I pray the Gaians recieved our message...there was alot more Subspace interference. If not, I just pray that they won't be alarmed...

Moments later, Bernard watched as Subspace was absorbed in a large flash of light. Immediately, space appeared, blurry due to the fact that the ship was dropping out of velocities quicker than light. After a few moments, the ship slowed down considerably, and there was a small creak as the ship strained, and then grew to a halt. Bernard growled.

"Report!"

An Engineering Officer stood.

"Sir, I apologise, but for some reason, the intertial dampeners didn't kick in immediately. Apparently, the increasing Subspace interference back in Tau Sigma threw our drive and equipment off, meaning mis-calculations all around, sir."

The Officer bit his lip, Bernard nodded.

"But, we are in the right place?"

Another Officer stood, Tactical stripes on his shoulders.

"Yes sir. We overshot a little, so we're above where the signal originated, rather than a few KM to the right. Means we can't get a good visual, but we can still make contact."

Bernard nodded.

"Alright then. At ease you two. Comms., check our IFF is working, the Gaians should know who we are. If I'm needed, I'll be in my Office. Guards, get a head start."

Standing, Bernard watched as the doors to the Bridge opened up to two invisable figures. Or rather, 100% camoflagued. Bernard sighed, and, with a sweep of his white cape, stepped down the Podium on which the Command Chair sat, and left the Bridge. Many watched the white uniformed Admiral. They all knew what was going to happen.

And they didn't like it at all.

Across space, a signal was beamed from the IFF Transponder on the Dauntless:

[This is the OHD Dauntless. This ship is Outer Heaven property. Our status upon entering is Alpha Alert. Any hostile ships in the area beware, this ship will fight to it's last breath. All friendly ships, be advised that this status suggests a crisis.]

This message was beamed a few times across space, before shutting down.

The OH MkII vessel had actually arrives about 1.3 million kilometers from Subspace Repeater DS-Station 108.33. The main sginal bounce station for two way communications traffic, both for within the Sphere, and for external communication and intellegence gathering signals.

Given the immense distances involved, the beacon was set outside the White Diamond System to avoid uncomfortable events, such as running into a planet.

After the guests arrived, the station recieved the OH MkII IFF signal, and a simple redirect signal was sent with the following message.

:: ~ Welcome to the Ascendancy Sphere and Confederacy Alliance territories. Please follow this new signal to arrive at the Capital System in short order. ~ ::

The new coordinates were of the Capital worlds themselves. About .3 Parsecs distant. If however to lend to decor, the scenery outside to starboard respectively, was of two gargantuan, spiral galaxies melded at the center at an angle to each other. This despite being in another galaxy altogether.

A few moments after recieving the co-ordinates, the OHD Dauntless turned. Inertial Dampeners now retuned, the 2KM ship engaged it's Subspace drive. Subspace fluctuations skyrocketed for a moment, before becoming a steady flow of bumps. A large, shimmering blue vortex opened, and the Dauntless accelerated to massive speeds, and shot into the Vortex. A few moments later, the Subspace Vortex closed, and a loud wwwwhap! filled space. Considering the lack of particles, the sound must have been loud...

Bare moments later, the OHD Dauntless dropped out of Subspace at the co-ordinates given. This time, the ship didn't shoot out at impossible velocities, but instead stopped a few KM's away from the Vortex. The Vortex closed with a similar wwwwhap!, and the Dauntless immediately began scans.

The vessel arrives just inside the orbit of Emerald, past the Emerald Gate-Shield Grid, the defense fields lowered all through the planetoid field belt to allow the guests to arrive.

The OH MkII vessel arrives in the middle of a normal day of star traffic, commerce and shuttle traffic, Gate traffic through angelic Gates, and a number of patrolling warships and system craft. Thousands of vessels of all kinds in neat lanes between planets, while others Fold Jump to other points in the Sphere realm, and even to the Trade Center-AUs in other portions of the Alpha-verse. The Milky Way in the Virgo Supercluster included.

Within seconds of arrival, two droid escorte corvettes arrive and system traffic controllers inform.. ":: ~ Please follow the escorts to the Capital. Welcome to the White Diamond Star System. ~ ::"

The trip takes only a few minutes at sublight, giving time to enjoy the views of a strong and prosperous capital system. But they don't waste time either, and the trip is indeed short.

The guest vessel is vectored to the Homeworld itself, a M-class world with a stable ring structure, both natural and artifical. The artifical starting to take shape closer up as a band of linked sections between the planet's two StarLadders. Essentially a ring no different than one the Trade Center-AUs are made up of. Another layer of expediency for commerce.

The real focus though is a very large lattice of interlinked docks and stations, orbiting around the upper hemisphere half of White Diamond/Sapphire, about an entire third in size. These are the general docks and ship stations. All military, foreign, and civilian use these. At least fifty layers deep within the lattice, the actual docks are individually huge, with the actuall connecting sections where shuttle docks, station control, traffic control, and teleporter sectors are contained.

The other more military docks, two others, not including the VAST A-SSD docks at the planet's zenith Pole, orbit just as serenely as the general docks. Dock A/L-1847.SL-II is where the tour ends.

The nearby teleporter/shuttle station takes it down to the Command Center of the Palace. There Lady Seto waits.

As the Dauntless docked, Bernard nodded.

"All right then, set everything to automatic, and take some R&R while I'm gone. You'll need it."

Standing, Bernard saluted.

"That's it from me, enjoy yourselves. Guards, follow."

Bernard descended the podium where his Command Chair was sat, and started for the Bridge doors, leading to a turbolift. Just a few moments before he reached them, the doors opened, and two shimmers appeared in the air. Moments later, then went to gray, and after a few more moments, formed themselves into Royal Guards. Nodding, Bernard went through, the Guards behind him.

"Be ready for anything, but set your Staffs to inactive. This visit WILL be peaceful if I can help it."

Bernard patted his pocket as he entered the turbolift, allowing a small grimace as he felt the datacard in his pocket.

To think this could happen.,,

As the Guards filed in, Bernard hit the appropriate switch. Bernard's stomach turned somersalts, and the turbolift shot down towards the Primary Docking Hatch...

A few minutes later, Bernard stepped out, Guards in tow, into the Command Centre of the Palace. His glowing red eyes scanning the room, he found who he assumed to be Lady Seto. Straightening out his Admiral's Uniform, which was a flowing white uniform accompanied with a cap and cape, Bernard seemed to float toward Lady Seto. He bowed in front of her.

"Lady Seto I assume?"

Seto bows in kind. "Welcome. Shall we begin?" ..she says directly, sensing any talk would be prefered to formalities. She then turns and leads the guests across the walkway latticed Command Center of the Palace Tree the view of many levels above and below seemingly infinite, save for shawods into a blue glow below, and the glowing canopy of the sky above the Tree branches.

They are led to the Lord Excellency's personal office, one that looks like in size that should be a dining hall instead. The air from the very large overlook to the left as they all arrive gives a clean, salty tinge from breezes coming in from the Hikari Gulf off shore of Minas Jurai`alheim. The chamber dominated of smooth white diamond, gleaming crystal, and blue-steel materials across walls and ceiling, in no thin amounts. Artwork, both holographic, and unique from across the Sphere and Confederacy are resplendent enough here. Not too gaudy however.

A few holoscreens were operating as Aleaic was discussing with Yurika and Azusa, when Seto enters with the guests. Aleaic looks over and sees, remarking.. "Ah, cometh they have." ..as he walks over towards them.

Bernard nodded.

"Indeed we have. Can you direct me to any holographic projecting devices not in use? What I have to show you requires one. And I need to show you this ASAP. You know who I am, and I bet I'll pick up your name during the discussion. Sorry if I sound rude sir, but this is supremely urgent..."
