RE: Order of the Crescent Moon
Main Body:

Greetings my fellow Muslims.

The world in which we live is not a safe place. Not by any stretch of the imagination. All around us are rogue states, such as Israel, who yearn for our blood and our resources.

In particular, the Jews of Israel are a stain upon our region. They pose a threat to regional stability. Such, I would like to propose the following Treaty, to which Middle Eastern* nations can pick and choose which elements suit them (that is to say, it is not necessary to become a full signatory; rather, you can agree to certain elements of the Treaty):

The Order of the Crescent Moon

Article 1

Middle Eastern Muslim nations form an Alliance, known simply as the Alliance of the Crescent Moon. This is a purely defensive Alliance, to protect the region against outside agressors (including Israel).

Article 2

All parties agree to the signing of mutual non-agression pacts. Internal peace and stability is key to the protection of the region.

Article 3

All parties will agree to the free movement of military forces of fellow signatories through their territory.

Article 4

All parties will agree to Free Trade between signatories to boost economic strength.

Amendments can and will be made at the wishes of your good selves.

I await your response.

Sincerely,

Mr Ali Jiham,
Persian Minister for Foreign Affairs

OOC: * For this Treaty, Egypt is being classed as Middle Eastern as opposed to African. This is because the Treaty is based on the Arab League, of which Egypt, IIRC, was a member :D

Should Palestine ever become a soverign nation, we would be happy to sign the treaty. Until then we pledge our support to the document.

OOC: He's right. Send it to the Gaza Strip.
