Depkazia

Premier for Life President Elect High Marshal Admiral of the Fleet Aeronaut Doctor Edmund Wolfgang Chokareff, Popular Conduit First Class is a young man of seemingly Asiatic appearance. He has adopted for himself a bizarre alias and renamed the land of Potopovo, calling it Depkazia, and now, with an executive of socially conscious but unfailingly sycophantic deputies, is set about the varied tasks of building a People's Popular Atheist Labour Republic, protecting it against internal and external enemies that may be created in the process, spoiling his pet hippopotamus, and renaming everything. The red radish, by the way, is now the labour pustule root plant, the thirteenth month (yes) is Smarch, an upturned bathtub on a shopping trolley may now be called a tank if it has better than an air-rifle firing through the over-flow and apropriate propaganda painted on both sides, and the committee deciding all of this is now the National Nomenclature Executive Department of the People's Information and Pomp Ministry.
Today's good news is that a freight train carrying agricultural products (labour pustule root plants amongst them) has caused the collapse of a well-maintained and soundly designed bridge over a gorge near Mount Kaznakaryo. This is a wonderful indication of the sheer weight of agricultural output since the farming co-operatives were established.
Further, the Republic's flag now flies over Depkazia after Chokareff approved the umpteenth design proposal. A good day to be Depkazi!

And unrelated condolences to the residents of the Kaznakaryo Valley township below the Kaznakaryo railbridge.
Hail! The People's Atheist Labour Republic is Your Atheist Labour Republic!
