Emperor Harsimran Mann stood on the balcony of his window as he peered upon his graceful and exotic civilization that he ruled. He had ruled for over 10 years as the youngest emperor to ever take the throne after the death of Emperor Gurjeevan Mann I. As his son, he had to endure political attacks that in the end strengthened his political resolve and allowed him to crush any opposition to his new title.
Harsimran curled his lips into a gigantic smile that he was known to flash whenever he knew that he was right or was feeling overly joyfull that day. He turned around and strolled back in. His long, golden robe flowed behind him as he walked through the wooden door and into his Imperial Room. Inside stood his Foreign Imperial Minister Harman Sidhu. Harman was a broad man with dark hair and dark eyes. He had a slight overbite but he was a relative of Harsimran and his beloved cousin.
Harman bowed to the Emperor before being ushered into one of the deluxe, red cushion seats.
"My lord, thank you for allowing me to come to the Palace to discuss the matters... at hand."
"Only for my beloved cousin and collegue, Harman. Now lets get to the point as I have other appointments."
"Ah, yes, your highness. Well as our domestic capabilities grow, our economy has shot forward bounds to make us a regional economic power. Along with that, trade has so far increased with our neighbors."
"That's good but what's your point?"
"Your lordship, I think it is now time to use this economic growth to our advantage. We should take our rightful place as one of the regions great powers. Our military and economic power easily makes us the dominate power on the Southeast Asian subcontinent."
"Yes, that's stuff I've already known for a while. Only through my leadership will this empire will become a powerful regional power. But to reach such a goal, we must take our time and take the climate of the politics into consideraton."
"What do you mean, your highness, if I may ask?"
"If our nation is to survive in such an utter violent and chaotic world, we must forge relations and friendships with our friends and allies, abroad. Only then can we ensure that our nation and there's will live in a state of peace and at least some parts of the world will be void of chaos, barbarianism, and utter uncivilized savagry."
Harman just nodded in acceptance. The plan was tact as the empire had many friends abroad from Europe to Asia to the Americas.
