Government Special Broadcast
"Today at 2:30 AM Supreme Councilman Clarence was pronounced dead at age 84, the cause is thought to be old age combined with acute spinal problems which have plaged Mr. Clarence his entire life. The replacement for the late Councilman could be any of three promising candidates, the announcement will come in three days." The news reporter said into the camera. "Citizens are welcome to send letters to the Governorship Council for the prefered choice in the election. The current front runners are: Matthew Lucius (Brown Party), Eric Philip (Scientist Party), and Desycates Kllheli (Blue Party). Lucius has served on the Governorship Council for 8 years and is 52 years old. Philip previously served on the Forest Council but resigned to become Leaf Holder in his Forest, he is 49 years old. Kllheli has served on the Forest Council for 15 years and is the leader of the Blue Party, he is 73 years old and the most senior politician coming into this race, yet the one with the smallest chance as his party is third out of three large political parties. So send in your choice for Supreme Councilman!" The screen fades out. A new picture appears, this time outlining the major issues and the candidates' positions, plus the party platforms for each issue.

OOC: Brown party!
They are the favorites to win the election, as the late Councilman was a Brown Party member. The Brown Party holds a significant majority in the Governorship Council, and already had 4/5 of the Supreme Council. But it could change in this election to 3/5!

None of the Above!
The only thing that comes from "None of the Above" being elected is a new set of politicians running for the position. They will be fairly similar and the three major parties will all probably be represented again.

The scientist party candidate.

but then i'm biased (i'm a biologist)

but he also seems to be non militeristic and interested in science and education so a good choice from my point of view.

also he seems to be someone my country could do buisness with the other two no.

None of the Above has taken the lead now. Brown Party is in second, which probably means they will end up being chosen in the closed election if none of the above wins.

Election Results
In a shocking development, brought on by a massive public support, None of the Above has won the election. The Supreme Council seat stays open for now, but the new election taking place tomorrow should have a more definite decision. All of the Council hopefuls must be removed from the ballot tomorrow however, and with the major Blue Party candidate out of the running, and the young insightful man out of the Scientist Party gone, the Brown Party will almost surely win. With such a majority it is no wonder they have a great selection of able and fit representatives up for the job. Tomorrow an election, which should turn out to be a slaughter will occur, even Scientists and Blues are preparing to vote for the Brown candidate and so the Browns will surely keep their seat which was in danger after the death of their Councilman Clarence.
