As many governments may know, excess from spending out of taxation results in government waste. Normally, this would be a bad thing. However, part of the Citizenship Contract in the Taxation Subsection explains, in short, any government waste goes toward an Excess Budget Fund, which may be spent however the Obzedat Council sees fit.
Already, a substantial ammount of that money has already been invested in foreign stock through the Raven Corporation. However, we have decided not to let the rest of the many billions accumulated over the years be wasted in waiting. We are looking to advance our overseas investments by buying stocks, properties, and so on. We eagerly await all potential offers.
