A striking dark haired man slowly walked in front of the camera. He was dressed in the typical Antanjyl Agency uniform (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/Kutulmak/kiradesign.jpg)(Minus the shirt), and had a warm, although serious look on his face. Behind him were numerous others, all of whom were dressed in black or white Agency uniforms, in front of a dark picture of a winged figure holding a pike. After some hoarse muttering from out of view the man slowly opened his mouth and began to speak.

"Greetings international community! I am Daemon Farwell, Foreign Minister of Antanjyl and humble servant of our Emperor, Galf. Recently numerous slanderous accusations have propped up about our nation, from talk of a slave trade to greatly exaggerated claims that we were impaling innocent civilians. All of these are false, simply insubstantial rumors started by those who stand against our Autocratic ways and Isolationism, which is slowly coming to an end. These are all started by a growing group of Christian Terrorists within our borders, whose only goal is to topple our government and bring about their own power!"

Daemon stood up and placed a hand against his forehead, "Yet due to these slanderous rumors, the nation of Scandavian States has shown intentions to blockade, and possibly even invade our small soverign society! While our Emperor is far too busy maintaining order in our governing body, he himself is outraged that this act has gone overlooked!"

Following this, Daemon slowly sat back down and smiled at the camera, "While we do not want to burden other nations, any support given to our people, who will no doubt slowly starve to death due to this brutal tactic, will be appreciated. So please... Help the Emperor and myself protect this glorious nation."

With that the camera slowly blacked out followed Antanjyl's national anthem, a seemingly dark, drum filled song with a sparse amount of flutes thrown in. This was followed by a panoramic view of the mountainous range of Antanjyl, eventually stopping at the capital city of Antalia.

The Government of Novoga will not assist Antanjyl nor will we join the blockade. The Government of Novoga is currently involved in a crisis with NTG that will likely lead to war. As such we can't not offer any assistance to you or assistance to those fighting you.

I find such accusations about my integrity slanderous, however I will overlook this for the time being. In fact, I would just like to say that as of recently we have allowed foreign nations in, such as our ally Maldaathi, and they themselves have confessed to not finding anything even remotely related to a slave trade. To further clarify this, the sole other nation within our borders, Red Tide, has also not reported anything. As for the impaling, it is simply a form of capital punishment for terrorists and murderers, nothing more.

Our repeated ships moving around the globe are simply research vessels mapping the ocean's bottom so that we may, in the future build undersea laboratories. Coupled with this are our few ships offering aid to foreign governments. The island of Rejavnis lay some 160 km off the Bandurian coast, well within Bandurian waters as per the controversial, infamous Lucian Corollary. It was the site of one of the largest naval bases in the Imperium, one of the first points of resistance an invading force would encounter... not as though anyone had ever tried to invade Banduria, but with its dozens of enemies such an attack always seemed likely.

The commander of Rejavnis's Imperial Army garrison was a small, plump, bespectacled and completely bald man, resembling more a pottering clergyman than an admiral. Nonetheless, he managed to convey an odd aura of raw power despite his vague and faintly British ways. Lord Archon Tiberius Tak was staring distractedly at a spider climbing one of the faintly off-white walls of his office when an aide ran in and dropped the order on his desk.

"For you, sir," the aide said breathlessly, before running off.

Tak adjusted his spectacles and said rather vaguely, "Oh! yes... of course... er..." He looked around but the aide had already gone. "Let's see now."

The orders were simple but direct.

Mobilise a task force to aid Antanjyl with any spare Imperial Navy units. We have only 900 vessels left active, so use them wisely.

"Another one? Dear me, seems to be so many deployments these days... the Imperial Army is certainly seeing a good deal of action, oh yes... er, where was I?"

Tak's gaze flitted across the room once more in his nervous manner and he began flipping through papers, jotting down numbers in a spare organized manner, calculating, researching times... It was tight, but possible. Antanjyl would receive the aid it needed, and soon.

The next day, Imperial units began mobilising for the conflict, ready within under two weeks. Antanjyl was a northern country, not far from Banduria... this would not be quite as difficult an assignment as some of the Imperium's other successful campaigns.

Tak was a careful man. No more would be deployed to the Antanjyl theatre than was necessary.

And even as the mobilization continued, ballistic missile locks and suicide satellites began moving towards unknown targets. Banduria was a faithful ally, but a merciless enemy. And someone would be on the receiving end of Banduria's enmity, never a pleasant thing for anyone involved. Especially the target.

The Shogunate of Pschycotic Pschycos is APPALED at the fact that a nation will actually allow slavery to exist within their borders, and then spread it beyond! At the same time, we are equally appaled at the fact that innocent people are being slaughtered. We normally have a policy to respect national sovereignity. However, these events are too great to be ignored. Therefore, we are considering a blockade upon your nation and possible further action. Also, we are hereby ordering our naval squadrons to fire upon any slave ships caught in international waters that show signs of being from your nation, going to your nation, registered with your nation, or flying your nation's flag.

A RORSAT(RADAR Oceanic Reconiassance Sattelite)-2 passed over the ocean the Pschycotic Pshycos fleet was in. A modified version of the Russian RORSAT, the RORSAT-2 differed from the Russian version in that it was powered by solar arrays and a storage battery, not nuclear power. Its powerful RADAR Waves bounced off the water, looking for irregularities that ships make. It quite easily detected the moving Pshycos fleet moving towards Antanjyl.

"This is interesting..." the Intellegince-Consortium Analyst looking over the radar image said, "These ships appear to be in a battleformation used by Psychotic Pchsycos. They also appear to be military ships USED by the Pschycosians(OOC:Is that right?). They're course and heading appears to be moving towards Antanjyl."

A nearby Consortium Agent nodded, "I will kick this up the chain of command."

However, in accordance with one of our own laws, our naval facilities have been keeping records of transmissions between themselves and foreign nations for 20 years. We have in these records accounts of you contacting us in our "Navy for Hire" program. One of these transmissions gives very covert hints that a slave trade DOES indeed exist. We currently have a very small number of ships in the area. However, should they be threatened by your military vessels, this number can be vastly increased. Our navy recently returned from a campaign, and are therefore still supplied and ready to mobilize. We are not afraid to continue with this.

OOC: Can we just cut to the chase and hit the part where someone does something rash?

OOC: I will start the war thread just as soon as Scandivian pops up. o_o But I'm warning ya, you have a high chance of being mercilessly invaded should war break out. I'll post in a bit. A few are told they are from diffrent countries too to keep others off track. Right now Antanjyl is completely slave free, or so says this isolationist nation and our two allies who have soldiers within our borders. How does "The Sovereign War" sound? I don't want to put the "Slave War(s)" in any history book, since I'm pretty sure with my current legion of allies I stand an alright chance of pushing back all enemies without anyone the wiser.

Interesting, once again, random accusations from a nation of suspicious integrity have caused an unusual situation. Do you recognize how hard it would be to integrate a slave trade like this, it would run into a massive deception, involving millions of people. Impossible to keep under wraps.

We thank our allies from the great nation of Leafanistan for assisting us in proving how ludicrous such slavery claims actually are. With such a distinct amount of trust from our allies around the world it is hard to suspect that any nation would slander us so. In regards to the rest of your request, we find such a deal in our interests as well.

After searching for a suitable location, we have decided that our north and north-western shore will offer the best chance of an incursion, seeing as it comprises most of our flatlands. Unless they plan our opponents attempt to climb over mountains to get into Antanjyl's interior this will be the best bet. You may place them at any time. Perhaps a small scale military base on our soil will also help cement our nation's growing diplomatic relationship?

"Hmm..." Minister Yuri Golovko's voice trailed off as he read the documentation on the current Antanjyl-Pschycotic Pschycos situation. The Shogun is known to be a bit trigger happy, this looks like....wait, slave trade? THAT caught the minister's attention, no doubt.

As he read on, he continued to become more and more entrenched in the information, until finally he got to the end.

"Not good, not good..." Minister Golovko picked up the packets of documentation and satellite imagry, as well as the SOSUS displays, and took them over to the Kremlin Palace, inside the Andropov Fortress resting in the centre of RAMC, it being Derscon's version of the Chinese Forbidden City.

Yuri entered the Star Office unannounced, but the man behind the large desk knew he was coming.

A single ILLEGAL search or seizure of our ships, regardless of their content will result in full and immediate retaliation. Our ships will be in international waters, you have no reason to search our Naval Vessels. We are conducting Anti-slavery patrols, not attacking your nation. The Government of Novoga only wishes to protect human rights, not engage in a war with Antanjyl or her "many" allies.

The ships of Anti-Piracy Task Force 1 slowly wound their way around the nation a hundred miles off shore, almost boa-like in the way it constricted the space around Antanjyl. Any aircraft that were coming or going from Antanjyl were instructed to either turn around and/or land in Antanjyl. Ships approaching the blockade line were turned away with a message informing them that no sea traffic to or from Antanjyl would be allowed, always with the implied threat of enforcement hovering in the background.

Finally, a message went out over every open radio frequency, "This is Fleet Admiral Xavier DeSoto, commanding Anti-Piracy Task Force 1. I call upon the ring leaders of the Slave Market to surrender themselves and any government officials in collusion with those private individuals to do likewise. Those individuals who run the slave trade have twenty-four hours to signal their intention to surrender. That is all. Admiral DeSoto, out."

Due primarily to the shaping of the hull, it was capable of sprints upwards of sixty knots and the nuclear reactor gave it a theoretical range measured in years even at normal top speed. Another important fact was that it was the first class, although no longer the only one, to mount over-the-horizon radar capable of detecting surface targets. Combined, the Gladius was not only able to detect the distant target, it was also able to chase it down, which it did with speed that could be best described as alarming to anybody not used to it.

The Bridge Communications Officer put out the standard hostile challenge, "Unidentified ship, you are approaching an Imperial Navy blockade. Identify yourself and heave to in preparation for boarding. Failure to comply or any resistance will be met with deadly force. This is your only warning."

You can check with the Leafanistani Trade Ministry on our ship. We will continue sailing toward your blockade and will stop within 100 nautical miles"

The captain turned toward the systems, he ordered all personnel go to battle stations, AK-109s were removed from the hold, Stingers and RPG-29s will armed and ready. The front and rear guns were loaded and prepared to be raised. The gladiators, slaves, though loyal, were given AK-74s and told to stand ready to fight for the shipment, 3 metric tonnes of televisions. Their indoctrined training from childhood didnt' allow them to argue, they dutifully took their positions. The ship slowed to a snail's pace and finally stopped.

Urgent Communique to All Involved Nations

The Holy Tsar of the Divine Prussian Empire of Derscon urges all involved parties to attend a summit at the Kremlin Palace in Derscon in order to discuss this situation. There is absolutely no need for useless bloodshed in this effort. It is in all parties' best interests to discuss this with words before discussing it with blood.

Hence, the Tsar extends an invitation to come to the Kremlin for a summit about this situation in order to prevent it from becoming unstoppable.
