The Battle for Red Frozopia (MT, Open to support)

An abandoned bunker, hidden in the mountains of Northern Frozopia.

Shadowy figures sit around a small table, each a veteran of the various Frozopian conflicts. At their head is the old head of Frozopian military, Phillip.

"Satellite information of the Red Tidean section of Frozopia has been kindly donated to us by Roland of Topal, and now it is time to act. Our soldiers are impatient to act, and they are more than ready. More the Red Tideans have a conflict at home to fight, and their allied occupiers have stated their reluctance to assist. This is our strategy from here forth:"

A map appeared on screen, showing all Red Tidean centres for their agents and military, or at least those visible from the ground or Topal's satellites.

"Our first move will be to remove all enemy air superiority, by attacking ALL of their air bases. We will use Frozopian royal guard for this, 100,000 of them transported in Frozopian HUMVEE's and backed up by both artillary and 130 of our own Frozopian snow dragon tanks should be enough.

They will be armed with the best of our equipment, including those long range Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Armour RPG's the Topalians have been developing across the last few years. Perhaps Frozopia's key reason for losing in the war was the loss of air superiority. This will not happen again.

The first move of the war will be an all out strike by ALL our aircrafts. Remember that if we do not strike hard in the beginning, we will suffer aerial bombings for weeks to come. Our 10 RSX Kraits will strike first, using their incredible stealth technology and our powerful missiles to destroy all AA guns defending the air bases. They will fire them from long range, and with a bit of luck the enemy AA systems should sustain enough damage for our 30 F/A 18's to mop up their aircrafts while they are still on the ground. We will be using powerful missiles soldiers! They are non chemical nor radioactive but their warheads will be huge. Remember also that we need this small airforce for the conflict

Once we have crippled their aircrafts, our jets will fall back provide aerial cover for the uncoming Frozopian guard. The Infantry will lead, with tactical units far infront of every division. These units will be in charge of destroying enemy artillary and Anti tank systems, as well as acting as scouts. The tanks will follow from the rear, for use in bombardment of the airbases.

At the same time 250,000 Frozopian Royal guard transported again by HUMVEE'S and backed up by 100 Snow dragons will strike at the enemy infantry, including mechanised, centres. They will have the majority of our Anti-tank weapons and Anti-tank artillary. In this attack the same tactics above will be used e.g. sending tactical groups ahead but our target will be very different. Expect fierce resistance in many area's, and remember at all times that are tanks are too few in numbers to be completely effective. Instead we must rely on speed, surprise and skill. Our royal guard are some of the best in the world, and this terrain is what they were raised in, this land they fight for.

100,000 Rebel recruits mixed in with 250,000 Frozopian standard army and 100,000 Royal guard will be backed by 70 M1A1 tanks and artillary. About half this force will be transported by HUMVEE, the rest civilian transports we have aquired including those we will NEED to aquire. They will target the corporate factories.

As for our remaining soldiers, they are reserve for any future attacks. They will also be used to capture the Frozopian cities under Red Tide control."

"Remember that our enemy are far better equipped, except for maybe our own Frozopian Royal guard. Their armoured units far out number ours so we must take every opportunity to prevent these weaknesses becoming a problem. Good luck gentlemen."

It had begun. Payback

OOC: Red Tidea, I need more info on your troops and distribution. The strategy here will help for future reference, I will post post the first (airborne) attack on your aerial bases soon. Do not take any of this strategy to heart, it can easily change.

700 Kilometers north of Red Tide Airbase

10 Kraits sped through the night sky, silently and near undetectable.

"Approaching potential detection zone. 100 kilometers till entry, over." Pilot Christ Bately spoke into the radio.

"Acknowledged. Formation Bravo, over."

Immediatly the 10 Jets spread out, a measure taken to reduce detection.

Christ smiled. If they were detected, as unlikely as it was, they were ordered to reach within 400 Kilometers of their target before firing off as many missiles as possible. It would reduce their effectiveness and accuracy, but it was necessary. Chris was confident they wouldn't be detected, but you can never leave anything to chance. The pilots all had their individual targets: Satellite imagery and onboard computers would help with that. All they needed to was get close enough....

The OTH RADAR was in operation, its powerful RADAR waves bouncing off the upper atmosphere and back down, hundreds to thousands of kilometers away. The Aircraft entered the possible detection zone... and nothing. Nothing happened as the aircraft continued to fly towards 500 kilometers away. Any alert by Red Tide would come out as increase in static over their encrypted radios, and nothing was happening.

The RADAR hadnt detected them... for now.

"Hold fire till ordered over."

The Jets flew onwards. 300 kilometers, 200 kilometers.......

The technician watched the RADAR screen, he wasnt bored... he was... something, its hard to tell WHAT he was with that monotonous expression he wore on his face. His eyes were drawn to a series of RADAR contacts that had just appeared 300 kilometers away... very weak ones, maybe it was debris from a train? He shook his head and thought, 'There are no rail lines nearby.' He picked up the radio and said, "This is OTH-2, we have 10 unidentified objects moving towards the base, 295 kilometers and closing, stand by for possible idnetification."

He put down the radio and watched the screen, waiting for a positive identification.

100 Kilometers.

Now the missiles had a predicted 90% accuracy.

"Prepare missiles, over."

The internal missile bay opened up, revealing the Frozopian Hammer missiles. Immediatly the onboard computer gave the missiles their pre-set co-ordinates, based on RADAR imaging. AA systems were targeted, primarily the more effective ones

"Fire." 10 Missiles shot from the Kraits. The huge war heads, if they struck, would cause large amounts of damage upon impact.

A second volley was fired, and a third that had been literally stuffed into the Kraits before the Kraits began to turn.

"Missiles fired. Beginning fly back, over."

And the Kraits hit full speed......

At a hundred kilometers the RADAR finally locked on a affirmitave on identification... the technician grabbed the radio and yelled, "THEIR FROZOPIAN KRAITS!"

In the command center the two Army Lieutenant Generals and the Airforce Lieutenant-Colonel recieved the info from the radio men. And then the words came over the radio, "VAMPIRE! VAMPIRE! VAMPIRE!" The enemy had launched their missiles.

WHIRLDWIND Anti-Aircraft/Missile Emplacements leapt to life automatically. SmartFlaK and gattling gun shells quickly filled the air, the number of cruise missiles dropped from 30 to 24, then to 18, then to 13, then the missiles impacted. Most of them hit the battery command posts for MDM-4 SAM Launchers. Each Battery Command Post was connected to a RADAR and LADAR Antennae and controlled ten launchers. 100 SAM Launchers went offline when their battery command posts blew up. Two more missed the Command Posts and hit two launchers. The final one had the luck of finding a tank yard, destroying eight MBT-66s and killing a bunch of mechanics.

The remaining SAMs would have responded... had the targets not turned back into 'unknowns' on the RADAR. Instead, two sqaudrons(1 Sqaudron=6 aircraft) of TSF-620 Fighters were scrambled, but they wouldnt be abe to take off for another 6 minutes.

LOSSES:
10 Battery Command Posts
10 Army Lieutenants
2 Launchers
8 MBT-66s
6 Mechanics
All launchers offline until extra Battery Command Posts can be brought online.

"Ok get those Kraits rearmed, refueled and back in the air. How far are the F/A 18's?" Spoke Roland
"400 kilometers sir. Travelling at max speed and well into their detection zone sir."
"Do they know their targets?"
"Yes sir, aircrafts and the OTH RADAR system."
"Good, good."

The 30 F/A 18's shot forward, each heavily equipped with Hammer missile systems.

"Prepping Missile systems over."

23-01-2006, 23:38
The OTH RADAR picked up the incoming F/A-18s, the news was transmitted to the commanding officers, who ordered the radio men to scramble the entire air wing and call the Naval Base for H/K-2 VTOL Fighters.

As the enemy jets neared, the WHIRLWIND emplacements began to fire at them, the autoguns utilising SmartFlaK. By now, alarms were going off all across the base as men ran out of their barracks and for their APC-45s and MBT-66s.

In addition the first squadron of TSF-620 fighters rose into the air. Loaded with eight ALLRAAMs and four QMAAMs, they turned and armed their missiles, the ALLRAAMs were the first to launch, LADAR Guided with a theoretical range of over a 100 kilometers, they hit mach-5 and screamed towards the F-18s. The Tyrandian Designed fighters were stealthy, and they knew the opposing F-18s didnt have powerful enough RADAR to see them.

The Frozopians managed to fire two volleys off before they began to take casualties.

"Taking fire. Repeat taking fire."

"Damn it. Ok aircrafts fire off everything you have and abor-"

Radio contact was lost as a ALLRAAM missile struck the jet, sending up an explosion.

"Unknown fighters out there! Cant detect them over."

"FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!"

Another volley was fired, this time by the much reduced force of 22 F/A 18's.

"ABORT! ABORT!"

Another jet went down. Then another and another. Pilots were sent screaming to the earth, with no time to eject, as fire struck at them from the ground and skies.

About half the remaining squadron fired off another volley before turning tail, totally blind to their airborne enemies. Despite their panick, the pilots knew their duty, and targetted strictly ground targets. There was no point throwing blind missiles into the air.

19 F/A 18's were fleeing as fast as they could. Whether they would return was another matter.

The TSFs went into pursuit, trying to bring their enemies within range of their QMAAM(Quick Manueverable Air-Air Missiles). Although the QMAAM was a deadly weapon, the harbringer of death and all that happy buisness, it had a incredibly short range for a missile(only 6 kilometer lock-on and 11 kilometer chase!).

Ground units however were hit by missiles, up to 9 MBT-66s erupted, about 18 more were put out of operation. The APCs suffered much worse casualties, 73 were destroyed and half as many put out of operation. Apporximately a hundred and fifty trucks were annihilated. But the tanks and APCs manuevered around their fallen comrades, trying to get out to the base perimeter, leaving the wreckages behind for the cleanup crews.

The base perimeter was manned and ready... infantry wise. The big AT-175 Anti-Tank Guns were manned and ready. Soldiers stood in trenches and sat in Autogun and machinegun nests. Men looked through their thermal viewers, watching for the enemy.

LOSSES:
9 MBT-66s destroyed
18 put out of operation
73 APC-45s destroyed
37 put out of operation
154 trucks destroyed
27 tank men killed
146 APC Drivers killed
154 truck drivers killed

OOC: Sorry to break this to you leafy, but for now the only target for the Frozopians are the Red Tideans (Hence Red Frozopia, not just Frozopia.) Sorry I didnt make this that clear.

IC:

The F/A 18 pilots were clear. They had been fast enough to avoid the Air to air missile response and only had to worry about the enemy aircrafts getting close. Their orders were to return to base, refuel and arm, and then get back in the air. The Kraits were already home, and Attack force 1 (OOC: e.g. the 100,000 Frozopian guard attacking the airbase.) was on the move. Already 100's of various task forces were far ahead of the main group, securing various villages and generally clearing the way for the main force. They were ordered to execute the enemy agents, there was no time nor men to send them back to the main force and guard them till the end of the war. One incident was filmed by some lucky journalists on national television:

A women, looking slightly tired and haggard walked alongside the camera. The footage was shoddy, but that could be expected in an filming environment you cant control.

"Today is seems the Frozopian rebels have moved, travelling south to the coastal military centres of the Red Tideans. They are met with cheering crowds, showing perhaps the general unpopularity of the occupiers. Oh get this, get this."

The last comment is aimed at the camera man, who turns to film some Frozopian royal guard holding a couple of Red Tidean agents, watched by a jeering crowd. Several people run from the crowd and spit on the two men, but they barely flinch. One of the Frozopian guards winks at the camera women, who suddenly looks quite flushed.

"The Frozopians promise freedom for the peoples of Frozopia, and one final unionship with Topal upon completion of the war. We will be watching this conflict with interest, Jennifer Davies in Red Frozopia out."
Red Tide2

The Consortium Agents just stand there with blank, uncaring looks on their faces. They didnt have any weapons, as they had been surprised by the Frozopians and quickly disarmed. They still wore those electronic collars around their knecks. Any attempts to non-surgically pull them off would be futile, it was as if the collars were dug into the skin itself.

The broadcasts, however, alerted the commanders of the Red Tidean Military Units. 20 H/K-1 VTOL Surface Attack Aircraft loaded with Anti-Tank Missile and Rocket Pods screamed towards the area where the little display was being held.

The F/A-18s simply could not outrun the faster, more advanced TSF-620s, who closed to 6 kilometers and fired off the QMAAM. The LADAR guided QMAAM could perform virtually any manuever an air-air missile could pull off and travelled at mach 6. It was small enough to pull skin tight turns at its high speeds. This came at a downside of short lock-on and chase range, but that was off set by the fact it could cover the short distance in less then 3 seconds. Each TSF carried four of them, with 12 aircraft that made 48 missiles.

"Holy crap!" Swore one of the soldiers, as one of the enemy jets appeared on the horizon.
"INCOMING!" Another Roared.
"Prepare the Long Range AA missile launcher!" Ordered the officer.
"Sir theres 20 of them."

Suddenly the tactical advance company felt very lonely so far ahead of the main force.

"I dont care! I want one of those planes down. Jenkins, Richard! You man the AA missile launcher, everyone else get cover and get these civilians outta here!"

"Yes sir!"

Immediatly the soldiers began herding the civilians out of the area, and this became alot easier when the jets became visible. Immediatly they panicked and ran for their homes.

"Are you ready Jenkins?"

"Yes sir!"

"Fire when in range!"

The AA missile was specifically designed to be launched by 2 men, targeting planes at high altitude using a RADAR system. The 2 men awaited the enemy jets, all of this caught on national television......

Elsewhere.

It became clear the enemy pilots were gaining, especially when they became visible, at a distant 20 kilometers..

"Turn around boys, theres no escape." Spoke the squadron leader.

Immediatly the group turned, triggering their own LADAR guided Anti aircraft missiles. They fired off 2 volleys before the enemy volley struck, leaving no survivors among the Frozopians.......

The only H/K-1 that was targetted waited until the missile was seconds away and then activated its vertical thrusters. The plane essentialy shot upwards 5 or 10 feet, and the missile, unable to follow the manuever, slid right under and lost track.

The planes now swooped in for a strafing run, racking the entire village with Rockets and 30mm autogun fire. Then they swung around and began to release bombs on any surviving buildings.

Soldiers of the 5th Airborne Division began to board C-17 Globemaster and C-5 Galaxy transport aircraft, they were to be flown to Topal Islands before being deployed to Frozopia to join in the fight against Red Tidean occupational forces by intertheatre C-130 transports. Captain Eli Bowles commanded the TOW Anti-Tank Company of the 1-13th Parachute Regiment, 1st Brigade and was one of the most mobile units in the regiment being equipped with Humvees, they were envied by the rest of the infantry since they didn't have to walk much, but they were also had to take on the enemy armour and bunkers when needed. He directed his company's troops as they backed their vehicles onto the back of transport aircraft, he commanded a hundred soldiers and had been with them for so long that he could recall all of their names. Once they hit the ground though, he knew that he'd have to learn more soon enough.

The Company watched the failed missile attempt, and knew death was upon them. Fleeing to the basements of the buildings, one group sighted an old bombshelter. The inhabitants of this house were obviously quite wealthy at one stage, and so without hesitation they threw themselves in, swinging the door shut.

Why not run in the next election for local Parliament? The general election for all Leafanistani territories is coming up and one of the bigger issues is decreased Leafanistani presense and more autonomy to Frozopia. Though opponents say that Leafanistan's Capitol Province is very similar to Frozopian climate conditions that it isn't necessary. An army on the move

The Frozopian forces were advancing, although their air support was now near non existent. Still the tactical divisions were at the front, securing small villages and removing the small resistance offered by the corporate agents. They also noted the area's of tougher resistance, sending the co-ordinates and information backwards to the main force, who would then proceed forward to destroy the threats.

Large amounts of the main army were being transported by HUMVEE, travelling south along main roads, but not shy to use of the country side. Their destination were the key military centre's, particularly the aerial base. The force were moving carefully forward, constantly keeping their anti-aircraft vehicles and infantry groups within range of protecting the Frozopian armies.

Now they were within miles of the largest military bases, and soon the battle would begin......

The Forward elements of the Frozopian forces came into range of the Red Tidean AT-175 Anti-Tank ETC Guns. These were incredibly powerful and could rip any tank to shreds, capable of hurling a SABOT shell in a very low, semi-ballistic arc over 7 kilometers. The gunners set their laser designators on the approaching Frozopian Tanks and half selected SABOT rounds, the other half HE-FRAG. They pressed the LOAD buttons on the guns rotary autoloader, which worked similar to a manual reload magnum, then they pressed the FIRE button. The guns rocked back on its stabilised, wheeled platform. The shells hurling 6.5 kilometers, far more then any tank could shoot.

So far the Red Tidean artillery guns have remained silent.

OOC: I clearly stated positioning my tanks at the rear of my force in the first post, so here we go:

IC:
The enemy had shot too early. They were clearly panicked by the approaching enemy, and so began to use their anti-tank artillary against the Frozopians. Although this put the Frozopian infantry at risk, particularly the HUMVEE's, it was necessary that the tanks remained unharmed for the moment. A few HUMVEE's were lost, as well as one tank that had advanced too far forward, but the Frozopians had many more to replace them.

The Frozopian commanders showed their experience, cooly and calmly distributing orders among the men despite the pressure exerted upon them by the general fire they were taking. The sky was lit up by flashes and explosions as enemy units targeted the lead Frozopians.

Pulling the HUMVEE's back out of range, they instead called forwards their infantry on foot, who would advance in a long spread out line, brocken up by small groups. Their objective was to destroy the enemy anti-tank and anti-artillary units. 100,000 Royal Frozopian Guard would complete the task, keeping as much anti-aircraft equipment between them offering the maximum protection they could obtain. They would move slowly, taking cover where necessary but advancing on the enemy position. They also had aerial protection thanks to the mobile AA vehicles who also remained out of the enemy Anti-tank weapons, with their weapons pointed to the sky, using LADAR and RADAR to detect enemy aircrafts and then missiles to destroy them.

To keep the enemy anti-tank weapons busy, the Frozopians set up their artillery units so as to target the enemy anti-tank weapons, weapons which the artillary far outranged. To help their accuracy, the Frozopian royal guard would help feed back enemy clusters co-ordinates back to the artillery.

The enemies firing of artillery was the moment the Red Tideans had been waiting for. The shells were quickly detected by Counter-Battery RADAR and were traced back to their source via their trajectory. A mere 10 seconds after the Frozopian Artillery fired, the Red Tidean 175mm self-propelled Artillery Guns let loose a barrage of shells on those Frozopian artillery that follishly opened fire.

The Anti-Tank Guns, seeing the enemy vehicles fall back, switched to High-Explosive Fragmentation(HE-FRAG) shells and optical gun sights. These were highly effective against infantry because they not only exploded, but also threw fragments out in all directions, killing any infantry man that survived the blast. No infantry weapons could range into the Red Tidean guns. Even worse, the AT-175s were not alone. Protecting them was a staggered line of MBT-66s and APC-45s, which also opened fire. The APC-45s twin 30mm autoguns, which were designed to take down aircraft but were HIGHLY effective against infantry, sent a stream of miniature HE-FRAG Shells into the air. The MBT-66s also fired their own 130mm ETC guns, with HE-FRAG shells.

The MBT-66 had a range of 5-5.5 kilometers, about 1,000-1,500 meters farther then the enemy M1A1s could fire. The Autoguns on the APC-45s had a range of about 2 kilometers, both the MBT-66s and the APC-45s had let the infantry advance 2 kilometers before firing. The only weapons Infantry had that could reach farther then the anti-tank guns were mortars... but those alerted counter-battery RADAR.

The enemy fire was too intense, and soon the Frozopian infantry were stuck in a no-mans land, driven forwards by sheer determination and driven backwards by enemy fire. Eventually they fell out of the autogun range after a swift retreat, but the enemy artillary and tanks were still taking a toll upon them.

Soon they were forced to dig in, digging quickly into the snow, a action they performed quickly, even under fire. After all they were Frozopians, and after 20 minutes of digging the enemy fire was largely inneffective, as the snow acted as a wall against most of the artillary fire. It also caused problems for enemy targetting systems, as the Frozopians could change position without the enemy even knowing. Still. The Frozopians had taken losses during the digging, a total of 900 Frozopians were dead and another 1100 needed to be carried back for medical attention. Not that they would be.

But without any orders to retreat, they were trapped, and although they didnt realise it their artillery behind them had been pulled even further back when the enemy began their counter artillery. There was only one thing for it. Phillips gave the order, and the Kraits were back in the air for another bombing mission, this time equipped with 3 RADAR tracking missiles each. Phillips knew his men needed artillary support to advance, and the only way to get that back was to remove the enemy RADAR systems in use.

At the same time, Phillips ordered 2 other Frozopian Royal guard forces to go 50 miles East and the other 100 miles west via HUMVEE. With them travelled a large amount of the tanks, and with a bit of luck they would be able to outflank the enemy position, considering the size of the occupying force. Both groups consisted of 50,000 Frozopian Royal guard each, backed up by 60 tanks each and some light artillary that could be transported quickly.

Soon the Frozopians would be moving with a pincer movement, cutting off the enemy retreat at the same time......

OOC:Good news Frozopia, a peace treaty has been worked out over the Red Tidean-Coalition War. It has been decided that Red Tide will withdraw from its occupying position.

IC:Then, the artillery guns fell silent, as did the tank and anti-tank guns. When the Frozopians looked out of their snow trenches they could see the big tractors that towed the AT-175 anti-tank and ART-175 artillery guns moved up to the Anti-Tank guns, hook it up, and move off, towards the base.

Top Secret Message From Red Tide Goverment to Frozopian Rebel Leaders... whoever they may be.
"It has been decided via negotiations with the coalition against Red Tide that a peace treaty has been declared. The terms of this peace treaty include the withdrawl of all Red Tidean Control over its part of Frozopia. Over the next week we will be removing forces. Please forgive us for the slowness of our withdrawal, but it is as fast as we can work out. The first to leave will be naval and air assets, followed by Military Ground Assets, followed by Intellegince-Consortium Ground Assets, followed by Tech-Com Corporation Assets, that is all. Congratulations on getting a part of your nation back."

Deep in a Frozopian mountain range, the Commanding General of the 12th Composite Wing sat hunched over a computer screen. It was amazing. Only a few hours earlier the country had been a calm place, minimal air traffic, and no real ground movements.

The McKagan zone was heavily fortified from the other zones, even though it was transparent. No land army would be able to take the zone in a single motion, however it was possibly a prolonged war could cut them off from reinforcements.

"Would someone tell me what the FUCK is going on out there!" General Drogat yelled to one of the Lieutenants supporting him.

"Apparently someone is pissed off at Red Tide, sir."

Drogat looked back at him with a "duh" expression on his face.

It was at this time various messages started flooding into the operations zone of the 12th Composite Wing.

To: Frozopia Rebellion Dudes
From: 12th Composite Wing, Frozopian Command
Subject: Indeed

It is rather unfortunate that people have determined the only way left to fight in Frozopia is by launching air raids. Regardless, what happens in the Red Tide area of Frozopia is NOT a McKagan problem. At this time I am ordering a great deal of IMAF Airpower to be deployed to our Frozopian airspace. If you do not violate the territory protected by McKagan forces, we will not become involved with the current conquest. If you do, you will find yourself an enemy of one of the most powerful airwings in history.

From: McKagan State Department
Subject: Frozopian Conflict

In these times of uncertainty surrounding the former nation of Frozopia, it is important that each and every nation realize certain key aspects to this conflict. Frozopia is not a united land under a united government, and thus the actions of a single government or nation in control thereof do not represent the opinions, policies, or goals of any other nation or government.

It is with that, we'd like to put forth a loose agreement. No nation involved in this military engagement, on either side, will use McKagan territorial waters, airspace, or land, to transport and/or attack/influence another party in this (or any other) conflict in the Frozopian sphere of activity. In return for that right, we will ensure and guarantee to everyone that no McKagan asset will influence this contest one way or another; and we will ensure that no one takes advantage of McKagan territory to gain an advantage.

This deal is pressed forward in an attempt to do one thing: Save lives. The McKagan zone of Frozopia is by far the most economically developed, with an infrastructure better than some nations that haven't gone through major wars. We would like to save this, as it ensures Frozopia, or the McKagan part thereof, will have a viable future for decades to come.

To: Frozopian Commander
From: Major-General Robert Shelby, Aequatian 5th Airborne Division

With the fighting ending and the withdrawal of Red Tidean forces, the government of Aequatio has authorized that the 5th Airborne take part in police actions within the former occupied territory and help bring order to the troubled land, with of course, the full permission of the Frozopian people.

Their was excitement in the air, as the Frozopian rebel leaders all had one question one their lips. Finally someone plucked up the courage to ask:

"Peace?" One man asked.

"Peace..... we have reclaimed Red Frozopia." Replied Phillip, his face blank.

A moments silence, as each man considered the enorminity of what he said. And then they cheered, Phillip allowing himself a grin of pleasure at the looks on the mens faces. Finally Red Frozopia belonged to its rightful owners, and not before long it would become a world power once again. But for now they would celebrate their victory, and before long everyone but Phillip was roaring drunk, boastfully discussing the successes of their Frozopian regiments.

Elsewhere the Frozopian army were celebrating also, as were the peoples of Red Frozopia, who had endured the painful tyranny of the Red Tidean forces and were now free to serve their new leader. Soon the cities under Red Tide were opening up huge drinking areas for the civilians and soldiers of Frozopia, who following old age Frozopian tradition began to burst open the bottles of Frozopian beer and vodka.

But who would he be? Roland of Topal spoke of introducing democracy for the New Red Frozopia, but reminded the Frozopian rebels that each candidates main goal must be to unite ALL of the Frozopian states, threw any means possible. Roland offered himself as a candidate, and was immediatly first choice.

But first there was diplomacy to be dealt with:

TO Major-General Robert Shelby, Aequatian 5th Airborne Division
FROM Phillip, head of Red Frozopian Military
Thank you for your previous assistance and we have decided to accept your offer of help. You will be working alongside the Anagonians in this mission as well as many Frozopians such as myself and Roland of Topal

TO 12th Composite Wing, Frozopian Command
FROM Phillip, Head of Red Frozopian Military
Please be aware we have no plans to use military force to take the remaining states of Frozopia, although we do intend to campaign for an overall uniting of all the Frozopian states under one democratic leadership.

Days later......
With the removal of all Red Tidean forces from the country, the Frozopians have began to reoccupy anything they left behind. With crowds of Frozopians cheering, their was much redistribution of the resources the Red Tideans had been hoarding, primarily of which was food. Several Topalian planes had also flown in, dropping of food for the hungrier ones.
The country would take a long time to be rebuilt, but it would be done eventually.
