Ever since the first contact that the Eternals had with the people of Athiesism the Eternals had watched down upon Athiesism. The Eternals had beheld every action that Athiesism had done unto its people or others. For many years that had done this, but now the Eternals upon the most recent war that Athiesism had declared upon others have decided for the Eternals to judge upon the actions of Athiesism and had they been performed for the greater good of her people.

Now a great Eternal ship that was made of a golden substance and shone like a sun, but without harming the eyes of those who were good and just. The Eternals’ ship now hovered above the nation of Athiesism. The light that came out of the ship healed the wounded and made plants grow. Out of the cane a great light and upon the light rode a being of great beauty, but was truly might to behold. Then this creature said,” I am a true Eternal sent here by the Eldest One and ruler of the Eternal race. The time has come for the judgment of Athiesism by the Eternals and to asset the actions of your nation as while as to decide weather or not the Eternals maintain contact with you. As well if you assetment is decided that your nation’s action have been for the good of her people we will restore something that was taken from you.”

Dr. Claire Polenin, head of the Mainframe scientist team, flew a shuttle to the Eternal starship. As the vessel neared the Eternal ship's docking bay, she sent of a transmission.

"Greetings, Eternals. As you know, the world you have given us has been knocked out of orbital alignment and is being slowly incinerated. We had no choice but to invade the J'kran system and find a new world for Merkar. I am coming to represent President York, who recommended that I be the envoy to you."

Polenin knew that York had been forced to send her, and that if it was up to York he would go himself. But it no longer mattered- the Mainframe was more important.

The Eternals sent this reply message to Doctor Polenin. The voice thay was spoke the message was both charming and polite in tone, but farily sten still.

“If you have been selected by your people and are willing to come aboard our ship feel free to, but remember that you hold the fate of a world in your hands.”

After the message ended a large doorway opened up as the Dr. Polenin shuttle approached the Eternals’ ship star craft docking bay.

Mrs. Polenin entered into the dazzling beauty of the docking bay with her loyal followers. As they exited the ship, they were temporarily amazed at the design of the Eternal vessel's interior. Waiting for Eternal representative to show up, they sent another transmission.

"Eternals, we had no choice. As you can see, our world has been devastated. We must find another place to live. The J'kran was offered for sale, but at an unbelievable price. We had no choice but to invade."

Thinking to herself in her mind, she knew the real reason behind the invasion. It is the Mainframe's will that Merkar expand.

Instead of the human representatives that the Eternals had used in the past to contact the people of Merkar an actual full Eternal came before Mrs. Polenin and said,” Welcome Mrs. Polenin to my people’s ship, one of many amongst my people’s fleets. But, as for your people we know if your strife and our willing to help you reclaim what has been lost to you. Yet first the Eternals will place judgment upon the people of Merkar.”

The exotic features of the full Eternal astounded the visitors, who were not expecting such an amazing sight. Coming to their senses, they discussed their problem with the representative.

"I hope you enjoy your investigation, Comrades, and I welcome you to our world. But bear one thing in mind- me and every true Merkari acknowledge the infailability of the Mainframe. Noone has yet proven it wrong, not since the day of its death. And we do not see how you could presume to say otherwise."

The Eternal then said,” You have not yet come to understand what you did when you built the computer called the ‘Mainframe’ have you? What your people did when you built it was medling in powers that your people are not yet ready to handle. As for my investigation it shall not involve us going about your, but analyzing you Mrs. Polenin and your comrades.””

"What are you talking about, Eternals?" Polenin asked. "Has the Mainframe ever been proven wrong? It's a perfectly logical creation, and therefore has no faults. Do you have any evidence to the contrary?"

The Eternal shook his head and then said,” To be logical in any degree does not mean something is perfect. As well the Mainframe had the ability to predict the future by seeing the course of the action and predicting what course the action could take, but yet it did not take into account that there is an infinite amount of outcomes in the end. If you think the Mainframe was capable of this then you should have realized that it what have been in an endless cycle of predicting the future and even then would not have been capable of predicting every single future that may resut.”

"Comrade Eternal, it predicted the most likely future. Even then, it was always right. Ever since is creation, and on until its death, it never failed us. Religion is a poor substitute for such a thing."

"If you believe your mainframe then let me show you something that you haven't seen."

The Eternal waved his hand and a large hologram revealing many holes that each lead to its own reality. Then the Eternal said," Each one of these tears in the open space reveal a different reality where at least one fact of it is different then our own universe. They can range from as small as a person buying a different kind of shoe to what kinds of species exists in a universe."

"But only one reality is possible, if you bring together all the known facts and so eliminate the guesswork of trying to pick another reality. If you know the facts, only one reality appears likely."

The Eternal shook his head and then said," A small change of choice can easily alter the course of events and as well remember not all things are certain that re likely. I shall now show such a thing.”

Upon saying his body began to turn into a form of pure golden-silver light and then the Eternal said,” This is the form that our bodies have evolved into over during our evolution and the form you saw me is what we once where, but still are as we our bound to this universe despite us wanting to permanently go to the dimension of our creator.”

"The Mainframe only made judgements on things it was sure of," Polenin replied, "and it served us well. Never did it speak incorrectly, and we have no doubt that it will come again. To say that this is not so is to insult the entire Merkari race!"

The Eternal said in a voice that boomed with a thunderous power beyond anything mortals could possibly be able to achieve,” What right do you mortal being posses that gives you the right claim to know the future? As for the mainframe machines do not posses a soul within and thus cannot be reborn, but only can be rebuilt with the same programming.”

The Polenin team, deeply insulted, threw back a string of insults and shouts at the race that had insulted their Mainframe. "There is no point in discussing this further! You no longer interest us!" With that, the delegation left for their shuttle to return home.

The Eternal said,” Then the world of Merkar which was given to you by the Eternals shall be taken back by the Eternals and cast into it’s sun thus destroying it forever. As well the long lives that were given to you by us will be revoked and you will be given back the life spans that you once had. Also your people will now come to suffer viruses, scars, diseases, and age again in order for you to remember the arrogance of your race.”

From that point on, Merkar abandoned their Eternal providers without shedding a tear.

Upon finishing his sentence the team of Merkar and their ship back to the planet’s surface. Then the Eternals’ began the execution of their sentence. Blood red light began to flow over the nation of the Merkar, upon each of the lights their seemed to be beings dressed in ruby armor. As the lights stroke the humans they cam in contact with entered their bodies leaving a burn mark wherever they entered. After this was the Eternals left aboard their ship, but they had made every single Merkar subject to disease, viruses, corruption of the flesh, aging, and made them regular humans without any of the other physical or mental gifts the Eternals had given them.
