Andaras Prime

The old man sat his desk, gold tipped pen in hand. From his office, the crowds on the street below could be heard, chanting for the views of a so called modern Andaras Prime. It was of course inevitable, the Social Marxist party had grown in popularity and support since it's formation 30 years ago. The old man still wondered however how it had come to this, the formal one page document sitting on his desk. It was a strange fate that so much power could be undone by the writing of a signature. The crowds chanting outside quickly became louder.
"I hope you don't have the audacity of calling them to arms" another man in the office said, smugley dressed in an expensive suit.
The old man stood up and looked out the windows, the crowds chanting fervently still.
"I have done all I can to heal the scars of the Revolution, I will not reopen them by prevoking a civil war"
The Imperator, the Supreme Sovereign of Andaras Prime, was of course refering to how the monarchy first came to power. The terrible and bloody civil war fought against republican agitators over a century ago.
"Well then, let's get this over with then shall we. The Assembly has called for your immediate abdication. Abdication under these conditions" said the other man, he was Kael Freiheit, the chairman of the Social Marxist party in Parliament, as he passed yet another document to the Imperator.
"I do not have to read them to know that they are unacceptable" replied the Imperator Samuel II.
"Well, unappealing maybe, but unacceptable is no longer a word in your vocabulary" Kael said arrogantly. "The people of Andaras Prime are tired of being stuck in the past, being governed by an out of date monarchy..."
"Silence! I will not have my empire overturn by a mob of rogues and swindlers! I should have had you hung" the Imperator shouted, by his words no longer held weight. His government had become more and more dependant on the National Assembly and Chamber of Deputies, that he had become a meaningless figure head.
"Mmmmm" Kael smiled smugley "something for the memoirs i surpose. The deputies have given you 40 minutes to sign your abdication, and they will grant you sanctuary in the nation of your choice"
"Then I challenge the deputies vote" Samuel II said with defiance.
"That would be difficult, in fact, impossible"
"Then I will dissolve the chamber"
"The members have decreed that anyone who tries to dissolve the chamber will be considered a traitor"
With that Kael left the room, leaving the Imperator, once the highest authority in Andaras Prime, with nothing to contemplate but his total and utter fall in power. With reluctance, the now old man put pen to paper, first signing his name and writing one last decree.
"People of Andaras Prime, I give myself up by the love of my country, and hatred of Andaras's enemies. I hereby abdicate my throne, and therefore permantly dissolve the Crown, under the sovereignty of The House of Samuel. I give full control to the National Assembly, and the Chamber of Deputies. And hereby declare Andaras Prime a Republic, and give governing power to the political party who is elected in a nation wide plebiscite that will take place immediately."
The Imperator had no doubts that the Social Marxist Party would be elected, he retreived another piece of paper for another letter which would determine his fate.
"To the nations of the world, the monarchy of Andaras Prime has been dissolved to be replaced by a centralised government determined by an upcoming plebicite in my nation, and accountable as I have been to the Deputies Chamber. I have abdicated my throne, and ask for exiled santuary in a royalist friendly nation, for myself and the royal family of Andaras Prime. For this you will be given my riches only that myself and my family are safe. Thankyou, and God bless.

OOC: Sorry I have no posted this change earlier, i have been a republic for some time now. Note that this issue has much to go, including the referendum, possibly the socialist party members plotting against the royal family. Possibly even a royalist insurrection at home, and of course the person who decides to take in the royal family will be involved in this rp.
