniable and is naturally a cause of great concern for all those of sound mind, we warn all of our readers to be vigilant and write in if you notice anything anomalous, as even the most minor of things could prove as decisive evidence, indeed after my last article one aggrieved Xirnimite informed us of an assassination attempt on Gilda’s closest potential political threat, Cardinal Ameas Vernius, we urge anyone with information to step forward and help save this mans life.

I regret to inform you that I and my delegation are unable to attend, however Ambassador Valcus Torrodell and Justice Harlov will by now already have arrived, I do hope that their presence will be sufficient, I once again Apologies for my non-attendance due to an emergency matter that has recently arisen.

Furthermore the Defence Minister was seen in conference with several key ministers atop the Tower of Destiny during the time, later on at the time of the supposed minister in Torontia’s Expulsion Minister Izalian had been giving a speech at a rally encouraging greater numbers of citizens signing up to the Military, which there is enclosed video evidence thereof.

Why the above transmission was not received by the Xirnimites is unknown, especially as to exactly who the imposters were as well as their reasoning, we can only presume at this moment in time that it was with the intent of damaging the Novacom State’s public image, something which at home has failed to an extreme.

Upon further investigation of the evidence and the happenings at the conference it had been further corroborated that the Minister there and the real Minister Izalian are not the same, Ambassador Valcus Torrodell went down on record as saying, “That couldn’t have been the minister, she didn’t look quite right and she held herself differently, I know the Minister but I did not know that woman, it didn’t occur to me that she could be an imposter until now,”

What is even more disturbing is how such forgeries managed to get past the Combined Novan and Xirnimite security measures, however though the misplacing of an important diplomatic transmission suggests that the imposters also had a hand in this, the Parridigram in question used by the entourage has recently of having been shot down at Valjsguard, why the ghost of this transport should be in Torontia is unknown to this committee, though there are suspicions of outside involvement, with at least the tacit consent of Admiral Kukonois, however this at present remains nothing more than a rumour.

As for massive security failings, that burden must fall on Novan and Xirnimite alike, in a desire to make the conference as enjoyable as possible guards were instructed to be as welcoming as possible and disregard any anomalies due to a concept known as Diplomatic Immunity, such a concept shall be investigated by a separate committee.

‘I believe the claims are definitely a little too silly for the High Ecclesiarchy to waste any more time addressing, the people of Xirnium did not elect us to deal with crazy tabloid rumours. The High Ecclesiarchy is a governmental institution and that implies a certain standard of seriousness. To be frank it's not possible to consider these amusing Novan stories with anything resembling seriousness.

I have heard that apparently one small Xirniumite film company, I think it may have been NFTG, has indicated that they might like to make a fictional movie inspired by some of these outlandish tales though. When you think about it, it really does have all the elements of a great action flick – intricate yet illogical conspiracy theories, sinister impostors, betrayal and, most of all, comedy.

Keep an eye out for it, I’m sure it will be great fun.
