The Daedalus class Battleship I.N.S. Legionarsat in orbit around a planet.

Captain McGree was looking out of the bridge window when a Solder walked up next to him.

“Sir we have unloaded the last of the supplies listed for this planet.” Said the solder

“Good now we can head back to Liam for a day before going on another one of these boring drop offs, why we don’t just add gates to these planets I just don’t know…”

Just as he finished his sentence someone announced, “incoming on sensors, looks like a Hive ship!”

“What? A hive ship here?” but before anyone could answer the Hive ship dropped out of Hyperspace its massive 5 kilometer long figure sitting in space.

“There launching Cruisers and Darts! My god there going to cull the planet”

“Raise shields, load weapons bays, and launch the fighters! We have to stop them!”

The ensuing battle was short; an old Daedalus class Battleship was no match for a Hive Ship…

“What have we got here everyone is recent Wraith movements. As you all know the Wraith normally don’t leave wild Space. But what we see here is Wraith expansion into Open Space, no one out there knows how dangerous the Wraith are. In fact we don’t even know who is out there. Thus we must warn whoever happens to be out there and stop the Wraith. Unfortunately because of normal fleet duties and holding back the Wraith ourselves we can only send a small fleet. The Loki will be the flagship along with the Hathor, Osiris, and last the Apep bomber squadron will be going. Any questions, no ok get to your ships.”

OOC: I know it’s sorta crappy for a first post but it will get better. Basically I am looking for people to have some of their people/ships encounter the Wraith and or my little task force. This is all probably very uninformative but I hope this will turn out to be a good RP

"Sir we have a hive ship droping out of hyperspace near Dweladelfia 9." "What? Yes Sir." "Contact Jedi Master Richards, tell him to scramble his fleet." "Yes Sir."

Aboard the Holy Legion Fleet Flagship the Arc Angel

"Sir we just got the word from HQ to scramble to Dweladelfia 9, theres a Hive ship." "Set a corse, and mkae the jump. Signal the fleet to move out."

The Holy Legion of Dweladelfia Prime separated form its morings, and set out for Dweladelfia 9.

OOC: So what kind of army troop wise does a hive ship have?

OOC: a Hive Ship can carry thousands of Wraith troops. armed mostly with what are called Wraith Stunners. thats basically a laser that doesn't kill but stunns. a Wraith is also much stronger then a Human. think a Wraith slaps your arm, you fall over clutching your now broken arm. they also eat by suching the "lifeforce" out of you. (if you have ever seen Stargate Atlantis they are based on Wraith from that though a little different for my own use)

Edit: and Hive Ships will commenly fly in "packs" of 2 to 12 they carry up to 3 cruisers (a smaller form of a Hive Ship without the ability to carry any craft) and 100+ Darts(Wraith fighters)

they themselfs are armed with 12 Very Very heavy Energy Cannons, Cruisers have Six cannons of flightly less power and Darts have one light cannon as well as a Transporter beem, used to pick up people from the ground. they are then stored as energy inside the Dart until dropped off inside a Hive ship

as the Wraith Hive Ship headed for Dweladelfia 9 the Queen(of this Hive Ship) spoke in thoughs to her Troops. 'prepare for the Culling' with this order three Cruisers separated from the Hive Ship, soon Darts would follow...
