Our King, Fredrick the Third has announced that he is commisioning the recently established Royal Prussian Trading Company, to explore and found colonies in the African Congo, and currently our government is in talks with the Kingdom of Spain to purchase the Colonies of East and West Florida from them. Our Majesty King Fredrick the Third feels that to truly make our nation great that we must have colonies.
Recently we have received Dispatches that the Colonies of East and West Florida and Louisana have been sold to Prussia from Spain for a Price of 15 Million Marks Gold. The are being renamed

Negotiations have begun with Prussia, the new neighbors to the West and South. The meeting takes place in Baltimore, with the Prussian Embassador to the US Count Christian Gunther von Bernstorff, and the US Secretary of State James Madison being the principal parties.
The discussion produces the following provisions:
Baltimore Treaty of 1801
1) The US cedes all territorial claims to Westblume-Land.
2) The US and Prussia are granted unlimited access to the Mississippi River.
3) The US agrees to defend Prussian interests in the New World.
4) Prussia agrees to defend US interests in the event of an attack by a European power.
5) In the interests of mutual defense, both the US and Prussian ships will be able to have free access to one anothers ports.
6) Prussia agrees to pay the US a sum of 100,000 marks, deposited in Switzerland, each year for ten years.
7) Prussia commissions 7 Frigates and one Ship of the Line, to be constructed by the American government, in exchange for (OOC: What is the territory of modern day Minnesota):

My forces in Baden-Wurtenburg are merely united the small kingdoms. If you wish, my forces shall withdraw from the area. We did not know of an alliance between your great kingdom and the indiginous people. Bavaria simply wishes to obtain the resources needed to support and rebuild itself, which our current holdings do not provide.
OOC: When no one responded to my first post, I figured the smaller NPC kingdoms weren't under moderator control. Are we doing tactical/number battles or roleplaying battles? And how can Prussia have an alliance with ALL of those villages. I might understand some of the larger city-states...

OOC: no one responded because no one saw it. Your thread isn't checked very often because your bavaria. For the future you have to NOTIFY people your doing things, thats why we have the OOC thread. Which btw is where this convo belongs.

We have no interest of letting a vassal of the French Republic establish a toe hold in an area that we do not fully control yet, nor do our American Allies wish for any Interference in the running of their territories. Remember your place you are not one of the great powers of Europe anymore and so you must not act like you are. I think you should concentrate on holding on to the few colonies that you still have instead of attempting to interfere with the holdings of another nation it is not now and has never been your place.

No one is going to let you establish trade posts in ANY of their colonies, that just wasn't done. If anything you better hope i don't come along and take your colonies that you do have away from you.

January 16th, 1801
New Orleans, Louisiana Territory of New Spain
On this day Field Marshall Wichard von Moellendorff arrived to take control of Louisiana as the Military Governor of New Prussia from the current Spanish Governor Manuel de Salcedo at a special ceremony at the New Orleans Mayorial Residence. Preceding the formal ceremony was a 21 Gun Salute from the Prussian Frigate of War Deutchland which was responded in kind by Spanish forts near the city. Then they Envoy embarked along with a company of Infantry from the 6th Fußtruppen Reglementieren ‘Grenadier-Garde’ and a troop of cavalry from the 9th Dragonerregiment. Both Units march past the reviewing stand with both the Spanish and Prussian Governors and Aides demonstrating Prussian efficency and Drill. Then a symbolic ceremony of the Spanish flag being lowered by an honor guard of Spanish soldiers and being raised by Moellendorff's personal guard. Later that evening a formal ball between with all the Spanish Don's and Prussian Soldiers and Important administrators takes place in the Spanish Governors Mansion.

"We are here today to mark the occasion of friendship between our two great nations, the Kingdoms of Prussia and Spain. Who have now entered into an agreement that will forever give us a long border over which we can trade become even closer friends.
And here we are to further enrich and better our Kingdom so that Prussia can take its rightful spot in the world as one of the more powerful and wealthier nations of the world. "

After Recent defeats at the hands of the Spanish and Italians, The Ottoman turks have requested advisors from the Prussian Army to help train their armies and militia to fight better.
On Board the Frigate Jefferson, the Sloops Beowulf and Danzig Along with one Transport ship this little squadron sets out for Constantinople to off load the 250 Officers of the Advisor forces and to train alongside the Ottoman Navy, which has proved itself profecient in taking on a larger Naval force in Hit and Run tactics which the New Prussian Navy would like to adapt.
