Rotovia-

"Welcome back to RNN, if you've just joined us. We're following the spectacular events in the federal Senate today, when the Majority Opposition Leader Lady Valery Thebes attempted to raise a Vote of No Confidence against the Bacchus Administration's Liberal/Republican Coalition.
Behind me now, President Bacchus meets with the Liberal Party Caucus in attempts to address a situation that threatens to destabilize the arguably most powerful government in recent memory.
If you'll remember, the last time an Emergency Caucus was called the President, then recently elected leader of a small minority party, expelled nine of the twenty-three member party. In a move many thought would ruin the young Senator and his party, but instead the more loyal party went on to win the next election.
With a little help from a former rival party The Republican Party of Rotovia.
We can only wait an imagine what the next few days will bring..."
As the reporter smiles nervously into the camera, the network theme rolls across. Meanwhile more serious business then patting down a comb-over is being dealt.
Inside, the daunting image of the most powerful man in Rotovia leans across the ancient table. One hand supporting his imposing figure and the other gliding a cigar to his mouth.
A deep draw is followed by a long, gentle, exhale. Sending a cloud of smoke over the room.
"So who did it..." Finally breaking the silence, a sprite young Senator pipes in from the back.
"Who did what?" The sharp voice of the Party Secretary begins. Hinting at a man who fights to contain a quick temper.
"The Coalition holds 243 of 526 seats in the Senate. Now according to the count, at least one member of this caucus voted against us..."
"We'll have none of that!" Came that sharp voice again "I still hold the floo..."
"Shut up Harry!" The booming voice of the President snapped the attention of the entire room "I'd like to know..."
"That was a sealed vote, Mr President..."
"Those who betrayed this party are to come to tender their resignations by tomorrow morning. Those who don't will learn why they call me 'The Lion of Athens'..."
With that he stubbed his cigar into a marble ashtray. And left the room with a degree of regal decor that was born only of the purest line of Emperors.
