Pantheaa
22-01-2006, 08:34
The TV’s weren’t working all throughout the People’s Confederation of Pantheaa. Everytime you turn the TV on you were met with the annoying sound and sight of the white static. Though for most Pantheans this was an improvement from last night’s condition. As of yesterday their was no running water or electricity. Sounds of rioting, gun shots, and fires being started could be heard throughout the Panthean capital of Kursk. The radio stations reported at 9:11 PM that the military was meeting with President for life Vassili Zeitsev and figuring out a strategy to quill the uprising. The military marched into downtown with loaded AK74’s and tanks to “end the rioting” Then the electricity went out and the people of Pantheaa were left in the dark.
Suddenly out of no where the TV turns back on. Sitting behind a desk was college age girl with blond hair. She had “People for a Free Pantheaa” button on her blouse and had had the demeanor of a professional journalist.
“Are we on” ask the girl to a person off-stage
“yes” was the answer
She then looked into the camera and said one of the most historical and most unbelievable statements in Earth’s history.
“Comrades, it is with great happiness today that I report that the years of abuse and mistreatment are over. No longer will Pantheans be embarrassment to the world. No longer will we subject ourselves to a ruthless leader. The COMMUNIST REGIME AS FAILING AND PANTHEAA IS FREE!!!”

With those words celebrations as well as crys of joy could be heard throughout the Confederation. In Orenburg a statue of Karl Marx was being demolished by a youth with a sledge a hammer. While in San Marino the famous Red Scorpion flag of the Panthean military was being burned by steel workers. Finally in the downtown capital both soldiers and civilians were ransacking the people’s parliament, burning every piece of Communist material they could get their hands on.
The over-night revolution
So how did the mightily almost invincible state like Pantheaa crumble? Some say it was by luck, but those who studied Panthean politics and military know that you can get anywhere with bribes and promises. This is how Pantheaa crumbled with the help of one of the nations most highest-ranking generals
Three days ago a massive rally was put on by students and workers on strike. Called “People for a free Pantheaa” the group was mostly made up of people from Norway’s former lands in Russia. Carrying morals of Sascha Yerrick; the first president of Pantheaa and carrying flags of Pantheaas former flag the crowd was a lively bunch.
his was starting to become a typical scene in Pantheaa, as a new “coalition” would stand outside protesting almost every week. Protest especially picked up last month. As the various embargos and threats from other nations were hurting the Pantheaa people. Not only was the people angry, but so to was the Pantheaa military. Which were suppose to be a “defensive army of volunteers.” However the army wasn’t volunteer at all, as the draft forced both males and females into infantry roles. Neither was the army defensive. As Pantheaa was the aggressor in both of its major wars. The promise of a “workers paradise” was just a myth by the communist government. And everyone who supported this government were fooled.
Like most Pantheaa protest the military quickly intervined. But unlike most military interventions they refused to fire on the civilians. When Pantheaa general Boris Zimmerman yelled at his subordents for not firing on the civilians. The Panthean military decided they had enough with this guy. The General and veteran of countless wars was shot in cold blood by his own men. It was then that the people knew that the Panthean military stands with its people against the communist government. From their on the crowd was filled with both military and civilian protesters. With tanks and guns, the crowd marched from Worker’s square to People’s Parliament and then on to the President’s house.
At 11:00 PM, the angry throng of starving Pantheans entered the Presidents ground and started to set the house on fire. Those Pantheans who were able to get in saw the grim site of President Vassili Zeitsev dead from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head. His 47 year old wife and 11 year old son were also lied died. One of the most powerful men to rise to president met a every “Shakespeare-like ending.”
Pantheaa’s future
With the death of Pantheaas third president, a void has been open in Panthean politics. The people of Pantheaa now have the difficult decision to decide who will lead them in rebuilding their country. What is known is that the title of “President for life” will no longer exist. And that all parties not just communist will be welcomed into parliament.
The control of the government is currently run by the “People’s Provisional government.”
Among the most likely contenders is Vladmier Brock. A political activist who resigned from the Communist Party two years ago. He was arrested for publishing a democratic newspaper that critical of the Communist regime. Brock is especially harsh in Pantheaa’s foreign policy and wants to make major changes to how the world sees Pantheaa.
Also up for a possible choice is Alexander Fritz. The general who was bribed in supporting the Free Pantheaa movement. Though his acceptance of a bribe would make some suspicious, he already as a huge following among the military and civilians. He even gave military rations to a children’s orphanage last month
Finally there is Natasha Sorvo. The only woman among the top contenders his an exile. Member of the “Woman for a Panthean Republic movement.” She is a human and woman’s right activist. And is a pacifist when it comes to military matters. She is also a friend of Vladimir Brock and it’s rumored that she will take the role of Chancellor if Brock is elected. The Chancellor is the government’s second in command and oversees the legislative branch’s activities.
And what does Ivan Kerensky say about this?
Ivan Kerensky the president before the now dead Vassili Zeitsev had no comment on the death of his friend. Ivan was the 2nd Panthean president and was the person who appointed Vassili as his replacement for “President for life.” Ivan step down because of illness. Despite the troubles of the Communist Regime, Ivan remains a loyal Marxist and continues to speak at universities and communist rallies everywhere around the world. These speaking engagements have brought him thousands of dollars.
Under Ivan, Pantheaa had its largest growth. Acquiring the Russian land from Norway and buying Mexico land (which was later given to the Romans.)
Terrorist to be exiled
The first act of the new Panthean government was to arrest the Brotherhood of Nod terrorist organization. The organization which as bullied political opponents and bomb religious sites in Israel is a scorn of the Pantheaa people.
Just one hour after the coup. Soldiers of Pantheaa announced that they have arrested the terrorist leader of the Israel bombing. These terrorist who choose to remain nameless, will be exiled from Pantheaa. Supporters of the Communist regime, there is no sympathy for the leaders. They are traitors of the Panthean people.
