the dark void of neutral space opened up with 3 black holes 2 mercury class war ships and a new type of federal ship came through. the 2 larger ships stooped just as the black holes closed the large sleek hulls gleaming in the light of a near by star as the floating ship's hull lights blinked, the grey soft hulls made the light situation odd, they casted large shadows on each other rumbling could be heard with in the ships, as crews ran around about there duty's.
mean while the strange new type of Federal ship, was a lot smaller... and had an, oddly enough different shape, its small grayish black sleek hull and running lights gleamed, blinked and reflected some what light from the star nearby

on the small ships command bridge, commander Xsaiver , sat on a some what small chair over looking a small command in control type set up, he could see the tables of holographic, and 3d tactical consoles and star maps, he looked over to the con officer who had a seat a few meters away on the other side of the bridge, the console was set up with neural interfaces , and communication devices .
he sighed as he looked back down to the helm officers console, its square and oval shaped consoles and panels blinked and beeped . with a swift breath the commander ordered in a somewhat loud but evenly toned voice. "Start the engine testing, all hand prepare of light jump!"
the helm officer nodded and put his hands on his console messing round with settings the small 115 m ship bursted in to action its engines pushing the ship to extreme speeds, the ship maneuvered at .30 c with relative ease as its thrusters fired burst of seemingly gas like water vapor. the ships swerved woodshed and did maneuvers like no other could. the ship suddenly came to a stop.
The commander grinned and said "Lets do it!"
with in seconds the ship was enveloped in a bluish yellow ball witch extended in to a shin beam disappearing as it went froward, nano seconds later it re appear in another spot, then it repeated this launching dud missiles at a target as it did this. the missiles accurately streamed and hit the target the small ship came to a stop seconds later.
The commander smiled and sat back a bit looking around his C&C bridge . the next test would have to wait for an hour or so as the ship got ready.
