The turrent should be able to provide a large firing angle, and the Gatling gun should be able to fire explosive rounds for more effective range. We do not believe such a thing has been built before, is it satisfactory?

A 2-man crew would not be enough to use the main gun, mortars and light machinegun. A.M.I. could design a vehicle that would fill the role needed by this vehicle.

It would mount an AMI M75A1 7-barrel 23mm Vulcan Cannon which is capable of firing both a high-explosive and armour-peircing round at a rate of 3000 RPM. It could be mounted on a fully traversable turret with a firing angle between -9 to +80 degrees and is fully capable of engaging both enemy aircraft and ground targets. A cupola-mounted light machinegun would also provide extra anti-personnel firepower.

The Tempest is a highly mobile solution to armor support, utilizing the latest in automation, fiber optics and digital control systems, the Tempest is the first ‘drive by light’ armored vehicle. The vehicles two crew, gunner and driver, sit side by side in fully integrated command and control environments similar to a fighter aircrafts cockpit. These ‘cockpits’ contain two stick controls, the driver’s controls operate the sight and the vehicle movement and the gunner’s sticks controls the gunner’s sight and the turret. In the event of an emergency, either crewmember can slave the other crewmember’s controls to theirs. Because of the compact crew space, the AAV has one of the highest armor values per volume of all armored vehicles, with an equivalent armor scheme to most MBTs while only the size of a small IFV. The position of the crew section, the Tempest has an extreme armor slope that maximizes the effectiveness of the armor and minimizes profile. The multiple small hydrogen ‘stacks’ are incorporated into the frame of the vehicle to increase armor protection and create a power plant redundancy, several of the stacks can be penetrated or otherwise destroyed and the vehicle can continue functioning, at least enough to exit the combat zone (if a hybrid diesel electric drive is used, the space saved from eliminating the electrolyzer, starter tanks and fuel cell stacks is used for the engine, in this configuration the engine is forward of the crew section to provide additional front protection)

To whomever wins in the catagories of price, ease of production, technology, ease of use, and fufillmeant of the Anti Infantry role, will be awarded a contract of 25 Billion, with more if machining, production, and training is Assisted by your nations.

[OOC: Under 3.5m and you're looking at either crap tanks (NS wise), or heavy APCs/IFV range. If interested I could present the light tank I designed for the Willink competition, and for myself in general. But, it's most definately over 3.5m - more like 4 to 4.5 million.]

The AAV (Tempest) vehicle you are considering is a top of the line light armoered vehicle designed as an airmobile solution to support mechanized formations of infantry or Main Battle Tanks. It features a powerful inegrated computer network that takes much of the work and chance out of fire control and driving over rough or otherwise less than optimal terrain. The Version presented features the powerful 30mm Electrc Gattling gun capable of delivering sufficient punch via AP rounds to disable all IFVs and most MBTs(form side and rear arcs) or a powerful anti infantry weapon when loaded with fragmenting explosive rounds (computer controlled Air burst) as well as plenty of additional anti-infantry support no matter the ammo in the 30mm cannon with its coaxial 15.5mm MG and 7mm remote operated hatch MG.

We aren't purchasing a tank per say. We are purchasin a light anti infantry vehichle.

We woule be more than willing to provide agri trade, and consider on joining a partnership.

The Tempest is fairly easy to produce, extensive use of light and flexible materials contributes to a low production cost. However the design makes use of long lines of high tensile Fiberoptics which are difficult to work with an a layer of Thixtropic armor which requires specialized tools, machinery and training to apply. If you ease of production is a key requirement, a lower cost version is available without the Thixtropic layer.

Congratulations:
Mondoth wins the contract. We will wire you the money as soon as we get the complete plans and usage authorization and request that you send over technicians to assist with setup as soon as possible.

If you wish, you ay send some personel as well if you want to look into purchasing some of these tanks.

We will send technicians over immediately to begin setup for the construction. They will be carrying the complete plans for the AAV (Tempest) light tank.

Then We have to ask that you do not sell the tanks produced under this license without explicit permission from Officers of the Mondothian Government. The details of the Thixtropic armoring process are protected secrets and we cannot allow those processes become public knowledge.

Your production facility seems reasonable. We ask that a small contingent of Mondothian technicians be allowed access to the facility once it is completed for inspection. We also ask for cooperation from your Counter-Intelligence agency in securing the facility, though of course we understand if you refuse.

These terms are acceptable, we will begin building the facility.

The site has been picked and foundation laid down. However, construction has stopped due to a sudden gas shortage, transportation cost are too high to continue. We require gasoline. We are willing to pay a high price.

You're in luck, Mondoth has substantial Oil Reserves, The Tankers "Atlantean Wanderer" and "Oceanic Voyager" Have been dispatched with full loads, we can discuss prices while they are enroute.

The PR of Agonnoga wishes to advertise for foreign investment of the Sponga Oil Fields. Although full ownership cannot be given due to governmental influence, about 60 to 70 percent can be given. Also that the PR of Agonnoga is willing to trade/sell silver/iron deposits for possible aircraft, preferably civilian although military helicopters is a plus.
