In Velkazza, the nation's capital of Rektu, underwent a series of riots and rebellions across the cityscape. Early in the day of January 26, 2006, The Rektu Armed National was seen setting houses aflame and flogging people who supposedly spoke out against the R.A.N. after Commander Voth's ( Leader of the Rektu Armed National) motivational speech in Rektu Square to his soldiers before moving into the region of Ingsoc. In a rage, dozens of businesses closed early due to the mass chaos on the streets. We spoke with one of them earlier.
Reporter Loch : How do you feel about the action taken against Anti - R.A.N. as ordered by Commander Voth earlier today?
Bar Owner ( Named Classified) : Its very bad for business. On top of this city having enough problems with random gang fights, The R.A.N. stirred up more trouble ON TOP of that.
Reporter Loch : Do you think had this public display of beating Anti - R.A.N. and their sympathizer not occured, things would of been the same?
Bar Owner : - The Bar Owner took a moment to laugh - No, nothing would settle disputes between them. Its either one side or the other in control of Rektu, and I think the last straw has been drawn and war is starting.
Most of the buildings in Velkazza have somewhat structural damage, except in the wealthy district where the rebellion has been blockaded from. Commander Voth, Leader of the Rektu Armed National and Lord Marshal of the Iron Council declared a declaration of war within hours of the rebellion. Considering there is no way from telling R.A.N. supporters from Anti - R.A.N., there is most likely going to be massive amounts of blood spilt here in Velkazza. Our station will wait out the cityfight until someone emerges victorious. Until then, this is RKB signing off...
