The polls are now closed. The Election Results are
268 NNSIP
32 NNISP

The NNISP was crushed in the election, losing more then 50% of its seats. Not that it matters since parliament can only recommend bills to the Council appointed by the Emperor (Nick Sawatsky) or the Supreme Comrade Generalissmo (Nick Sawatsky)

Also an hour prior to the closure of the voting booths, a bill was passed with the approval of both the Emperor and the Supreme Comrade Generalissmo. In a brilliant effort to decrease voter apathy. Anyone who doesn't vote will be considered that they are perfectly happy with the current government and their votes will be automatically registered to the ruling party (NNSIP).

With a grand parade and masses of cheering people, the parliament was inaugaurated. As well as the re-inaugauration of the Council. A few dissanters were protesting nearby and were clearly threatening our peaceful population. The NNSPCOMM (National Nicksyllvanian Secret Police of Civilian Order and Morale Maintenance) were quickly dispatched and the INsurgents were imprisoned.
