"Hello, everyone, this is Walter Krankheit of RBNNN, the most trusted name in government-approved news. Today, a month-long investigation of governmental corruption reached its conclusion today, with shocking results: Chancellor Calvin Cyprian, Jr., Papa J.L.'s oldest and closest friend, had stolen and squirreled away nearly a trillion dollars out of the treasury, over a period of almost ten years. This is one of the largest scandals in Roach-Busterian history, and rivals even the excesses of the kleptocratic communist regime Papa overthrew all those years ago. Cyprian at first rather hotly denied the accusations, until the evidence was presented. Finally, after more than a dozen witnesses testified, and first-hand proof of his kleptomaniacal tendencies had been revealed to the court, he tentatively admitted his role. With tears in his eyes, he said, "It is true what they say. I may have stolen a thing or two, but I'm sure Jesus Christ Himself was accused of being a thief in his time. Everyone steals. I am merely being made the sacrificial lamb." The jury of twelve reached a verdict the next day: guilty. The outcome was 10-2; 10 guilty, 2 innocent. Cyprian is to be executed tonight, by firing squad. It is rumored that Papa himself may be a participant. Live coverage of the event will be shown tonight at 10:00 P.M., and attendance will be compulsory. Again, this has been Walter Krankheit, of RBNNN. Thank you, and good night."

Jenrak finds this scandal entirely amusing, and if he truly is the one, then he certainly is to be put to death. It's too risky have a corrupt government. Then again, we're sure you already know that, since this certain case has arosen.

"So far as we can determine, he is the only one. If he is not, then his subordinates will be put to death as well."

OOC: Wait, 2 guilty verdicts is still a guilty verdict overall? How barbarous of you. ;)

The mathmeticians of Trivazi are most confused as to how ten votes for innocent and two votes for guilty result in a guilty verdict. Is this an error on the part of RBNNN, or some peculiarity of Magdhan law?

{OOC: An error on my part, actually. A very embarrassing typo. :p}
