The sun beat down on the shoulders of the 50 men who were kneeling in the capitol square hands and legs tied.
There was no sound except for some slight whimpering of the men.
Suddenly a man stepped up to the podium and started to speak.
"You men have been found guilty of conspiracy to assassinate Grand Ruler Varlen II.
You have been sentenced to flogging and execution... May coord have mercy on your soul..."
Suddenly 51 Van Guard in black full body armor marched from behind the speaker and each one took up position behind a prisoner except for one Van guard who had a red helmet instead of black.
"Begin!" The speaker shouted.
The van guard pulled a Cat of nine tails from there waist and began flogging the helpless men over and over again.
The floggings lasted for several minutes and the mens shouts, and crys became louder and louder."
"Stop!" The speaker shouted again.
He looked at the Red helmeted Van guard and nodded at him.
The Red Helmeted Van guard nodded lightly and began to go up and down the rows shooting every man in the chest with a hollow point round.
When it was finished the vanguard walked off and left the bodies on the sun...
