Embassy space is availble within the Hall of Nations (for nations wanting to have representation in our nation but cannot afford lavish accomodations.)

Currently, any nation can request occupation of one of the existing buildings:
"American Embassy" building - Large campus containing a central 6 story stone bulding with classic pillars, surrounded by a tall 50 foot wall with razorwire and guard stations. Other buildings in campus includidng large spacious apartments for guards and employees, medical facility, police centre, and Consultate Office.

"Irish Embassy" building- A single large 8 Story stone building surrounded by a 40' wall.

"Californian Embassy" - A single large 7 Story stone building surrounded by a 50' wall.

"Canadian Embassy" - Another large campus directly across from the campus reserved for UN offices. A large central building, 8 stories tall, includes all offices and apartments. Again, it is a stone building with classic pillars. a 50' wall surrounds the campus with guard stations throughout. Other campus buildings include a museum, consultate offices, medical centre, and guard office.

The hall of nations is a large and elaborate office building using a beige marble for construction. The enire bulidng is surrounded by classic pillars. A large rotunda atops the 'jetty wing'. there are 300 secure offices with adjoining living quarters for 90 people in this 15 story building. All countries residing in this building will have their flag flank the street entering the hall. A central hall at the center of the building contains the flags of all nations known to the ROCA, as well as building security, food services, information, etc.

The entire distirct is heavily patroled and secured, a 80' wall surrounds the district, with guard towers ever 40'. Although no incidents have ever occured and no threats been made, the ROCA feels it is worth the expense to secure our foreign consutates and ambassadors. National Police patrol the streets, and the National Marine Foreign Security Force controls the access points and the wall. The Grand Marshals (above the national police) provide additional security and investigative services.

To Dr. Joan Winters, Secretary of State of Cascadian America -
We are a relatively small nation that has only recently begun to take part in affairs outside our region. We will take the American Embassy, if possible. We hereby present the credentials of Ambassador Kathleen Kennedy Townsend for your consideration; her family, 80 staffers, and 120 guards (armed with ninety-six MP-5 submachine guns, eighteen M-240G machine guns, and six M-82A3 sniper rifles) will take up residence upon confirmation of this request. If you wish to reciprocate, please contact us here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=464604). Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mark Warner, Foreign Minister of The Beltway

Please view the maps at the above link. Consutate offices may be established in any city and town above. Security limitations do apply, as these are offices of service for your citizens abroad, not military bases. Approval of security forces will be required.

Please notify via this thread if you wish to establish a consutate in addition to an embassy. Thank you

Diplomat: Sir Carlton Baker
Building: If possible, the closest available to the Embassy of Ireland.
Security Forces: 35, armed with small arms – principally the L62 rifle.
Diplomatic Staff: 50 personnel in addition to His Excellency Sir Carlton Baker

His Majesty’s Government would like to take this opportunity to extend the hand of friendship to a nation that inhabits land no the Pacific Rim; and as an archipelago nation in the north central Pacific, the United Kingdom would be more than interested in entering a diplomatic and economic relationship with a nation so near to our own.

On the behalf of Prime Minister Daniel Collins, I am offering formal diplomatic recognition and the possibility of a formal free-trade agreement that would benefit both our nation’s economies. Should you be willing to accept these proposals, an embassy site can be provide within our Diplomatic Quarters in the capital city of Imperium at No. 25 King John St.

May this be the beginning of a fruitful relationship between our two peoples.

Maddam Kline,

We welcome the United Kingdom into our nation!

You have been awarded the old Irish Embassy, as they removed their embassy due to a consolodation of resources.

It's address is 2938 N. Hall of Nations Parkway, Cascadia City, GFD.

A Free Trade agreement is of course welcome, and our congress is prepared to debate on this issue.

Sincerely,
Dr. Joan Winters

Be on notice that not only do we intend to claim the Californian Embassy, but pending your approval, we will move to fortify it with penguin commandos. We always wanted to have an outpost in 10000 Islands, and this is our chance. Our designated envoy is one Ewan Samuels, a wealthy businessman who is singlehandedly responsible for the founding of no fewer than seven awful boy bands in the Federal Republic -- and now wishes to delve into real estate. How will he do it while exiled in Cascadia, you ask? He will open up floors 2-6 of the Californian Embassy to rental by other nations who wish representation in your fine country. The seventh floor will be the Federal Republic's embassy, and the ground floor, a lobby/cultural center. It'll be fantastic!

The Destructor from Del Fuego, Mexico sends his kindest regards.

Sincerely,
Alex Tehrani
Secretary of State

P.S. Wait! Before you go, be sure to name your counterpart ambassador to the Federal Republic, and, as always, you are welcome to visit Kenny's One-Stop Diplomacy Shop! (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=454422) to present your ambassador's credentials to our president and establish an embassy in the Antarctic wilds.

Due article 151.1.23.1 of the Revised Code of R.O.C.A., we will have to deny your request due to the following infraction:

"Only one envoy to the ROCA may occupy any embassy campus at any time. Exception: upto 300 envoys may occupy the national embassy building, herein called "The Hall of Nations"."

If you wish to enhabit space in The Hall of Nations, please designate a office number between 1 and 300.

Hmmm. We were not formerly advised of this law. We will still claim the Californian Embassy, but will cancel our plans to rent out its floors to other nations. I'm sure there are plenty of other lucrative enterprises Mr. Samuels can run from its confines. Although, due to this misunderstanding over previously undisclosed rules, the state of relations between our two nations (as the State Department sees it) has been downgraded from "Simply Smashing!" to "Just a Little Disappointed."

We look forward to moving past this unfortunate episode and striving to improve relations with your president and the fine republic he leads.

NOTICE OF EMBASSY ESTABLISHMENT

The Department of State hereby welcomes the Evnoy from your nation. We do appologize for the previous misunderstanding, as an attempt to rent out the establishment of soverign soil within the R.O.C.A. to additional nations had never been attempted. Any further notices regarding issues in relation to ROCA law will be submitted by The Grand Marshalate, or a deputy from his office.

The "Californian Embassy" is ready for your establishment. Please be advised, excessive security is not needed, as the National Police, Capital Police, Grand Marshals, and Foreign Investigative Service of the Grand Marshalate provide police and security protection within the Secure Ambassador District.
