Atruria Announces Space Program
DURENHALL - Earlier this morning, HRM, High King Charles III (Charles Lothar) held a press briefing, during which he announced the creation of a new government agency, the Royal Agency for Space Exploration, or RASE. Run by Director Morgan Patrick, a former professor of Galactic Theory at the Royal University of Durenhall, in the capitol city, RASE (pronounced raze) will be a joint-agency. It will be subject to the jurisdiction of HM Ministry of Defense and HM Ministry of Energy, as well as the Ministry of Transportation. Each of the Ministries mentioned will have a liaison permanently stationed in the Agency and their ministers will convene on monthly conferences, along with the High King. According to King Charles, the construction of the first Atrurian spacecraft is already underway and is expected to be completed within the next two months. Also under construction are satellites which will be harnessed for use by Atrurian police forces, RASE, and the Royal Geospatial Bureau of the Defense Ministry's General Inquisition.[]

ATRURIA COLONIZES ISLAND
DURENHALL - Yesterday, at approximately 3:35 PM, a Royal Decree was released from the Royal Press Office, signed by His Royal Majesty, High King Charles Lothar. The Decree was one of many that have radically changed the High Kingdom's foreign and internal policies. The Decree officially annexed the island of Isolond, one-hundred and fifty meters offshore of the High Kingdom's Duchy of Ardhain. The isle is approximately three times the size of Durenhall, the capitol city of Atruria. The colony will be officially named the Crown Colony of Isolond. It will be split into three municipal administrative divisions, the Captaincy of East Isolond, the Republic of Western Isolond, and the Lordship of Ibenir. The Lordship will be run in the form of most of Atruria's fiefdoms, as a monarchy under the High King, being lead by the newly-titled, Lord John Marbury. The Captaincy will be run in a similar fashion, minus the nobility, and be governed by a Captain of the High King's choosing. Finally, the Republic of Western Isolond will be run by an elected President. All three of these colonies will be run by the royally appointed Viceroy of the Crown Colony of Isolond. Already, the first settlers have arrived in Isolond. Approximately five-thousand people already have chosen to reside on the isle, but it is expected to increase to eleven-thousand, or even fifteen-thousand by some of the most liberal estimates. []
