Red Tide Uprising...(MT/PMT)

IC:The citizens of Red Tide, mainly the lower class and the tiny middle class, had learned long ago that passive resistance against the Corporate Dictatorship of Red Tide was useless. The Military and the Intellegince-Consortium would move in, assuming the police didnt arrest/beat all of the protestors, and gun any protests down. But active resistance hadnt worked either, Communist and Socialist Rebbelions were slaughtered time and time again, and the few attempted uprisings had too few people and not enough weapons. But now there were enough people.

It was a violent, seemingly half the population of the city of Crig was in a uproar, it came quite literally out of nowhere. One moment the largest city of Red Tide was at peace, the next half the population was revolting. A Military Corps(175,000 men) moved into the city, with naval and air support. Lots of international news agencies caught the footage of convoys of 78 ton MBT-66 Battle Tank rolling into fleeing rioters, those who were and werent. The tanks co-axial M-200 Machine Gun mowing the rioters down, its cannon swivelling and firing into apartments where rioters were throwing molotov cocktails down from(those were not doing anything).

Scenes of H/K-1 VTOL Surface Attack Aircraft screaming over particularly large crowds of rioters, releasing napalm canisters onto them were shown particularly often. A particular piece of footage was of a little four year old girl crying over the disfigured and burnt bodies of what was once her parents. Even worse, there were rioters at the University of Crig, the university was occupied by 30,000 students, both foreign and indigenious students. The Military had pushed its way through the city of 50 million, having killed or arrested 17 million as of yet, they paid for it, a Infantry Regiment was destroyed at one point. But the Red Tide Military was surprisingly quick about replacing lost soldiers. Now they were preparing to assualt the college.

OOC:This is both a international and character role play. The character part is you roleplaying as students from your nation who are hiding in their university dorms when the Red Tide Military comes down on the place. The international part is the usual condemnations/declerations of support stuff, as well as any attempts of support you want to give to the rioters. I will allow five nations to roleplay as their students, who will be based on both roleplaying capability and a first-come-first-serve basis.
