Through the darkness of the void they came; the silent, looming horrors of the Harvester fleets. Scythe class harvester Vessel's moved through the void as though guided by a Reaper's hand; a crackling glow seething about them; a sinister light in the abyss. A dark cackling upon the wind. Between these two great vessels; the grand ship of Set'thiran himself moved forth; flanked by Jackal and Dirge raiders; reinforced with three Shroud Class Light Cruisers; their curved edges gleaming against the black tapestry of space.

They advanced upon their objective; a gleaming world; a ripe world, full of the Young Races...Set'thiran gesture with his hand; and the fleet slid forth; space unchanged as they vanished; appearing nearer the worlds orbit.

The Portals began to open.

Seething holes in the fabric of reality opened; no warp-taint about these apertures; instead they let slip the silvery warriors of the C'tan; the Necron's. Destroyer's hovered forth; Gauss weapons crackling; Immortals and Warriors shuffled free from the breach; Pariah's moved with a near-human grace; while Flayed Ones slunk forth; great claws ready and hungry. They would subjugate this world; and the Great Serpent's Hunger would be sated...For now.

The Eternals upon news of the emergence of a new evil emerging in the universe they had quickly assemble a fleet and army from the front lines against the Dark Eternals. The forces they had assembled were those of the ancient universe. From a time when the Eternals and immortals wandered through the old universe without fear of encountering any evil in their journey. The immortals knowing that mortals were destroying the very things about the universe they loved above all, but they were willing to fight again for the seek of mortals and those that will come as they had done over a billion years ago.

Leading this armada were a number of true Eternals despite the fact that the Eternals were overextened as it was they knew that they could not put a thread of this dark nature. So in result the force that they had assembled was amongst the strongest assembled since the great War of Destruction.

OOC: Sorry, about not repling sooner I have busy creating a different thread. Also the Eternals are not considered a younger race as in fact they are one of the oldest in the universe.

OOC: The C'tan in their original states predate everything; born with the stars themselves.

IC:

Skeletal death stalked worlds; alight with curious manifest green energy; shimmering blasts of gauss fire that tore living beings apart. Lightning sparked and hissed and seared the landscape, dancing from the Monolith; it's weapons roaring in similar, yet larger; more powerful blasts; to those of the Necron footsoldiers. A flayed one perched over a rock, draped in tattered human flesh; skin lieing in fel strands across it's metallic body. Wraith's dodged and dove; dissapearing and re-appearing like shadows.

Set'thiran grinned; his necrodermis shifting about a falsified skull; moving into new shapes; forming a gleaming, almost serpentine death mask; watching with rapt glee as his forces descended upon the world-proper.

"Thus shall all the bastions of our food be sundered; and all sacrificed to the hunger of the Great Serpent Lord. Thus shall the race of men take their God anew; and worship, and serve; and feed their Master."

OOC: The Eternals energy existed when the ‘Big Bang’ happened. Also just to tell you in the way you feed you can only absorb the energy of the Eternals physical form and not that of their truest forms.

IC: The planet’s mortals began to flee using a number of different transportation systems devised by the Eternals in order to escape from the planet. But, yet only about a third of the population would be able to escape before the enemy ships had reached the planet. As well the planet’s automatic defense systems opened fire upon the ships of the C’tan.

The fleet of the Eternals was going to reach the planet within half an hour, but this might be to late to prevent their enemy from being able to assail the planet in any manner of way. Yet when the Eternals reached the planet they would be able to either fight back their foes or give them a hell of a fight.

OOC: During this invasion I will be able to use my Eternals to their full extent.

OOC: Well, we still consider you inferior :) Besides, I doubt you even know how we feed ;)

IC:

The ships moved with a near limitless grace; appearign and dissapearing; instantaneously teleporting from one position to another; assaulting the defences with their full, awe-inspiring Might. A blast tore at the necrodermis of one the vessels; only to crackle and reshape; continuing their assault.

The warriors of the Necron'tyr continued onwards; servants and slaves to the will of Set'thiran; as they had been for millenia; consumed by their endless desire to cleanse the living, to destroy the abhorred flesh. Set'thiran chuckled wryly; he remembered the birth of his stars and his own genesis; he remembered the long long millenia of feeding upon the seething sphere of energy; and he remembered physical form being gifted to him. He remembered being a living God to the Necron'tyr; convincing them to shrug off their flesh, to become the impacable Necrons. He remembered the Plague and the long sleep, and now; all that concerned him was his own plans; feeding, growing in strength; strengthening the Wardings.

His thoughts turned to his siblings...

OOC: Well, the Eternals have slain true gods in the past.

IC: The automatic defenses begin to fire on the Necron'tyr as they entered the range of the main defensive cannons which could devastate an entire fleet. Then robotic fighters were deployed to attack the larger ships and they began to hunt down any smaller ships they could come across. So far about an eighth of the planet’s population had been able to flee from it to different worlds in the Eternal Empire.

The Eternal fleet was now within twenty minutes of the world and they had begun to receive transmissions from the planet’s defense force. The fleet of the Eternals had also started to spread message to nearby worlds warning them of a possible attack could come from the force already attacking that one unlucky world.

Arcs of blinding lightning sails forth against the fighters; waves of raw, solar energy hurtled against the defences. The Necron's were an unstoppable horde, an implacable foe that knew no fear, no pity, no remourse. They were soulless, emotionless; guided by the singular consuming will of their God; their Master. The Serpent.

Ships that sustained too much damage faded from existence, fading out to be repaired at some distant place; some distant time.

Below, was another story; a Necron warrior was torn apart; yet as it's kin passed it, it began to reform, Necrodermis running into form again, parts and components reknitting themselves into a cohesive whole. The echoing laughter of the Serpent rolled across them all as it reared up to it's full and terrible height.

"We shall be triumphant; they are weak! Weak as the Old Ones and all their spawn! How they have peopled the Universe with fools!"
