The Next Leaflet is an A5 Booklet and has pictures of several fashionable accomodation and several young people happily chatting away in nicely furnished apartments, emblazoned on the front "A Place to Live & Learn"

At Uni we cater for both Novans and Foreign Nationals, whether you decide to live at home or stay at one of several forms of accomodation we are devoted to helping you to find a place to Live & Learn.

Appartments

There are several Appartment Complexes located near each of our Campuses, all of them a discreet distance away from them to encourage our students to relax during their down time, yet close enough to the Campus' to allow Students access to work on that all important project. All Apartments have basic Facilities, of Kitchen a Bedroom Bathroom and Living room, you may have to share an apartment however, though unless a specific request is put in to the contray you will have a roommate.

Rent schemes are low cost, however any damages must be paid for by the occupier of the aprtment, which are inspected monthly by trained engineers, which will call in at a set time every month, unless you make prior arrangements they will show up at that time, and they for convinience have a master key as to allow them to do their duty even when you are out enjoying yourself or at lectures.

Appartments are modern yet comfortable

Dormitories

There are Several Dormitories located On-Campus, several of them or of a Historic Nature, however this does not mean that they are primitive or uncomfortable far from it, during the summer of 2005 the Student Union and an almost ungodly ammount of volounteers helped rennovate the Dormotires in accordance with a plan that they drew up and presented to the UNI Board of Directors.

Dormitories accomdate 3 at a time, you will be assigned roommates who are on the same course(s) as you, Dormitorties house spartan Cooking Facilities however, Dormotory Occupants are given food vounchers to the value of 20 Novons a week to spend at UNI facilities, also certain restauraunts also accept the food voucers, however for best value for money it is often reccomended to eat at UNI facilities, the vouchers are also valid at Student Union Venues and functions

Another leaflet Catches your eye a simple one with the Uni Logo in each corner and across the black cover in white writing is, The Journey to Success; Travel and Transport

Transport between Uni Capuses is relativley hassle free, quite often it is a case of reporting to the Campus Office, and requesting information, whether it be a taxi to town or transit to another one of the Novacom Islands doing so is easy and hassle free.

Travelling Locally

At every Uni Campus there is a Monorail station that links up to the main network, Students merely carry their Student Cards and they are eligable for free transit throughout the entire network, the Monorial is quick efficient and offers a pleasent scenic view. DOLAO (Doctorate of Law and Order)

Students on the DOLOA course are expected to have first studied on a law course before, while exceptions have been made they are extremly rare on the order of roughly 1 per every 4 yerars if that, This course is highly advanced and officialy it is split into 2 different courses, this is due to the amount of Modules available, and the nessacery lineation of these, as such you will find course content follows a similar route but deviates from the other course depending on Modules.

DOLOAO/A or Doctorate of Law and Order/Application, has modules that mainly center around the Application of law, Modules include study of Historic Cases like, Voronzel Jindrax V Diri E I G Ignen Lord Priest Herlath, Novacom V Admiral Kukonois and Lord Priest Kelzen V Dolmuteth Krezeck. In addition to these cases modules applicable to Novacom and International law or also available for choosing as well as several modules about Law in other nations, with special guest speakers throughout the course from both the Novacom Judicial System and speakers from other nations this course is best aimed towards those who see themselves with a future in the courts enforcing the laws opposed to making them.

DOLOAO/I or Doctorate of Law and Order/Implication, has modules that mainly center round what the consequences of enacting laws are, why enact them why are they a good idea, how will they solve the siutuation or prevent it, why are they passed and other pertinent questions, this Course has Modules that Include but are not limited to, Voronzel Jindrax Cabal of War Law, The Destinus Accords, The Diri E I G Ignen Blood Pact Covenant as well as Law in Modern Novacom today, special Guest speakers include guests from the Current Council of Ministers where students may interview the speaker and pose questions to them as part of a written project. This Course is more suited to those who see themselves in having a future in politics due to the more theoretical nature of the course, however both courses are interchangeable and allow access to either career Track.

The Leaflet goes on for Several Pages offering a vast array of courses

A Brief Q&A

I wish to ask if the UNI follows the five or six day scholastic week?

Uni follows as standard a 5 day scholastic week, however certain events due to timetabling and scheduling may either take place out of usual teaching hours, or on a Saturday, it is Uni Policy to leave Sundays free for students and unless circumstances demand, saturdays also.

I wish to ask for any pertient information that would make life easier at UNI.

Several of our seniors have given out a fair bit of advice, most of which is contained in the prospectus however several things come up repeatedly,

* Be sure to go the 'Freshers week, it allows you to make new friends and in general settle into Uni easily.
* Be sure to do an asignment when you get it, otherwise you end up playing a game of catchup you never really seem to end
* Always show up to lectures quite often the best graded projects refer to things that are only brought up in them
* Don't go out on all the night outs or if you do pace yourself it's not unusual to spend your food vouchers for the week on the first night
* Listen to the seniors and take the pranks in good jest
