A tall man was looking outside a big glass window from the second floor of a "Ruslan" casino building that was happily residing on the corner of Novyie Arbat street in Moscow. In his hand he held a 1/3rd full glass of scotch, the lights from the street were reflecting from the completely bold surface of his head, his skinny hands were shaking slightly. It was night and the city was suddenly so alive, the lights from the numerous casino buildings and 2 story malls were mixing together creating a sort of a red-orange color that was absorbed by the lightly falling snow, making each snow flake glow as though it was on fire. People were walking on the streets, cars were passing by, there was a sort of harmony in the air, that special sent that invites a pleasant atmosphere. Behind his back the man with the glass could hear people talking, the usual gambling chatter, everyone seemed excited exept for those few that dropped the last of their chips on the table and with a facial expression full of shame started moving towards the exit. But after only just a second you would hear the excited cries of the winner.

The man near the window was somehow separate from all of that, his corner of the room seemed to be cold, he was just staring at the functionings of the street below, his gaze was dark, if anybody cared to look into his eyes they would see that this man is fighting a battle with madness, one could only wonder what demons were going through his head at this moment. Whatever they were, after this night it would all change, this was his judgement day the time then he will start repaying for his sins.

He finished his scotch and turned around starting to slowly walk towards the bar, looking strait ahead. Once he was half way through the room a waiter ran up to him.

"He will see you now, follow me please."

The tall man followed her. They walked to the opposite side of the room and she opened a darkened glass door. He went in, the door closed behind him, he smiled, he was ready to face his judgement.

The walls inside the room were painted light green, with huge paintings of landscape hanging on every wall. The room was not too big and not too small, there was a see through glass coffee table, a dark leather couch and two equally dark leather chairs that were surrounding it. Opposite from the couch was a big plasma TV backed against the wall, it was turned on mute and showing the news. A man who looked as if he was in his mid-40s was seating in the middle of the couch, leaning towards the television. His hair was grey, almost same color as his eyes, he was moderately built atleast from the first look and wore a black business suit, his moderately tan face was shining with energy. He was the leader, anyone who looked at him could see it, his bodyguards were seating in the two chairs to his sides. His face was frequently showing up on the news and in the nightmares of the FSB officers. His name was Nikolai Andropov who also went by the nickname "Lis", he was somehow involved in almost every military action conducted by the terrorist Neo-Nazi Russian Liberation Army since the mid-80s. Nobody really knew however his actual position within the RLA, some analysts thought he was the right hand of some unknown leader and others thought that he was that leader, either way that man was dangerous. As the door into the room opened he looked at his visitor.

"Lis": Ah, Peter Kuzmich, long time no see.

The tall man who was still holding his empty glass replied in a calm voice.

Peter: You know what i did, i realized that then you called me, so lets skip the sharade and get right down to it, i am not afraid of dying.....

"Lis" interrupted him.

"Lis": Don't worry Petia (short for Peter), i am not going to kill you, if i wanted to do that i wouldn't invite you here. I want to offer you a chance to repent for your sins. Yes you are right i do know what you did, you have betrayed this organization, you have sold out to the enemy, because of you hundreds of our operatives were killed and our biggest operation that could have allowed us to carry out our mission has failed miserably. But right now non of that matters, its the past, we live in a whole different world now, communism is no more and the person you sold out to as well as his regime is dead. The playing field was reset, in a lot of ways do to your actions. Now seat down, enjoy get yourself another drink, and lets talk about our future.

One of the bodyguards stood up, Peter set into his chair and poured himself some Vodka from a bottle standing on the coffee table. He spoke in a dry voice.

Peter: So what do you want from me then?

"Lis": That is what i like to hear. Okay, so this is the situation right now. All these lands as you know used to belong to the Cottish Empire, but then the Empire fell apart these land was annexed by the Union of Communist Republics. Ironically the Union collapsed just 7 months later, but i am sure you know more about that then me, since you were one of the main initiators of the revolution. Either way, while you were having yourself a vacation in a safe part of the world away from our troubles the government has made a turn around, and the Union of Communist Republics became a Russian Federation. You know this as well. Either way, all these lands did not get a chance to separate because the revolution, although bloody, was swift. Since the creation of the Federation most of the population of these lands were assimilated, there was a slavic unification propaganda campaign, these people were allowed to elect their own representatives who actively participated in the creation of the new Federation, but there are still resistance clusters all over the region. So far they could not build up the force to cause any major havoc, plus the FSB has cracked down on them pretty hard after the Federation solidified. They have the men but no brainpower. My plan is to use them for our own purposes. I have already contacted several of the leaders of some of the bigger clusters and they have agreed to cooperate.

"Lis" took a sip from his glass.

"Lis": Now thats where you come in. You had more contacts within the government of the UCR then any one man alive on the planet. A lot of your past comrades were able to adapt to the new system and are still kicking it in Voronej. I can use your ability to manipulate them. If you work for me i will give you your rank back within the organization and all your past wrongs will be forgiven.

Peter: And what if i say no?

"Lis": If you say no, one of my friends here will take you down stairs and out the backdoor and shoot you in the back of your head in a dark valley. I am not keeping you alive out of love for your persona, i am keeping you alive cause i can use you.

Peter: Very well then, i am in.

Both "Lis" and Peter got up and shook hands.

"Lis": Welcome back into our ranks tovarish Polkovnik. You can go home now and rest, its late now, i will have one of my men call you tomorrow morning and tell you about your first assignment. Good luck.

Peter left the room, went down the stairs to the first floor and got out on the street through the main door. As he was walking out a small surveillance camera zoomed in on his face. Somethere else in the city Major Shrapov of the FSB was woken up in the middle of the night by a loud phone ring.

Next Day, Noon, somethere on the Trans-Siberian railroad

Kuzmich was staring blindly in the window as his train cabin was softly shakin back and forth as it was moving forward towards the far away Voronej. Kuzmich was woken up early this morning by the phone call "Lis" promised him but he had too much going on in his head to go back to sleep. He hasn't been in the capitol city for 6 years now, not since the revolution began, not since he put a bullet through the head of the one he considered his brother, not since he sold out his comrades to the devil to save his own petty soul. He almost killed himself that same day in the airport bathroom, but he was too afraid. He was a coward and he knew it, but he could not do anything about it, it was his nature. So he stared in the window, looking at trees, snow and small villages passing him by, atleast now he had a mission, he had an excuse to live.

Moscow District Federal Security Services (FSB) Head Quarters, around same time

Polkovnik Riabinin: Sharapov, are these all we have?

Major Sharapov: Yes tovarish Polkovnik.

Polkovnik Riabinin: Okay, did you already run the database on this Peter Kuzmich? I think i saw his face somethere.

Major Sharapov: I had tovarish Polkovnik, this Peter Kuzmich used to be a very active member of the Communist Party back in the Communist Union.

Polkovnik Riabinin: The parliment was destroyed, all the party members were killed...how did he survive?

Major Sharapov: He seems to be the sole survivor, he did not attend that fatal meeting, according to our records he called in sick the night before.

Polkovnik Riabinin: Anybody cared to verify his condition?

Major Sharapov: No tovarish Polkovnik.

Polkovnik Riabinin: Anything else on him?

Major Sharapov: Nothing but his legal party activities, he disappeared completely since the revolution begun.

Polkovnik Riabinin: So what do we have...we have an ex-communist Party member who happened to call in sick on the day then all of his co-workers were massacred by a Neo-Nazi militant group that somehow gained access to the basement of the "Pushkan Warfare Museum" right across the square from the Parliment building. Hmm....any connection between Kuzmich and that museum?

Major Sharapov: Yes! There is a connection, he was the main benefactor of that museum, the manager was his close personal friend i doubt he would have any problems getting unsanctioned access to the basement.

Polkovnik Riabinin: This is starting to make sense, he has called in sick on the exact day then the Parliment Building was destroyed, he had access to the museum basement from which the Neo-Nazi's have launched their attack, he disappeared completely then the revolution began and now we have footage of him meeting with a top Russian Liberation Army (the Neo-Nazi Army) leader. I want his appartment searched, i want him tracked there ever he goes, and i want to postpone the crackdown on this cassino, we now know that its the enemy base but i want to see this play out to the end, until we can catch Kuzmich with his pants down we have nothing solid on him, and purhapse if we catch him he'll agree to help us out in rooting out the whole rotten organization, he must know a lot of he met with the "Lis" himself. Don't look at me like that, i know that we can get the "Lis" himself if we move now, but that will not do any good, the organization that supports him is far too powerful to allow us to hold him in custody. I have seen this happen before, traitors were let go because someone anonimous from high above gave the order to release them. In this business we have to learn to play both sides of the game. Where is Kuzmich right now?

Major Sharapov: He has purchased an express train ticket to Voronej with his credit card, we have put two agents on the train for surveillance.

Polkovnik Riabinin: Good, i want reports every 24 hours, you can go.

A black BMW took off from the parking lot outside of the "Ruslan" casino. The driver was an officer in the Russian Liberation Army, one of Lis's elite bodyguards. Lis himself and another aryan looking fellow were siting in the back, involved in deep conversation.

Lis: Arkin, so what do you think? Who will come onboard with us?

Arkin: Not many, most don't want to work with a Russian, there is almost nothing i can do to persuade them. However out of the major ones that will probably join us are Finn, Ivar, and Triqve. Their brigades all number over 20000, there are also some minor heads that will join, Eqil, Dag, but their brigades are smaller although can also be of help. I will do all i can to persuade as many as i can of course.

Lis: Thank you. My supply officers are ready to arm all of your combatants. You will have the equipment to do your duty.

Arkin: My men are ready to die for their cause.....

The car stopped outside of a big business building 4 blocks east of Kremlin.

Lis: This is your stop, good luck my friend.

Arkin got out of the car, and the driver pressed the gas.

Lis: Fanatics, they are so easy to manipulate.

Driver: We're going back to the casino?

Lis: No, take me to "Yolki-Palki", i have a meeting planned with some policemen.

Driver: Okay. Any changes to the plan concerning the Cots?

Lis: No, not at all. You are going to listen to the wiretapping records from this meeting of Cottish resistance brigade leaders, you are going to report to me on everything, we are going to identify who is on our side and who is not. We remove those who do not side with us, and members of their brigades are recruited by those who favor our cause.

Driver: Its all going according to plan then.

Lis: Good, speed up will you, these polcemen get really irritated then they don't get their money on time.

In "Yolki-Palki" a Russian restaurant on the second floor of a "Megacenter" supermarket building, Lis held his meeting with 2 policemen. Men like those were like cancer cells, they were part of the system yet they worked against it. One was fat and the other was skinny. Lis handed them the envelopes full of cash, no one seemed to have any regrets about the fact of the transaction.

Lis: Its all in there. I have a few things i want you to do, but first, what does Militsia (Police) know about my business. I know they have been trying to keep me under surveillance, i made a couple of mistakes, they haven't moved in yet, that means there is something larger on their mind. What is it?

Militsioner (Policeman): They sent several people afer your friend Kuzmich. Polkovnik Riabinin hasn't told FSB anything about this yet, he wants to handle this case himself and get all the spoils.

Lis leaned forward.

Lis: Are you sure FSB was not informed yet? They know nothing at all?

Militsioner: You have hearing problems? I told you that no, they don't know anything. Me and Misha here, between the two of us, have access to all reports going through to FSB.

Lis: Alright, how many men are after Kuzmich?

Militsioner: Two men. I know one of them, they aren't green.

He took out two yellow folders.

Militsioner: Here is everything i have on both of them. Your guys should be able to identify them.

Lis: What about Voronej militsia? Have they been contacted?

Militsioner: Not by Riabinin himself, however neither of us were present then the two agents that are surveying Kuzmich were being preped. We don't know what exact orders they recieved, it is possible that they are to contact Voronej militsia department and seek help.

Lis: Anything else i should know?

Militsioner: No. Only that you'll have to increase the pay next time, its not easy keeping surveillance dogs off you during our meetings, the bastards are asking for more and more every time.

Lis: Money is not the problem. Now about what i need you to do. In a couple of days you both will receive mailed documents with lists of names and locations of certain Cottish undeground resistance leaders. Make sure that this info gets to the right people and those people make the decision to storm the locations and terminate the suspects. Can you do that?

Militsioner: That is going to cost you. Next payday we want 20 thousand more, thats for each of us.

Lis: Money is not the problem.

Militsioner: Heh, you Nazis don't know how to lighten up, well me and Misha have to go, we got other business to attend to.

He got up straigtened out his hat and went towards the exit doors of the restaurant, his quite and skinny friend followed him. Lis was left alone to enjoy his meal.
