Considering this thing's wings and tail are shaped and positioned properly for not only jet engines, but jet engines mounted on the wings, how exactly does it fly?

aircraft in this configuration exist and fly in real life, there are kits you can build that look very simmilar to this and you can take 2 of your friends in it with you and fly 1,000 miles so
