So, I'm kind of new here, and I was wondering how you start a war with another nation/region.

Then each invidual nation has to roleplay on these forums, putting it down in prose that they are waging war. Think of it as writing a novel, but instead of doing itself, you're doing it collectively with a host of other nations, including allies and enemies. If novels aren't your style, think of as writing a history book collectively, page by page, attack by attack, et cetera.

Make sure it's ok with your target nation. Dogpiling sucks, but if you the sizes are about the same or if your target can bring in some allies of his own it could work out. Point is make sure it's ok with everyone.

Do not, and I mean do not forget about logistics. If you don't know how to use them and you're in a war, your role-play is screwed. Find other stickies about logistics and war. There are lots of them.
