(ooc: look its time to say all right lets come to the table and see what’s going on, I know TFU isn’t liked ICLY by a lot of people, so its time to talk this out ICLY! Ok first things first a few rules: there will be no attacks on the station were this conference is being held, no assassination nothing of that sort, ok ? if you do ill ignore you, any who that’s all.)

The white house:
Rob sat back on his chair sighing and looking out the window his oak desk gleaming in the sun light from the window he looked at the large white monument over the blue sky’s of Terran prime, the green grass and pool of water brightly shined. The door opened and Secretary of state bester kayborn walked in his black white suit absorbing some light.

He stated with a loud but soft voice “Mr. President we are ready to send our message to the galaxy”

Rob nodded as he swiveled his chair over smiling “good, very good!” he shoved his chair back a bit and then stood up his black suit his black glossy shoes on the blue white carpet.

He maneuvered his arm down towards the table and picked up a small remote, he prssed a button finely and a small holo graphic tv popped up.

He looked at it his body moving a bit as a message popped up.

This is a message from the state department of the United States,
To all nations willing, we are holding a general conference on relations and relations repair for any nation willing to attend, one condition is you will need to provide your own transportation, we also will not accept weapons smuggled in our nation no matter what.

The conference will be held on board star base 13 in the Torm system.

Additional rules are as fallows:

Please do not send a fleet of ships we only have limited slots and do not wish to have a large amount of war ships around our territory.
We will allow a minim of 3 body guards for your delegate.
Your delegates will have quarters assigned to them by the commander of the station.
..

The USS mercury floated along its sleek rough hull gleaming In the light of a large yellow orange sun. on board was a rested ready to talk president bastidas, he stood up his suit un wrinkling and becoming finely pressed; smiling a bit he started to walk, passing a few rooms by the decks of the ship were metal not meant for comfort but more for battle it was a large ship the newest in the union he looked around the grey smooth halls as he walked towards the. Eventually he had reached the transporter room, the rather odd shaped triangular pad was more dull than others, his feet clanked and taped on it as he turned to look out a bit.

He nodded and said “engage” in a bright flash he was gone nano seconds later he appeared on the large station he looked around the bustling station were tables speaking podiums and other things of public events were set up.

Meanwhile:
Bester kayborn sat back in his chair he had just finished typing up a message to the Iuthian ambassador to the USFU the message read as fallows “ to the Iuthian ambassador to the united states, we are pleased to inform you that you have been invited to observe and or join a peace conference being held on board a federal station at the system of torm, we shall provide transportation for you if needed, and we also await your answer.

And with great haste diplomats were dispatched. They arrived at their destination with great speed, despite the aerobatics of their transports.

A craft flickered into being in the outer edge of the system in which the USFU stated they were holding their diplomatic conference. The Seraph, a ship that styled itself as female, sent a message to the station, requesting permission to send a shuttle to dock.

Time certainly dragged for Ambassador Joey Pearson on Terran Prime, spending the majority of his time in the embassies dull grey fortified compound. No matter how much he concidered the events of the last few months he couldn't get past the feeling that he was here because the bastards in the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps didn't like him.

Perhaps it was something to do with the fact he was a jerk, the idea that despite his drug addictions, aggressive attitude and outright annoying behaviour he somehow managed to hang on to his position in the IDC; never quite providing his superiours with the justification to fire him... no matter how what they threw at him, he saw it through and came out stronger then ever. Even that re-negotiation with the Insaaniyat government about Iuthian emittion standards had come out fairly well for the nation while Iuthia continued to polute the Earth.

But now here he was, thousands of lightyears from home in a unfamiliar country with nut-cases surrounding him. Wierd religions based around anime and odd looking cat-people who were just outright offputting... how is he supposed to eat his Roast Kitten having seen such creatures? He didn't even want to think about the occasional extra-dimensional beings that attacked the city every so often, the whole place just felt wrong.

The most annoying part of it all, though, seemed to be the way that the Fedral government were trying to make him feel at home, ignoring his subtly rude statements and actions because they wanted the Benevolent Dictatorship to like them... and all the while he missed the concrete jungle of Iuthia Prima, the readily available reactional drugs, the occasionally snuggle with Cassanda, his favorite woman from the Kitty Cat Club... this place was just too, Moral.

Sitting calmly in his office, Joey read through the latest batch of messages from the Fedral government, perhaps they were looking to talk about trade again... like he wasn't tired of that conversation.

Drinking a glass of water as he read the brief message, Joey's eyes widened. Another peace conference? Well I'll be damned... he thought. Pausing for a moment, Joey started to engage his brain into 'diplomatic mode' for the first time in a while...

To: Bester Kayborn, Secretary of State for the United States of the Fedral Union, Terran Prime
Subject: re: Peace Conference Invitation
Message:

Dear Secretary of State,

On behalf of the Benevolent Dictatorship of Iuthia I would like to formally accept your invitation to this diplomatic event in order to fully observe the discussion and provide my nations own views for the conference itself.

I can only hope that the results of this Peace Conference are much better then that of our own previous efforts unfortunately ruined by the unfortunate events resulting from Austarian security failures as well as the unyielding position of the Hugarian delegate. It would be good to see if perhaps this time we can have some more flexible delegates.

Assuming you get enough delegates to accept this offer of diplomacy I can assure you we will be present.

In order to properly display our introduction into the intergalactic comunity, Iuthia will incist on using it's own transport for this event and as such I will not be hitching a ride with you from Terran Prime, instead an Iuthian Assault Frigate will be picking me up prior to the event. This vessel will comply with any reasonable security requirement and if you would prefer you can trasport me and my aide to the vessel itself using a shuttle. I don't trust those transporter things you have...

For additional information regarding my security details, please refer to the attached file: [Attachement: S001a (1.4mp)]

Yours faithfully,

Ambassador Pearson, Iuthian Diplomatic Corps

A small sleek blue diamond ship flew into the solar upon receiving the message that there was a diplomatic summit. As the ship approached the planet where the meeting was being held is sent out this message,” The Eternals seek to meet the USFU by sending a full Eternal to this meeting. As well this is due to the fact the you have labored long and hard in the fight against the GE. For this the Eternals wish to develop diplomatic relations with you at this meeting.”

They each made a slight nod of the head, indicating respect in the same way that the much more extravagant bows of their now ancient cultures had so many years ago. To: The Iuthian ambassador from the secretary of state of the United States:
“We are glad you have accepted our invitation, our government appreciates your involvement,
Star force command. As for using your own transpiration, we have no problems with it we will respect your wishes, thank you again”

Beelp bloop bleep beep boop… sensors scanners and various electronic computers sounded as there flashing glassy pads reflected light out wards, the large station connected to a ground base via space elevator orbited ominously.

Fleet admiral Tim hatorn sat in his large chair over looking the huge circular command center, mean while a small message on his chairs screen popped up, some thing about a ship coming to pick up a delegate he sighed with some frustration, and taped another button he began to speak in a boring but tired voice “Iuthian vessel you are cleared for entry”..

The stations con officer was sitting on the commander’s chair as hen noticed a blinking light on one of the glassy, beeping panels of the some what medium sized bridge of the station. He stood up, his uniform un wrinkled as he walked towards it, his uniform covered arm reached for the button and taped it, the computer automatically played the message.

He rubbed his chin slightly as he taped yet another button a few centimeters away, he spoke “Scandinvan ship, acknowledged, you are authorized to dock or transport aboard the station.”

Rob smiled as he watched the delgates enjoy the food and drinks he and his staff had laid out he sighed as he looked around the decorated hall it was rather large ..

Travelling most of the interstellar distance with a full accompaniment of Iuthian vessels, the ISNV Liessa's Joy was escorted to the edge of Fedral Union space. The small group emerged from hyperspace with a bright, piercing flash of white light, the eight frigates and two destroyers still large enough to give a conciderable feeling of military presence. The group continued to escort the Assault Frigate for a short distance before finally the Fedral ships took over the escort in order to assure the Liessa's Joy a safe journey to Terran Prime.

The frigate herself was fully a large fully kitted out Iuthian Assault frigate, not the most powerful vessel of war the Iuthian's had but it represented some of their newest advances in the field of space exploration... ironically the smaller Fedral vessels were still by far more advanced then the Liessa's Joy, a sign of Iuthia's relative age in comparison. The outer hull of the Liessa's Joy was as blockly as one would expect from such a primative vessel with size compensating for it's lack of advanced shields and power requirements for it's FTL systems. Regardless, it wasn't a completely (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/Iuthia/Space/AssaultFrigate.jpg) ugly vessel.

Making the final approach to Terran Prime itself, the Liessa's Joy entered a high orbit around the blue planet and awaited the arrival of their Ambassador.

A small shuttle had flown over the iuthian embassy its thrusters firing as it moved in for a landing its smooth sleek hull gleamed in the blue sky’s light, as it moved lower and lower a loud wooooosh could be heard almost continuously, as I floated steadily down on to a pad, the massively huge sky scrapers of new union city encompassed the area with shadows , as it extended its landing gear the shuttle finally touched down in a large whoosh clack crackle sound, a small door way opened .

Mean while on the station rob awaited more delegates, he had a sleek crystal like glass in his hand full of mango ale, he smiled as he looked upon who had already arrived, he moved up the cup in a smooth swift motion and sipped from it, as he did this his other hand moved up to gently pick up a small truffle.

He sighed as he gulped down a sweet sip of mango ale, he said to him self thinking “well it looks like this is going good so far lets hope when we get to the table every thing moves on smoothly”.

With a quick motion he lifted the truffle and put it in his mouth chewing gently and gentlemen like. He walked over to a small window his suit shuffling slightly as he walked, his feet tapping upon the soft carpeted ground.

It had been several days since the ceremonial crowning of the new Emperor. The throne room was now empty except for two individuals. An older gray haired man stood out front of the throne bowed at the waist. Emperor Debuesec sat in the Jade Throne with his head rested on his right fist.

"Prime Minister Teal, good to see you again. It's been how many years since our last encounter in the Hyde System?"

"Many years your Highness."

"So it has. I've seen the report on your last encounter with the Federal Union to try and resolve the trade issue. It seems the negotiations never took place."

"That is correct your Highness. Commander Atosuryua accompanied me and she can attest to my statements."

"I do not doubt you but as you may well already know, the Federal Union has opened up and requested to speak with any nation still holding grievances. This is their last chance to resolve everything. If they do not, then the borders will be closed to them forever. Do you understand?"

Teal bowed. "Yes your highness."

"One more thing Prime Minister." He walked down the dias to where the man was standing and handed him a metal container. "These are your instructions. Read them on the flight out. Dismissed."

The Prime Minister bowed and left the throne room. A Whitestar class ship was in dock awaiting the Prime Minister's arrival. It quickly sped out of the hanger and opened a jump point into Hyperspace.

Shortly after, a hole was torn in the fabric of space as the small ship sped from the Hyperspace point and barrel rolled on the exit. It had arrived in the Torm System as was requested. The ship slowly pulled up into orbit over the nearest planet. A message was sent to the star base.

This is Whitestar 1-0-1 of the Abh Empire containing Prime Minister Teal who will be the delegate to the requested conference. Standing by awaiting instructions for docking.

The message had came to the nearest neighbour of the Federal Union; projected upon a vast screen; examined; relayed; played again; a great gauntleted hand reached out to touch the hovering message; carressing its words; its lettering...

"Shall we then?"

Remiel rose from his throne; his voice carried across the void to echo about Terra Prime; his smirking visage taken and spreads; moved from place to place; his seemingly peaceful demeanor, hiding the manipulative overlord within; this Prince of peace and perversion.

We shall attend; we shall settle our old scores; renew our kinships in blood

"Come, sycophants; prepare your lord; a gathering awaits...I must be prepared."

Half-human servitors scurried from the shadows; swarming their master; his arms out-stretched, his eyes closed. He chuckled softly, mewling now. "Soon; soon we shall affirm the old pacts"
-------------------

The vast warship of Remiel, the Ecstacy of Slaanesh tore into form above the Station; broadcasting a grand message to the world below; as remiel lounged upon his throne; waiting; watching; countless slave women gathered about him; some about his head, hands playing across his shoulders and chest; others crouched at his feet; looking up at their merciless lord.

The God-Emperor, Lord Remiel De Drakan requests his presence be accepted at this conference; this is a day of days; a moment of moments; let us join it

He rose; armor gleaming, polished by enslaved hands, carressed by will-less fingers. His cloak billowed; human flesh stretched out, faces screaming from the fabric of it; held by spikes that curved and twisted like horns through the skin.

At his sides, in their scabbards; the grand Runic Daemonblades; Worldrender and Lifesbane; he was a resplendant lord of Chaos; a master of the Immaterium; and he had come here; to watch these Terrans; to join them; to speak with they and their guests.

This was a day of days...

As could be expected of a diplomat of his calibre, Ambassador Joey Pearson was already 'dressed' for the occasion and now sat calmly in his wood panelled office with his feet on the oak desk, leaning in his comfortable leather chair. He was currently smoking a marijuana cigerette from Iuthia, enjoying the taste of home as he wasn't particularly fond of the Fedral stuff... it wasn't replicated like some of the other stuff he tried, but they were clearly not as dedicated (in his opinion) as the benevolent dictatorship was when to came to growing good cannabis.

A polite knock on the door brought Joey onto his feet to meet the visitor. "Come on in." He called out, straightening his shirt out.

"Abmassador, the Fedral's have arrived to take you to the Liessa's Joy, on the helipad, sir." It was an Iuthian soldier, one of the many smartly uniformed men garrisoned in the Embassy in charge of security, their uniform was black dress uniform with smart red berets. Often mocked by the other miltary corps but the job paid damn well.

"Very well, soldier... I'm ready now so we may as well get going." The pair got alot of funny looks as they made their way to the Fedral shuttle, perhaps in part due to the strange attire the Ambassador had chosen for the event. Regardless everyone smiled and just escorted him and his three smartly dressed security detail onto the Runabout.

---------------------------------------------

Surprisingly the trip on the Runabout was surprisingly comfortable, with only the slightest bits of turbulance when the ships suddenly changed course... normally hard to notice because the interial dampeners worked better then their Iuthian counterparts on this vesse.

As the landscape of Terran grew distant, the Ambassor sat in his chair, relaxing and finishing his cigerette still getting the odd funny look. He wasn't so assed about the opinions of others here as he knew his position was fairly secure so long as he followed law, meaning he did more or less what he liked. Fuck those jerks back at the IDC... he thought to himself.

It was fairly impressive to see the Liessa's Joy floating there in high orbit around the soft blue planet below. The Assault Frigates at first seemed distant, it's blue and red armoured plating brightly immunated by the systems star. As they got closer to dock it became more and more impressive, a true sign of Iuthia's growing military power the ship seemed vast from so close up, it's mass driver turrets could be likened to huge turrets seen on battleships, only much larger for space applications. It was nice to see a bit of home again.

Finally docking with the Liessa's Joy the vessel seemed a little less impressive... it wasn't designed for to hold much in the way of strike craft like other Iuthian vessels so the hanger seemed small, tidy for the occasion but a bit of a disapointment. The Ambassador was properly greeted by the Captian and leaving the Fedral Union pilots behind he was escorted up to the bridge for the short trip. Meanwhile the Runabout went through depressurisation proceedures before leaving for home on Terran.

The bridge was bustling with activity as normal, the crew hard at work with powering up the hyperspace core and making sure everything was still at optimal efficiency... even today the hyperspace drive was fairly new technology and there were still alot of precautions needed to make sure they didn't miss by several lightyears, it wasn't easy to be accurate and the computer had a time working out the math while the universe was still expanding and the galaxy still spinning and all kinds of factors. But all said and done it was quite a sight. There was no window of which to speak, only a large holographic display combined with many other various flatscreen displays for ease of use with the crew. Joey simply stood and watched as the Liessa's Joy turned around and opened a window into hyperspace.

--------------------------------------------

Emerging from Hyperspace in a blinding silver light, the ISNV Liessia's Joy finally arrived a short, albeit safe distance from Station 13 with all it's pieces intact. Joey was sitting in on a chair provided hurling into a small brown paper bag as hyperspace had never quite agreed with him.

"We're here, Ambassador." Captain Kay stated his simple stern voice. Ambassador Pearson nodded belatedly, his face pale from the experience of faster then light travel.

"Crewman Jones, escort the Ambassador to his diplomatic craft, please" The Captain asked with a faint smile on his face.

"Right away, Captain." The crewman helped Joey from his seat and assisted him off the bridge. Along the way the Ambassador improved until he was back to his normal slightly annoyed self, carrying his diplomatic briefcase along side him.

Back at the hanger he was taken to a modified Kritton Heavy Corvette, there were no guns on this version of the craft and instead it was kitted out with more point defence and communications equipement, along with an improved engine and dampener system for the pilot.

There was enough room for the crew, Ambassador and his three man security detail, but it was cramped and not very comfortable for the passengers. Comfort was a luxury hardly ever concidered before practicality. Getting their permissions from the station, the craft landed without any problems.

The Ambassador got out of his ship and walked down the airlock accompanied by by the three smartly dressed security personel wearing the same dress uniforms as were common at the Embassy, one a tall blond man, another a short, athletic looking Elven man and the finally one being looking to be an average woman with red hair. All in uniform and smartly dressed.

As for Joey... well he was wearing practical black trousers and a red and white hawaiian short sleave shirt, not tucked in. The man, looking to be in his early thirties wasn't even wearing shoes, instead he wore saddles. His figure was good though, not slim but he clearly made a point of working out in order to keep in good condition, which brown hair was short and military crop with a sign or two of gray hairs despite not actually being old. Otherwise he was cleanly shaven and had a large grin on his face, holding out his arms in a open friendly guesture as he approached the welcoming party.

"Hey Everyone, glad I could make it... sorry to keep you waiting but you know what it's like with traffic, eh?" He put down his diplomatic black briefcase on the floor, which a guard automatically stood next to, and approached the highest ranking person in front of him to shake their hand. "Ambassador Joey Pearson, it's a pleasure to meet you."

To the Abh ship you are authorized to dock on ring 2.

Mean while another message was sent to the Chronosian ship rather quickly it was brief:
Thank you for choosing to attend we are glad to have blood allies with us today you may dock or send a shuttle to our station.

The welcoming committee was rather informal, a group of 3 marines stood as the ambassador walked up and greeted them. There black uniforms absorbed all light, they stood stone faced lance corporal shepherd, and the rest of his detail went to automatic attention he saluted and then dropped it .

“welcome to station 13 sir” he said in a deep strong voice, he said in another burst “sir the conference is that way just hang a left at that life, I have to stay here for the other parties”

A small shuttle spit from the bay of the Whitestar as it glided towards the designated dock.

Teal made his way to the bridge to thank the commander for the smooth ride over. "Thank you Commander Lexshue. Please give my regards to Lord Dusanyu when you see him again."

Her golden eyes sparkled with a flash of a smile. "I will. Good luck Prime Minister."

Teal nodded. He had left his orders in his quarters where they would remain for the rest of the time.

The man descended the walkway and into the station. Anyone scanning would possibly have detected two other life forms for a brief moment only if they knew what to look for. He stood there waiting for an escort to show him the way to the meeting room.

Ambassador Pearson nodded, incisting on shaking the hand of the Lance Corporal, reading his rank from his uniform which Joey had made a point over the past few months of memorising the various pips each soldier had along with their position.

The odd Ambassador then went back to his briefcase and strolled down the open corridor of the station with his three fully smartly dressed security personel following closely behind. He had only made a point of taking three because that was the limit, it was more customary for an Ambassador to take one or two depending on preference, but Joey didn't much care for IDC customs at this point.

Stopping half way, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a metal cigerette case. Removing a cigerette from the case, the tall blonde bodyguard pulled out a lighter and lit it for him as Joey started to breath in the rich smoke of the canabis and tobacco inside. He had asked about the law and it seemed that it was, like in Iuthia, perfectly legal to smoke marajuana in the Fedral Union, he just had to watch out for those no-smoking signs...

Breathing out again, his blond aide falling back in line, Ambassador Pearson continued into the hall for the reception, where the young President of the Fedral Union was reading up on his notes for the conference ahead. Deciding not to disturb him, Joey drew himself a glass of water and looked at the food available... he had lost most of his lunch during the time they spent in hyperspace, he wasn't sure he wanted to eat anything just now so he sat down and laid his breifcase on the table staying stood up.

Meanwhile each of his security personnel took positions around the room. The blonde man took one side, the elf man took another and the red haired woman remained close to the Ambassodor for the moment. Joey took a moent to look around to see what other delegates had arrived, concidering for a moment what kind of people he may be dealing with.

Lance corporal sheapred sighed a bit, his squad carried there rail assault rifles in there hands clutching them on there chest.

The lance corporal saw another delegate approaching he went to attention and saluted again, he spoke with a military like deep strong voice “the conference is just down the hall to your right sir past the lifts”

Mean while security personnel and a squad of 6 other marines were positioned around a door way a few decks below the conference.

rob walked over to the iuthian delegate and smiled he held out ah and “ I’m glad you could make it , it’s a pleasure, lets hope things move slowly” his smooth hand stood in the air waiting for a shake, robs shoes gleaned in the bright light of the room as staff members rushed around setting things up.

Putting down his cigerette first, Joey shook the Presidents hand sincerely with a good firm grip, grinning all the while. Despite his pale youth, the President managed to look the part in his very smart presidental suit looking as profressional as a yuppie lawyer. "Me too, lad. I'm glad I could make it."

The Ambassador's expression hadn't changed, still looking as sincere as ever despite his clear mistake on failing to use the Presidents title, perhaps he didn't realise he had done it. Regardless, before anyone could react Joey continued. "So Mr. President, I assume you've got an interesting agenda for us all today; the resolution of intergalactic disputes, a discusssion on current diplomatic relations and perhaps even a bit of trade on the side, perhaps...?

"Oh, forgive my manners, I've not properly introduced my aide, Private Kenwood here. She's with the Iuthian Diplomatic Guard and will be performing the duel role of assistant and bodyguard for me today."

Like the other guards in the Ambassador security detail, Private Kenwood was wearing the IDG black dress uniform, complete with a red beret. As dress uniforms went it was rather simple, as was the style in Iuthia, subtly padded around the vital areas where armour provided additional protection. The private hereself was around 5'9 feet tale with redhair tied back into a short ponytail, acceptable in the IDG. She was clearly in her mid-twenties with an average, albeit clearly well looked after build. The private bowed politely to the President but didn't say a word, following Iuthian custom.

Teal nodded and walked past the Lance Corporal. Golden encased green gems glinted in the flourescent light as they swayed back and forth on his tiarra. Black shoes clicked on the hard floor as he walked past the lifts and went right.

Rob smiled a bit at both of them, his stance rather professional, he replied promptly to question with a professional tone of voice stating “Yes, we will be discussing many things mostly to resolve old disputes and misunderstandings, I’m willing to make compromises if its good for a long term peace deal; as for trade we may discus some trade subjects here but I don’t fully expect it to be a very large topic”

he smiled and then turned over to the Abh ambassador who had just walked in he looked back quickly to the iuthian delegate and said “excuse me for a second sir”

Rob smiled and walked towards the new delegate, his feet tapping on the soft carper as the light reflected over his shoes. He stopped just a few feet from the delegate holding out a hand and stating” its good to see you here, after out last conference went belly up, I thought I wouldn’t be able to get you guys to come to the table again, I guess I was wrong its good to see you here and I hope that we will be able to compromise on our current issues at hand” rob spoke diplomatically as he smiled.

"Of course Mr. President, I'll see you in a bit once we get this thing started." Joey replied as the Fedral President excused himself from the Ambassadors company.

Reaching back down to the ash tray, Joey collected his cigerette and returned it to his mouth for another drag of calming smoke. Only a few guests had turned up so far and one of them was currently spreaking to the President, so Ambassador Pearson looked around the room, which was fairly empty at this point with the few other delegates keeping to themselves reviewing their notes.

Screw this... he thought to himself taking out a seat from under the table. The Iuthian Ambassador then sat back in the chair, resting his feet on the table with an ashtray besides him for his cigerette.

"Take a seat, dear." he said to his body guard who was standing next to him. "This could take a little while..."

Mean while lance corporal Shepard yawned as he wanted for another delegate, there was a notice no weapons were allow accept by the security personnel, lets hope if some one did bring it aboard the person would be reasonable enough to give it up or leave it behind.

Teal nodded and headed over to the table. He found himself a nice cool glass of water. The water refacted in the light as all the colors of the spectrum played out on his face.

The water felt cool and soothing as it washed past his throat. He gently set the glass down and took a seat just waiting.

Decelerating, dropping to warp 9... 8, 7, 6, 5, 4.5, dropping out of warp, entering the system. Scanners to full power and scanning. Scanning..... locked on target: designation station 13, scanning for docking ports, target found, intercept course plotted. Engage at 3/4 impulse, slow to manevering speed only once we are in range.
The Phoenix ship proceeded to dock with the station and the KOP body guards exited the raider and set foot on the stations deck, bechind them came Seville and his aide. He took deep breath and declared to his men that the air was stale and to activate thier internal filtration systems, he did the same. This would help keep any alien airbone diseases in check and soften the sharp metallic smell of the station.

Meanwhile, on Rowle, a courier boat had just finished downloading its messages to the main Astro Control computer core. Among it were astrographic maps, the results of several prospecting missions for both habitable worlds and raw material, and the message from the Federal Union. Astro Control flagged the last message with a high priority, and sent it along to the Foreign Affairs Office, where it was reviewed and analyzed. Several weeks later, Congress called a special session to determine the Republic's response. According to their new directives, they authorized a diplomatic mission, and a light cruiser of the Rowlan Space Navy was dispatched to the Torm system.

Aboard was Rafael Madison, a diplomatic represenative, a Marine honor guard, and three personal bodyguards--though the Republic would have preferred a number on the order of five, or perhaps six, but no one intended to express those views--pulled from the Presidential Guard.

[ Whoo...Sorry about all that time-acceleration, but it was kind of neccessary. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/blast_archives/Emotes/icon_sweatdrop.gif ]

Lance corporal Shepherd stepped in front of the delegates along with his 2 men behind; he spoke in a respectful non threading manner, “I’m sorry sir but the weapons you have are prohibited on this station and conference, I’m going to have to ask you to remove them, or check them in” the 2 other marines stood by shepherd walking up a bit more in a non threatening way.

A message was sent to the cruiser: you are cleared to dock at port 8, we note weapons on this station and during the conference are strictly prohibited .

The KOPs glared at the Lance corporal(which you couldn't really tell from thier opaque masks), and then tossed thier combat rifles and sidearms to the aide who secured them in the docking bay before coming back out.
They then simutanously cracked there knuckles and and said in prefect harmony: "That's ok, I am the weapon."

Shepard took a step to the left and let the gentlemen past pointing towards the hall his black amour gleamed in the light a bit, as his dark blue uniform wrinkled up as he rose his arms with his rifle in hand, he choked a bit saying under his breath “Man.. some of these characters.”

Barney walked by saying in a some what weird accent “hello shepherd , tough day doing security eh ? “

Sheared responded “damn right these characters are odd though, hey do you know if sector C has any men to spare so I can rotate? “

Barney responded “uhh.. well the thing about that were thinly placed but you can talk to L.T Thompson about that she pretty good at logistics”

Shepard sighed “All right, can you relay a message to her saying we could use a rotation?”

Barney nodded as he stood there his light blue security uniform some what wrinkled “Will do Lance corporal”

“Thanks barney” Shepard smiled, Barney walked off quickly, a few other officers walked by including a comm. expert who was mumbling about transmitting coordinates, he taped a few buttons and transmitting a pattern for approach to the waiting cruiser.

Time was dragging on a little now, it had been ten minutes since he last spoke to the President and as would be expected of the young man he was still introducing each new delegate to arrive in order to show proper respect to each of them. All the while Ambassador Pearson sat and watched from his chair, his feet on the table as the others entered the room to be greeted. Joey was an odd sight for any career diplomat as his red hawaiian shirt and saddles completely gave the wrong message.

Next to him sat his aide and bodyguard, Private Kenwood who in context of the Iuthian Ambassador wore the typical black dress uniform with a crimson red beret, her short pony tail flowing down on to her shoulders.

Joey siged quitely to himself, turning to his aide. "So Private, what do you make of this station so far?" he asked, loosing much of the serious professionalism from his voice.

"It's not really my place to say, Ambassador."

"Bah..." the Ambassador replied. "I asked you the question, Private because I was geniunely interested in your opinion on this place, but if you would rather not asnwer..."

"Well, there isn't really much to say Sir, it looked more impressive from the outside to be honest. The security seems to be strong and from what I've read the Fedrals use internal sensors to better co-ordinate their actions and detect threats... but it lacks the charm of home. If I may say so, Ambassador." She replied in a almost curtly manner. Joey simply smiled.

"Thankyou, Kenwood. I must admit it does lack a certain feel. Personally I would rather everyone were here so we could get this thing started and moving..."

TABThe light cruiser slid gracefully to a stop, a short distance away from its designated hatch, and a pinnace seperated from the ship's boat bay. This craft carried the honor guard, the representative, and his personal bodyguards. It would take a minute or so for it to reach the station's external hatch.
TABIt was unusual for someone to use external hatches for regular docking. Normally, one would simply open the doors to one of the boat bays, and the pilots would go inside, where they could move inside without turning on some crazy axis, and have a softer landing as they settled down into the docking cradle. However, if a bay door was locked shut (Or didn't exist, in this case.), then the pilots were forced to trust their side cameras, rather than the wider view of the armorplast viewscreen. The Rowlans were not accustomed to it. Nor were they happy.
TABBut no one save those in the cockpit were aware of the crew's angsty gripings, and it seemed to those in the passenger compartment as though it had been only slightly less gentle when the lock grabbed the shuttle. The light above the airlock blinked on, a soft amber color, and waited ponderously for a few moments before it decided the seal was good enough for it, and flicked green.
TABThe diplomat exited first, swimming the length of the tube with practiced ease--quite odd for a civilian--and caught the grab bar with equal slickness, swinging himself on deck.

Ic:
A large portion of the sky began to warp and twist. There was a pause of merely miliseconds, undetectable to the human eye, or any other eye for that matter. Then there was an explosion of purple light as the Sacred Promise exited Slipspace. The Ship Master, Ryu 'Itiaree, felt there was no need to power down the weapons or anything of the sort. Brethren of the Covenant would not dare attack one another. It would be considered dishonourable and disgraceful. Above all, it would be heresy. Ascension and the path to the Great Journey would be denied to you. The Sacred Promise dispatched a small Seraph fighter. Small in comparison to the ship, anyway. Aboard was Aldama Vortama, the diplomatic representative to this conference, and three Mirratord. The Mirratord are the elite of Unterzagersdorf. Trained in all areas of combat, specifically stealth. The Seraph continued at a slow pace, waiting for approval from the station to dock.

The Prophet of Truth himself was not sent as he is currently away at the Kazeci "New Beginnings" conference aboard the Truth and Reconciliation. When will that continue anyway, Kazec? Oh yeah, and this is Saldonia. I just use this nation, my main nation, for RPing.

All ambassadors were pointed towards the room, shepherd was still at the front desk, he stood there guarding the door, he waved them through, scanners were at full power to scan for weapons and.. pacify them, other security personnel were walking around patrolling the area, even in the confrance room it self armed Federal marines could be seen keeping a close eye on things.

President bastidas mean while was at the table awaiting the arrival of at least one more ambassador, he stood there looking over the dishes that were being brought out by tall and short chefs, most notably tranis fruit , chiken, soup, sandwiches, roasts , ribs all the Terran and Terran primes best food.

he smiled as he looked over to the iuthian ambassador with a look around he decided to walk over stepping professionally in front of him, saying "I aplogize for the delay.. we are waiting for at least one more dealate to arrive if they do not we will begin in a little while , feel free to sample the food, I take it you would like some of the selections there ,if not we can get you something else.. one question however, will you be staying here fro the entire confrance or for parts of it?"

Seville devoured everything within reach and waved for his guards and aide to do the same. They wouldn't need to eat anything else for the next 24 hours.
