Today early in the Morning at 2:57 A.M., Roanoke Navy SHips were attacked by "Pirate" Ships.They had the Flag of Pirates, and were firece when Fighting us.10 of our Ships were sunk, and we only sunk 3 of theres.We seek out those who attacked us, and ask why would they do it?

To the President of Roanoke Island -
We hereby condemn this act of piratic brutality, and offer you our condolences for your losses. Further, we wish to deploy the Second Carrier Battle Group of our navy to the area, with your permission, to attempt to find and destroy these pirates. The AOE Supply and the MCM Avenger will join the Battle Group to provide support. Thank you; we'll send the ships as soon as you permit us to do so, and they'll arrive within two days, given our proximity.

The Allied Union, having recently put down a piratical uprising near the naval base and resort destination of Sand Island, has decided to lend it's support to the tiny state of Roanoke Island. A provisional carrier task force lead by the Mercury escort carrier Zion have been dispatched to the area to suppress and destory the pirates who are threatening your nation's exsitence upon the high seas. Pending your permission, they will reach your territorial waters within four days.

We thank you all for helping us destory the Pirates who have klled hundreads from the attack on our Navy Ships.All requests to help us find and possibly kill the Pirates are accepted, and all Navy SHips being sent to Roanoke Island should go to Whale Cove for Mission Briefing and then sent on to your designated areas to search and destroy all Pirates in, or, around any of Roanoke Islands seas.

Our Navys Leader John Smith will be there to help fight.W ehave erports from soem fishermen and Oil Refineries out in the ocean of Pirate Ships, and Submarines from Radars, Sonars, etc.We know where they are headed, and they are headed to Whale Cove, Now.

We have a fairly large Navy at 800 ships.But, from the reports from Fishermen, and our Oil Refineries we have in our waters, they have a Navy larger then 1,000 ships ready to fight against us, and friends.

The "Pirate Ships" were Anti-Kippl Terrorists that are part of the group named, "Farshinite Republic", they probably hijacked a couple of our lower level cruisers and attacked you. We recently got a lead on where their leader is. We are sending the Kippl SpecOps AKA Patoon Omega to his underground base. We aren't going to take any of their Terrorist Bull Crap!

PS: If the ship has a pirate flag it is terrorist, if it has a flag with a K and a sword it is a Kippl undercover ship.

West Corinthia will send a small salvage fleet with medical supplies to help you. It seems like you have all the combat-ready ships you need to fight the pirates, so we see no need to devote our own navy.

Upon receiving word that your Navy had been attacked, I took it upon my own volition and manner to respond. Although I am not Der Fuhrer Dyszel, the persistant reigning dictator of my region, I act within the best interest of this region foreign affairs.

Although we normally do not take interest in any naval affair, I have taken interest in your plight. If you require assistance, I can arrange the needed help, but I stress that we will not provide naval assistance. We understand your concern.....our nation excels in ground combat, and since ships do not live on sea, we can provide assistance of retaliation on those who attack you in the first place.

If this matter can be done internally without our assistance, I will send no one, but I am interested myself in the working of foreign navies for my own purposes. If you care to turn down my troops, understandable. But please allow me to come to your nation and sit through this situation with you, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sealed with a kiss, so to speak, Levia sent out the correspondance immediately, resumming her station behind the black desk, resting her elbows onto the desk and staring across the room at the doors ahead of her.

"This is for you Mathias," she whispered, turning on the international news to stay current with world events as she waited for a response.

We would gladly accept you Ground Soldiers, for we have just uncovered there base.There base is on a medium sized Island outside of our own Waters.THey have Air Bases, Tanks, and Ground Soldiers.You can come to our Captiol, Roanoke City, to discuss some matters, and we can also talk about the curent sitiuation at our hands.

Receiving a response, Levia jumped to her feet. After the assassination of Craig in Sanctaphrax and failed attempts to determine the assassin, she had been rather bored and impatient with sitting around.

This was her oppurtunity, her one shot chance to fulfill her own goals for the region. Grabbing the black folders and papers from her desk, she shoved them into her briefcase and grabbed her clutch. Pressing her finger down on a button, "Cheryl, get my plane ready to leave within the hour and have Unit One of Division 37 on board."

Lifting her finger, she ran out of her office quickly, racing past a few people who looked at her with cocked eyebrows. Once inside the security of her room, she threw her suitcase together and packed only what she needed before heading to her plane.

In flight, she sent her response, sitting among to curious faces of at least two dozen men and women, all clad in the same uniforms.

The last six days had been quite boring for Lieutenant Michael Lee. Sure, the first days of combat had been thrilling; but after the early raids on Whale Cove, the pirates had evacuated. Comparing notes with the Allied Union had been interesting; it was good to know that Lee's F-35B was still an effective fighter. Yet, after that, the last six days had been filled with tedious recon runs and repetitive air strikes. The pirates didn't have many aircraft, and their AD was useless without their radars, which had been taken out early by Allied Union EW aircraft.

As Michael Lee took off, he looked around. The two task forces were busy firing shells and cruise missiles at predetermined targets, while missiles popped out of seemingly nowhere from the submarines. The sun was setting slowly over the Atlantic, quietly descending into the sea in an astoundingly beautiful sight. Too bad Lee lacked a camera...

The island he flew over was surprisingly ugly, with barren hills and squat buildings, which Lee turned into burning, although still squat, rubble. His squadron, having finished its sweep, turned for home. Then - fighters!

Six aircraft, the first Lee had seen from the pirates, rose out of a ravine. Although they were old F-15C Eagles, they had had the drop on Lee's squadron, and began firing their missiles.

Lights flashed within Lee's cockpit; he instinctively responded, launching flares and chaff. Now to the business of combat: spot target, lock on target, fire missile, move on. Within minutes, he ran out of targets. A quick radio check revealed two losses; fortunately, the squadron had managed to move the fight over water, so the pilots should be picked up easily. As for the pirates, who knew - or, for that matter, cared? There were no reporters here; they were all elsewhere, covering the latest news in Corinthia, the looming wars elsewhere, the celebrity murder trial du jour.

Now, as Lee landed his plane, he looked up at the stars. One stood out: Polaris, the North Star, cold and distant. Somehow, that fit his mood well.

Our Grand Emperor of the Dominion of Fascist Aristocracies wishes you to know that, although we have no concern for your losses, we shall send the Imperial Submarine Fleet and a dozen fast battleships with numerous heavy and light cruisers, commerce raider/destroyers, and the aircraft carriers HMS Dominion and HMS Pwnage under the jurisdiction of the Imperial High Seas Fleet to assist the hunting and destroying of the piratical faction and/or subversive offending nation(s) as training for His Majesty's Most Imperial Navy.

Abstract of An Analysis of Operation Sea Dragon, by the RAND Corporation -
The two-month campaign off Roanoke Island proved the success of the Beltway Security Force's 'brown-water' strategy. Our SSKs proved especially effective, destroying pirate frigates and destroyers before they could play a role in the fight.
The Hornet proved to be of some use; however, the inability to carry AWACS aircraft proved to be problematic, as we had to rely on the Allied Union's AWACS planes. Although in close waters, we can rely on the Coast Guard's EP-3 AEW+C planes, we'd advise that a new carrier be attached to the 2nd battle group.
Finally, the F-35B remains a viable aircraft in the fighter and strike roles. We advise continued purchase of this plane.

Understood. The naval units were escort support for our Air Superiority Carriers. We are sending the requested liason immediately and, with your permission, a three-division detatchment of the Thirteenth Imperial Marine Corps. to assist with the land operations once an agreeable level of cooperation has been established.

Levia unboarded, her plane landing after a long three day's flight, as she streched her muscles to reawaken feeling within them. Grabbing her clutch, she stepped out into a rather fine day, much different from the days of The Dictatorship. She instantly heard the rush of background noise, cars humming lazily, planes cruising at high altitudes, easy conversations, and dogs barking in the far distance. Such noise to her sounded vaguely familiar and gave her for once a comforting feeling......the desolate silence of The Dictatorship was all she could remember, but somewhere deep within her, she remembered the sounds she heard now, like one remembers faint glimpses of a childhood joy.

Sighing she looked back to the still curious group of young men and women surrounding her, all staring about them confused. The sounds too were unfamiliar to them, having grown up knowing nothing but war and the sounds of rifles, explosions, and pained screams. Life was seemingly unexistent to them.....the cold of war having been engrained into their lifestyles like were clothing out in public.

Turning to her division, she spoke simply and blantantly, "We are going to assist this nation in ground combat as a Special Ops/Covert Unit. You know your positions well enough by now I assume; otherwise, I would assume you'd be dead instead of standing here. We'll receive orders once we meet with the government."

The division nodded, saying nothing at all. It was clearly understood what they would be doing in an assualt.

Waiting for her ride, Levia hoped that they would take her to their government immediately, wasting no time with small talk until they had arrived.

Our sixty-thousand men may be a little too many then. :D Our Thirteenth Imperial Divion of the Thirteenth Imperial Corps is our main tank force, containing some four hundred Giestpanzers and an assortment of sp-artillery, AAA, and AT artilery. The other two divisions are our green but heavily armed and well-trained Seventeenth and Ninty-third Imperial Mobile Infantry Divisions. Covert Ops aren't our style, so we recommend a full offensive deployment of the divisions to be coordinated with the Dyszel's commando team to avoid friendly fire.

Becoming impatient, Levia snapped open her cell phone, dialing an array of numbers before bringing the phone to her ear, "Link me to her programming now.......Alright, just link me to her," she spoke impatiently before hanging up the phone and turning to her men.

"I received word Colonel Harcan Kulav of Fascist Dominion to meet with us. I suppose we may be cooperating in this movement. We'll wait for him at this nation's base headquarters, if that is to say, someone comes receives us. In the moment, you are free to move about until we are taken to the leader of this operation."

Nodding the group dispersed, looking around the airport, inspecting and taking in every fine detail about this place. This mission should not bring about many serious complications, but sometimes the unexpected happens.....it was better to be safer then finding themselves crossing the gates to hell in the after life.

Actually they are, they are still here, even if they are at a low, the Rebels are at a high with 1 million people supporting them.These pirates at a low still can fight you/us.

OOC - All right; however, we were here to fight pirates, not rebels. You should be able to handle counter-insurgency work yourself; if you need help fighting rebels, ask for help fighting rebels. The Beltway distinguishes between pirates, a threat to international maritime security, and rebels, an internal threat to a nation.
