Religious squabbling in Pananab (MT)

Pananab

Catholicism(SP) and Sunni Islam are the two fastest-growing religions in Pananab, each claiming about one-third of the population, with local Parubian being the largest third. The Sunni Muslims and Catholics get along fine with one another in Pananab, but both religions are pressuring Parubians to convert to their religion. The Parubians follow all of Pananab's ancient customs with a modern touch and even to a small extent cannibalism, but the Parubian religion is mostly peaceful with a few sects being warriorlike. Both Islamic and Christian religions in Pananab have allowed some Parubian customs to be performed by the natives, but many of them are being discarded, to the dismay of the Parubians who wish for the Pananab culture to retain itself.

--Panrabia--
Friday evening disgruntled Parubians formed a large mob in front of a Mosque and a riot broke out, partially destroying the Mosque with Muslims inside. The Muslims quickly reacted by forming a mob of their own and a large fight broke out which was only broken when police got involved. Fifty-two people were killed and over a hundred were injured.

Later on Sunday, a Mass was disrupted by protestors, and when the priest went to try to calm them, the mob lynched the priest. He is still in the hospital but is expected to recover. The church was soon sacked by the Parubians and another fight between the Christians and the Parubians broke out.

The conflicts were thought to be restricted to the Parubians, but this was not the case. Two neighboring communities, one Muslim and the other Christian, have been having desputes on whether to put a Mosque or a Church on a plot of land. On Monday, a small fight between four teenagers escelated to include up to twenty people, but police were able to calm it before anyone was seriously injured.

These fights have the Pananabian government worried, but they assure the public that they will do everything they can to get the ethnic groups to get along better and live in peace. Christians and Muslims have begun to also target the Government, which is comprised of mostly Parubians, including the President. General Zheng AoLi is very upset at the whole thing, saying that General Stowes did not fight just so Pananab could squabble over meaningless things when everyone can get along just fine, just as they did when they were fighting Emperor Pudu.

With Police and Military involvement, many riots and fights have been subdued. Tempers are still high and the government is worried that the latest Congress election has reflected this anger with many radical and angry polticians being elected. The President has urged all three parties to avoid proposing bills that may anger another ethnic group, which caused much backlash from Congress. Hakunin Jahuziz fears that this backlash will not end well for his administration.

It's going to be a long term.

It's been a quiet month with the recent ethnic squabblings. None of the politicians seem to have brought any of the issues up, to the relief of the President, but the Jahuziz administration is still on its toes. Congress has actually approved a bill enouraging schools to teach ethic equality in schools, to Hakunin's amazement. Little known to the government, things were just beginning to stir up...
OOC: Now I need the following from the international community: An extremist Islamic group and someone to stir up the Catholics and Parubians.

From Union Canada Foreign Ministry

We are upset over the bloodletting in your nation because of ethnic strife. We are a newly created nation which is extremely poor, but has 15 ethnic groups within its 5 million people. We are also apart of the United Nations, so if you would need U.N peacekeepers in your country, we could spar 50 soldiers and 10 police officers as U.N peacekeepers until dialogue can be reached.

Pananab does not require international assistance at this time. We are still stabilizing after our independence from Pudu and Red Tide and the rapid growth or reverse thereof of these groups is not helping.

Also, Pananab is not a UN member, nor does it plan to be. Should the Pananab police and military forces become inadequate, we will ask for international aid.

The situation is currently under control. We have all ready prevented several riots and our numbers are enough to keep the groups under control. Pananab is capable of controlling itself. Pananab all ready has enough MPs for our own use, more than 500.

About 12:00 AM at night...

2 boys around 20 walked torwards a Mosque. To the citzens they are hoodlums. But they knew they where apart of a terroist group. ZEN it was called. It was based in Zackaroth and led by Michael von strangaild, former leader of zackaroth. They had been given a task. To stir up trouble between the reilgons here in Pananab and make sure christianty wins.

They sliently picked the locks to Mosque and went inside. Withen minutes it was opened and they started spray painting the whole place. They broke chair with hammers and tore down the holy symbols on the walls. It was getting noiser by the minute and they realized the nieghborhood would wake up. They got out and ran for it leaving behind a trashed Mosque

((Get the Parubian temple next. The main Parubian God is called 'Kartoo'))
The Imam, who lived next door, was awoken by all of the noise and put on his robes. He beckoned his sons awake, who grabbed instruments of destruction such as pipes and sticks, and led them to the Mosque. He was shocked by teh sight that he saw. The front door, which was engraved with the first Psalm of the Koran, had been spraypainted over with the words 'Jesus is Lord, Islam is Evil' on it. The Imam opened the door and began to cry at the sight of the destroyed Mosque. He ordered his sons to round up the men in the neighborhood and trash the Church nearby. They went from house to house, getting all of the men who picked up some instrumnent of destruction and they marched down the neighborhood into the Christian settlement.

There was a large, magnificient Church here, which was attacked by a flying stone, followed by an angry mob that proceeded to destroy the church, waking up the neighborhood. After the church was sacked, they lynched the Priest and set the church on fire. The mob left the church to burn and moved to the Nunery, in which the building was sacked and defaced. The nuns were violated by the Muslims and the building was set ablaze.

The Christians began to form another mob that tracked down the Muslims, but by that time the Muslims were all ready in their own neighborhood. They would dare not venture into enemy territory like this, as the Muslim community was much larger than the Christian one, and they would surely be slaughtered by the Muslims.

The two boys found the Parubian church. This time though they posed as Muslims. It all apart of the plan. to get all three sides involved. They went inside and started trashing the place. They found a statue of the God Kartoo. They wrote on the walls " Islam is surpreme. Your God kartoo has fallen to just as jesus christ has to the Christians". For an hour they wrote horrible things and then once again left after making alot of noise again.

((When they all become militiant, you can, but if the Military finds out Pananab will declare war and while there would be fighting at home, most of them would wind up signing on for the Military.))
All Parubians worship Kartoo, but some worship Deewae, the Goddess of Night. Those who do are nocturnal, believing that in order to keep society running they must sacrifice their days to keep people alive during the night and help their Godddess, so the Terrorists were spotted by Deewaes. They sounded the alarm and awoke the neighborhood and informed them of the defaced Kartoo Temple. The Parubians, tired of the Muslims informing them on how they are infidels and how they will burn in hell for not worshiping God, decided enough was enough. The Parubians sent one runner to the Christian neighborhood when it was discovered that the Christians had also been attacked. They decided that alone they had no hope of driving out the Muslims, but when combined they were huge. The combined mobs marched onto the Muslim community asn they began wrecking everything, but by this time the Police had interfered. A blockade was set up on all entrences to the Muslim neighborhood and Riot Police were being deployed.

They two men did not realize until later what impact they had. They soon formulated a new plan. they split up. one went to the Christian nieghbor hood and the other to the Pananb one. both of them still dressed up like Mulsims went to light fires in the houses of both reilgous nieghborhoods.

The ZEN held a deep hate for Mulsims because they had helped overthrow the old goverment. it would please them all to many die. With many people out in riot it was easy to start small fire in the homes which would turn bigger since alot of people where not home.

One of the terrorists were spotted in the Parubian neighborhood and a small group of men gave chase to the man before he could set another house on fire. For a mob they could run pretty fast.

The two men ran fast until they found a small hiding place inbetween two houses. They disrobed quickly and put a Cross necklace around there necks they came out and looked beat up and bruised. The group of men ran in the direction they pointed and nothing was thought of it.

The riot raged on as the Christians and Parubians fought against the Pananab Riot Police. APCs were hosing down the mob and shielded riot police were launching tear gas and blockading the mobs. Unknwon to all of them, a group of teh Muslims, who were former Soldiers during the Independence War, had a stash of weapons. Twelve men, armed with AK-47s, machine guns, even an RPG, walked into the buildings near the riots and opened fire, detroying an APC and mowing down many of the rioters. A panic ensued and the mob began to dissapate as the Parubians and Christians fled in fear.

The men retreated back home. The day was long for them. they needed more help. When they got home they sighed in frusration of learning of the mulsim attack. They would show those Mulsims that ZEN is here and to be feared. They would have to find a way to smuggle in weapons and get some more men here.

The city in which teh fighting has begun has been put under Martial Law until the Military can get things calmed down. The Parubians have taken up arms against the Muslims, but most of the Christians refuse to do so. Political arguements over what happened are raging in Panrabia over who is right and who is wrong, but none of them seem to be winning. The only ones who seem to be getting most of the guilt from these debates are the Muslims, and the Muslim politicians are putting up one hell of a fight.

Many of the more extreme Parubian leaders are using these fights as an advantage to their own viewpoints. The Western Religions are infiltrating Pananab and are slowly causing the nation to rot again and split Pananab into 2 or even 3 nations. They are calling apon the Parubians to take up arms against the foreign religions. Several of the villagers are gettiong ready to do just that, making plans for raids on Muslim and Christian towns.

Michael von strangaild smiled as he got the news. People where so easy to trick. they where not serving God. Michael knew that. But a dark sinster evil. He had tricked people into doing things for Satan. Michael disguised every word and every name. How foolish they all where.

In reality Michael was crazy. He has many mental disorders and one which he believes the devil is telling to do things and he obeys. Combining that with alot of charmisa though the craziness doesn't seem so crazy anymore. And replace the words Satan with God and round up some extremeists and your set.

His next order though would end the lives of his two lackies. This would be a horrible to the mulsims in Pananb if it worked.

[OOC: Ok, things are going to hit the fan. So I assume its now ok for me to enter into this ordeal.]

"Rise up! Rise up Parubians! Fight against the foreign religions who seek to impose their false God upon us! Now is the time to purify our people! Let them taste our lead!" shouted a Panabian politican raising his fist into the air. York laughed, just like a politican, whoever this guy was he probably wanted to be in some sort of high-power position and being the man to give the green light to cleanse the nation of Christians and Muslims could get him some respect. If it failed, however, it could get him a trip to the eletric chair. Either way this situtation now called for intervenetion. Panaba would be allowed to purge Christians from their lands. Moslems were secondary in terms of protection, but would nontheless be protected. Though this Parubian religion rejected the reality of one God, and that he created everything. Prehaps they needed to be taught a lesson in tolerance. York immiedately got some stomach pain, remebering all the Moslems he'd ordered to be killed and all the Buddists who'd commited suicide in protest. He was sure divine retribution would come upon him one day. He just hoped it came after he established a Christian Order in the world.

"Sir, we could have a team in Pananaba in about twenty hours. They're pretty far away, but we could carrier hop with transport helicopters, then take the final stream in on boat during the night. A piece of cake one could put it," stated Major Halibard, commander of the Jagadian Elite Teutonic Special Forces. The Teutonic use to be an aircraft, but after it was phased out of service during the Fanatical Civil War, being replaced with the EJAC-Roll, the name was then tagged onto the Jagadian Special Forces. These troops were highly trained, they had fought in the Colonial War against the Macabees, and had faced the best of what the Macabees could threw in terms of special forces. Plus their major role in the Fanatical Civil War gave them even more experiance--they were the best of the best, second only to the Rear-Guard.

"Hmmm...do you know what our overall objective is?" asked York. He'd only recently called Major Halibard into the room, just as the news report came in, and he was sure Halibard didn't know what his real mission would be.

"Yes sir, I believe so, move in, terminate the Pananab government, and establish a Christian Theocracy in its ashes," stated Halibard in a very diciplined voice. York couldn't help but chuckle, but kept from embarassing the Major, "No, not quite. I want you to bring this nation to its knees. Save both Moslems and Christians, and turn the country against its original religion. Allow the reign of the Parubians to come to an end, and in its wake allow a Christian and Moslem order to rise. Keep the government in power, but feel free to dissolve certain members of it, if need be," stated York.

Halibard gave a crisp salute, "Yes sir!" York smirked, Halibard was a little too serious at times, but he always got the job done. He remebered during the Fanatical Civil War how Haliberd led his personal squad threw the front lines at the city of Inn, got into the city, and alone harassed enemy supplies so much that it allowed York's forces to overwhelm the line. In a sense Halibard actually won the Fanatical Civil War.

---

Twenty Hours Later...
Staff Seargent Kneeman checked all his gear, from his recently acquired DR-83 Tactical Rifle, bought from Doomingsland, and now being used by almost all of Jagada's forces. Though of coarse, for this missile sound reducers and mufflers had be screwed into the rifle. Kneeman was a little surprised, primarily because the old Jagadian rifles the Macabee-designed Hali-21 didn't have such an option--or at least Imperial Ordinance never made any mufflers for them. Either way, the DR-83 was better and was already be earned the name "Centy", primarily because the Doomingsland Defense Industries placed so much pride into the rifle that they called it the "DR-83 21st Century Tactical Rifle" and thus Jagadians humbly call it the "Centy". With his Centy checked and he having all other nessecarily gear ranging from flares to GPS to various types of gernades plus extra ammo. Of coarse the Centy's would probably run out of ammo on the mission and would have to be dumped in favor of more primitive rifles in which more ammo can be acquired for them. Though Kneeman planned for this and the most common type of rifle in the world, the AK-47, was reported to be in Pananab and thus they could borrow or take them from whoever.

He looked upon at his ten man squad, this was the first mission in a foreign country, but not their very first mission. They'd been on plenty very dangerious and very complex missions during the Fanatical Civil War. They all had the eyes of old man, yet not one of them was thirty, and each had the military knowledge of generals and field marshalls, or at least in a soldier sense. He made a hand motion and each man bowed his hand. In silence they said a prayer in their minds, to whatever gods or God they worshiped. Of coarse, Christianity was the new State Religion, but the Armed Forces had been spared the wraith of York in exchange for loyalty to him. Many Moslems sitll remained in the military and were promised by York to be given pardons and still allowed to freely practice their religion. Many agreed out of pure loyalty, others by fear, and others for unknown reasons. Either way, once all of them were finished they nodded and made their way to their two seperate boats.

Staff Seargant Kneeman was in the one boat leading a 'group' of five men, while 1st Class Private Walker was leading another 'group' of five men. Kneeman trusted Walker, and vis versa. Quickly from the stealth frigate the boats were lowered into the water, they then quietly took off to the shore which was about ten miles away. As they appoarched the shore they abandoned the boats and allowed themselves to quietly fall into the water, then they swam to the shore. As Kneeman heads came out of the water he scanned the areas for anyone, civilian or hostile. Since it was night, he didn't expect too many people to be out. If they were it was simply a matter of quietly and quickly moving so that they would no be seen. As his team made their way into the beach they're mission was clear. To immiedately find the Christian leaders.

Using maps they'd gained from the Internet, Jagadian intelligance agency, along with the travel guide and independant sources on Pananab they located most of the Christian neighborhoods. Quietly moving out, using night vision goggles, and they're stealth training, they quietly made their way towards the Christian neighborhoods. Once there they quickly sought out for the nearest 'leader' of the Christians.

Parooia
Site of the fighting
As fighting continued to spring up between Parubians and Muslims, General Zheng AoLi, offended at the reaction of the people to such a meaningless matter and how it goes against everything General Stowes stood for. The General order the deployment of Military forces, even though it was without consent or approval of the President. Hakunin would have too many doubts about it.

Over two dozen vehicles rolled out of the tunnels in the plateau above the city, which roared down the slope and into the city, deploying over a hundred Pananab Elites, members of the original Stowian Mercenary group, Alternative Means. They were fully briefed on the situation and knew exactly what to do. Their mission was to find all weapon stashes, mark, and capture them to de-arm the mobs. Then the city would be put under curfew and the Holy sites would be restored. Propaganda would remind the people that their religious differences had no hindrances when they were fighting Emperor Pudu, and it shouldn't now in the Post-Stowian world.

The MPs all ready had the exits severed and blocked, so the soldiers were allowed to move through with no confrontation. Armored buses and APCs rolled through the streets into a heavy combat area. Bodies littered teh ground and gunfire was all about. As soon as the Military was spotted, the fighting slowed and once the soldiers left, it stopped. The MPs weren't battle-hardened and were freshly trained. Most of them are young men who couldn't join the Independence War, but the sight of the experienced Panabian Elite just showed that the Military meant business. Groups of Muslims and Parubian approached the vehicles and set down their weapons. If they continued to fire at each other, they knew, the Military would start subduing both parties, even with lethal force. If they fired on the Military, the whole city would be burned to the ground.

The arrival of the Military made the entire city quiet down, almost in an eerie fashion. Loudspeakers announced the curfew as people went back into their homes or displacement camps if their homes were no longer there. Fire engines roared through the streets, being the only sound, and could be heard for miles. Those who had a TV or a radio heard the Government messages telling them of how brave and strong the Pananabian people were during the Independence War and that they should not weaken now. Programs were put on teh air telling the differences and eerie lieknesses between Islam and Christianity, while others were showing the richness of the native culture and how it should be accepted. Needless to say, not many TVs and radios were on during these messages.

John Tukal was a devout Catholic, but he was also the mayor of Parooia. Paroia has the largest mix of all three of the cultures, so it was no surprise to him that the cultures collided like they did. The presence of the military, however unexpected, was effective and to him at this point desired. While he had no love for Islam or Paruba, he acknowledged their rights to practice and to exsist. He reminded all of his loyalty to Jesus but all accepted John as a good mayor, which is why he's in his third term all ready.

Parooia,Pananab

Staff Seargant Kneeman raised his fist up a bit to signal his men to stop. Which they of coarse did. Parooia wasn't as easy a target as once assumed or expected, but nothing he hadn't encountered in Jagada. The Military Police did seem skilled, but they're faces were redish and their skin fair--green troops. Men whos names on their birth certificates were barley dry. Kneeman knew he could have a field day, young troops in a hostile domestic situtation, the Pananabian Military would clearly have a religious rift, and these green troops were be forced to choose--Country or God? No to mention that if the stuff hit the fan, and chaos ensued, that these troops, whom were green, would be making country-shattering decisions during the chaos of battle. This situtation would have gone done in some Jagadian Military Handbook on how to bring a nation to its knees.

Once the Teutonics (Special Forces) were inland, Kneeman had to change the plan after seeing the Military Police enter the city. He would need to drive the city into chaos, force the military to make an extremely difficult decision, then locate the Christian leaders and from there work towards establishing Christianity as a dominate force in Pananab. Kneeman's other group of soldiers, Squad B, under the command of Private First Class Walker were acting like shadows going across the city of Parooia, trying to find a weak spot in the Military. Once Kneeman's operation succeeded they could exploit the chaos and fullfill their half of the initial operation. Kneeman knew Walker could handle the situtation. Kneeman's goal was simple: Terminate John Tukal. With swiftness like that of a fox, and within the darkness like shadows, Squad A made it way pass each military checkpoint and grouping of soldiers. During the nightfall of the operation, it made it easier to move. Pananabian Troops were probably much more cautious, but so was both Squads.

As Kneeman looked around the corner of a building from a dark alley, he saw the Mayor's Office, or from what he'd gathered from local posters, Jagadian intelligance. It was only common place to gather intelligance on the Mayor's residence, along with just about every other known government facility. Primarily due that any good soldiers need to know the leadership of the city where they're about to spark a revolution. Kneeman and his Squad A then slowly made their way to a dark alley even closer. He expected Military Police or at least Riot Police to be stationed at the Mayor's Facility. He didn't expect, but did know it was possible, for the Military to take over and use it as they headquarters. If Military Police were there in thick, then he knew. If they weren't, well then that only meant the chances were less likely. He expected the Pananabian military to prehaps choose a more 'suttle' location, something that if the stuff hit the fan, they're main headquarters couldn't be so easily targeted. Kneeman ordered his Marksmen, Private Green, and despite his last name he was a crack marksmen who had close to a hundred kills in the Fanatical Civil War, and in such a war as that where the Fanatics were nearly impossible to kill--such a record was legendary. The other members of Squad A, Kneeman included, simply hid in the nearest abandoned building or somewhere where they couldn't be easily found. Private Green entered into an apartment complex via using a ladder to get to the roof, then using the door at the top (which he unlocked with some handy tools) and moved down very quietly, with his silenced pistol in his hand. Using his mirror he could easily check each room for any inhabitants, once he found a clear room he used his 'lock-breakers' and managed to unlock the door. He entered the room like he would an enemy bunker, with his silenced pistol in hand. If someone was hiding, drunk, high, or just sleeping and he didn't catch it with his mirror, he needed to only pull the trigger a few times before they even knew what was happening, by the time anyone came looking for them it would be far too late for their souls but at the same time by the time they came looking for them then the assassination would already be underway. Green quickly turned off any lights that may have been on and got to a window, he simply kept staring out the window at the Mayor's Office. When he saw him it would only take a few, maybe ten seconds, to get his rifle into a firing position, then only a fraction of a second to fire. One bullet, of this rifle placed anywhere would probably knocked him to the ground if he was saved by the divine, and with a second shot, he would need God himself to be spared an early grave.

And now they waited...

While the MPs were green as hell, a Pananab Military man was more experienced than most Special Forces. A Panabite Elite would among the best in the world, having been in every theater of war since 1980. The MPs were ordered to merely gaurd the entrances and exits of the city and a few select others. The Military would handle everything else.

Most of the city was quiet with just a few Civilian Police about. The Military was monitoring larger problems. They had found evidewnce that the riots were irritated into action by a fourth party, most likely an extremist Christian group, as Muslims wouldn't deface a Mosque and the Parubian religions didn't extend out of Pananab and a Parubian terrorist group would have surfaced months ago.

Most of the men knew how Terrorists thought, many having been members of the Taliban, Al-Queda, or another terrorist group at one point of their lives. While weapon stashes were being seized all over the city, they were able to find out about the two men who attacked the Mosque and linked them to the sacking of the Kartooian temple. It was now evident that they were dealing with terrorists by this point.

The Mayor's office
John was a bit worried for his own safety, but he trusted his Military bodygaurds well enough. He avoided windows and stood away from doors. His bodygaurds were always with him, even if they weren't visible. A ninja-like Special Op was clung to the ceiling of his office, which slightly bothered him, as he had no idea what the man was going to do next; He nearly shot a vending machine when it turned on unexpectedly.

John kept going through his paperwork and had a speech written all ready. John was ready to go to bed. He decided that his desk was too close to the window, and moved it again. A Soldier with a helmet an a Kevlar vest walked in and gave a hand signal known only to the Soldiers to the Mayor. He had no idea what it meant, but he nodded. He knew it was for the Ninja.

The Jagdian men had been spotted sneaking around the alleyways of the city and when their Centies were spotted as they entered the light briefly, it was inferred that they weren't friendlies. When the lights of a room in an adjacent building went off, they studied the place closely. It was a perfect sniping postion on the Mayor.
"Well, not too perfect, too easy to spot as a perfect spot," one of the Elites said to his CO, being a sniper during the War.

The Mayor was escorted out of the building as a soldier and his decoy sat in a limo while the real Mayor went to walk into a Military vehicle. It wasn't until the real Mayor's head exploded when they realized that the Mayor didn't walk like a Panabite Elite, whereas the fake one was one.

1st Class Private Green smirked, one shot-one killed, like always. He slowly pulled back his rifle and while dissembling it he pushed a button on his suit. That button would send a vibration to all other Teutonic members, and this vibration meant that the Mayor was 'terminated'. Green had dissembled his rifle close to a thousand times and did so without thinking and within in record time. He loaded it up, pulled out his silenced pistol, and went out the same way he entered. Slowly opening the door on the roof, and only enough for him to slip out, locking it behind him and closing it quietly. He then rushed over to the ladder and slid down it, once on the ground he quickly, but using the darkness of alleys to go down the streets to regroup with his squad commander, Staff Seargant Kneeman. Though while Green was cautious, he knew the grid set up by his squad. In some of these buildings down this street, in alleys, hiding behind trashcans maybe or prehaps on the roofs were the other members of Squad A. If he came under fire, they could respond if he got injured. Though he doubted this, the Pananabian military would probably have its hands tied trying to simply secure the Mayor's House and for media purposes, secure what was left of the Mayor. It was amazing what a single large caliber bullet could do, or so thought Private Green.

---

Private Walker, now dubbed 'Co-Walker' or just 'CO' by Squad B felt the vibration on his shoulder, and gave a slight smirk. He never doubted the abilities of Kneeman, but he couldn't help but feel a tab bit nervious. Though Walker's task was simple. He figured that at least one member of the one of the squads had been seen, some way or some how, common sense dictated this. Due in part that a curfew was set and thus walking around like normal civilians wasn't an option, and he figured the Pananabian military was dressed very differently than the Teutonics. Nevertheless it would still be hard to track them by now.

Walker and Squad B held most of the Main Squad's (both squads combined) heavy weapons such as HMGs, RPGs, Explosives, and other such equipment. Thus they would actually prove useful for their designated task. The Pananbian Military was probably nervous, probably not. Though with the suddenly sound of explosions, heavy gunfire, and then silence would probably leave a lasting impression on these former terrorist units. It was kind of hard for a nation to hid all of its military personels pasts. Jagadian Intelligance, also known as 'The Eye', had found the past of several soldiers and learned that they were apart of Al-Qeada or the former Taliban. So they probably has experiance with gureilla warfare. Though that was OK in Walker's opinion, because he and his Squad had been apart of a secret gureilla ops mission in Jagada prior to the Battle of Inn, and throughout the war. So he had a great deal of knowledge.

The task was simple, while Squad A moved to take out the Mayor. They had moved and found a military command center. Prehaps nothing too major, just more of a 'section command station', something that if destroyed would probably disorganize the troops in that area of the city for about three hours. Giving plenty of time to complete the full mission. Squad B had positioned themselves in a circle position around the command center, they had taken great pains to attempt to avoid military detection. They waited, and waited, and when the each of them got the vibration--they knew what they had to do. Time froze for a moment, as almost all at once the Teutonics let loose a hailstorm of fire. RPGs began being lobbed in from one position, while two heavy machineguns let loose on the troops that would probably be caught off guard, one small arms fire provide a more accurate destruction for the troops, and another small arms soldier began to launch gernades into the command position.

With a matter of just a minute, a couple of RPGs, hundreds of rounds of machine gun fire, dozens of small arms fire, and about five or six gernades just rained death upon the unsuspecting troops of a section command area.

All the while Squad A was moving to secure their next objective in the mission...

But the Panabites were smarter than that. Even though they had a strong presence, all areas that were a 'Cental Command' were only temporary, and even without one, the Military could function easy without it. Most of their orders were coming from outside the city anyway.

The Soldiers scattered as the RPGs flew towards the tent that was anything close to a central command. The tables and chair exploded and teh soldiers ducked as wood fragments flew about. Three men died, but their bodies were dragged away so their casualties couldn't be counted, a trick they learned from their Terrorist days. There was an eerie silence as one Panabite sniper spotted Pvt. Walker and lined up a shot quickly. He made sure it was a good shot and fired.

Warning from Pananab Government and Military to Dweladelfia Prime
Pananab is warning Dweladelfia Prime to not move its fleet within stricking distance of Pananab with artillery, ship-transported missile, troop deployment, or Air-to-Air aircraft. You have expressed your willingness to attack any group who become involved with an arising conflict in Pananab. Your intervention is not necessary and your oepn support for them has turned you into a threat to Pananab security. Dweladelfian fleets are not permitted to enter Pananab waters or within stricking distance with any of the listed military equipment. The Pananab military will act if you violate this order.

OOC: And I do mean it. The Military just wants to keep the peace, so they won't harm any of the groups unless they fire on them or begin to fight again. The presence of your fleets within said stricking distance will be considered a threat, especially with the tensions being so high. With your fleet there, all of the sides will become militiant again. The Christians will take up arms because they know if the Military does anything to stop them you'll get involved, teh Muslims because if the Christians pick up arms they'll be shot at. The Parubians have a semi-alliance with the Christians, so they'll fight alongside them, but Radical Christianity would pick up quickly and we'll have a four-way civil war, which is inevitable anyway, but if you get involved, the Military will be securing Parooia and you'll have a war on your hands. In short, if you do this and you're public about it, I'll declare war and this whole thing will be put on pause.

In the event that the situation in Parooia worsens, we are willing, with your permission, to deploy the 6th Airborne Division to the city to act as neutral peacekeepers.

That is acceptable, but will probably not be necessary. The situation is well under control, especially with the absence of the Media.

The fighting in Parooia has been halted and the Military will continue to occupy it for the next three days. A permanant military installation will be constructed nearby in case fighting re-ignites.

However, a chemical plant in neighboring Jaweyak exploded the next morning. Jaweyak is a large Parubian city, with a small Christian population. The chemical plant held over 500 Parubian employees and visitors that day. Only 9 were able to escape, 4 of whom died soon there after. 2 remain in critical condition, 1 is in a coma, and the remaining 2 have released tstimonials on what happened. The explosion was no accident and the blame was placed on extremist Christians. The Military is investigating and while their point is valid, it is also likely that the explosion was because of extremist Parubians fingering it on Christians. The Parubian God of Murder is infamous for having followers who will use such tactics, which were used against the Egyptians and European powers during the Imperialist period against the French, British, and Spanish.

Parooia,Pananab
A shot rang out that overwhelmed all the other shots. Walker felt his arm shatter under the impact of the bullet. Clearly his bone was broken. He let out a screaming pain, but with all the heavy machinegun fire going on one probably couldn't hear it.

Though out on the streets, it must have been a bloodbath for the surprised Pananbians who were now under RPG, Heavy Machine-Gun, and Small Arms fire which surely was tearing threw their ranks. If anything this engagement was simply to show just how effective Jagada's hit-and-run tactics were.

The initial battle took serveral soldiers, but soon the Jagadians realized that they weren't shooting at anything but buildings and rocks. The Pananab Elite had, almost literally, disappeared. The soldiers found the point of fire by the machine guns and were silently moving in. Their foes were trained and experienced, but these men had many more years on them. While the MPs and more recent recruits were torn and began to retreat, the former members of Alternative Means had few casualties and made the offensive.

Sgt. Kartaug was one of General Stowes's personal spies. The Sargeant lurked in the darkness and was invisible to the naked eye when he wanted to. He's also clever enough to fool most detection devices, too. Finding Pvt. Walker was easy enough. He was a sniper, and Kartaug had taken out more than two-hundred and fifty snipers in his time. The Private was just a boy in his eyes and had no right shooting at the experienced Pananabian Elite. Kartaug smirked to himself as he remembered that this sniper was the one who shot the Mayor, so he gave Walker some credit. Kartaug, silent as death, walked up begin Walker and knocked him out with a Sleeper hold and carried him to a secured building.

[OOC: Er, Walker didn't shoot the mayor--Green did. Also you've got a better chance of becoming an admiral or field marshall in most nations than you do advancing beyond private in Jagada's military. You've got do something nearly divine. So privates aren't nessecarily inherently inexperianced.]

Parooia,Pananab

As soon as the Pananabians were no longer in sight, the Teutonics knew exactly what to do--disengage. The situtation was no longer safe. Where Private Walker was, though, he was in some danger. Seargant Kataug was advancing up the stairs slowly towards him, and with Walker blinded by pain he couldn't do much. Though coming into the building with extreme silence and stealth was the other small arms soldier, a Private Jaggur. He immiedately saw Kataug going up the steps, and was sure he hadn't heard him come in since he'd did so like he would in an hostile situtation. For all Jaggur knew Walker was already captured and if he rushed in gung-ho, he would only be shot. As he advanced to the base of the stairs, he saw Kataug reach the top of the stairs.

In a single motion he slung around, pulling out his silenced pistol, and fired a full clip at the back of the Seargant.

Elsewhere the rest of the squad was breaking off and going their seperate ways, they had various regrouping points, though they all knew which one to go to, and were already on their way.

((Well, I didn't exactly know that, now did I, Jag? Also, a professional like the Sargeant wouldn't be so easily spotted unless he really messed up.))
The Pananab Government does not favor any of the fighting sides and is doing all it can to protect its citizens. No specific ethic group is being targeted, we are only trying to keep the peace. The Pananab Government will not take lightly to official statements of support to any group other than the Pananab Government. The President personally believes that each statement is a declaration of war against Pananab. Neither will any Pananab citizen be transfered to another nation for any reason other than extradition because of their individual actions.

Achbar Stowes has gathered his forces and is traveling south into Northern Pananab. Achbar's forces are not grand, nor are they as trained as the Pananab Elite, but Achbar is a brilliant commander and is more than capable of stabilizing the nation by military force. It is likely that General Zheng AoLi will give Stowes a Commanding position, all though Stowes has no intention of keeping Zheng alive.
