From the Santa Marta Naval Base and from Operations on San Andres Island--

A massive Colombian naval formation began to form in the Caribbean.

Three Revelation SDs, ten Genesis DNs, Dozens of Destroyers, Frigates, Fast Attack Craft, Coast Guard Cutters, Science Vessels, Dock Ships Logistics of all kinds, Cranes and Flattop Container Carriers, Mine Sweepers, and Survey craft.
Even the Drake Class Wig vessel were flanking the Formation which was making flank speed to meet just North of Santa Marta.

The Drakes and several dozen smaller Combat vessels and Survey ships moved from the base at San Andres, while from Santa Marta a virtual Armada made its way north.

Easily the largest invasion fleet ever assembled in the Caribbean with no notice of hostilities in the region at all.

A display of power....

Yet again it would appear the Colombian ego was forcing them to rattle a Saber at the United States That was at least what Capt. Vasquez of the CVN Annabelle thought.

"How soon before these politicians provoke a war?" He said aloud.

"I beg your pardon Capt.?"
The man who spoke was Colonel David Valencia an Officer in the JSOS.
Special Operations---Capt.Vasquez hated SpecOp people, they were too arrogant.

...and what in the fuck was going to be clandestine about a damned fleet moving towards Peurto Rico.... He thought to himself again.

"Simply noting the inevitable Colonel, simply noting the inevitable."
He said irrated at the tone of the Colonel.

"Capt. nothing is inevitable, save for death, and that is for us all."
The Colonel did nothing but watched, not seeming interested in anything, not seeming....

"Indeed." The Capt. responded.
SpecOp snots trying to wax philosophical, I will brigg him on the return trip for his damned atittude

The truth of the matter was that Capt. Vasquez was irrated at ambiguous orders, and even being instructed to Halt just off Cuban waters to give a Full broadside salute of twenty-one guns to the Cubans for the death of Castro--we were enemies with Castro!!!
He thought to himself again.

Time will tell, and then we will see what is inevitable He thought

We will see......
