The Military of Potty 5 has long seen the use of heavy lift helicopters such as the Mi-26. These aircraft can transport immense loads to almost any location. These aircraft can even carry significantly heavily armored vehicles such as Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Light Tanks. Potty 5 quickly saw that the Mi-26 had its limitations. Most notable was the limited range. Potty 5 is an immense nation that includes a large number of off shore islands and huge numbers of remove villages. This made the 800km range of the Mi-26 insufficient. Potty 5’s government run armament company AIDI was tasked with the creation of a replacement for the Mi-26 that would boast a 2000km range.
Fist produced in 1987 the Aircraft, Rotary, Cargo of Type of the Emperor’s New Year 91 Number 1 ( ARC Type 91-1 or Type 91 Heavy Lift Helicopter ) was considered an imitated success.
